"Sam?" you ask from the doorway. You don't want to head in just yet. "What the hell happened here?"

"Max?" he asks, turning towards you. "I thought you were one of the bodies out there. Dextra Domini raided the dorms last night. They were calling for revenge - I don't know for what. They dragged three people out and... And burned them alive after nailing them up. They were from higher circles than us too. I know they got the dryad girl, I... I never even learned her name."

He starts crying again. The fish guy puts a hand on his back to try to comfort him.

What do you do now?

Head on in, pat him on the back, try to calm him down. "It's not your fault Sam. You couldn't have done anything about it. All you can do now is try to survive, you can stick it out or you can leave, no one will judge you either way.

I have my ten-inch-blade stiletto dagger out right now, for self-protection an to channel my fury.

Get them the hell out of that building. They need to find somewhere else to hide, or they need to leave the school, now. Go check to see if our stuff is there. Ask him if they ever came into your room and went through your stuff. If they did, leave it or destroy it. Don't touch it. Even if they didn't touch it, check it for tracking wards and other magic. If there is even the slightest possibility that there's shit on our stuff, abandon it or destroy it.

As for Sam and company, well, like I said, they need to at the least get the hell out of that building, if not the school.

And I say we never, ever, ever admit any involvement in this matter to the general public.

>>
>>23149772
>This one was our fault, we sent Dad out, and it cost us the dryad who we could lovingly water with our cum. I knew there would be consequences. I TOLD YOU THERE WOULD BE CONSEQUENCES!
I must disagree. The Dextra guys, in this case, didn't care about punishing the crime, or they wouldn't have attacked the special first years. The ones they killed were obviously innocent, they had neither the means nor the motive to do it.
In other words, they were just waiting for any pretext. It would have happened sooner or later.
>>
"You guys should probably get out of here. An upperclassman told me the dorms aren't safe, and that you should find somewhere else to stay in the city."

"Yeah, I... I figured," says Sam, getting himself back under control. "I'll go try to find somewhere else to stay tonight. I just... I didn't think it would be this dangerous. Classes haven't even started yet."

"Maybe you should consider heading home. It probably just gets worse after this," you say.

"No... No, I'm not going to be bullied out of here. I just wasn't prepared for what was coming. I will be now," he says, getting a steely look in his eyes.

"Hey, Max?" says Lin, behind you. "Her seed pods are still intact."

I told you guys that there would be commotion if we let him loose, that shit would go down and be bad. I admit I said we'd have a goon squad knocking on our doors, but I still called that there would be retaliation.

Now we don't get the dryad girl. At least we have Breakfast.
>>
>>23149829
I support this action. At the very least we should be getting the bodies down. Leaving them nailed to a god damn wall is unacceptable. We should at least get them down, cover them up, and try to identify them. Check for seeds on the dryad girl, and anything of use on the others, as well. If they're dead, the best we can do is treat their bodies with respect, and not let their resources go to waste. Even a small magic trinket, at this point, would be helpful.
>>
>>23149772
>This one was our fault, we sent Dad out
Maybe, maybe not.

We do know that higher circles don't get involved with firsties unless something bit happens.

One girl going missing doesn't sound like enough to justify "FULL SCALE ATTACK! BURN THEM IN PUBLIC. WE WILL SEND A MESSAGE"

Also, she's been gone a few hours at most, not even enough time for people to assume the worst.

I bet this is in response to something else.
>>
Let's grab our stuff ASAP and get the fuck out. Keep an eye out for traps and tracking wards.
>>
>>23149899
>Her seed pods are still intact.
EAT THEM
>>
>>23149899
We should t harvest those in front of people. Do it later.
>>
>>23149899
We'll take them and plant them back near the tower. Not inside, but someplace we can get to wasily.
>>
So they responded to one first year potential recruit going missing with mass murder and nailing up the bodies of people who they didn't even know if they were involved.

If anyone still thinks that reducing all of Dextra Domini to either brain-damaged sexual aides or corpses is too kind, then you truly are a white knight.
>>
>>23149910
It might be that, in combination with our dad's theft, some others were coincidentally killed or went missing. Maybe some overzealous firstie killed a second or third-year. By all means, inform dad, but don't immediately blame him.
>>
>>23149899

Before this happened, it was perfectly reasonable to think that some of them might be level-headed and just in the group out of social obligation. Huzzah, we are going to grow those seeds in a garden we make in our tower. We needed a garden anyways and I bed plantgirls make things bloom like nothing else.

Have them collect the seed pods while we distract Fishy and Sam, we'll check our stuff, probably leave it behind unless it's very important, just in case.

Keep an eye on this one. Sounds like the kind of drive that would make a stong pseudo-friend, or eventual Frenemy that is not a dick about it.

Sounds like a great time to give him a hug or other physical gesture, tilt things toward semi-ally. Then we deal with the bodies. He can help fishman can help, anyone who feels up to it.

"Seed pods?" you ask. "Does that mean she can regenerate, or would they be like her children?"

"The latter," says Lin. "I don't know how long it takes to grow a dryad or what conditions are required, but, well, the seeds are there."

"Grab them," you tell Lin. She reaches up and starts cracking open the charred remains of the dryad's pelvis. She pulls out half a dozen golf-ball-sized shiny red seeds.

"You're going to grow them?" asks Sam.

"That's a respectful thing to do," says the fish man.

Oh, good, it was indiscriminate killing, too.

