Something to keep in mind, hopefully to get started later in the day or carried out over the next timeskip as soon as we speak with Pavana.

Tattoo arrangement:

All designs are rendered in Celtic Knotwork/Linework so as to give a common theme.

Center front of body, Yggdrasil design. Roots starting at the hips, trunk up the center of the torso, boughs spreading at the solar plexus out and over the shoulders, onto the back.

Up the Trunk of the Yggdrasil place symbols in locations corresponding to the Hindu Chakras, either the actual Lotus designs rendered as knots or something else (there's a heart Chakra, shut the fuck up Snapple you're essentially getting your wish) Each Chakra can be a focus.

The boughs of the tree at the shoulder become a pair of braids that run in a double helix down each arm. These spirals terminate on the back of the hand and just below the wrist. The braid at the back of the hand ends in a Mjolnir design, while the one at the wrist ends with a Jormungand Serpent head. Alternatively, the right arm's are both Mjolnir, for energy output, and the left arm's are both Jormungand, for energy intake.

As the boughs spread out onto the back, they become the borders and connecting lines for a Sefirot Tree of Life, each position of which can act as a separate focus point. If preferred, keep the Sefirot formation, but render the points in Futhark alphabet rather than Hebrew.

The roots of the Yggdrasil loop from the front of the hips down around under the buttocks, narrowing as the go until they halt at the front of the mid-thigh. Here the design becomes three leg bands, made of knotwork, somewhat like a garter. The line then reemerges, proceeding down the thigh until it splits around the kneecap, becoming an Ouroboros that starts at the top of the shin and swallows itself above the foot. The ankles are adorned with small raven wing designs.

Most of the expansion downwards is going to be for Garden Space and some extra living space in the gardens. Like soft beds and sleeping/fucking surfaces integrated naturally into the garden. My first suggestion would be to go more Eastern with the symbolism, or at least more Celtic/Gaelic, considering the ethnicity of Max's name puts her ancestry puts her being from the British isles pre-Viking invasions. I think we should focus more on the chi lines and chi points rather than just the chakras, since apparently those were important enough to play heavily into Pavana's design. I also think that rather than having big, flashy, ostentatious displays, we should go with nice, subtle designs that work well with white/UV ink. Norse and Celtic/Gaelic designs work best in big, bold, blue/black, Woad style.

I'm not at all opposed to incorporating tree-based symbolism, but going full Norse with it - especially since Max isn't some nerdy kid who would even know any Norse symbolism - is probably a bad idea.

Okay, how about this? We do the chi lines in UV ink and a small celtic knot at each of the actual chi points in white ink.
