In the dining room of the Catastra mansion, three people sat at the table next to you. Sansa, Ari, and Tori ate, the silence growing stronger, save for the clink of silverware on plates. Things felt awkward, and when Sansa finally set down her fork to look up at you, the tension suddenly rose.
"... They're curious." Sansa explained. "But you're normally not supposed to ask what a crone was talking to you about. The crones frown on that sort of thing."
"... Um, I'm actually in my familiar." Ariana said. "I can't be in both places at once yet."
>>
"More angel stuff. But now I sort of have an idea about how to beat Gabe, so that's nice."
>>
>>22936904
"It was nothing particularly important. Just asking me what I intended to do here and stuff like that."

We'll tell Ariana and Astora the whole thing later.
>>
"Well, it was probably the shortest conversation I've had since I started my journey. It was also the most enlightening.
I don't think I can share what it was just yet. But I can tell you, I'll definitely need the hammer to defeat Gabrielle."
>>
>>22936956
Sansa won't know what we're talking about anyway.
>>
"Well, it was probably the shortest conversation I've had since I started my journey." You say.
"... I know that feeling." Sansa said, and Ariana nodded.
"It was also the most enlightening." You continue. "I don't think I can share what it was just yet, but I can tell you, I'll definitely need the hammer to defeat Gabe."
"The hammer?" Ariana asked.
"... Some kind of spirit in the basement talked to Abel." Astora said. "Gave him a warhammer."
"Right, okay." Ariana said. "It's yours, then, Abel."
Silently, Sansa went back down to her meal, and you heard the sound of howling wind start up outside, signalling the start of the snowstorm, as the light slowly dimmed. Astora's hand sparked, and more candles lit up, lighting the dining room better.
>>
>>22937070
"Thanks, Ari."
>>
>>22937070
"Any way to tell how long the storm will last?"
>>
>>22937070
"So, Ariana, how'd the meeting with your suitor go?"

>That was today, right?
>>
>>22937103
>That was next week.

"Thanks, Ari." You say, and look to the window. "Any way to tell how long the storm will last?"
"It should be over by the morning." Sansa said, absentmindedly. "It always is."
She sighed.
"Kale is... unnerving me, right now. His eyes are grey, and he's not smiling." She said. "And he *always* smiles, most of the time. Should I say something to him?"
>>
>>22937160
"Maybe. He;s got a lot of baggage from Skiitara. What time is it there?"
>>
>>22937160
"I think all of this is awakening his old memories, ones he'd rather forget. He lost his wife and son to the Forged."
>>
>>22937160
"Tell him Abel says the world still needs Kale right now."
>>
"Maybe." You say. "He's got a lot of baggage from Skiitara. What time is it there?"
"It's almost midnight." She said. "We've all stopped for the night, and he's taking care of the horses right now.".
"... Tell him that Abel says the world still needs Kale right now." You say.
"I will, once the horses are ready." She said. "They don't like me much."
A few moments later, she set down the fork and shot you a grin. "His eyes are normal again. I think that helped."
>>
>>22937280
"This is really good food, Sansa."
>>
>>22937280
"Glad to hear it. Anything else happen so far?"
>>
>>22937280
"Leez made me promise to protect Kale. Not that I wouldn't anyway, but there you go.
Anything else going on I should know about?"
>>
"Glad to hear it. Leez made me promise to protect Kale. Not that I wouldn't anyway, but there you go." You say. "This is really good food, Sansa."
"I did spend most of my coming of age cooking." She said.

You nod, and turn to Ariana again. "Anything else going on I should know about?"
"Cass has fallen in love with Hannah." Ariana said, and frowned. "Hanging on every word she says. It bothers me. Hannah bothers me. Pretending to act all... vulnerable, just to get people to like her. But other than that, nothing. We met a courier on the road, and apparently Amberway is under siege by the Forged."
>>
>>22937455
"They've deployed a lot faster than I expected."
>>
>>22937455
"Don't be too tough on her, she's just a child and she almost lost everything when the Order attacked her camp."
>>
"Do you think Hannah is dangerous?"
>>
>>22937455
"You think she's still working for Gabe?"
>>
"... Don't be too tough on her. She almost lost everything when the Order attacked her camp."
"I know." She said, and sighed. "She brings it up every time I talk to her."
"Do you think Hannah is dangerous? Still working for Gabe?"
"No, she's not dangerous." Ariana said. "I just don't like her. or the way she acts. I am glad that Cass is happy, though."
>>
>>22937747
"Alright. Keep an eye on her though, just in case."
>>
>>22937747
"Where are you now? In a town?"
>>
"Alright." You say. "Keep an eye on her, though, just in case.Where are you now? In a town?"
"No, we're in the wilderness. Some place Kale took us to, to keep hidden." She said, and rubbed at her eyes. "I'm sorry, but I'm really tired. The Gift of Shadow took a lot out of me today, so I might go to bed early."
"Okay, Ari." Sansa said. "Sleep well."
"But first." Ariana said, getting to her feet, grabbing Sansa's wrist. "You get your own room, sister of mine." She said.
A smile suddenly bloomed on Sansa's face, and she nodded, following Ariana out of the room.
"Clean up after those two leave!" Sansa told the few small golems that were nearby, and they saluted her as she was dragged out.

Astora gave you a look, and then looked back down to her empty plate- before grabbing what remained of Ari's plate.
"Want some?" She asked.
>>
>>22937962
"Sure."
>>
>>22937962
"Yeah, why not. Beats whatever we can make whilst we're on the road."
>>
>>22937962
"Sure, I'd love some." Then open our mouth as she has the plate and can give us a bite from it.
>>
>>22937962
"Those Golems are pretty handy."
>>
"Yeah, why not." You say. "Beats whatever we can make whilst we're on the road."
"Beats the turnip soup, which is the only thing I can make." She said. You open your mouth, implying that she should feed you- and she just scraped half of hers off on your plate, with a raised eyebrow.
"Those golems are pretty handy." You say, as one of them lift up the empty plates and glasses, taking them off to another room.
"They are." Astora said. "They've made the past few days a lot easier on me. I'm used to cleaning things myself, but since Sansa's been around, they've been helping. They don't work very long too far away from her, though."
>>
>>22938099
"That's a shame."
>>
>>22938099
Pout for a second before eating the rest of the food.

"Was worth a shot.

It does seem like one of the more utilitarian gifts, as well as pretty powerful. And they're great for getting stuff done.

