“Hm... Fine. I can definitely see your point in this. But I probably would like something that could help me out for such a quest.” You tell her.

“Well... The only thing I’ve really got that is of critical use is basically the culture my subrace has. In all likelihood the Okarians probably have my library still up and running, or at least a library where they keep all their things into.” Oksana says.

“Yea, Mina said something about the Okarians having a library. They’re also rather secretive about it.” you tell her.

“...Oh dear they’re doing it again...” Oksana sighs.

“Doing what?” you ask.

“Well... Even before the Pride Demons came, many Okarians... Well spellcasters in nature almost, are very secretive in nature. This is part of a reason why I didn’t learn many rituals, as they were too damn hard to acquire.” Oksana says.

“Well that’s dumb. Why are they sitting on a massive treasure trove of knowledge while only letting selective people in?” you ask.

“...Well probably too reasons. First being is power. Second is that probably Okarians were worried about other clans or demons becoming stronger, since we didn’t have much outside of our magic, third is probably they didn’t want anyone else part of their special clique. ...At least I think so. All I know is while I was in charge Okarians tolerated others inside of their libraries, but they didn’t like anyone else being there.” Oksana says.

“So they’re all power grubbing bitches?” you ask.

“Oh no! They’re... Well many Okarians come from the previous magic clan of Succubi that existed before I became a Queen. Their social structure is fairly similar to the Greed Demons, and those guys hardly let ANYONE learn their magic.” Oksana says. “Many Okarians are probably doing it for tradition. But bottom line is, you’re an Okarian. If the library exists, then I bet my life that there is someone inside who can verify if you’re an Okarian.”

“So they’ll let me in after?” you ask.

“Oh yea, they’ll let you in.” Oksana says. “They’ll probably get to like you more if you contribute something new to the Okarian Community or something very valuable. Like a new spell, comprised spellbook, a paper on magical theory, a long lost tomb of knowledge, rare magical ingredients. Blizzarios’s armour MAY impress them. A Pride Demon’s armour is definitely a prize regardless of rank. They just may debate on whenever or not they should keep it as Blizzarios’s family will attempt to hunt down the armour after they learn he’s dead.”

“Anything else that I can do that could impress them?” you ask.

“The ritual use to summon projections of us. Though that’s quite dangerous to hand out due to obvious reasons.” Oksana says.

“Yea no kidding.” you reply.

Once I get full access to the Langy library I might be able to copy some books from there that'll be impressive enough. Blizzarios's armor is a bit risky, hard to transport, and directly implicates me in his death which I might not want.

I'll have to play it by ear once I get to the point where I feel safe going off and visiting New T.O., and once this place has settled down enough that I can leave it and the people in it to their own devices."

“Yea no way in hell I’d be giving people this ritual. Far too risky. Blizzarios’s armour is far too large, bulky, and directly links me with his death.” you tell Oksana.

“Well if you want, you could learn the metaphysical process to bind items to yourself, use your shapechanging to make it alter shape, and then transport it that way. Granted since it wasn’t originally designed for shapeshifting, it’d have an upper and lower limit, but it’s one way.” Oksana tells you.

“...Wait what?” you ask her.

“Oh yea. Just put it on. You should feel as if your own aether is being shared with it. After a few minutes, the armour will metaphyiscally become yours. ...Though granted it will still physically be owned by Blizzarios’s family house and doing such a thing would be seen as a grave insult towards his family. But if you want some articulated plate for armour, by all means.” Oksana says.

“...Huh...” you say to yourself, thinking of the possible risks and rewards of such a thing. “I’ll have to play it by ear once I get to the point where I feel safe visiting new T.O. Probably once this place as settled down enough to the point where I can just leave and let people do things as they please without them blowing up the place. ...By the way. You’ve been in that prison for 300 years. Why haven’t you made any new rituals?”

“I made the one you’re using to communicate with me right now. Really that’s only an improvised one. You could in theory modify this spell so you’d be able to do long distance communication with anyone. I just took that ritual and ‘programmed’ some extras into it so that it’d get past the Astral Prison’s safeguards. Rituals often need some work and reference material. I didn’t have the luxury of bringing in that many magic books with me to the prison.” Oksana replies.

Would it be possible to modify a summoning ritual to get past the wards in the same way she modified the communication ritual? Summoning a Queen would be pretty fucking hard but it still sounds easier than breaking the prison completely. Summon one, slap her or something that counts as an attack so she's free to leave the circle, spend a couple of days recharging and then repeat.

“How hard would it be to modify the ritual?” you ask Oksana.

“Not really that hard. It is classified as a high level mortal ritual, but for us demons it is fairly simple. It is mostly related to the space section if that helps. Personally I’d like to see if you can crack it on your own. Since the spell is common and simple, it shouldn’t be hard for someone like you to figure it out given enough work. Though if you consider to hard, I can tell you it.” Oksana says. “Think of it like a baby step on to figuring out how to design your own rituals some day.”

