Welcome to another brand new edition of Succubi Quest!

Last time we left off, we getting Brooklyn to plan all he could for his upcoming fight with a group of Adventurers, who stole all the snow pirates we were originally going to use! For this, we decided to bring out the big guns of calling upon the assistance of both Brodin and Ada to assist in this endeavour. After a lengthy discussion of plans (Which I hope I read the votes right. The discussion was rather large). Now we continue where we left off, where YOU are the demons attacking the Adventurers for once!

Is it safe to talk?

(“As I said to Mina, very hushed whispers.”) Sebastien replies.

“Alright, first things first. Lets see if we can try to end this with as little bloodshed as possible. Brodin, see if you can go down in your Reaper form and just try to talk them out of taking the people away. Something like saying their times have come?” you ask him.

“Funny thing is, most of those Snow Pirates are fated to die soon. Like... Tomrrow actually. I don’t even think the adventurers know themselves if they’re stereotypical Illysians.” Brodin says as he puts on his hood. “I can try yea, but just as a reminder I can’t kill any of the bandits if they try to run away from me or don’t attack me. Nor can I attack the Adventurers unless they attack either me or any of us first. I can get in their way or look threatening.”

“Doesn’t matter. Even if we can lead them around the corner, then we’ve won.” you reply. “Now if worse comes to worse and a fight breaks out...”

(“Ada and I think it will.”) Sebastien remarks.

“...If it does, then first things first is that we need to take out that Cleric. Most of us are Demons, and anyone else getting ‘blessed’ weapons is going to mean big trouble for us. While Brodin is talking to the group, I’d like Ada to try and get into a position where she can attempt to take out the Cleric if fighting actually does start.” you say.

(“Despite what Ada says otherwise, I doubt she’s going to get directly behind that Cleric without that bloody Rogue or Cleric noticing.”) Sebastien says.

So what bonus did Brodin get for his gravity scythe crusher, I don't think it was ever specified and the character sheet hasn't been updated. Also, I still think that it should be Sebastien to attempt to take out the cleric while Ada gets the wizard.

Figures. Alright, everyone needs to get into their positions now. Throw everything you’ve got at them right off the bat. Tell Ada to get into position to get the Cleric, and tell Brodin to start looking as threatening as possible. Big, Scary, but also using darkness magic so that Ada will have an easier time sneaking about.

(“Anything else you want me to relay?”) Sebastien asks.

Ada needs to get behind the Cleric, or at least close enough so she can stab him in the back. Seb, I want you to gib the other one Ada doesn’t take out. It’ll be then I’ll start throwing out the explosives. Once Ada has attacked the Cleric, she’ll need to back off a bit as she’ll be on rogue duty afterwards. Brodin is going to need to take on the Paladin

“Mina, I need you to be prepared to jump in and hit the fighter with everything you’ve got.” you tell Mina. “I’ll support you along with Brodin. Once the sneak attacks begins, that’ll be our cue to fight. Let’s do this people.” you say giving a soft punch into one of your fists.

“I’m not asking you Paladin. I’m *ordering* you.” Brodin says. You can hear some sounds of general uneasiness from the various adventurers down below as Brodin darkens the area around the camp.

“How dare you order a member of the Holy Illysian Church!” The Paladin says. “I shalt not move from this spot on behalf of these men’s lives!”

Sebastien and Ada couldn’t manage to finish the Cleric off. He’s hanging on by a hair, and if you don’t take him out *now* that bastard Paladin is going to heal him, the Cleric will heal himself, and you’ll be in a whole pile of shit.

“This is going to hurt...” you mutter to yourself as you channel light and darkness magic into each of your individual fingers, charging up and sending your Annhilator shots pouring down at him.

The Cleric only has a split second to look up before the very ground around him starts exploding. Snow and rocks fly up into the air while you continue to pound the Cleric’s general position with your explosive shots.

Then it hits you. A split second feeling of dread before suddenly it feels as if your entire body is being flash burned inside of an oven. The pain isn’t near as intense as it was with Leona’s symbol, but this time it is all over your body. You grip the sides of your arms in pain as the shining light and heat dies around you, clutching your smoking form. You look out at the dust cloud of the Cleric’s position, and see through the snow and smoke that the Cleric lays on the ground. Whenever he is alive or not you cannot tell.

“BASS NO!” the wizard calls out as he opens his tomb, his hands glowing with a fiery red glow. “Alright that does it! Fear the spells that Rand Browning taught me!”

You can feel a metaphorical pain and sensation ripping through your body which is far more painful than Leona’s cross and more frightening than Brodin’s Reaper form. Rand is your *father*. The one that should be dead!

This wizard has information. Information you want. Information that you will literally burrow into his mind in order to get!

“Don’t kill him!” you cry out to Sebastien as your rage boils up. You sink a fairly decent chunk of Aether power into summoning Darkness tentacles from the shadows the nearby fireplace is producing. The tentacles mouth’s open up, into razor sharp teeth, drooling inky bits of darkness onto the floor.