But, you still do have the prettiest hand I've ever seen."
>>
>>22938099
Consume the food.
>>
"Was worth a shot."
"You're a fit young man." She said. "You can feed yourself, I'm certain."
"It does seem like one of the more utilitarian Gifts, as well as pretty powerful." You say, nodding to the golem and consuming the food. "And they're great for getting stuff done."
"The problem, she says, is with getting the right type of clay. Mud dries, and if the clay has too much rock in it, then it works itself apart." Astora said. "I think she made her own clay by hand, by mixing different soils and water. You'll have to ask her. It's certainly more useful than the Gift of Sight."
>>
>>22938237
"I dunno, being able to spy on anyone at any time is an attractive prospect."
>>
>>22938237
The Gift of Sight seems pretty useful in it's own way. You could keep track of Ariana with it, and turning invisible is no small feat.

I'll agree that it doesn't help around the house much though, but I'm sure it's useful for finding things you've lost.

And you can't tell me the gift of fire isn't useful after that trick with the candles.
>>
>>22938237
"Gift of Sight has all sorts of uses, sure it's not as good at cleaning a house, but plenty of other uses.

Though I didn't expect that you'd have to spend quite as much work mixing up the right clay, sounds inconvenient. What would happen if you use the Gift of Fire to bake her Clay? Could she still control it?"
>>
"The Gift of Sight seems pretty useful in it's own way." You say. "Sure, it's not as good at cleaning a house, but plenty of other uses."
"Well, I could probably use it to spy on someone and blackmail them into cleaning my house." She said, with a slight smile.
"Though, I didn't expect that you'd have to spend quite as much work mixing up the right clay, sounds inconvenient. What would happen if you use the Gift of Fire to bake her Clay? Could she still control it?"
"It would probably work itself apart." She said. "Like dried mud."
She ate at her spaghetti for some time, before setting it aside, and stretching.
"... With the storm, I don't think I can show you around the city." She said. "... What do you want to do?"
>>
>>22938413
"Anything, if it means spending time with you."

"Does this manor have a forge?"
>>
>>22938413
You said there was plenty more mansion to explore, but I'm also really really looking forward to sleeping in a nice comfy bed.

Whatever you like.
>>
>>22938413
"Honestly? Getting under a big heavy blanket and snuggling with you sounds divine right about now.
Unless you've got somewhere or something else you want to show me first."
>>
>>22938413
"I'm pretty flexible, as long as I get to spend time with you I'm happy.

Does the manor have a forge? I could make you something to remember me by.

Or just drinking something warm and cuddling under a blanket with you while listening to the storm, that does sound nice."
>>
>>22938413
"Manor exploring sounds pretty interesting to be honest."
>>
"Honestly? Anything. As long as I get to spend time with you, I'm happy. Drinking something warm and cuddling under a big heavy blanket sounds nice."
She thought about it for a moment, and then nodded, with a grin. "Wait here. And you guys, remember, cleaning also means putting out the candles. Leave a few lit."
One of the golems saluted, and then started hopping from candle to candle, winking most of them out, and Astora ran off. There was coming back some time later in thin sleepwear, with the largest, fluffiest blanket you'd ever seen. She grabbed your hand, and tugged you out into another room- Not a bedroom, but a sitting room, with a fireplace, a large seat meant for three or four people, and books covering the walls. From here, you could hear the howling of the wind, and the bang of a shutter now or then.
>>
>>22938632
"This may be the coziest room I've ever been in."
>>
>>22938632
Excellent, ask her to light the fireplace, take off our shirt, then sit with her on the comfy couch under the blanket and cuddle like we've never cuddled before.
>>
>>22938632
Grab a seat and get Tori to lie down with her head on our lap.
>>
"This may be the coziest room I've ever been in." You say, and take off most of your gear, lounging back on the seat.
"I know." She said, and with a 'fwoom', the fireplace lit, and she tossed the blanket on you, cuddling underneath, her claw on your bare chest, as she curled up next to you. She lay there for almost a minute, before she met your eyes again.
"... I forgot the heated chocolate for us to drink." She said.
>>
>>22938875
"Don't worry, I'll get it."
>>
>>22938875
I'll go grab it. it's in the kitchen, yeah?
>>
>>22938875
So this mansion has a room just for cuddling in? Is there any room it doesn't have?
>>
>>22938875
"It's not that important. And I'd have to move, and I don't want that." Give her a smooch and hold her closer.
>>
"Don't worry." You say. "I'll go grab it. It's in the kitchen, yeah?"
"If you got lost, then I'd be stuck here all alone, waiting." She said, and gave you a kiss. "I'll go grab it."
Astora reluctantly climbed out from under the blanket, and made her way into the other room, coming back with two metal mugs, steaming, as small spheres of flame danced beneath each one, until she set them next to the couch and curled up next to you again.
"So this mansion has a room just for cuddling in?" you ask. "Is there any room it doesn't have?"
"The room for cuddling in is actually downstairs." She said, with a kiss. "This is one for wasting time with books, and relaxing. But down there you can't hear the storm."

You sip at the chocolate, and it was thick on your tongue, and very sweet. It brought up old memories, very old- from when you were a young child, a treat your father had brought to you, before your mother got ill and wasn't able to walk...
And a kiss pulled you out of your memories, as Tori- and her thin slip- sidled closer to you, almost warmer than the chocolate.
>>
>>22939063
Kiss her back, hold her close.

Have I ever told you how beautiful I think you are, Tori?
>>
>>22939063
"This is too good."
>>
>>22939063
I don't normally get lost, you're mansion is throwing my direction sense way out. Are you sure this whole place isn't made of magic?
>>
>>22939063
Hold her closer, give her a kiss back, use tongue.

"You're beautiful, and I wish I could stay like this forever."
>>
"I don't normally get lost." You say. "Your mansion is throwing my direction sense way out. Are you sure this whole place isn't made of magic?"
"I'm sure." She said. "If this place carries magic, it's magic born from the people who live in it. That's something dad always said."
You close your eyes, pull her closer, and give her a kiss, cuddling up underneath the blanket.
"... You're beautiful." you say. "And I wish I could stay like this forever."
She didn't say anything, simply laying her head into the crook of your neck, claw on your shoulder.
"...Then why don't you?" She asked, in a quiet, trembling voice. Something sounded wrong, and so you opened your eyes to meet hers- and she was tearing up. That's when you realized- her arms around you weren't just embracing you- they were clinging to you for support.
>>
>>22939331
"I would if I could, Tori. But Gabe and Gareth have to be stopped."
>>
>>22939331
"Because these things I'm wrapped up in are bigger then me."

Hold her close.