I'm feeling a counter-crusade welling up inside me. We should find some concealable weapons to carry with us on-grounds, firearms or melee. Folding stiletto daggers, sheathed combat knives, punch daggers, compact pistols, whatever we can get our hands on and not look obvious while carrying. I agree. If resurrection only requires a part of the body, we can keep one of the seeds preserved for resurrection at a later time. If either dad or the librarian can manage it, I say we also should try and get on the librarian's good side. That may prove invaluable both sooner and later.

"It's probably better if we split up, Sam. Bigger groups clearly make more attractive targets. You should be gone by tonight too - all of you should."

"Yeah, fair enough. Do you mind if I take one of those seeds? I might want to start a garden."

"Sure," you say. You give him one of the shiny red seeds, and one to the fish guy too when he asks. "By the way, why did you end up in these dorms anyway? You never did tell me."

"My mother's a succubus," he says. "I have girl parts."

"I'm in a similar situation," you say. A look of realization crosses his face.

"I'll see you around, Max," he says. You and he head in and grab your bags quickly, then leave just as fast. Fish guy is grabbing his things too when you leave.

"Should we head to the girls' dorms first, or stop by the library to get a book on dryads?" asks Liz.

What do you do?

>>

Dryad seeds are probably pretty fucking valuable. And if we bribe her with one as well as the means to make a harvest-able supply of them (provided that isn't a dryad taboo), she may be very likely to help us rez some plant tits. Especially if she is amused by the thought of us actually bringing our own competition back into the world.

No. Right now L&L can't effectively defend themselves alone. Strength in numbers.

Let's not rez plant tits, it seems difficult, and the body is kinda fucked, we might not be able to do it with it in its state and I don't want to bring our competition back.

But growing her daughters, having them tend our garden, and watering them daily with our semen seems good.

"Let's head to the girls' dorm next," you say, and the three of you set out. You cross the campus quickly, heading to the girls' dorms. You stop by Liz's room first and grab her stuff. Her creepy room mate just gives the three of you a distant, hollow stare as you do.

When you turn into the part of the dorm where Lin's room is, though, you see a girl who looks a couple of years older than you leaning against Lin's door. She has combat boots, a cruciform sword on one hip, a shiny pistol on the other, and a white hoodie adorned with a red cross. When she catches sight of you, her eyes narrow and her gun hand clenches and unclenches.

You hang back and let Lin go forward to the room. When Lin reaches the door, the girl just stands there, blocking her way. "Excuse me," says Lin.

"Yeah?" asks the girl. She's Irish.

"I want to get my things out of my room," says Lin.

The girl stares at her. Hard. "You have any idea what happened to your room mate? She went missing last night and the room is torn apart."

"I wasn't here last night," answers Lin honestly. The Dextra girl stares at her for a while longer, then nods to let her in. When Lin comes back, her bags over her shoulders, she says, "She was right, the room's a mess. There was some blood on the bed too." You recall that you dad said that she had been a virgin before he found her.

Breakfast is sitting on the floor in front of him, his fingers on her temples.

"Max!" calls out Breakfast cheerfully. "Cock, please!" she says, then opens her mouth wide and sticks out your tongue.

"Oh, you're back soon, Max," says your dad. "I'm just working on her mind right now. We've already made a lot of progress, haven't we, girl?"

Ask him if he knows what kind of family unti dryads grow in. We might want to send some seeds back to her home.

We still need some advice to find books without relying on the librarian.
>>
can we like let her play/suck with our hand while talking to dad?
>>
>>23151436
>You swing past the special dorms and are greeted with a grisly sight. Nailed to the walls of the building are three corpses, burnt beyond recognition, nailed to the walls above and to either side of the main door. There are blood stains and scorch marks on the path leading to the door, and you can't really make out what's inside.

Had to grab it from Foolz since sup/tg/ is being an epileptic cunt with tourettes.
>>
>>23151282
Among other things ask Dad what her opinion on pussy is and about how much he thinks he'll be able to put together. Give her something to suck, either a finger or our hard cock to reward her, we want a happy pet, not a sad one.
>>
>>23151255
I'm pretty sure we're just trying to win
>>
>>23151494
It would be rude to Liz/Lin. They're our first ladies. Breakfast is for when they're both tired and/or not in the mood.
>>
Get dad to check we weren't tailed, then ask >>23151352 this stuff.
>>
>>23151551
So she's our right hand then.
>>
>>23151551
She's the family pet, and she loves cock. It'd be mean to deny it to her as long as we don't cut into Liz/Lin time, that's not how a good pet owner would act, and we drain from her and not from Liz/Lin of course.

Roll for you being a fag
>>
"Dextra Domini killed three students in the special dorms and there was a guard outside of Breakfast's old room," you say.

"She must have been important to them," your father muses. "Not important enough to go scorched earth, but still. I'm glad you're safe, at least."

"I got these off of a dead dryad student," you say, holding out the four large seeds. You offer Breakfast your free hand and she sucks on your fingers happily and lustily.

"Oh, wow, those are a fantastic find," your dad says. "My condolences, though."

"We were thinking of getting a book on dryads from the library and trying to grow them ourselves," you say.

"Good idea. It would be a good opportunity to bribe the librarian too. You should give her one - it's hard to get a dryad in a garden. They're worth quite a lot."

"Can you make some ammunition for some of the guns?" you ask. "I would like to have a pistol or something if I get jumped by the Dextra Domini."