The Wizard looks around for a moment, frightened, before he attempts to run. But he’s no match for the speed of the darkness tentacles. They wrap him up into a cocoon of darkness, spreading his limbs out and covering his mouth so he cannot say a word.

Sebastien is about to attack the wizard, before he suddenly drops his rifle, spinning around to grab something in midair. When you turn and look, you can see that Sebastien is grabbing the wrist of the Rogue and hurling him down to the ground. Sebastien then pulls out a revolver and points it at the Rogue. “You’re talented to past that trap unharmed, but you’re going to need more practice if you’re going to be catching me by surprise.”

The Rogue groans, reaching into his pocket and moving his head to the side in order to avoid Sebastien’s shot at the last possible moment. The Rogue then throws something at Sebastien’s face, smoke bombs that detonate and obscure his vision. As the Rogue nimbly flips back up, you can see his hood is down and that upon closer inspection, is he no older than a small kid himself.

“I still have my own tricks!” The Rogue says proudly with a knife in his hand.

The Paladin loves light? OK. You’re give him the damn light alright.

You point your hands out at him, firing thick beams of light from your hands down at the Paladin. Unfortunately the bastard must’ve saw it coming, as he holds his shield up to block the shot. One of your shots does impact his leg, but he moves it out of the way. You can tell by the red hot armour that he must’ve felt that one.

“Ha! Is that all you’ve got you accursed witch!?”

“Then let me show you...” you grit your teeth and furrow your eyebrows. You dig your feet firmly into the ground. You begin to force all of the aether from inside of your body and directly into your hands. “EXACTLY WHAT I’M MADE OF!!!”

The ball of light the laser beam around hand flashes, before suddenly expanding itself to be many times that of its original size. The diameter of the laser beam is easily that of yourself. The very floor around you cracks and warps as pieces of the building around you are vaporized.

The large, multicoloured beam of light heads towards the Paladin, slamming into his entire body. The shield is still blocking his torso, his feet literally cracking the pavement below as he tries to hang on, and quickly melting into molten rock not long after.

“Aha... Ahahaha...” The Paladin laughs, the laughs of which sound exactly forced. “I-I’m not feeling this a-”

The Paladin doesn’t get to finish his sentence as he’s carried away by the blast of light. The laser beam literally burns through and entire chunk of the building, and continues to push him further and further down into an alleyway, crashing into a nearby shop front where your laser continues to drill a hole through it.

You keep going as long as you can, but you’ve reached your limit. The multi-coloured beam finally dies, the last remaining bits of it vanishing into multi-colored sparkles. The trail your laser ploughed through the ground is thick with the steam of melting snow, the freshly created water attempting to cool the trench you left. As you look down the street, you can see the Paladin is now unconscious himself, his body laying down in a heap of rapidly cooling molten metal.

NEW UNIQUE SKILL!

FINAL NOVA BLAST!

This attack is a devastating spell not known to many. When used, it consumes all the aether available for use in the casters body into an immensely powerful multicoloured beam of light. The power on this spell largely depends on how much Aether the caster has with him. While immensely powerful, the user needs to use caution of when exactly to use this spell, lest it leave him with an opponent still alive and the caster with no aether left.

You place one arm on the side of the building, panting from the exertion the recent attack. But you don’t have that long before the tentacles give out and the Wizard does something out of fear, or worse.

“Belkarian! Get the wizard before he does something stupid. Reaper! Take care of the fighter! ...And sorry for short names!” you call down to below.

“...Trade?” Mina asks Brodin.

Brodin uses his scythe to hook the scimitar sword, getting into the handle piece and throwing the sword with such force that it lodges into the building, before walking away . “Sure.”

Leaving the Wizard in capable hands, you head on over to the Rogue whom Sebastien currently has pinned. You can see Ada frisking him, and the kid certainly has no shortage of weapons.

“Hey careful! I paid a lot for all that!” the Rogue pleads.

“You shouldn’t be talking that way to a lady!” Ada says driving her knee into the kids back, making him squirm around.

“Got all of his lockpicking tools?” Sebastien asks Ada.

“...Yea I think so.” Ada says giving one final pat over.

“Hold his other arm.” Sebastien orders. Ada grabs his other arm, where Sebastien then takes a thin piece of plastic out from his coat pocket and ties it onto the Rogue’s wrists, then the same for his legs.

“...Damn the kid had an armory in him...” you look down at the side. You can see a wide array of bombs, lockpicking tools, several knives, and other knick-knacks.

“...Tools of the trade for people like us Okarian. If anything I’m underequipped. I swear our city doesn’t sell good lockpicking tools worth a damn...” Ada mutters.

“Your wound OK?” you ask, pointing at the gash on her leg.

Oh sweet we didn't kill a single one. Alright we'll take them to the shrine with the bandits to get mindread and mindwiped of our presence. Leaving them with knowledge of a Reaper and several succubbus would be stupid to the extreme since Brodin has been making a name for himself in the bars around town.