"And as much as I dont want any of it, I'm the only one who can do anything at all."
>>
>>22939419
>>22939367
These two, followed by: "But I promise you, I'll come back. And from that point on, I'll spend the rest of my life making you happy."
>>
>>22939331
Hug her closer, gently rub her back.

"If I could I would, but I can't. The world needs me, there's Forged attacking everywhere, I need to protect everyone else, I need to stop Gabriel and Gareth.

If I decided to be with you instead of helping the world I could never forgive myself for not trying, if I stayed I wouldn't be the person you fell in love with. I'm the only one who can do this, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."
>>
>>22939466
I'm not sold on this, anon. We might not come back.
>>
"Because these things I'm wrapped up in are bigger than me." You say, quietly, and pull her closer. "I would if I could, Tori, but.. Gabe and Gareth must be stopped. I'm the only one who can do this. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. But I promise you. I'll come back."
"You promise?" She asked.
"... I do. And from that point on, I'll spend the rest of my life making you happy."
She was quiet for a time, and then entwined her legs with yours.
"... I'll have to settle for that, huh?" She asked. "A promise from someone who's going to take on an army of Forged by himself? There's no way you can keep that."
>>
>>22939550
"I'm not just someone, I'm Abel, I'm an Angel, or part of an Angel, I stab Wizards and fight bears, I have prophecy on my side, and I know what I have to do now.

I will come back."

Keep on hugging her.
>>
>>22939550
"That's why we're travelling to Skiitara. It's not just me in this."
>>
>>22939550
No, there isn't, is there? But I can't run, Gabriel will chase me forever.

I've been told that even if I win things won't be the same.

I'm scared, Tori, But I have to do it.
>>
>>22939550
Last time I let forgot about Gabriel, let him roam free, he killed your familiar. Next time it could be worse. I can't let that happen.
>>
>>22939550
"I'm not taking them on alone, Tori. I'll be getting all the help I can possibly get first. Skiitara, the Order, I'll probably ask the Crones before I leave as well. Not to mention whatever forces Isalva can get together.

Don't bet on me defeating an army, bet on me gathering my own."
>>
"I'm not just someone, Tori." You say. "I don't plan on dying. I stab wizards, fight bears, I have prophecy on my side, and I know what I have to do now."
She was quiet for a time.
"... Last time I forgot about Gabriel, let him roam free, he killed your familiar." You say, quietly. "Next time it could be worse. I can't let that happen."
She sighed, and kissed you again, hand on your cheek.
"Y-you're right." She said, eyes closed. "You have to go, or else you wouldn't be you."
She took a deep breath.
"Could I... Could I ask for one thing? Just one thing? Can I have at least tonight?"
>>
>>22939719
I'm here for a few days, and for that time I'm all yours. No exceptions.

If you want anything, anything at all, I'll do it for you.
>>
>>22939719
"From my understanding, I've got maybe two more days here."
>>
>>22939719
"Why would I say no?"
>>
>>22939719
Grab her butt. Nothing cheers a girl up like a good butt grabbing.
>>
>>22939719
"You can have two." kiss her
>>
>>22939719
"A horde of wild bear wizards couldn't drag me away from you tonight."

Hold her fire hand and gently trace the lines we carved while kissing her.
>>
"I'm here for a few days, and for that time... I'm all yours. No exceptions."
"... That's the answer I was hoping to get." She said, and then kissed you, pulling you close.
Some time later, asleep, sated, with Tori sleeping by your side, you fell into the dream.

You were floating in eternal darkness, surrounded by three points of light- great mirrors, with a person standing in front of each one- Sansa, Ariana, and Tori, the first two with their backs to their own mirrors, and the last... kneeling, wailing and crying, hand on the mirror. Without thinking about it, you approached Tori, and intuitively understood.
The mirror was Magic.

The mirror, engraved with marks, words, names, and symbols, was made of brass, gems near your name, and Ariana's, while an all-seeing eye and a spirit of flame hissed over the archway. Tori's left hand- the one marred by the Gift of Flame- was covered in a strange, tangible self disgust, black and inky. Most of it had been scraped off, but remnants remained. She knelt, palm up against the shattered glass of the mirror, shards reflecting the same thing, repeatedly- A dead dragon. Shards of scale, shards of membrane, a pool of blood, a tooth, rotting meat in the gums.
Tori wailed again, kneeling, palm on the shattered mirror. Looking over to Ariana's own mirror, you saw that hers was intact.
>>
>>22939937
>Forgot to say.

>WAT DO?
>Also... roll magic.
>>
Rolled 3

>>22939964
Hmm... See if we can pick up a bit that's fallen off.
Hey, it's broken and we have magic fixing abilities.
>>
Rolled 1

>>22939964
Let's see if we can't use Leez's craftsmanship stuff that we got to help repair her mirror. It might help.
>>
Rolled 74

>>22939937
take her hand look stand in before of our mirror try to read our name
>>
Rolled 6

>>22939937
Fix that shit up good as new.
>>
Rolled 1

>>22939937
Kiss Tori's claw. Try to reassemble the mirror, and look for Cass' name.
>>
You take a few steps forward- and your arm starts burning, hissing with pain, scalding you.
You look to it, where Leez had marked you- and the fire there was just that- a fire, burning, flaring up-
You take another few steps forward, and the Gift of Flame, soaring above the mirror, brightened in response to Leez's Origin.

Next to Tori, you reach down, grab a shard of mirror... and place it into the frame.

In the reflection, you saw a piercing blue eye, staring back at you, in the form of a humongous wolf, easily larger than the bear you'd once fought. Intuitively, you knew how it'd feel- to have the nose, to hunt something down on those paws- It was Right, in the same way your knowledge of firearms was Wrong.

You ignore it, and kneel down, taking more shards, and placing them into the frame as well, putting together the pieces of the mirror, slowly and surely, as the cracks in the mirror slowly fade, speeding up their regeneration-

And the pain in your arm brings you to your knees, as the wildfire bursts large and hotter, as if to show off to the Gift.

You open your eyes again, awake, and you see Tori sitting up, holding her claw, eyes wide.

She created some fire with it, as it burst-
And pain flashed into your arm, burning you where Leez had marked you.
She laughed, and turned to you, shaking you.
"Abel. My gift doesn't hurt anymore!"
>>
>>22940172
Wince a bit. "Nope, not at all."