"Sure," says your dad, releasing Breakfast. She crawls up and rubs against your legs. Your dad heads to the armory, then comes back with a pair of undecorated m1911's, each now fully-loaded. "If you need more ammunition than that, you should probably have just run the hell away."

What now?
>>
>>23151592
I feel like it would be rude to just do it in front of L&L.
Let's ask them whether we can use Breakfast.
>>
>>23151620
Well okay then, have fun with that.
>>
>>23151651
Ask L&L if we could give Breakfast what she wants, then after that we go to the Library to bribe the Librarian. We'll offer one, and only offer a second if she stonewalls completely.
>>
>>23151651
Ask him about wards against bullets.
>>
>>23151651
Do we have concealable holsters as well? Because walking around with a gun in full view seems bad.

"Liz, Lin, would you mind if I let Breakfast suck my cock? She's been a good girl and has been trying hard to please all of us, she deserves a small reward."
>>
>>23151651
>We talked about making her into a cat-maid
>FemCOCK makes her behave like a cat
You're always looking out for us, FemCOCK. God bless you.

Anywho, I guess it's time to head off to the Library.
>>
>>23151651
"Well running might not be an option. That's like, what, fourteen shots total? And maybe another gun too, so we'll all be going armed."
>>
>>23151688
This. Also flash-stepping, that's got to be useful.
>>
I liked it better when we weren't a rapist.
>>
>>23151651
>no holster
C'mon dad. We're not tucking that shit into our waistband.

We need to ask Liz & Lin about their experience with guns and make time for target practice.

- Head to the library and take a seed to bribe the librarian.
>>
Ask dad if there's a way to find out how to give Breakfast an additional row of breasts and what book should we look for.

Not enough Fetishes lately.
>>
>>23151651
Let's go back to the library. I'd want to have a pause here, but we want to be found by Dane.

And get guns for the girls too. If there's stillettos/daggers, they might be useful too in different situations.
>>
>>23151705
If it takes more than, at max, two bodyshots from a 1911 with .45 caliber bullets loaded, then whatever you shot was not something you should have shot. Fourteen bullets, even at 30% accuracy, would still be enough to kill two or three people, maybe four.
>>
>>23151651
"Any chance of teaching me how to make some ammo? I'd like to learn how to make some crazy stuff too. Explosive, ice, neck snapping, electrical. Ya know, the works!"
>>
>>23151701
Hell, we might not even need to transmute her. Just make her a cat-ears headband. Much cuter, and the ears can be easily removed just in case.
>>
>>23151726
>body mods
We've covered this already and that's just stupid anyway.
>>
>>23151726
Eh, I'm cool with sensitive cat ears and tail but not really for extra tits. Also Dad probably can't do that, Living Alchemy is a Lotus thing.

>>23151741
That also works.
>>
>>23151700
Liz is the only one that we need permission from.
>>
>>23151732
Remember we're due for a lesson with the Lotus today, so we shouldn't spend all day locked up in the tower, we need to be out and about so we can be found by that Lotus guy who's name I've completely forgotten.
>>
>>23151730
Assuming we (with no firearms experience whatsoever and firing a .45) manage to hit with even a third of our shoots. And they're unarmored and unwarded. And, you know, there's only a few of them.
And we don't run into any monsters.
>>
>>23151726
We need some S/M fetishes, more than anything. If we get a chance to put a leash on something, or use manacles to extreme effect, then we might just have some fetish fuel to light a boner-bonfire with.
>>
>>23151715
>>23151688
THESE. THESE ARE MOST IMPORTANT.
>>
>>23151776
Unless we're talking movie physics, a .45, especially a 1911, is an incredibly easy gun to use. If you can't hit a normally moving target at least a third of the time, you have severe sight or muscle coordination issues. Of course, our body rolls will decide our gun proficiency, not hypothetical situations.

Also, kinetic wards in general would be useful. If we can get high-level kinetic wards up, then those would stop bullets AND blunt or sharp melee weapons, at least to some degree. Conjuring bullets will require study in alchemy, as well as conjuration, so that might be out of our league until we do research on materials.
>>
>>23151651

i guess its time to go to ze library, and give the librarian a bri- er, a gift of seed.

"hey, Miss[librarians name] would you like to have some of my seeds?"
>>
>>23151779
We can totally put a leash on Breakfast, or at the very least give her a collar with a bell on it so so we hear her coming when she's lusting after our cock.
>>
>>23151726

no, just no.
>>
>>23151839
Seconded on the bell. We don't want her sneaking up and jumping us at an innapropriate time.

>>23151836

>>
>>23151651
Well now we have the librarian's gift. Let's go get that bit of mind and learn more magic.
>>
>>23151839
So you are saying we should snap a collar around her neck
>>
>>23151831
I watched my brother first fire a handgun. It was a little .22 beretta, at about 15 feet. He missed the first four shoots against a standard target.

Some people just cannot into guns right away, and since Max has never even held one that we know, never mind fired at a moving target while stressed, we should play it safe and arm up as well as possible.

Living in a home inside a giant living tree where everything is made from modified plant life.

Wouldn't that be great?

"Is there any defensive magic you could teach me? Shield, short teleports, that kind of thing?"

"Sure, but that will require time to teach. Kinetic shields are Sorcery, while Spatial shields and teleportation are Conjuration. As I understand it, though, if you're in Lotus, you might want to focus on making your flesh as durable as steel or your skin bulletproof or something."

"Could we bring the dryad girl back from the dead using one of these seeds?"

