>I wonder what it's like to have a day off.

I don't say anything, I don't think there's anything to be said. I grab Ilya, and pull her it a hug. She starts crying moments later and I hold her while she lets it out.

Almost ten years since she's seen her father, and assumed she was simply abandoned. There's a lot of sad to get out of her system.

We stay there for almost ten minutes before she starts feeling better. "Sorry Onii-chan. I didn't-"

"No. don't apologize, you've done nothing to be sorry for." I tell her, giving her a squeeze. "Maybe you didn't know, but he tried to come back for you. If I knew you existed before now I would've tried too."

She smiles at me. "Really?"

"Really." I tell her. "I'll tell you what, I never got to meet our mom. How about you tell me about her and Dad when you knew him, and I'll tell you about what he was like with me. I wish there was some way we could've been together like a real family, but this might be the best we're gonna get. We should make the most of it."

Ilya tells me that we should set some time aside for that, and Sakura calls us for Lunch.

I help her clean the tears away, and the two of us join the others at the table. Lancer arrives, followed by Arcueid shortly after. I make introductions, and we start talking strategy.

[ ] Ask Rider what she found.
[ ] Ask Lancer what he and his Master know.

"Runes of binding?"

"Yeah. Weird, if I had to guess it was somewhere between a bounded field and a geas. Like it has a set function for certain people, over a wide contained area."

"Huh. You can do something like that?" I ask Rin.

"You could. I can't be sure of how hard it would be without knowing EXACTLY what it does. Or how they intended to target only certain people in a range."

If you're asking because you haven't been reading any of this particular quest, well, at least go read the last four or five threads. You should be able to follow along loosely with that. Really, though, this quest has become such a clusterfuck that if you're just starting you might as well be trying to comprehend The Warp.

How much knowledge do you have of Fate/Stay Night and the Type-Moon franchise as a whole? Anime? VNs? If you know anything of that at all, that makes it much easier to sum this up. Otherwise, we're going to be here a while.

His shanks and his joints, every knuckle and angle and organ from head to foot, shook like a tree in the flood or a reed in the stream. His body made a furious twist inside his skin, so that his feet and shins switched to the rear and his heels and calves switched to the front... On his head the temple-sinews stretched to the nape of his neck, each mighty, immense, measureless knob as big as the head of a month-old child... he sucked one eye so deep into his head that a wild crane couldn't probe it onto his cheek out of the depths of his skull; the other eye fell out along his cheek. His mouth weirdly distorted: his cheek peeled back from his jaws until the gullet appeared, his lungs and his liver flapped in his mouth and throat, his lower jaw struck the upper a lion-killing blow, and fiery flakes large as a ram's fleece reached his mouth from his throat... The hair of his head twisted like the tange of a red thornbush stuck in a gap; if a royal apple tree with all its kingly fruit were shaken above him, scarce an apple would reach the ground but each would be spiked on a bristle of his hair as it stood up on his scalp with rage."

"Underside of the bridge, near that one wrecked boat in the river, one at your school, train station, the one big mall, a couple outside Kirei's security net at the church, and one at the temple gate." He leans back, seriously concentrating. "A couple more near the western houses to the south on this side of the river, one at the docks, And a couple pointing in the direction of that forest we found her in." He tells you, pointing to Ilya."

".... Do we know any connections there? Significance?"

"You tell me." He says with a shrug. "Oh right, there was one that felt like a place where one might be near the river, but the whole place reeked of blood magic so bad I couldn't find the source."

"Blood Magic?" Rin asks.

"The Human sacrifice kind. Black Sacraments and the like." He says. "It's faded and old, but obvious as hell to anyone who knows how to look. Like the scars of old battle-wounds."

Eh, you're just about done.

To make a long story short Sakura's been de-wormed, Rin is now Rider's master, Archer is a mole spying on Avenger, our Emiya Shirou is not the Emiya Shirou from the original FSN, Kotomine apparently isn't one of the villains, Saber is contracted to Caster, Illya's been moe the entire time, and just about everyone's crashing at Shirou's place now.

"Well, you are wearing a blindfold." I concede. "but did you find anything?"