"Fucking magic."
>>
>>22940172
"That'd be the dream then. Try one more time."
>>
>>22940172
"That's brilliant! *hold her claw in your hand* Well it seems me being here did some good after all."

don't you dare mention about it hurting you now!
>>
>>22940172
"Magic is weird as hell. I was dreaming and I saw you and your magic, which was a mirror, and I started to put it back together."
>>
>>22940172
Just Grin at her. The biggest smile we can manage.
>>
"That'd be the dream, then." You say. "Try one more time."
She closed her eyes, and clenched her claw- and as the cracks burst open, pain flashed into your shoulder, and you winced at the same time she did.
"... Well, not as much as it used to." She hissed.
"Magic is weird as hell." You say, and hold her claw. "I was dreaming, and I saw you and your magic, which was a mirror, and I started to put it back together."
She looked at you and blinked.
"... The Gift of Truth did this, didn't it?"
You grin at her, and she sighed, climbing out of bed, creating a source of light in the palm of her hand. You felt mildly drained by the idea, strangely.
"Come on, let's go find the book on it." She said.
>>
>>22940299
"This will take some getting used to."

Pull some pants on and follow.

"I didn't think you could actually change anything with the gift of truth."
>>
>>22940299
"Magic is just made to confuse everyone."
>>
>>22940299
>She does know we have Vees power right?...
>>
>>22940299
Try to make our own sphere of light, when tori isnt looking.
>>
"This will take some getting used to." You say, and pull on some pants, following her- though when she pressed her palm against the door of her bedroom to open it, you very clearly felt *a* palm against a door, somewhere. "I didn't think you could actually change anything with the gift of truth."
"You can." She said. "But there aren't rules for it."
"Magic is just made to confuse everyone."
"Probably." She said, as the two of you walked, as she wrapped her blanket around her, walking through the near-darkness. The wind still howled outside, and it was still dark. She arched her back, and stretched. "I feel a lot better." She said. "I still feel empty, but it isn't... painful, anymore."

While she walked ahead, you clenched your fist, and focused... and the sphere of light in Tori's palm suddenly brightened, as you got more drained.
She stopped walking.
"... Wh.. what was that?" She asked, meeting your eyes.
>>
>>22940452
"...Magic."
Poke our own arm.
>>
Um.. I don't know. I think that was what the dream did.
>>
>>22940452
I believe that our two magics are now connected, at least until your familiar comes back I think
>>
>>22940510
Oh dear. Did we take her familiar's place? That's probably not good.
>>
>>22940452
"Magic. I think I made myself your familiar, kind of. Your magic is linked to me, I could feel your hand when it touched the door, don't ask me how it works."
>>
"... Magic." You say, and poke your arm. "I think that was what the dream did."
She sighed. "Damnit, we'll find nothing in the journal about this." She said, and turned directly around, snagging you with an arm around your waist. "The crones might not even know what's going on."
>>
>>22940452
"Oh crud, well, it seems as if we now share that magnificent hand of yours haha"
>torn between telling her and not telling her...
"Hmm? What was what?"
>>
>>22940546
"Yeah, I don't think there's going to many records about what happens when you combine angel, witch, and elf magic."
>>
>>22940546
What do we do now?
>>
>>22940564
>to be many
>>
>>22940546
We should probably tell her about Leez's boon.
>>
>>22940546
"In Skiitara, before we left, Veez gave me her knowledge of crafting as a boon. Do you think it could be the two of them interacting?"
>>
>>22940546
"They probably don't, this is the intersection of multiple different types of magic. But I'm more or less your familiar now, I can help share the load that you're carrying."
>>
>>22940619
*Atlask
>>
"Yeah, I don't think there's going to be many records about what happens when you combine angel, witch, and elf magic."
"Elf magic?" She asked.
"In Atlask, before we left, Veez gave me her knowledge of crafting, and magic, as a boon."
She sighed, and leaned up against the wall in the hallway.
"So, what do you think it is?" She asked.
"I think... I made myself your familiar, kind of. Your magic is linked to me. I could feel your hand when it touched the door. Don't ask me how it works."
"So... when I use my Gift of Flame..." She said, and it cracked, as white hot pain burst into your arm. She watched you wince, and then sighed.
"... You have your own burdens." She said, meeting your eyes. "You shouldn't have to share mine."
>>
>>22940731
"Hey, I'm not the one who had to experience dying."
>>
>>22940731
"I agree'd that I'd help you, and if this is what it takes, then that's what it takes."
>>
>>22940731
I shouldn't have messed around in the dream. Don't worry about it.

>>22940769
no
>>22940776
yes
>>
>>22940731
"I happily shoulder this weight for you Tori. I chose this, more or less, I don't regret it in the least."
>>
>>22940731
"If I can feel your arm, can you feel mine?"

Pinch our arm a bit below the wildfire tattoo.
>>
"I agreed that I'd help you, and if this is what it takes, then that's what it takes. I happily shoulder this weight for you, Tori. I chose this, more or less. I don't regret it in the least."
She met your eyes for a few moments... and then walked past you, back to the bedroom.
"I do." She said, and sighed.
"If I can feel your arm, can you feel mine?" You ask, and pinch your arm.
"I can't feel anything." She said, and shook her head- and suddenly you felt a shard of glass in your hand- something you were still holding when you'd awoke. "Let's get back to bed."
You join Tori once again, sliding under the sheets and removing your pants, and she kissed you, clinging to you, and soon enough, the two of you were asleep.

When you wake up, she was missing, and someone was hammering at the door. Light peeked in through the large curtains over the window, and she'd left a warm mug of chocolate on a table near her bed for you, next to a note.

>Going food shopping with Ari.
>Will be back soon.
> - Tori

There was more hammering at the door.
>>
>>22940969
"Hello? Sansa?"
>>
>>22940969
"Whuzzahhfuughh?"
>>
>>22940969
Oh shi... did we steal a part of her mirror?

Do we still have that on us?
>>
"Hello? Sansa?" You mumble, pulling on some clothing and taking a drink of the chocolate. You pull open the door, and hear a bleat. Sansa's familiar stood there, and then headbutted your shin and bleated again, leading you upstairs to the kitchen.
"Breakfast is ready." Sansa said, sliding a bowl two feet across the table, where it slowed to a stop. "Since it's just us two, I made oatmeal."
>>
>>22940969
Answer Door after getting pants.
>>
>>22941065
"Ah, thanks.

Do you mind not headbutting me in the shin? I kinda need them."
>>
>>22941065
You don't have to injure my shins everytime you want me to follow you, you know.
>>
>>22941065
"Why do you always headbutt me? My poor shins.

So,any luck on the secret goat passages?"
>>
>>22941065
"Thanks, Sansa."
>>
"Ah, thanks." You say, and take a seat. "You don't have to injure my shins every time you want me to follow you, you know."
"But it works so well." She said, and stirred up her own food, as the golems cleaned up after her.
"So anyway, any luck on the secret goat passages?" You ask. "Who the hell are you, exactly?" She asked. "All Ari's told me is that you're someone who helped her on her Coming of Age, which I get, but now you just spend all day strutting around here."
>>
>>22941212
I'm just a woodsman from the vale, who got caught up in things far bigger then he.