“Would such a ritual be obvious?” you ask.

“Anyone within earshot on the receiving end yes.” Oksana replies. “There is also danger of people tracking it. But still it is incredibly useful. Higher level versions of it make sure that only one person can hear it.”

“Could you show me the magic books?” you ask Oksana.

“Oh of course!” Oksana reaches into her robe, you pull out a thick yellow book. “This book is an introduction to Cyber Control! A form of magic I was working on before the Pride demons attacked.”

“Cyber Control?” you ask.

“Well... A more specialized version of Wind Control’s electronic control feature. You’d probably find some other controls. Things like Blood Control or Ice Control. Normally those two would be folded into water control, but those things are rather specialized and often cut to some features quicker than their parent control, and often do it in a more specialized manner.” Oksana says. “There’s literally dozens upon dozens of other controls. Usually those with a specialized tasks with take the specialized controls.” Oksana says.

“Interesting, but given the lack of technology it probably wouldn’t be immediately useful. Do you have anything else?” you ask her.

“Of course!” Oksana says putting the books away and taking out two more. One book is named, ‘Rebel’s Cookbook’, looking to be fairly modern. The other is called, ‘Speculative Nature into Zero-Point Systems’ that looks to be fairly old.

“The first one is a specialized book on how to make and use explosive spells and magical items. The latter is the book I used to make the prison in the first place.” Oksana says. “Bit advanced, but certainly rather enlightening.”

“Definitely let me read the Rebel’s Cookbook when I visit you next time. That sounds like for an entertaining read.” you tell Oksana. “But for now, let’s just go over my notes one last time.”

For about the next hour, you and Oksana pour over your notes. She really helps break it down for you, especially in terms of the language. Most of your notes was pretty good, but there were quite a few very important lines that were seemingly hidden originally. You thank Oksana for the help, in where she disappears back to the prison again.

You decide to let the information Oksana just told you simmer a tiny bit. So instead you decide to practice your darkness control a bit, trying to see how much fine control you can get it to have. Using your darkness tentacles, you manage to clean up the mess from the ritual AND make your bed in a neat and tidy fashion. You discover that it is easier to make the darkness tentacles do very precise manipulation better than the light control can do... at least at your current skill. You soligrams are precise too, but you can make your darkness tentacles break up into small tendrils probably no more than a hairs width. They’re fairly strong despite their size, and easily allow you to do things like neatly comb your hair or stir tea.

After a nice cup of tea, you decide to head out to see the last student of the day, Amanda. You switch into your Sara persona, grab your notes this time, and head off towards the bath house.

When you arrive, you can see Amanda just leaving the counter from where she works and another person getting into her place. Amanda seems to instantly recognize you. “Ah! Lady Sara! You’ve arrived!” she says, still dressed in her white dress work clothes.

“Ah! Sorry if I came too early! It seems as if you’re still in your work clothes!” you say, apologizing to her.

“Oh no! Don’t worry! Nothing wrong at all! In fact this is somewhat of a good fortune! Please! Just wait here for a bit while I go get my clothes!” Amanda says as she leads you to a seat, before heading into an employee’s only room.

You take a seat, looking around the lobby area. You know it’s only when you really sit down and take it in that you notice all the small details. Apparently this place is modelled after a Roman bath house, complete with faded out Latin and the bases of the pillars. They’re mainly praises to Poseidon and other various water deities of the time.

You don’t have much time to read however, as Amanda comes back out of the employee’s only entrance while still dressed in her outfit. “Sorry for the wait Sara dear! Come! Let me show you around the place!”

Amanda takes your hand, almost pulling you into the employee’s only entrance. You can tell she’s eager by her grip, but her pace is slow enough to make sure that no one else sees her as too eager.

The first room beyond the Employee room is nothing special. It is literally a carbon copy of the changing rooms for the baths. Most likely the changing room.

The door beyond the changing room however is like stepping into another world. While the white marble hallway seems to be rather cramped, it only due to the mulitude of gifts that align the corridor. Many of these gifts appear to be from tribes or villages nearby. Some of them being a rare old world treasure such as a gold Mircroprocessor, others are mastercrafted weapons hung on the wall, while some are the heads of Wild Beasts that even the Red Fox Inn doesn’t have. Plush red carpet can be felt as you take off your boots and follow Amanda down the hall.

“Wow... This is a wonderful place you have here Amanda.” you honestly say. You could study some of these things for days if you wanted to.

“Well when you’re in a family such as mine, these gifts are only a trifle matter compared to supplying one’s lifeblood!” Amanda says as she leads you down the hall.

Without warning, Amanda then ducks down a hall, grabbing your arm and nearly pulling it off (figuratively) as she pulls you to a door.