"Vampire related?" She asks. "Not really. I smelled blood in a few back alleyways, but that doesn't always mean 'vampire'." The shrugs. "I didn't make much headway there, so I tried tracking Avenger from his last known location."

"Any luck?"

"A little. I found evidence of him moving northwest through the forest from where he was apparently rescued by that other Archer." She frowns. "My search was cut short when I ran into him again."

"What happened?"

"He told me that Avenger said it was 'too early' for him to be found, and that apparently 'these things have a proper order'." Rider sighs heavily. "That was when he propositioned me as a way to pass the time." She then smiles, innocent and cheerful. "He backed off when I explained my idea of a good time to him though."

"Northwest... towards the temple?" Saber asks, looking between us."

"Oh, I just exaggerated a few details." She responds with a coy laugh. "I'm just, you know, less than gentle at times."

"And this was enough to-"

Rin kicks me under the table. "You're not trying to...."

"I honestly have no idea. I don't think I want to, but I'm not entirely sure what it is I'm trying to avoid."

"Did nobody ever give you 'the talk' growing up?" Lancer asks with a smile.

"I'm fairly certain nobody gives THAT kind of talk." Rider says "Although they should. The world would be a more interesting place."

"Can we talk about literally anything else?" I ask, attempting to herd the conversation in a vaguely useful direction. Sakura and Rin seem to be grateful for my backpedaling, but Arcueid merely looks confused.

"I don't know what we're even talking about anymore. Is this like that baseball thing?" She asks, with a note of frustration.

"... What baseball thing?" I ask, because I'm apparently incapable of learning the first time around."

"This one time when I was with Shiki Ciel asked him something about distance and then they started talking about baseball. When I asked them about it, they shared one of those 'do we really want to explain this' looks and then went in a different direction." She looks away. "I hate it when they do that. I still have no idea what baseball had to do with anything."

"Alright, well I have a few guesses, but none of them fit." I say, going over the mental list. "Miss Arcueid? Did you discover anything?"

"Actually yeah, it's weird."

"What is?"

"Dead Apostles like to create semi-undead minions by draining people and using them as puppets. I found a couple, so there's definitely a vampire around."

"Awesome." I say, with as much sarcasm as I can manage. "What's the rest of the bad news?"

"Well it's weird. I could find evidence of a couple of feedings, and a few of those husks. But then it stopped."

"Stopped?"

"Like he just stopped feeding. But that doesn't make any sense. They HAVE to feed. The only reason the Vampire attacks would stop would be if they left or someone killed him. But in either case the husks wouldn't be here."

"You're sure?"

"Vampire needs to feed for their power, the power sustains the husks." She replies with a calm certainty. "Something weird is going on around here."

"Welcome to a week ago." Lancer mutters from the other end of the table.
>>
>>22635695
Oh yeah, since we're not actually the same person that's not a time paradox!
>>
>>22635702

"How long can they go without feeding? Could it be that it is just lying low for awhile?"
>>
>>22635757

"Judging by the apparent power from the minions, it would last a day or two at most before suffering terrible consequences." Arcueid responds. "And it's been at least a week. He should be raving and ravenous by now, but it's.... silent."
>>
>>22635702
"Could the vampire have gotten another source of blood, and the previous attacks only happened because the vampire didn't get that supply yet?"

It's theoretically possible that a vampire kidnapped 10-15 people, kept them alive, and only took enough blood to sustain themselves and not kill their food source.
I don't think it's likely that this is what's going on, but if a vampire needed to hide for some time and not reveal themselves through their thralls, this would be a possible method.

Those runes. Didn't they smell like old blood, like scars of a battlefield? Maybe the vampire is subverting a need for blood by draining life force directly through long-range boundary fields of some sort? Could the "special parameters" installed in the runes be designed to keep people from dropping dead in the streets, or to target people who wouldn't notice the effects of draining?

I'm gonna finish marking up that map, and get back on this.

I finished the map to the best of my ability based on the locations given in the previous conversation. The green is wherever the mall is. I can't recall if the "mall" is at the shopping district in the west or the commercial area in the east. The rest are generally correct, I think.

They're all in places where fights happened in the 4th and 5th wars in regular old F/SN.