"I... suppose so, Max. But usually things come back wrong, and even when they don't... The physical and mental therapy can take years, or even longer. Most never recover - those who come back as anything other than a mindless shell, that is. It's almost always a bad idea to try to bring someone back from the dead."

What now?
>>
>>23152130
What if we somehow hotkey our eventual transmutation abilities to neck snapping? Like, we snap their necks and they instantly turn into a catgirl with an unsnapped neck? It would be like a form of execution, except instead we break their minds and turn em into catgirls.
>>
>>23152136
Let's ask Liz/Lin if we can give Breakfast some attention, then after we do the rumpy-pumpy with interested parties we'll go to the library to bribe the Librarian with a dryad seed and ask for a book on Dryad care.
>>
>>23152136
Bring her back anyway.
>>
>>23152136
"Thanks dad."

>>

I wanna see the gate.

In seriousness, though, lets go bribe the librarian, look up dryads, and plan for the Lotus meeting thing later.

How much longer until Lotus meeting by the way?
>>
>>23152136

To the library!
>>
>>23152136
Ask him to make sure we weren't followed, if he can.

Then I guess we leave our stuff here and it's off to the library to bribe the librarian and read up on dryads.
>>
>>23152136
"Well, so much for that then. Could you rig up a place to grow one of them? And maybe some other stuff too. Can't hurt to have a food supply.

Anyway, we're off to the library to read up a bit and get on the old lady's good side. Later."

Make sure to bring the library books with us to return.
>>
>>23151779
At some point we should get a nice leather choker/slave collar for Liz.

I bet she'd love that!
>>
Go to library. Take seeds. Take weapons. Take the girls.
>>
>>23152136
I guess we try to grow the seeds in the garden, while retaining one or two to bribe the librarian with.
>>
>>23152136
Don't bring her back to life. Lets just put our stuff away and plop down in an obscure unwarded location for our bro to find.
>>
>>23152136
I say we bring her back anyways. We can be the one who helps rehabilitate her since this is partially our fault to begin with.

She can tend to our garden and help raise her daughters.
>>
>>23152136
How are the wards staying charged right now? Has dad been taking care of it?
>>
No bringing her back, that would go horribly wrong.

Just plant the seeds, that's all we can do for her which won't result in an abomination against nature eating our flesh.
>>
>>23152136
Ask him how to find books in the library.

Go there, see that woman, say something like "as I've been rude during our first meeting, and in thanks for your valuable help in the past and the future, I wanted to offer you this Dryad seed".
>>
>>23152136
Don't bring her back. It's a terrible idea. We'll grow her daughters.

Ask Liz/Lin if they would mind if we gave Breakfast some attention and our cock, she's been a good girl and deserves a reward.

After a proper dick sucking take ONE seed and hit the library, we should have Liz stay here and study, have our dad help her with Conjuration. No reason for her to go out again.
>>
>>23152174
In case it wasn't clear enough I was joking. I don't really want her back. I'd rather go for Sam.
>>
so if we give the librarian 1 seed we have 4 seeds left right?
>>
>>23152136
Better to not bring her back, it just isn't workable honestly.
Anyway, we should get ready to go to the Lotus.
>>
>>23152174
>How much longer until Lotus meeting by the way?

We don't know. We were told we'd just be found at the right time.
>>
>>23152219
Yes. And his summonings have been powered by recharging with Breakfast.
>>
>>23152226
I wasn't joking when I say we bring her back since the fact that we got her killed makes me feel shitty, though it looks like I'm outnumbered on this one.

I also have zero interest in Sam, so there's that.
>>
>>23152136
So.. Dying. Not a good thing to do.
When we hook up with Lotus-bros we use the attack on the dorms as all the proof needed that we need to get some help in mojo and protection.
>>
>>23152234
Three, actually. The fish man and Sam each took one.
>>
>>23152267
Which means if we took two with us to the library - one for the librarian and one for resurrection, we would still have one left over for growing.

Just sayin, guys.
>>
Maybe give the librarian more seeds later on instead of planting them? Quad bribes, yo.
>>
>>23152292

>>
>>23152136

"I have a Librarian to persuade, in any case. I should get going."

>>23152256
You're not outnumbered in sentiment, it's just that it's impractical and apparently rather pointless for the most part. We'd literally be pulling an Edward to the letter from what it seems like.

>>
>>23152292
We are not using one for resurrection. There are way too many fucking ways for that to go bad.

And we can plant 3 of them and harvest the seeds afterwards. Be this place's dryad supplier.

And give Breakfast our cock after getting Liz's permission, she's been obedient and good, we shouldn't neglect our pet.
>>
>>23152318
I gotta say, wood-ass isn't very appealing. At least not until we get Lotus Steel Skin.

I ain't want o dick splinters.
>>
Has it not occurred to people that some of the seeds might not grow.

That's how it works with a lot of plants, and it will be a bit shit if we give away all but one and then it just dies.

Just give the Librarian one, we can plant the rest.
>>
>>23152333
The dryad girl wasn't wooden though, as I recall she just had plants for hair.
>>

I have an idea for bribing the librarian (and the other teachers).

-Alchemy up some gold/jewels/something to sell.
-Dad teleports to a city to sell it.
-"Hello Ms [librarians name here], would you like this 1901 vintage wine? I hear it was a very good year."

Also, this gives us an income we can use to buy other things.
>>
>>23152310

Maybe we can reach a compromise. Lets ask if theres some kind of spell we can use to reincarnate her in one of her seeds so that she doesnt undergo the trauma of resurrection but is still her old self so to speak, even if she doesnt remember her old life at first.