And now I'm apparently an elf wizard angel witch king. Or something.
>>
>>22941212
"I like to think I swagger rather than strut. Strutting implies sharper movements.

And I happen to be Astora's X."

Where X is what we are. Boyfriend, Fiancee, lover, etc.
>>
>>22941261
I think Lover works there.
>>
>>22941212
"I'm Abel. I'm on vacation from saving the world from a massive army of Forged that threaten everyone. I also once killed a Wizard with the Gift of Fate by stabbing him in the throat.

I'm also Tori's lover, it's complicated."
>>
>>22941212
I met Ariana when she was caught up in the order, and managed to get her out uninjured. Since then we've been travelling together, and I've been trying to look after my friends.
>>
>>22941212
"Did she not mention the bit where I saved her and Tori from a wizard and dragon? Or when I killed the Kraken that was trying to sink our boat?"
>>
"I'm just a woodsman from the Vale, who got caught up in things far bigger than he." You say. "I'm on vacation from saving the world from a massive army of Forged that threaten everyone, and I happen to be Astora's..." You trail off, thinking. "...Lover."
She met your eyes, and as if bored, took a bite of oatmeal.
"Did she not mention the bit where I saved her and Tori from a wizard and dragon? Or when I killed the Kraken that was trying to sink our boat?"
"Yes, yes, you can kill things." Sansa said. "She mentioned the wizard, but now you're simply bragging."
>>
>>22941391
You sounded like you wanted to be impressed.

So what's the order of the day? Anything I can help with while I've free time before the girls get back?
>>
>>22941391
"You asked.

So, what do you want to know? I'm pretty much an open book."
>>
>>22941391
"It seemed like you wanted the full run down, that's all."
>>
>>22941391
"Someone's a tad grumpy. Explains why your familiar is a goat."

Dodge her attempt to bark our shins.
>>
>>22941435
>>22941426
Hehe, combine these two.

Rolled 22

>>22941391
If I was a bragging I would say I am a Angle and the wizard had the gift of fate
>>
"Someone's a tad grumpy." You say. "Explains why your familiar is a goat. So, what do you want to know? I'm pretty much an open book."
She shot you a glare.
"No, I'm not grumpy. My mood is fine, it's just that I don't like you." She said. "But you're a guest, else I would've left you to sleep and make your own food."
>>
>>22941570
"But why is it you dislike me? Have I affronted you with my charm and dashing good looks?"
>>
>>22941570
What did I ever do to you?
>>
>>22941570
"That's what grumpy people always say."
>>
>>22941570
"Well you do make excellent food, and I thank you for that. I'll be out of your hair soon enough.

But really, there isn't much to say about me, I'm a woodsman who Ariana took a shine to and I'd do anything up to protect my friends. I also talk to my sword, it talks back but it's cryptic and a bit of a jerk."
>>
"But why is it you dislike me? What did I ever do to you?"
"When we met, you entirely ignored me so you could go shove your hand down Astora's breeches. That didn't paint a flattering picture of you."
"...I hope we can at least be civil."
"I can do that." She said. "I just had to make it clear."
"Well, you do make excellent food, and I thank you for that. I'll be out of your hair soon enough."
"Good to hear."
"But really, there isn't much to say about me, I'm a woodsman who Ariana took a shine to and I'd do anything up to protect my friends." You say.
"Who doesn't protect their friends?" Sansa asked. "I would, and I can't fight."
"I also talk to my sword, it talks back but it's cryptic and a bit of a jerk."
"... So you're insane, too." She said.
>>
>>22941684
"Let's just go with that for now."
>>
>>22941684
"No, it actually does talk. I might be insane, but that's for entirely different reasons. You can ask Ari, she'll confirm it.

So, you know my story. What about you?"
>>
>>22941684
If only. No, it's as they say, the truth is stranger then fiction.

You can hardly blame me for wanting to surprise her with my appearance. I said hello immediately afterwards.
>>
>>22941684
"Well, to be fair it cheered her up a lot. And I didn't mean to ignore you."
>>
>>22941684

first impression didn't go so well, its not that we aren't interested but the last time we saw Astora she had been falling apart after what happened to her familiar. we've been feeling guilty about it and just wanted to see her again.

"i sorry i ignored you, i hope we can get along."

in case we forgot,
"congratulations with your acceptance into the Catastra family."
>>
"If only." You say. "It's as they say. The truth is stranger than fiction."
She shrugged.
"You can hardly blame me for wanting to surprise her with my appearance. To be fair, it cheered her up a lot. And I said hello immediately afterwards."
"It did, and you did." She said, and sighed. "If you can keep her and Ari happy, we'll be good."

You hear a sudden ring, and a chime echoing through the mansion.
"Someone's at the door." She said, and locked up, her eyes bugging out. "But I... I can't... I'm more than a guest, now. W-what if I ruin everything?"
>>
>>22941863
"Hey, calm down. Just do what you're doing with me. Stay aloof and polite and you'll do fine."
>>
>>22941863
"Hey! Don't look at me! I don't know the customs and everything. Like you said, I'm a guest here."
>>
>>22941863
You'll be fine. Who could it even be?

I'll go with you just, uh, show me where the door is.
>>
>>22941863

stay calm, breath, be polite, works well in most situations.

You can do this!
>>
>>22941863
"Just act noble, stay calm, deep breaths, be polite, I'd advise against headbutting them.

If you need me to provide a convenient distraction just let me know, I don't have any social standing to lose."
>>
>>22941863
"I guess greeting them with a headbutt to the shins is off the table?"
>>
>>22941863
We've still got our flintlock and rifle with us, correct?
>>
"Just act noble, stay calm, deep breaths, be polite." you say. "You'll be fine. I'll go with you. Just, uh, show me where the door is."
"This way." She said, getting to her feet and leading you through the hall, to a great set of double doors, coats and shoes set into shelves next to the wall. Steadying herself with a deep breath, she pulled open the door.
A tall, clear-skinned blonde man stood there, a polite smile on his face, wearing a thick scarf and coat.
"Hello." He said, with a nod to Sansa, and a brilliant smile that reminded you of Kale. "I am Callisto Primm. Would Astora be here? I caught word that she was."
"I'm Sansa V- Catastra. Pleased to meet you." Sansa said. "I, uh, She's in the city right now. She should be back later today."
"Splendid, then I'll simply wait in here until she returns." He said, and stepped in through the door, kicking snow off of his shoes and putting his scarf in the alcove. He gave you a brilliant smile, and repeated his name for you, alongside a slight nod. Behind him, a slim, wolf-like creature walked in, with silky, feathered wings on it's back, and red eyes. You knew it from stories that Kalveer told you- It was a barghest.
"Yes, yes, this is my familiar." He said, with a chuckle.
>>
>>22942022
Smile and nod.