Lets load the bandits up and get us to the shrine.
>>

>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
so the party we just beat, they were equal power level to us
>>

I doubt the queens will eat them. They desire more worthy of having their souls destroyed like these bandits. And these adventurers probably are fairly good morally speaking.
>>
>>
>>
>>
That and...well, it would be a bit rude to do anything to the fighter once he actually surrendered. The Fighter, Rogue and Wizard...well, they didn't have any emotional investment here. Heck, the Paladin was the only one that seemed like a Jerk, going against his own faith's views on the natural order because he wanted to do things his way.

I'd like to talk this out with them if I can. If nothing else, we might learn WHY they were about...and something about our father.
>>
Let's not forget about the "priest" that was about to kill all these people..
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
Main issue with not killing them is that they'd have knowledge of the queens. We need to take them to the shrine and see if there is a safe way to not kill them.
>>
>>
>>
We should easily be able to just have jannine make them loyal to us or make them forget us, there is no need to actually kill them, just drain them of some aether.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
Adventurers seeing as non died are worth somewhere between 5-20 peoples worth of Aether, so there is taht in favor of sacrificing them.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
I would like to point out there is nothing more delicious than turning ones tools against its owner.

These Adventurers but mere tools. Something is up with the priest and what better way to stopping him than sending the very same Adventurers back after him.

But I feel we'll not be able to do that really. Ah well. Still be funny to me to try.

“Tough bastard. The Cleric still alive?” you ask.

“Better shape than the Paladin.” Brodin replies.

“So Mr. Wizard, I’m going to give you the same choice I am for the rest of your Adventurer friends. You’re going to cooperate with us. If you don’t, then we’ll be bringing you extreme and unending pain. Do you understand?” you ask him, tilting your hat so it darkens the area around your eyes a bit.

“C-crystal clear ma’am!” the wizard replies.

“We’re taking all of you and the Snow Pirates elsewhere. Load them all up in the carriage.” you tell him. “You mind Reaper?”

“I don’t, but I think the Belkarian has other plans.” Brodin says as his eyes look over to the direction of Mina.

Confused, you look over. You can see that Mina and the Fighter are now making out fiercely, the Fighters hands either rubbing Mina’s back or groping her ass.

“...BELKARIAN!” you yell out to her.

“Y-yes!” She says quickly peeling herself away from the Fighter.

“HIM! WAGON! NOW!” You tell barking out some orders. “Laminian, grab the Wizard and escort him over to the Wagon as well. Reaper and I will get the rest of them.”

“Taking them all to the shrine?” Brodin asks as you walk to the Snow Pirates.

“Yea. They’ll probably be able to figure out something themselves.” you say as you head inside.

You can see rows of captured bandits, including some women and children amonst the lot of them. You can tell which ones are the warriors for the base, as those ones appear to be fairly beaten and bruised. All of them are looking at both you and Brodin in equal amounts of horror, babbling on in some sort of tribal tongue that you cannot identify. All of them are tied up with rope and cloth with their hands and feet. You do a mental count of all the men here who look like fighters. You count about 19 total, which should give you more than enough with even a few left over to spare.

Things we need to address.
The fact that those bandits were fated to die tomorrow under the care of that priest.
The fate of these adventurers. I'm of the opinion to let them live with a mindwipe. They are genuinely good people. Now that we know of them perhaps we can leave a favorable impression on the non-paladins for jobs. Its a good idea to keep an adventurer group in your backpocket.
Prepping to change Leona to succubus-hood. Can't really delay that.
Our father. Is he still alive? If so why was he reported dead and what has he been doing since he left?

“Thank you Miyu. I couldn’t even think with him yelling like that.” you say to Miyu.

“You do learn how to tune him out. ...Eventually.” The Rogue says.

“So... Can you tell us all a little bit about yourselves?” Mina asks. “Like who you are and what you do?”

“It should be pretty obvious what they do.” Sebastien says. You’ve noticed he’s taken off his mask and is now lighting a cigarette.

“I meant on a more personal level!” Mina replies to Sebastien.

“My name is Alex. I’m a Fighter from Europe.” the Fighter says. Looking at him closely, you can notice that he’s wearing black articulated armour.

“There are about 30 different varieties of Fighter.” Purple replies.

“Warlord.” Alex says looking at Purple up and down. “...It is such a shame that a wonderous woman like you is clad in such heavy armour.”

“Did you you know I can swing my blade at mach 30?” Purple replies to him.

“Oh for christs sake, keep your dick in your pants Alex.” The Rogue says sighing. “My name is Troy and I’m from the Divided States of America. I’m a hand-for-hire.”

“So a Thief?” Laminian asks.

“...I prefer the term Rogue.” Alex replies.

“M-my name i-is Uilosdir. A-A wizard...” The elf says in a very sheepish tone. “Pleasedon’tkillus.”
