As Azure gets near the stone once more, he sees something strange near the base of it. Walking over and picking up he finds that it is a small black stone, looking up to the crystal he sees the faint face of a suffering wolf seeming to plead with him with a crippled voice that could only faintly be heard.

"Find...save...freedom..." It said as it then disappeared making the stone glow a faint white.

Using what they have, they make large weapons with sharp edges for the tips of their Spears and for their Knives.

One of the Wolves even present the largest Knife to their Alpha which he carries strapped to his water pouch.

As the most quite of the older wolves work with the leather left from the recent hunts they notice something outside. Laying it out on stones then streching it makes it rather tough and durable.

They also notice that now, That the sun is much brighter and the world is much warmer.

It is now Summer.

As the sun warms the tribe stepping out into the wet ground, new children are born.

----
As the Tribe explored the forest spreading out their hunting grounds they found quiet a few odd things. Many of which they found scary yet amazing.

One whilest going up found that stones were not soft and damn near broke a leg falling down the mountain.

The others found something...possibly even more dangerous in the distance. They barely noticed the smoke going up into the sky. They quietly followed it to the source until they found what looked like some sort of group of wooden housing.

As they were traveling at night, nothing from these strange wooden things saw them and they were able to get back in time.

As some of the wolves work with the sharp knives, some find that it would be better to simply wear them as thin clothing than anything else as other argue it would make them safer to wear it thicker. This causes a great argument within the Pack which Stonestream has to split up quickly.

He reminds them of their unity and advises them to not work with leather until they get it sorted. (Leather working unavailable for 2 turns.)

-
As Azure walked into the sunshine for the first time he noticed something about the land around him. The others didn't see it or believe him. But he said he saw another wolf leaning against a tree watching over the tribe as they sat in the grass in the sunlight.

No one takes this to heart.

Blisterpaw, imagine this. We're pirates, sailing the seven seas, looking for booty and wenches. All of a sudden, we spot a city to plunder! Now, they've probably got telescopes, and they see fucking wolf people all on the deck. Their first action is to probably bombard the ship with cannon fire. Then, we all jump out and doggy paddle to the shore! Boom, they didn't expect that, and now we have the city!

Expenditure of clan's resources is subject to clan council ruling. Or Alpha's (Stonestream's) vote.

We would need to invent woodwork though - or learn it from our neighbours.
>>
>>22993018
As the Tribe moved out led by the hunters with the Alpha out in front in his armor and his weapon at his side. They moved toward the wooden buildings.

As they got closer, they saw what the creatures living there were and it didn't look very good to be going well for them.

The area near the village's river was slightly scorched, a strange sent of burning hair and flesh was in the air as they moved in slowly seeing no souls in the open as some of the homes from the front seemed torn a bit by massive claws.

"Hello! Is anyone of this Village here! We are the Pack Stonefang, we would like an Audience with your Alpha. I am Alpha Stonestream." Howled out the Alpha standing in front of all.

They heard movement in some of the houses as a creature popped it's head out. It's narrow snout and bright blue eyes nearly glowed in the shadow of the dark homes. Slowly more and more of these creatures looked out of holes in their walls and their doors.

This made them all nervous before the Alpha shook his head of the nervousness and said, "You have nothing to fear. We come in no ill will to you. We come bearing a gifts and wish to simply talk to your leader in turn."

After a minute of silence, one of the creatures walked out. It was a small one, almost as tall as Stonestream (Who only reached about 4'10) and had a grisly sight to it.

It's hide was the color of blood and fire with many long pink gashes running across it with one of it's eyes white from a scar along it's face. The creature wore simple leathers but still looked skinny in hunger.

"I am...all they have for a leader." It said in the same tongue, a tongue that the wolves thought they learned from the Stones themselves "The stones spoke to us as well...but as we started working with them all...We were attacked by what we thought was an ancestor..." He motioned around him and adjusted something on his back, Stonestream blinked as they were slightly shrived wings.

"I'm Bleed Leader of tribe of the Fire Kin"

Let us share food with them - have a feast to commemorate this event.

The people of the Fire kin move out of their holes as most are the same color as Bleed, but some are different and do not speak 'Stone' as the wolves do. Bleed explained these people were also those who escaped from their own homes from the creature that rests on clouds and rains death upon them all and their villages. The other types of these strange creatures were known as 'Sky Kin' that were the color of Clouds, and 'Muck Kin' who were the color of musky green.

The odd tribe of people came out of their homes and soon, with help from the much larger Wolves, slaughtered the deer and ate with them around a large fire that Bleed start unseen by Stonestream or any of the Wolves.

He had seemingly used no tools that he had put away by Stonestream's keen sight. As they spoke, they told stories of what happened. All of the Kin held a crystal which spoke warnings and some had pleaded to be helped or help others captured by an unknown force. The Crystals all took one of the weakest and sickest into it as a form of mercy to the Tribe.

But as the tribes of 'Kin' held the Crystals in the center of their forest homes, soon the same monster from the clouds swooped down stealing them and destroyed their homes and ate most of their people. The Fire Kin were lucky to mostly be out up the river fishing as their homes were mostly fine and only had to fend off the beasts like cats from the mountains that the wolves slightly reconized.