>Primm was the annoying house that Astora mentioned yesterday, right?

"Really, I just figured people in these parts usually had barghests follow them around in addition to their familiars." you say. "I'm Abel Byrne. Pleased to meet you."
"Oh? You're not from around here, then?" He asked, and shook your hand. "Where from? I don't know of any other place where warlocks are born, to be honest."
"He's not a warlock." Sansa said.
"Oh, so you'll be the Catastra's new housekeeper!" He said. "Still, I'm pleased to meet you."
The barghest, next to him, didn't seem to share the same sentiment, with angry, glaring eyes, pure red and full of malevolence.

>>22942164
"Hardly. I'm just visiting, I'll be gone soon, I've got to take care of an army of forged."

"Not a housekeeper either. I'm a friend, I'm just visiting Ari and Tori."

"No, I'm just a friend that Ariana made on her coming of age. I'm visiting for the next few days before I get back to my adventuring group."

"No no, just a friend of the family visiting. I became friends with Ariana on her Coming of Age, and through her, Astora."

Because we don't know Sanctuary politics, and this might not be something that should be announced. It could be good or bad, we have no idea, but we really ought to leave it to Toir/Ari to figure it out.
>>
"Not... entirely. I am here as a guest of the Catastra family. I'm from the Vale. Just passing through."
"... Ah, right, from the Vale." He said, with a nod and smile. You could vaguely tell that he had no idea where you were talking about. Sansa was looking up at him, her cheeks pink and sparkling eyes- She looked...

Exactly like Tannis looked at Eldin.

You had a bad feeling about this.

"So, what do you think of Sanctuary so far, Ser Byrne?" He asked.
>>
>>22942337
They are both Nobilis what does that have to do with it.
>>
>>22942340
"I haven't seen too much of it, but what I have seen has impressed me quite a bit. This house seems to have a room for everything.

I'm not sure your familiar likes me, I hope I haven't offended him."

I know that it's because he doesn't like us, but there's no reason to let him know that.

"I haven't seen much, so I'm really not in a position to comment."

"Are you alright, Sansa?" Is her goat about?

It's clear that bloodlines and families are a big deal here, and they are the last surviving members of a very powerful family. Either one getting hitched is clearly big news.

"I haven't seen much of it, but what I have seen has impressed me quite a bit." You say, and made sure you had your flintlock and rifle with you, which you did.
"Glad to hear it!" you say.
"Hey, Sansa, how about you go get something for Ser Primm here to drink, while I show him to the sitting room."
She was about to protest, and you gave her a Look.
Surprisingly, she complied.
"O-of course. Hospitality, after all. You're guests!." She said, and left, as you led the man to the sitting room, as the familiar followed behind him, glaring at the walls, and surroundings.
"I'm not sure your familiar likes me." You say. "I hope I haven't offended him."
"Oh, don't worry. That's just how he looks." The young man said, not missing a beat, and started scratching behind his familiar's ear. The familiar started licking his hand, and panting like a pleased dog. "He's a sweetie, really. So, how did you meet Ariana and Astora? Coming of age, perhaps? Or are you an ambassador from the vale?"
>>
>>22942494
"Yes, I'm a friend from the Coming of Age." Don't mention which.

>>22942609
Why does it matter? He's obviously here to ask Astora to marry him.

"I ran into Ariana about to be burnt at the stake on her Coming of Age. I was able to convince the Knight there to free her, and traveled around with her for awhile." you say. "Eventually, Astora began to travel with us as well, having been given permission by the Crones."
"Interesting." He said, with a nod.
"What are you here to see Astora about, if you don't mind my asking?"
"Oh, it's simple." He said, and gave you a pleasant smile. "I've come to propose to her. To invite her to fold the Catastra family in with Primm. It's a dying name, after all.
His lips quirked, and he nodded his head toward the door. "It's a pity we'll have to take the orphan in, too, but that's what I get for being late."

>>
>>22942685
"Ah, I see. Why exactly would you want the Catastra family to join yours?
>>
>>22942685

i wonder what orphan you are talking about, the only one here besides us is most definitely a member of the Catastra family.

i hope Sansa is listening in on this because if she just has a sudden crush, this will hopefully shake her out of it.

>this rude motherfucker better not have a gift which can charm people.
>>
>>22942685
And just out of curiosity, why now, and why do you think she'd accept?

It is to my understanding that she's remained unmarried by choice.
>>
>>22942685
"I see. Forgive me, but I know Astora rather well, and she's remained rather stubborn on the marriage front for some time now. That combined with the Castara family being stronger than ever with Ariana's gifts, what makes you so sure that she'll accept?"
>>
"Ah, I see. Why exactly would you want the Catastra family to join yours?"
"Because it has a long history of Gifts and nobilis, of course." he said. "All the great houses do. It would be a pity to let the family die and be forgotten."
"And just out of curiosity, why now, and why do you think she'd accept? It is to my understanding that she's remained unmarried by choice."
"Well, she's soultorn right now, so I believe that a nice wedding would help her cheer up. And... I can be rather charming. So I'm putting trust into my charm. I trust you know how that is."
>>
>>22942848
"So you're going to use whatever hell-forsaken Gift you have to force her into marrying you?"
>>
>>22942848
"Pardon me if I ask this, but what are your gifts? Would perhaps your charm be related to them?"
>>
>>22942848
"Yes, I noticed the effect of your 'Charm' on young Sansa there.

And despite her rather unfortunate situation, she's doing just fine. And stil' vehemently opposed to marriage."
>>
>>22942848
I doubt she'll be back for a while.

"I doubt she'll be back for a while."
"Oh, I can be patient." He said, and leaned back in his seat.
"So, as a warlock, you'd have some Magical Gifts, yeah? Might I ask what they are?"
"Oh, the usual." He said. "The Gift of Vermin, the Gift of Healing.. Nothing very powerful. In fact, my gifts are so weak that even a supernatural familiar isn't powerful enough to make me Nobilis."

Sansa stepped into the room, three glasses of water on a tray, and set it down, taking her own seat, eyes only for the warlock- who entirely ignored her, and didn't touch the water.