How do we keep getting in these arguments.
I mean really. Odds are OP's going to use the same personality for either one if we succeed, and fuck us all over horribly if the rez fails. What's the point.
>>
>>23152494
No, I mean the whole "plant seeds of a dead girl and harvest her kids for money" thing, etc.
>>
>>23152496
It's like precautions don't exist in your relm.
>>
>>23152470

this is why i love /tg/ and many players in a thread.
>>
>>23152526
Oh, no, that's just fucking dumb. If it were that lucrative or effective a method of making money someone would have already done it and crashed the market anyway.
>>
>>23152470
Once again as one of the people in favor of resurrection, I really am hoping for the best for her even though I know we will get the worst because femCOCK is a wonderfully cruel DM.

Speaking of, keep up the hard choices, femCOCK, my biggest problem with most quests is how everything goes perfectly for the protagonist.
>>
>>23152526
We're not harvesting her kids for money.

We're keeping them and making use of anything that might happen to drop for alchemy, like girlcum.
>>
>>23152555
There's still the "grown your own sex slave" angle
>>
>>23152526
Well I imagine seeds are removable from the dryad without hurting her and if not, I wouldn't go for it.
>>
>>23152467
I'm seriously not trolling, I'm trying to make the fun choice.
>>
>>23152526
Oh yeah, we're totally going to do that if it's practical and feasible. If extracting the seeds from her kids while not harming them is possible we can do that, make more of them, keep a good breeding population, train them properly, and either sell dryad seeds or loyal dryad cocksuckers to interested parties.
>>
>>23152562
FemCock was perfectly happy with having Max shot and killed right there with the Dextra girl.

I think we can conclude that things won't always go perfectly for Max. Which is all the more reason not to do something so fucking stupid as messing with high level, dangerous magic when we're not even a firsty.

As a fellow white knight i have to say there is no good reason to res her right now. We know nothing of whatever afterlife there is here. She could be in some sort of dryady heaven right now. Resurrecting her is guaranteed to cause severe psychological harm to her.
>>
>>23152577
Well of course we're going to grow one. We're just not going to make a fucking farm.

And can we consider, maybe, raising her as a person? Just a bit? Mindless fucktoys are not a turn on for me.

"Could you try to set up some kind of garden? Maybe take over those jail sells down in the basement?" you ask, leaving behind three of the seeds and pocketing one.

"I'll see what I can do," your dad says.

You, Liz, and Lin then haul ass to the library. You don't run in to any trouble along the way. When you head in through the library doors, the librarian looks up and glares at you. "What do you want NOW?"

"I brought you a bribe," you say, holding up the large, shiny red seed. "And I'm hoping you can help me find a book."

Her demeanor changes instantly. She takes the seed from you with her bony, claw-like hands, smiling at you warmly. "Of course, deary, what are you looking for?"

"A book on growing dryads," says Liz.

"Oh, of course you would be," says the Librarian. "Do come along and we'll find you something nice."

She does end up finding you a book detailing dryad physiology, life cycles, and gardening. It's big, thick, and detailed, but puts things into understandable terms with detailed descriptions. Liz stashes it in her bag after checking out, and then you feel a tap on your shoulder.

"It's time," says Dane from behind you. "Max, Lin, you should come with me and I'll introduce you to everyone. Elizabeth, you should go home or something. You don't get to come with us."

>>

We're not growing slaves, damnnit! If we raise them as fucktoys, what use will they be in the long run? We're swimming in poon already, but having an INTELLIGENT dryad on our side is far more valuable.
That's not so say we're not going to fuck her at all, of course. It'll just be because we romanced her prickly panties off, not because she literally can't understand not fucking.
>>
>>23152975
There's still no practical benefit to it and a lot of risks. Why bother?

>>23152970
Exactly. We'll make them smart, independent, useful, but they'll also just fuck us a lot and take care of our garden.
>>
>>23152983
Let me set this straight guys. If we are growing a dryad around women who are sex slaves, what makes you think that raising a child in that environment wouldn't have detrimental psychological effects? She is going to be raised fucked up regardless how we do it.
>>
"Can you get back okay?" you ask Liz.

"Sure," she says, looking a little nervous. "Maybe give me one of those guns, though? Just in case."

"Of course," you say, then hand her one of the pistols. She gives you a hug, the scurries out of the library.

"Well, now then, follow me," says Dane, taking the lead. "Try to remember the path, but you probably won't get it on your first try."

He leads you through a series of bridges, pasasges, through a few buildings, and through winding, twisting alleys. Finally, after a long-ass trip, Dane stops in front of a natural stone wall with a door-sized red rectangle painted on it. "Yes, the wall is solid stone," Dane begins. "Lotus members can walk through the red door as if it was air. The red door is an illusion that only Lotus members can see, rather than being hidden by an illusion. Go ahead," he says.

You walk up to the red rectangle and press against it. It responds much like the tower's wards when you have the key, providing a moment of resistance, then letting you through. Inside, you see a long entrance hall. It has hard wooden floors, a rock garden in the center, wooden benches, simple stone carvings on the walls, and a pile of shoes by the entrance. The smell of incense hangs in the air, and you can hear chimes and chanting in the distance.

"Wow," says Lin, stepping through behind you.

"Yeah, nicer than squatting in some ruins in a giant cave," says Dane.