“Aman-” Amanda then covers your mouth to cover up the shock.

“Quiet! Listen! My father took the key for the basement with him! He’s not home right now, and I’d rather not ask my Uncle for the key!” Amanda says before pointing to a large, cast iron door behind her. “The chamber is behind that door. Can you do some sort of spell to unlock it?”

You turn on your aura sight, seeing that Amanda’s current aura is a bright red (anger) colour. You can also feel the spicy taste on your tongue.

“I-I could if I wanted to yes. But part of me is surprised why you don’t have the key.” you tell Amanda.

“That was before I knew my father was called on an emergency trip to a nearby village to do business! He left this morning before I even woke up. While I’m able to take the key from him for short periods on the claim that it helps calm me, my Uncle isn’t as... willing to part with the key without asking why. He’d know that you’re here to come down with me, bar us from going down there, and then set up some people to constantly look at the entrance of this place!” Amanda says, her aura burning into an even brighter red. “Please! I beg you Lady Sara! Unlock the door so we don’t have to deal with that stupid oaf!”

Speaking of her initiative, if learning magic is a common thing that all the noble kids do to one-up each other like Erica said then it can't be that hard to find a teacher. Given how incredibly ambitious she is, I find it hard to believe she waited so long to try and learn. I'm guessing she already has some magical knowledge that she's hiding from us.

Yeah, if we can see the other side we can just shadow jump through the door (and possibly take Amanda with us, it doesn't have a carry weight limit specified or anything). Given how many of our abilities only work within line of sight the ability to bend light and see around corners and stuff is incredibly useful.

“Pity... I guess the more vulgar method will do.” you sigh. You then look at a dark corner of the room. A single tendril comes out, slithering its way to the door.

“W-wa!? What the...” Amanda gasps while trying to keep her voice down.

“A simple trick for someone of my abilities.” you say as you make the tip of the tendril spread out into nearly a dozen tiny strands. It is a bit try to navigate. You cannot see inside of the lock, so you’re forced to hunch near the door and listen. While picking the door, you don’t see anything like magical traps on the iron door. After about a minute, you can hear a click, followed by a loud clunk. You carefully push open the door with your darkness tentacle.

The only thing you can see on the other side is a small desk with some paperwork, a collection of fresh, unlit torches, and long and wide pathway carved out of the rock itself, spiralling down into the Earth.

“M-my Lady Sara... I had no idea you were capable of such things.” Amanda gasps as she sees the tentacle of darkness vanish.

“No need to be impressed.” you say laughing nervously. “It’s really only a simple trick.”

“Simple or not, I consider it extremely impressive...” Amanda says as she seems to approach you a bit more carefully. She grabs a fresh torch from the rack, lighting it with the burning torch nearby. “Come along then Lady Sara, I’ll show you perhaps the greatest treasure the Richardson family has to offer.”

You and Amanda descend down the stairwell. You can see that is rather dark heading down. No other torches are able to be hung up of the side of the walls. The width of these stairs is such that a group of about five people could walk side by side with ease. You notice that the pathway itself is very smooth, to the point where you are easily able to walk using your bare feet. The temperature is pleasantly warm as well. The walk with Amanda down the stairs is very quiet except for the sound of your feet and the smell of the burning torch.

What does surprise you is how deep this goes. You’ve been walking for nearly 10 minutes, and still nothing but hallway. “Um... Lady Sara. I don’t mean to be a bother, but how deep is this?”

“We’re probably about halfway down. The spring is rather deep in the Earth. The Richardson family only paid off the demonic work force who craved this pathway for us only 20 years ago.

“Wow... I didn’t know the hot spring would be down this far...” you say as you continue to climb down.

“Yes, it is a fair distance down I must admit.” Amanda replies. “Getting barrels of water up to the top is even more problematic. Though the Richardson youth do often like to amuse themselves by rolling barrels down this slope.”

“Aw...” you say, putting a mental image in your mind of how much Brothen would enjoy rolling a barrel down this slope.

The temperature continues to steadily increase as you go down. You begin to sweat a bit as the temperature rises. You unbotton your jacket as you can feel beads of sweat roll down your face. The feeling of your sweaty breasts bouncing each step is more digusting rather than pleasurable. Steam even starts to appear as you continue to go down. Amanda seems to be hardly flinched by it, but you can certainly feel it.

“And... Here we are.” Amanda says reaching the bottom of the slope. “I... apologize for the lack of lighting here. But trust me when I say this underground cavern is massive.”