"Possible." She concedes. "But kidnappings would leave their own sort of indicators. It's possible that he was just very careful about destroying evidence."

She frowns at the second question. "Can't be. Blood in a bag is.... lifeless. It's more of blood being a method of eating life than the blood itself." She frowns. "Or something of a combination between the two, actually. Anyway, it's like trying to make a sandwich with only bread."

Well, we really can't. She's already given herself to Shiki. Unless you mean to avoid her knocking us a good one on the block for asking for her number. Though I doubt she has a phone. She can get anywhere she needs to be inhumanly quickly.
>>
>>22636073

Yeah, but everyone else in the room will think we are considering the harem we've amassed.
>>
>>22636032

She actually very deliberately blurs the line, playing dumb to trick people and cover up exactly HOW little she actually knows.

She's also aware of how bullshit powerful she is normally, and is equally aware that she's the ultimate extension of the world's rules as written, and the fact that raping/breaking/twisting the rules seems to be the driving motivation of freaking everyone in the universe.

I mean, having the best available stats doesn't mean much when half the named characters have a built in 'fuck the rules' button.

It seems pretty clear to me that Zouken gave up on trying to actually win the Grail War after the 3rd War and was instead busy with creating his own Grail.

"Alright then. I need to go and consult Kirei about all this." I look at Arcueid "Care to come along?"

"May as well." She says with a shrug. "What's he like?"

"..... Intense." I answer honestly. "I'm pretty sure he can smell fear, and a part of him enjoys the not so gentle prodding he gives people to get them back on the right path."

"That's an interesting way to put it." Rin comments, looking at me. "I mean, it's not wrong, but...."

"I'll be honest, something about him just bugs me. I almost feel like I'm looking for an excuse to hate him or something." I sigh, looking over at the newest addition to the family. "Oh well. If you guys want, we could probably use some help naming the dog."

"Dog?" Lancer asks, perking up slightly. He leans over and smiles. "Oi." The pup stares at him, and growls. Lancer growls back, and the dog barks angrily, to which Lancer laughs. "You've got a good one there kid. Brave and smart."

"You can just tell?" Arcueid asks.

"I'm good with dogs." He responds with a shrug. "I like dogs. You always know where you stand with a dog, it's people who get weird and complicated."

Berserker leans in with a smile. "And you haven't named him yet?"

"Nope. Do you have any suggestions?"

"Dogs are named for many things. A trait they exhibit, for events or people significant to the dog. Or people and places from folklore. There's more than a few heroes who would be honored to know you wanted to name your pet after them."

"Damn straight." Lancer comments.

"Choice is your Malik." He says with a shrug. "Your pet should have a name that means something to you. Unless of course you were just searching for a convenient label, but you may as well call it 'dog' then."

".... This is really a big deal?" Rin asks, confused, and everyone turns to look at her. "I mean, new dog's alright it's just... there's a war on? With Vampires and messed up cheating magic interfering with everything?"

"Sadly, she has a point." Lancer sighs. "Perhaps we'll think of one along the way but...."

"We should talk to Kirei." Rin says looking at me. Lancer and Berserker both want to come with, along with Arcueid and Ilya.

As we start to leave, Saber calls out to me. "Yes?" I ask, returning to her. It's... weird not feeling our connection anymore.

I wonder if I've been avoiding her because of it.

"Bedivere."

"... Pardon?"

"You said you wanted suggestions for the dog." She responds looking away. "I know he'd like it, and it's a good name. I mean, it's up to you of course, but...."

"Right." I tell her with a smile. "I'll think about it. It is a good name, but I get the feeling Ilya's going to be the one to convince."

"Perhaps." She responds with a smile. It's a small moment, but it makes me feel better.

Soon we're headed out, and Ilya tells me that she'll meet the rest of us at the bridge as she goes with Berserker to get a leash and collar for our new dog. I also note that he's following her closely even without a lead.

"Something to do with her legend." She responds. "She won't tell me exactly what it is because she insists that I'm only supposed to be her Master until Sakura's fit again. Which should be in a day or two at the latest."

"Ah." I look away. "No real trust then?"