All the Kin ate the large Deer quickly as the Wolves could not feast with them in honor of them letting them come, and with sadness that such people looked so thin and starving

(You've Discovered...The Kin Village.).
>>
>>22993368

We don't need to invite them, just bring some from our stockpiles. They seem weakened. We will have guard to back us in case retreat was necessary.
>>
>>22993402
(These do not look anything like wolves. They simply speak the same 'Magical' Language you know. For all you know, it's just the language of primitives. Other than that.
They look similar to Lizards with small wings on their backs...

Just...Pointing that out.

You can have three chances to do something with this odd Tribe of refugees.
>>
>>22993402

>>
>>22993450
Option A: We build them a cave near ours where they can't be attacked by the lightning cats.
Option B: We leave them at their village but promise them protection (a few guards)
Option C: We simply return to our homes and ignore them (they are not threat, because they are weakend)

>>22993450

Well they seem fellow elemental beasts at least. And they are definitely fellow sentients.

I like the idea of brother Printer building them shelter - although I would rather not let them join us in our own cave. The village seems to exposed to be defensible against air attacks. Especially by a... dragon?

Offering to build them a larger shelter in the walls of the mountain intrestest them greatly and they agree with terms that they will be close enough to your's that they could easily communicate with them in case of an Emergency.

As one of the eldest of the Kin tribes help with moving everything. A young wolf with fire in his eyes tell him to rest whilest he takes his Burden. The Elder smiles as they move and tells the Wolf people a little bit about something he had been fond of when his village was still around. (He was the color of the Sky)

He described something like growing food from the earth and collecting fruit from those to eat which would be much easier to eat then meat.
-
The methods of teaching them the leather working doesn't go well at all. They seem to have known this and simply polietly decline the knowledge as they already knew it. But a few copper spears allow the most 'Abled Body' of them to hunt a bit more for the odd village.

----

The Cave that was created by most of the strongest of the Pack near their own but closer to the river was impressive. It went deep enough to house them all yet had a few nooks and crannies for them to put other things. The stone that they moved they used to make a great wall with a few arches out of. Making the area safe for them from storms.

As the Studies go again with the Elder and her Staff Azure feels a strange connection to the item and asks to grasp it.

As he focuses on it after bringing it to his hand, he taps the ground in the three places making small holes in the ground.

He keeps playing with it until the staff and the small section of stone he was experimenting with had turned near molten hot. As the others wish to touch it...others fear it and look at the Cub in fear.

Soon though, the fires do not cool and are kept in their place in the back cave. So they do not injure anyone but seem to have some connection and pull to the young Azure.
-----
The hunting went rather swimmingly as the Kin taught something to a few of the hunters which made them look rather foolish coming back into the cave home. Their fur was splattered with mud and leaves. But the darkness of the forest made them even harder to see.

The Hunters have now learned basic Camouflage.

I say we B. I feel that we need to improve our copper for more weapons - Protecting these kins will probably make us a target.

B) Lets invest in copper mining and all that.
A1) We should help our neighbors, of course!

Sort of agree there, but i'd also like to take out those fires. Do we have the chance to pour water on them? We still have the water pouches, and they might get dangerous if some pups go around them.

Eternal fire inside a cave? It doesn't have anything to spread over to.

I say we build a forge over it, if anything.

Perhaps we should carve a new cavern some distance off our primary setlement to conduct our magical experiments in. A tunnel to it would be nice if we wished to relocate the Crystal as well - we wouldn't want to move it in the open, if we wanted to move it at all.

Other than that,

As some attempt to use fires outside the cave to bend and shape the fires, which they fail, some notice something high above them that looks somewhat like a bird.

A few of the Kin and Wolves work to make the cave a little bigger in the back to hold a large and stable wooden 'building' in the back of the cave which is guarded by the largest of the Kin and no wolf is told what it is inside.

F) Lets try to make copper helmets since we already know how to make basic copper..?

We need to perfect our anti-air defenses. We would not want to suffer from the same attacks as our Salamander kin, especially since I suspect they are more resistant to fire than we are.

As they keep working. more wolves learn the basics of it and more and more knives are passed around. But...where was the Ore coming from?

As they investigated they found that while the Deer sharped their antlers, they sometimes dug out chunks of the metal.

----
As the Kin settle in a bit more, strangely they notice something about one of the young wolves. This wolf being the blue steaked 'Azure'. They whispered about him strangely and said something to him in a tongue he didn't understand.

When this didn't work Bleed simply nodded his head smiling strangely with a small glow and tapped the staff Azure was carrying around now. This has now glowed an odd red.

Will now be starting a new Thread. Will link when I have it up.

>>22995764

Reward the deer with extra... whatever it is they were eating. We shall call him Urist in honor of his prospecting skill.

Ask Bleed what is the meaning of this. Politely, but do not accept dodging. Magic is a force not to be trifled with.

Caught up!
All glory and praise to the Laughing Wolf Father.

Brothers!

Our advancement with copper and our new friends our great resources. But again, we have let our most valuable gift go to the wayside, our stoneshaping abilities.

We should continue to help the Kin build their new homes. Perhaps we can make use of our newly learned camouflage to sneak a peek into their large, guarded building?