What do you do now?
>>
>>23152983

>>
>>23153000

>>
>>23153011
Follow Dane. Let's get the initiation over with.
>>
For context, when raised from the dead, someone has 1 in all three of their stats and 0 in all of their magic stats. That's when the resurrection is successful, not when it fails. Resurrecting things from the dead fucks it up royally - this is what your dad meant when he said recovery would take at least years, and that they might never recover.
>>
>>23153011
Take our shoes off and leave them in the pile, then ask him what we're going to do today, I guess.

>>23153058

>>23153085
There's still no fucking point to it. None at all.
>>
>>23153085
Using a seed as a focus just makes you more likely to succeed. Usually, trying to raise something from the dead creates and aggressive zombie that's very hard to make stay dead.
>>
>>23153011
Remove shoes, this place is clearly a dojo.

Then follow Dane wherever he leads for the moment, not like we have anything better to do.

>>23153103
There's no fixing Breakfast. We can give her enough presence of mind to cook and clean and follow orders properly, maybe a bit of independence so she does her chores without us having to order her to. But no more, we give her too much back it might backfire on us and I don't want a potential double agent in our tower. And we ought to do it again, better than killing them if we have the choice, and we need Lunch and so on.

We won't raise them as slaves, but we will mold them to be the most useful to us and obedient, we want intelligence, inventiveness, and a bit of independence, just all of it loyal to us and our cock.

Stop having morals, they get in the way at Scholomance.

>>23153104
That's the best fucking case scenario.

She's not related, and we're not going to be pressing her into it (or at least that's how I'd vote for it to go). >>
>>23153275
We didn't mindbreak them, our dad did, and we didn't know he was going to do it.

Our reaction to it wasn't exactly good, considering how little we seemed to care, but we didn't actively tell him to mindbreak her.
>>
You take off your shoes and follow Dane deeper into the Lotus sanctum. At the end of the hall, there are doors that open into a large, high-ceiling room. Front and center, there is an altar with burning incense, and an old white man leading a chant with nearly fifty people kneeling before him. Off to one side, you realize that what you once thought were chimes are actually people striking massive bells with bare hands hard enough to leave them swinging. In one corner, a group of students sit in a circle, chatting. Some adults stand in another, some gesticulating aggressively as they talk.

"Well, here we are," says Dane. "I'm going to go meditate up front. Feel free to look around, talk to people, it's pretty chill. Most of these guys have already graduate, dropped out, or failed out, so you don't really need to worry about running into competition. Come get me if you need any help with anything."

Then Dane pads off and kneels down, beginning the simple chant as he meditates.

That's where I'm ending it for tonight.

>>23153275
Arguably not on purpose. Also, my goal is still to found a less insane rival school.

>>23153249
Let me correct that. Stop having morals that go beyond our immediate group. Or at the very least stop letting moral sensibilities get in the way of pragmatism. White knighting things is annoying and likely to get us killed.

If we need more girls to drain we get another girl to drain and make her into Lunch. If we need to kill someone to stay alive we do so.

Well, that is clearly not foreboding or something to be concerned about at all. Nope.

Just an FYI the current record for running a quest on successive days without stopping is 38.

Not yet, seeing as we have shown legitimate remorse for it, are out for revenge, and are doing our best to set things as right as possible.
I still say resurrect because she will be functionally the same as a newborn and I'm a big blubbering vagina.

Many thanks, FemCock. Sleep well. I look forward to tomorrow's quest.

Not the same as a newborn. She might never relearn anything and she'll always be dysfunctional in some way even if she does. She could turn out to be a vegetable.

In Scholomance, there are no good guys or villains
There are only the dead, the drop-outs and the winners
>>
>>23153299
What other solution do you have for this?

Dad needs sex to fuel the wards and to keep himself in prime condition to help us with things, teach us what we need to know, and pimp our crib. Either he could fuck/drain us or L&L, not a long term option at all.

Bringing someone in from outside is risky and required a lot of teleportation.

>>23153394
If Liz gets jumped on the way back I'll get to say I called it. I did say to have Liz stay here and study instead of bringing her with us. We seem to have been too busy shouting down the dumb ass suggestion of resurrecting planttits.

>>23153440
We're a person. We have goals that we need to achieve, tools at our disposal to carry them out, and if we don't amass power through whatever means we can we'll end up dead. Fuck your black and white villain/hero bullshit. We take care of our people and that's all.

>>23153470
She won't be the same as a new born. If, and that's a big if, she comes out as best as she possibly can she'll be a mentally crippled horrifically traumatized dryad who will be difficult if not impossible to treat and suck lots of time and effort for minimal gain. There's no benefit, lots of downsides. Also, she might come back as a zombie tree and eat our face.
>>
>>23153526
I imagine both will either have roughly the same time investment involved or one will take a lot more effort but have a much bigger payoff. For example, proper rehabilitation might give her crazy beyond the Gate powers but be next to impossible to pull off.