You’re able to see just fine due to your darkness sight, and Amanda isn’t lying about that. You literally gasp at the sheer size of the place. The roof is in a dome like shape, going up nearly 25 meters above your head. The bit of solid ground you’re on right now is a ‘small’ shelf of rock which is amply large enough. The centerpiece of this though is a simply titanic pool. You’re not sure how large, but far larger than the 25 meters your mind guesses before it simply refuses to go any further. The water itself is a blue, crystal blue. So deep that you cannot even see the bottom. The other thing you notice is that this room is very hot. Less than a sauna, but certainly quite hot. The sounds of water can be heard dripping to the point where it sounds what you think would be a small rainshower (you never personally experienced a rainshower).

“M-my god!” you gasp as you look in amazement around the area. No wonder the Richardson's are rich when they have this much pure, clean liquid water at their disposal.

“Amazing isn't it? Best yet, there is a natural filtration system. We pour out used bathwater from above, and the rocks clean it all out, to where it gathers down here once again. A few of the other family members also use this place for... romantic activies.” Amanda says. “I assume this place is fine for your rituals? The only thing I'd wish to ask is that you refrain from casting rituals which could damage the water, for obvious reasons.”

It takes a few seconds to calm your amazement as you look down here. You can't tell if you're a bit dizzy due to the heat or the sheer size of the room. But you eventually calm yourself to a point where you think you can ask Amanda some questions again.

I disagree entirely with the showing off, especially with the increased light. Teaching by the light of a single torch adds atmosphere, and its not particularly in Sarah's persona to show off. What with us typically portraying her as meek.

Not only is she keeping up with the lessons and grasping the material at a rapid rate, but she’s now showing a renewed interest in learning it seems. Pouring nearly all of her heart and soul into it.

You try to continue teaching as time goes on, but the heat is starting to get to you. You’re sweating all over. Amanda on the other hand hardly appears to have broken a sweat. Though that may be the fact that she’s wearing a one piece working dress while you’re in a full blown witches costume.

Figures as such. People like her have their eye glued to the prize at all times. You hang your dress on the hanger in addition to taking off your bra and panties. You can’t help but skip on over to the hot spring lake and quickly dive into it.

You then reach up and kiss her gently on the mouth. Your soft lips intermingle with her own, her lips being even softer than Mina’s. Amanda jumps at first, but soon gets into the kissing action as well. Closing her eyes and letting herself be gently pushed down.

During the next bit, you learn something yourself. Teenagers may be a pain in the ass to teach at times, being stubborn like Leona or arrogant like Amanda. But one thing you’re now thankful of is that horny teenagers can go on seemingly *forever*.

The bout of passion lasts for hours, both of you taking your time with each other but still with the reckless abandon of the horny teenagers you are. You even manage to get a small snack of Aether out from Amanda as well.

It doesn’t take long for the two of you to finish putting your clothes back on and head back up to the top. On the way up, the two of you mainly talk about future goals. You mostly try to keep the topic on Amanda, in where she says that before you, she’d most likely just continue her family business, trying to become the heir of it over her two brothers as she’s only third in line. Thing the Richardson family is a bit of a caged tiger. While they are very powerful in this local area, to the point where the Langy family agreed to give them Noble status, they are very weak outside of it. Traders from New T.O. often just sell (inferior) water from America, Hawaii, and the Great Lakes for vastly cheaper prices, undercutting them completely. With her powers, Amanda will want to expand her family’s water business, and hopes they the things you train her in will help.

You and Amanda finally reach the top of the spiral pathway after a long walk. You carefully open, then lock the iron door behind you.

As you turn around to look at Amanda after you’ve locked the door, you can notice that she’s fidgeting to herself slightly. Your aura sight shut off automatically long ago, but you probably don’t need it to guess her current emotions. You wonder what else you could say to her before you leave, as it is getting rather late.

You can choose by default who you want to summon so long as you got their name (in case of duplicate names, you will itself will bring forth the one you want)

The Imp summoning ritual can only summon Imps, the weakest kind of demon. You won't be able to summon Mina or Brodin using it, as their class is higher than that of an Imp. You'd need to learn a new ritual to do that.

Rituals are useful in their own way as you can learn them for some things you don't want to bother learning the controls in. On the downside they're fairly inflexible in what they do.

Talk to both Mina and Brodin about the summoning thing we're doing, how we aren't actually summoning them, just pretending to. Coach them on how to act about it, but that they should be natural about it. Brodin keeps his hood up for anonymity, but stays the irreverent lazy drunkard we all know and love, Mina changes appearance, because we're not dumb, but stays happy, nice, and so on, keeps her succubi traits concealed for a bit. We can ask them to point out the Demon and the Angel and turn their expectations over on them.

For the first bit of it we could use Darkness Control to keep their appearances hidden so we could have our students guess based on nothing more than how they answer questions.

Regardless of what we think, they should be the ones to choose what clan they want to enter in with. If they want to turn in the first place. It takes quite a bit of time, but you eventually manage not only commit the fake ritual to memory, you also get the real ritual itself.