"The little arrangement we have is semi permanent, but it's not exactly stable." Rin responds. "It's like a house of cards. It looks nice now, but there's still the matter of people gaining their wishes. Everyone who wants a wish is still out for blood."

"....Yeah." I say after a moment looking away. Maybe it was childish, but I didn't really want to have to kill anybody.

"....You're not a warrior at all, are you?" Lancer asks me, glancing back my way.

"I can fight."

"Yeah, you're a fighter. A warrior is something different. A warrior is someone who can take that extra step and kill, willingly commit that act. You don't want to."

"..... There's something wrong with not wanting to kill people?"

"In the general sense? No." He answers, shaking his head. "It's a fine sentiment to wish for peace. Admirable even. But when war comes knocking at the door you can't close your eyes and try to wish it away."

"..... Do you have a wish?" I ask him.

"Yep. Made a promise right after I was summoned. Honor-bound to deliver."

"Never learned your lesson about the whole 'Geas' thing?"
>>
>>22636650

"Nah, no magic. Just a promise. Means a lot more than any spell." We walk a little further in silence. "If you don't mind, I'm going to fade for a little while. Less of a burden on my Master."

I nod, and we continue along. The bridge isn't far now, and I can see Ilya already waiting in the distance.

>why were all the Greeks such dicks
Because they learned from their gods, who were dicks of the highest degree.

Medusa was once a priestess of Athena beautiful in body and mind. One day while walking by the seashore she was spotted by Poseidon, who was enraptured by her form. He followed her to Athena's temple, and rather than respect the sanctity of his niece's place chose to invade it, and raped Medusa on Athena's altar. The goddess saw this, and was enraged by Poseidon's assault on her temple, which she believed must have come about because Medusa had tempted the god. Athena cursed her for being raped, stole her beauty and warped her mind, and cast her into the ocean.

I believe the Gorgons found her later, and adopted her as their sister.

Blame Takeuchi. He's the one who convinced Nasu to go to a male protagonist. To be fair, that DID lead to Shirou, and trough him to the whole "living solely for other people never thinking of yourself" theme that runs through all of F/SN, so there is an upside to it.

Which I don't care for much. If anything, Perseus is one of the Greek heroes whose morality best maps on to our own.

Now, if it were Jason she might have something. Theseus too, maybe, but Theseus mostly just forgot to raise the right color sail and broke his promise with Ariadne. Of course Hippolyta was supposed to be pretty hot so who knows what the real story there is. Hm, I think I'll re-read The Bull From the Sea, been a while.

I always saw him as a bit of both and that`s why I like him. I mean, he`s basically a villian solely because of his glaring daddy-Issues and and Arthur being buddy-buddy with everyone but him.

I also don`t think that I have a problem with a genderbent Arthur despite not being a Saberfag, I´m also not bothered by the sexscenes... I just didn` like the way they were shoehorned it.

I mean, magic transfer via intercourse/ life transfer via intercourse is and was implied in many, many different folkstories and myths about mythical being throughout europe before christanity turned everything into a prudefest so I also don`t mind the concept since its old as fuck BUT its just how they implemented it that was very meh.

They could have done so much more with Arturia`s Character, they could have done so much more with the second sexscene and the lovestory by itself, but instead we have "FUCK ME LIKE THE MANAPOTION THAT YOU ARE, STUD!"

We reach the bridge in relative silence, and Ilya's happily talking to Berserker about 'her' new puppy. Well, I did already guess it was headed in that direction, not that I particularly mind.

When we arrive, Arcueid immediately confronts Berserker. "You aren't actually the 'Vampire' we're hunting, are you?"

"Of course not. That part of my Legend is completely false." He responds. "It was a misinterpretation of a specific line, but then my entire tales seems to fraught with such things."

"I see." She responds with a sigh. "Sorry, the thought just occurred to me."

"I take no offense, Madam." He responds with a bow.

"Wait, you know who Berserker is?" Ilya asks confused.

"... Of course. The heroes you have running around are or were people, so there's still a connection to the world there." Arcueid responds, genuinely surprised.

"Wait, connection to the world? Marble Phantasms?" I look around. "Walking around in the middle of the day? I thought you said you were a Vampire."

"I am." She tells me with a smile. "Just a different kind."