Whatever the end result is, I will not deny that growth is undoubtedly safer, I'm just willing to take the risk because I'm an emotional faggot like that.
>>
>>23153537
>She won't be the same as a new born.
Newborn is an entirely different person. By functionally the same I was referring to stats. Whether we resurrect her or grow her childrens, the end result is still that we have just entered into the Chocobo Raising/Monster Rancher minigame sidequest.
>>
>>23153537
>If Liz gets jumped on the way back
I swear to god if this turns into some Dextra Domini hostage situation bullshit I'm gonna have a heart attack and blame everyone bitching about an obvious issue in resurrection of plant tits for it happening. This black-and-white moral slapfighting bullshit is half the reason we're having such bad shit happen to us. People getting their sphincters twisted over a fictional moral conflict over every little non-LG thing we do is getting fucking old. People fighting over "I HATE YOUR FETISH MINE IS SUPERIOR" and "WE HAVE TO BE THE ULTIMATE HERO AND SAVE EVERYONE WE SEE" are what's dragging these threads down in quality. We need to pick our allies, add new ones carefully, and stick to protecting what we have, instead of being the bestest moral compass ever and trying to win everything. It's clear from how FemCOCK is running this quest that there is no way in hell that we can brute-force our way into nobody dying, and we sure as hell aren't going to keep our hands clean when handling our conflicts. We're going to have to be ready to snap some necks and break some minds if we don't want this quest to end with "I FUCKING TOLD YOU WHITEKNIGHTING FAGS THIS WOULD HAPPEN" and "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT BECAUSE YOU RAPED X AND NOT Y" being thrown at each other while Max is dead on a crucifix with his innards spilled on the ground.
>>
>>23153627
Lot easier to raise them from kids, for one thing there's no risk of them being horrific undead abominations that want to eat our cock, in the chewing sense, not the erotic sense.

Growing them is easier, makes them easier to mold to our purposes and lets us water them with our cum which is good.

>>23153742
I agree with you completely. I said not to take Liz with us, and people just kept on bickering about how they wanted to resurrect their plant waifu, who by the way we have NEVER talked to, and it got passed over.

Is it too much to ask for /tg/ to tone down their white knighting and moral compasses so we don't get fucked over?
>>
>>23153841
>Is it too much to ask for /tg/ to tone down their white knighting and moral compasses so we don't get fucked over?
Yes. People seem to think that Scholomance is a nobledark setting. It's not.
>>
>>23153841
>Growing them is easier
I also said that. I freely acknowledge that any and all desires to resurrect the dryad are borne entirely out of sentimentality and I know its probably the worst idea, but I still want to try it. I guess that's why I'm not entirely upset that /tg/ disagrees with me.

For the record, I also voted to leave Liz at home, so you cant blame that one on me.
>>

I was picturing Overlord Zetta

>breakfast
>it's fiiiine she's totally evil because that's a thing that matters and this is a world of black and white alignments and we totally aren't affirming anything by being assholes
>a dryad dies
>THIS IS A TRAVESTY KILL EVERYTHING AND DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO FIX IT
>>
>>23153906
Seriously, Scholomance is a flat-out dark setting, and any sense of moral compass if purely self-sustained and arguably subjective. Every single group here believes they are the good ones, and everyone that goes against them are the evil ones. People are sectioned off into groups based on upbringing and birthright, not right and wrong. We have to do what's necessary to get away with as much beneficial shit while taking the least direct consequences as possible.

A girl we didn't even talk to got her mind broken, and saved our dad from possibly going utterly insane. Fucking good, I'm glad it happened. Dad has been immensely helpful, and him conjuring that ammunition may just save Liz's life if some shit goes screwy next thread, something we wouldn't have if we still had him locked away in a cell screaming for sustenance.

Three people we never talked to, even in passing, are dead because we saved our dad. One of them was mildly interesting because she was a dryad and might have been a fun character. Oh well, shit happens. We did the next best thing by taking her seeds and using them to both our benefit as well as preserving them so that her lineage can live on in her offspring. That's shit you can't do for a normal human, and short of burying the dryad in the soil where she was born, it's the kindest gesture we could give to her. By all accounts, if we ever get contact from her parents or whatever, there's a good chance that if they learn that her seeds had been planted and are growing, they'll cry in joy that their daughter's life wasn't completely wasted.

The point is that we're doing the best we can with the punches thrown at us. We're actually being very kindhearted, despite not shooting for the moon in all our endeavors. By no accounts are we being evil or inconsiderate of others. Our father mindbreaking that girl wasn't explicitly condoned, and we had no in-character knowledge it would happen. Complain if you must, but stay your bleeding hearts.
>>
>>23153906
It's the furthest thing from that. A little trust goes a long way, the less you use the further you'll go.

Moralfaggotry and white knighting will get us killed.

>>23153927
What sentimentality? We literally never fucking talked to her, we saw her in passing ONCE.

That isn't sentimentality, you just like tree chicks, which is perfectly alright, but come on.

>>23154120
I figured he'd do something like that and take a girl back with him. I said something to that effect, of how he'll be bringing a girl back with him as the alternatives were killing her for no reason.

And we shouldn't tell her parents about that, we won't necessarily be doing wholesome things with their grandkids, you know, raising them on a steady diet of our cock, making them loyal to us, using them as tools, maybe farming Dryad seeds and exchanging those for favors and aid.
>>
>>23154108
That's /tg/'s natural kneejerk WHITE KNIGHT MUST PROTECT PRETTY GIRL response. It ranks up there with the BIG RED BUTTON response in how easy it is to lead /tg/ around with it and how easy it is to make it backfire.
>>
>>23154173
>What sentimentality?
The fact that she died more or less directly because of us and because there was a small chance of setting things right for her, not just her children.

If it was just me having a thing for tree chicks, why would I want to take the action that is way less likely to lead to twin dryad blowjobs?
>>
>>23154173
>moralfaggotry and white knighting will get us killed

And being a faggot will make us a faggot. Being a murderhobo will make us a shitty character, and will make the quest shit as it eventually becomes about "what depraved shit can we do now pretending it to be 'necessary to survive'".