"The Gift of Vermin, eh? I heard it's common to be able to charm mice and other such critters. what can you charm?"
"Bats, insects, barghests, hounds..." He said. "It's supposed to be a good omen when your familiar and your gift of vermin happen to be the same thing."
You lean back in your chair, and relax, taking a sip of water, before getting to your feet again.
"One moment please. Sansa, could you help me find the washroom? This house is huge, and I still get lost easily."
"Oh!" She said, jumping to her feet. "Of course I can. I'm sorry, Mister Primm, I'll be right back."
"Oh, I can be patient." He said.
She lead you out of the room, to the washroom, leaving the man behind, leaning on the wall next to the door.
"You need me for anything else? I want to go speak with him some." She asked, irritated.

"Shit, can't you see what he's doing to you? Are there any Gifts that let you charm people?"
>>
>>22943153
"Sansa, he's lying about his gifts. He has one that lets him influence people, maybe only women. Your eyes look exactly like a Maenad's eyes when she's under the Gift of Vermin. You're going loopy over this guy who you just met, and who to be honest is objectively creepy."
>>
>>22943153
"Sansa, I'm fairly certain that he's affecting you with his Gift of Vermin. I met a Warlock with the Gift of Vermin who could make Maenad love him.

He's here to propose to Astora and he doesn't have a particularly high opinion of you. He refered to you as 'the orphan.' "
>>
>>22943153

i'm very sorry, but i can't help feel a little upset when someone speaks ill of my friends.

are there gifts that can be used to charm people?
>>
>>22943153
"Hey snap out of it, what's with the strange attraction miss googley eyes?
I fear he has the gift of vermin for people or some gift to charm you. He's obviously going to use it on Astora. Besides why didn't you react when he talked down about the fact that if he added your family to his he had to take the "orphan girl"."
>>
>>22943153
"Sansa, I want you to think very, very carefully. WHY exactly do you like him so much? Especially after he's been so rude to you personally?"

if she fails to realize on her own, "Look, I've seen maenad affected by the gift of vermin before, and you're looking at him exactly the same way that they looked at the warlock. I believe you're being magically compelled to like him."
>>
>>22943153
"I think we should warn Ari and Tori before they get back."
>>
>>22943241
She wasn't in the room when he said that.
>>
"Sansa, he's lying about his gifts." you say. "He has one that lets him influence people, maybe only women. Your eyes look exactly like a Maenad's eyes when she's under the Gift of Vermin. You're going loopy over this guy who you just met, and who to be honest is objectively creepy."
"Tch, he's not creepy." Sansa said. "He's a healer! You heard him say he's saved lives."
"Sansa, I want you to think very, very carefully. WHY exactly do you like him so much?"
"... He's handsome, he's polite, his familiar is adorable..." She said. "You're jealous, aren't you?"
"Look, I've seen maenad affected by the gift of vermin before, and you're looking at him exactly the same way that they looked at the warlock. I believe you're being magically compelled to like him."
"The Gift of Charm?" She asked. "No, I'd definitely be able to tell if he was doing something like that. You're just saying things like that because he's *obviously* here to propose to Astora, and you don't want him to. Now, if you don't actually need to use the washroom, I'll be going back to talk to him."
>>
>>22943297
"Or you wouldn't, because he's Charmed you already."
>>
>>22943297

it's not Astora i am worried about right now, its you. you have been acting nothing like yourself, please, be careful.
>>
>>22943297
"Sansa, I have never lied to you, and I never will. Tori and Ari can confirm that I don't lie. Right after you left him he called you the 'orphan' and said it was a pity that he had to take you as well.

Sansa, I don't think it's possible for me to be jealous of another man, I'm too full of myself.

Ask yourself how you would react to him if he was using the Gift of Charm. Consider how you're reacting to him right now."
>>
>>22943297
"Sansa - please wait. If it was really going to make Astora happy to marry someone else, I'd volunteer to be the damn minister. But this guy is setting off every warning bell my head has got.
I'm just trying to look out for the Castara family's well being, just please be guarded around him. That's all I ask."
>>
>>22943386

>and our head has a lot of fuckin' bells.
>>
"Sansa - Please wait." You say. "If it was really going to make Astora happy to marry someone else, I'd volunteer to be the damn minister. But this guy is setting off every warning bell my head has got. Ask yourself how you would react to him if he was using the Gift of Charm. Consider how you're reacting to him right now."

She met your eyes for a moment... and then blinked. And blinked again, rubbing at her eyes.
"... You're right." She said, after a moment. "... This isn't me at all. You're right."
She closed her eyes for a moment.
"... And if he's here for Astora, and if she's soultorn..." She said, and her eyes widened. "She won't be able to resist. We have to... do something."
>>
>>22943478
"Well, I could shoot him in the head but that would be frowned upon, I imagine."
>>
>>22943478
"Do we have any way to contact Astora or Ariana?"
>>
>>22943478
don't we have that stuff to kill powers? fuck can't remember the name of it...make his ass a tea or something to kill his powers with it
>>
>>22943510
Rosemary, and you're a fucking genius.
>>
>>22943505
We could use our link as maybe an S-O-S?
Flash it off then meet her at the door.
>>
>>22943478
"I suppose that shooting him in the head with a weapon that ought not exist in this world should be at the very most Plan B.

We can send him off for a day or two, but he'll come back. We need to permanently get him to go away, preferably without killing him. I think we should spike his tea with rosemary, make sure to cover up the taste with something, and then Astora can reject him completely. If that doesn't work I can find a good place to hide his corpse."
>>
>>22943510
rosemary right? might be a good idea to put some in his water
>>
>>22943478

will you be able to resist him?

is there anything we can do to notify Ariana and Astora about our situation here?

maybe she could run out to meet the girls before they get back, maybe have her familiar run out and lead them to a secret entrance?
>>
>>22943547
THE GOAT TUNNELS!
>>
What Gift was it that gave rosemary immunity? Healing or Life? or was it Fate?
>>
>>22943478
"THANK YOU. Go find Astora and Ariana and warn them. I have rosemary in my pack."
>>
>>22943559
Fate.
>>
>>22943538

we gave Astora some rosemary before she left, do we have some on us or do we know where she stashed it?

if all goes well we could just keep on stalling him until the girls get here then dump rosemary all over him and sort this our proper.
>>
>>22943559
>No gifts make you immune to rosemary, but some are unaffected by rosemary (Which means that that specific gift will still function, no matter how high the witch is)

"Do we have any way to contact Astora or Ariana?" You ask.
"I'll set my familiar running down there, but I can't talk with it." She said, panicking.
"We can send him off for a day or two, but he'll come back. We need to permanently get him to go away, preferably without killing him. I think we should spike his tea with rosemary, make sure to cover up the taste with something, and then Astora can reject him completely. If that doesn't work I can find a good place to hide his corpse."
"With *rosemary*?" She asked. "You think it's a good idea to poison him? Not to mention it's illegal for anybody in sanctuary but the nobilis to even own."
You check your pack- and with a start, you remember that you'd given your rosemary to Astora, back after she'd first gone home. So it was somewhere in the house... but not in your bag.
>>
>>22943590
"Okay, I don't have it anyway. What should we do?"
>>
>>22943590
"Not enough to kill him, just enough to turn off his gifts for awhile. But I forgot I gave mine to Tori a week ago. It's somewhere in the house, but it's not on me.

He doesn't seem to really be paying you attention. Could you intercept Tori and Ari at the door if I keep him distracted?"
>>
>>22943590
FUC"K
great ok then i'll meet her at the door because there's no way in hell i'll find the rosemary in this labyrinth of a house
>>
>>22943590
"My other current plan is to splatter his brain over the carpet, but the clean up for that is arduous and killing him will have consequences.

I don't have Rosemary on me, I gave it to Tori, not sure where she put it.

Can your familiar lead them to a secret entrance where we can talk to them before this fuck gets a chance to?"
>>
>>22943590
Fuckit.

Let's try magic-talking to Tori
>>
>>22943590
It isn't really a poison, it's just a herb like any other. Exept it makes witches sneeze or get a bit loopy or something.

Has he seen Astora before?
>>
>>22943590

might be able to send a note along with your goat, we can try to keep the bastard tied up in that room while Sansa goes to find that rosemary, it should be somewhere close to where Astora stayed when she got back to the mansion, her room maybe?

whatever the cost, Astora must not meet this sumbitch.
>>
>fuck.
>it 2:30 in the morning here.
>hate to leave at this highpoint but i need sleep.
>good luck gentlemen!
>>
"My other current plan is to splatter his brain over the carpet, but the clean up for that is arduous, and killing him will have consequences." You say. "And I don't have rosemary on me. I gave it to Tori. Not sure where she put it. Can your familiar lead them to a secret entrance where we can talk to them before this fuck gets a chance to?"
"I don't know where any secret entrances a-"
You hear the creak of the front door opens, and the rustling of bags.
"We're back!" Ariana called, and your gut turned over.
>>
>>22943720
Make haste!
>>
>>22943720
"Quickly."

Get to the god damn door as fast as possible.
>>
>>22943720
fffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Stall him, i'll speak to the girls.
*RUN*
>>
>>22936904
"Of all the rotten luck! If we get there first, do everything you can to stall him!"
Haul ass to the front door. If we beat him there, drag Ari and Tori back outside saying nothing but "LIFEANDDEATHNEEDTOTALK" and explain as quickly as possible.

If we don't beat him there, then use our momentum to punch him as hard as possible aiming for the temple, and try to knock him out cold before he gets a goddamn word in.
>>
>>22943720
I vote we we panic, go to distract whats his face and 'accidentally' knock him out in the rush.

"Of all the rotten luck!" You say, and make your way for the front door-
Just to see the hound blocking your path in the hallway, wings spread to block the way, glaring at you with seething hatred, growling, small wisps of red light emanating from it. Those wisps, you knew from the stories, were hellfire, able to burn away one's soul.
"... Oh, he's so cute!" Sansa said, and started patting the barghest's head, trying to distract it- but it still glared at you... and then the corner of it's mouth pulled up into a grin.
The motherfucker was *gloating*.

"If you do not move out of my way, I will kill your familiar." You say, all pretense in your voice gone, as you draw your gun. "I've killed wizards, krakens, and forged. Don't push me, you miserable slimy fuck."
The barghest tilted his head.
"You have until the count of three."
And then it stepped aside, still grinning at you, the wings folding- and you darted past, toward the front door-

And Callisto Primm was kneeling there, bowing to Astora, as there was a tangible Something in the air, similar to a glamour.
"And this is why, with much trepidation, I ask you this." Callisto said, as you run toward him.
"Will you marry me?"
>Field too long!
>>
>>22944028
BOOM HEADSHOT!
>>
"... Why would I?" Astora asked, her eyebrows met together. "Of course not."
You felt that Something amp up, sending your body tingling with magic, and behind you, Sansa swooned.
"... Also, I can *feel* that." Astora said, and, with a slash of her claw, slashed the young man's face open. "Get out of our home."

He continued kneeling... then stood, fuming. The barghest leapt past you, snarling, wings spread, and landed at his side.
The warlock stood.
"I see." He said, and gave her a pleasant smile, bleeding from the three deep scratches in his face.

"I said get the hell out. You do *not* come in here to use your Gift of Charm on soultorn, you scum." She said, smiling pleasantly back. "And if you try this same thing on Astora, I will fucking burn you alive."

He simply walked past her, holding his face.

Astora shrugged, and gave you a wave, and when you were closer, a kiss. "Hey, Abel, mind helping us load up the pantry?"

Anddddddddddddd whyyyyyyyyyyyy must you always fuck with us?
Also how come the gift didn't work on Astora?
>>

I'm betting that it has to do with her being linked to us, that probably shielded her from it.

new to /tg/ more or less and im loving the quest so far man. Just out of curiosity how do you archive threads?
>>
>>22944287
Don't even joke about ma waifu like that.
I would actually be ok with that.
>>
>>22944288
It's a function of this site: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/
But be really really careful with the tags, you want to keep to the established protocols, or LL might delete everything. Also most quests have a guy who does all the archiving every thread, to keep it consistant, so don't archive something unless you think they've forgotten.
>>
>>22944350
good to know. Someone random just does it or the person running the quest does. It was just something I wanted to know and the inability of me to find an answer made me more curious about it.
>>
>>22944421
Depends on the quest. Often the Author does, but sometimes someone just takes it upon themselves to do it.
>>
>>22944464
cool thanks man
>>
>>22944339
>>22944287
According to Exa in the IRC, the reason it didn't work on Abel is because Abel hasn't ever shown any interest in men.

So the only way that would work is if Tori somehow wasn't attracted to men. So either Abel is the only one she's attracted to, or it has something to do with the mirror shard we're 'holding'.
>>
>>22944648
It probably has to do with the bindy magic thingy that we did with the mirror and the shard and all that jazz.
>>
>>22944648
Or maybe Tori has a third gift she's not telling anyone about. Or maybe her gift of sight lets her see illusions. Or maybe the house is warded to protect the Catastra family members. Or maybe the heart of flame is just messing with him.