16 fucking years old. 2 days into this school, 0 fucking sense. Congratulations, we are officially worse characters than the kids in Lord of the Flies.

"But I used the words Moralfaggotry and White Knight! That negative connotation puts me in the right!"
>>
>>23154173
I'm sure most people were expecting him to bring back his catch, but I don't think many were expecting him to tear apart her psyche. That was the detail that caught people unaware. Notice how nobody had a single complaint about him keeping his prey, just that he broke her mind so violently. I think some people came in here expecting the fetishes to be more straightforward and morally exclusive, like straight-up BDSM, futa cock, femdom, also monstergirls. The fact that incest, mindbreak, and indiscriminate murder have cropped up is setting people off badly. We need to make it known, either through communal effort, or through word of FemCOCK, that the excessive morality arguments need to stop when they don't concern some huge decision, like how to bind our father with a blood pact.

We need to stuff away our sentimentalism when it comes to people we haven't interacted with yet. We need to stop trying to be the ultimate DC Comic hero with pulling resurrection before we've even formally begun our training in magic. We need to stop worrying about if people we don't know (and probably never will) in this gigantic academic system will like our private and secret actions or not. They are not judging us, they don't even know we're doing any of this shit. None of it has been implicated against us, and none of the deaths, as horrible as this is to say, are our fault. At all. They can all be traced back to dad. Dad decided to kidnap the wrong girl because he has a deep-seated hatred for Dextra Domini, and he kicked up the shitstorm. That's his fault. He knew she was Dextra Domini. He could have taken someone less inflammatory as a target. Absolutely none of his actions, aside from allowing him to leave to hunt, are our fault, at all. Blame him for doing that. Get mad and yell at him for the death of those three, because HE IS THE ONE that made it look like a DD newcomer was brutally beaten/murdered and then kidnapped.
>>
>>23154357
There's are thick lines between being a white knight, continuing on our well-meaning course, and being KING ANARCHIST MCBACKSTABS.
>>
>>23154393
Not on /tg/, apparently.
>>
>>23154377
What else would he have done to his catch? Not breaking her wasn't an option. It simply wasn't. If you thought about it that's the only thing he really could have done afterwards, that or killing her, and that just means he'd have to do it again and cause more waves.

>>23154357
I never said we should be a random murderhobo. I'm saying we can't keep being overly concerned with the welfare of those outside of our circles.

We have our people, we have our goals, we try not to cause too many waves or bring the hammer down on us, we don't go kicking puppies for no reason.

And resurrecting planttits because we feel sorry for her might get us killed, going on a crusade against Dextra because they killed some folks will get us killed, there's lots of ways that being morally upstanding can off us.
>>
>>23154357
Who said anything about us being a murderhobo? We need to accept our limits and keep ourselves safe, not stir up shit by murdering DD members back, and not get ourselves killed trying to attempt the practically impossible because it makes us feel better about things that aren't actually directly our fault. We need to treat those that benefit us with care, and decide the rest on a circumstantial basis.

Right now, our allies are our most valuable asset, followed by building up ties with the Lotus, followed by keeping our eyes peeled on-grounds and not drawing attention to ourselves, followed by getting some under-the-table good graces with the faculty of the school, THEN followed by giving a shit about people that are perfectly innocent, but neither beneficial nor detrimental to us. We're going to have to walk a big, fat, ugly gray line to make it to the end of this quest as Max, and it's going to eventually be frustrating for everyone at some point or another.

Every person in here is going to eventually get choked up or hung up on one particular moment, and we're going to dislike how it was handled. What we need to put importance on is whether or not working to fix the problem, or better the consequence is worth the effort in keeping Max alive and ahead of the game, as well as fulfilling our long-term goals like keeping Liz alive long enough to make her Archmage. We're going to have to do a whole mess of various things to make it to the end; we're going to have to attempt the impossible to save our friends, pass a blind eye over the terrible things that happen to others, and we're going to probably have to backstab at least a couple of relative bystanders or one of the faculty at some point.
>>
>>23154524
look we get a nice computer and a fancy book scanner the kind that do not hurt bindings no matter how big the book is then scan every book in the library a few at a time

use mind magic to get us on that shuttle to mars in 20+ years and build our one school on the red planet with a gate back to the school a kind one wear we actually help people.

then leave a nice 120+ mega tone present for theses ass hats

all of this means we need to survive can't save everyone and will probable kill mindfuck and worse to others but its for the greater good of magic kind
>>
>>23154524
>Not breaking her wasn't an option.
No, you're right in that regard. I think it's just people didn't react well to how suddenly and violently she was broken. It felt less like winning a fight against her to have her already broken when she came within our influence. I think it actually, stupidly enough, would have gone over better if we just fucked her stupid in the cellar until she grew to like it, rather than force her to like it by tearing her psyche apart. That's the specific detail that I think set off a lot of people. That went beyond living out horrible fetishes and barged in on people's comfort zones on a more human level. The act of breaking her like that, in and of itself, was very brutal and makes the human mind look like god damn wet newspaper. It didn't particularly bug me, because I have horrible, awful, morally devoid fetishes that I entertain on a daily basis, but I can sympathize with those that were disturbed by it.
>>
>>23154524
>Not breaking her wasn't an option.
I think people were expecting a slightly more gentle and less thorough breaking. I cant really say though because I didn't get too hung up on what he did even if it was a touch too extreme for my tastes, so I didn't really participate in that discussion.