We cross the bridge and I have Lancer use my phone to take pictures of the sigil. It bears a striking resemblance to the one we found at school. Rin agrees that it's odd, and borrows my phone to examine it closer.

I salute you for being able to suffer through that shit.

I think I was about to tear out my eyes somewhere around the second episode after the fivehundredbillionth

I mean, its mindboggling how the premise to Index (Basically SCIENCE vs MAGIC vs X-MEN) is so goddamn awesome and you culd have done SO many things with it, but instead it turns into the most retarded shit one can imagine somewhere around the second Episode.

It`s if someone would take Axecop, play it completly straight and claim that its some DEEP shit.

>Uh, no. No he doesn't.

The only characteristic that proto Archer shares with fate Gilgamesh is the arrogance. Once he gets over almost killing his master for not being summoned as Saber (still the strongest class) he's actually just looking for a good fight with Saber and once he gets that he ends up being an ally while trying to gentlemanly woo Ayaka.

>>
>>22637364
Well, it was bearable for me because I found my waifu in the first episode.
I basically watched it for Mikoto.

Then again, the Railgun manga ist actually quite decent. But the Railgun SS novels are hilarious for how retarded they are. One of them takes place in Russia and doesn't make ANY SENSE WHATSOEVER. The MC makes all kinds of conclusions that have no basis in any kind of evidence they use.
The other one takes place in America, where EVERYONE loves guns and is armed. It's hilariously racist.
I'm actually working on a story that is basically based on an Accelerator-like guy wrecking shit and prejudice against the few magic users in the world due to prior similar events.
Now only a bunch of untalented magicians can save the world... And has to avoid exposure to the public, because the public fucking hates magic.
The end result will be a sniper rifle with mana-infused bullets, due to how my magic system works. The story will focus on the characters testing their magic in order to find a weakness in the enemy's defenses, which takes tons of trial and error. They also need support in order to deploy their countermeasure.

Because King Arthur also wanted to save everyone. I'm starting to like this.
>>
>>22637534
Setanta is his given name. He took the name Cúchulainn, which means "Culann's Hound" after he killed Culann's Hound and took its place to make reparations for it.

We could name it Failinis, after Lugh's dog.
>>

Setanta was his birth name. Culainn was a king whose favorite hound he killed, and in exchange he agreed to serve as a replacement for a year.

We progress along to the Church, and enter the chapel. When we arrive, we see Kirei leaning against the back wall of the church. "I expected you to arrive sooner."

"We were delayed by events pertaining the Vampire investigation." I respond easily. "Speaking of which, we gained an unexpected ally and found that Vampire Hunter we spoke of." I turn partially to gesture towards her. "This is-"

"Arcueid Brunestud." Kirei says calmly, as his entire body stiffens. The atmosphere in the Church changes abruptly as everyone except myself and Cain take a step away from the girl.

She seems immune to the change, or at least unaware of it. "Kirei, right?" She asks calmly. Kirei nods slowly. "A pleasure to meet you."

"Is it?" He asks flatly. No surprise or emotion, just a question as though confirming a fact.

"Sure, it's always fun meeting new people." She says lightly, looking around. "Huh, I don't spend a lot of time in Churches. Is it always this.... Somber? Sad?"

"The Last Grail war ended in such a way that there was a lot of Orphans living here. Having just lost their families, some grievously injured." His eyes never leave the girl. "Things like that tend to leave a mark, spritually."

"Yeah, I guess it would." She says, nodding as though satisfied. She looks back and forth between us, as though noticing the tension for the first time. "... Is something the matter?"

"No idea." I reply with a shrug.

And then I realize.

She's playing dumb. She has to be.

And it's everything I can do not to start laughing. "So, are you a celebrity or something?"

"I guess." she responds with a shrug. "I don't see why people insist on making a big deal about it." She says as she sits down. "I'm just a girl you know?"

"Common complaint." I respond with a slight smile. "I mean a lot of famous people get over exposed and it makes them uncomfortable."

"I'm not even really a big deal compared to my Dad." She says with a shrug. "But here we are, acting all awkward. It's not even the fun kind of celebrity with the parties and the Alcohol Shiki insists is a bad idea. They never ask for autographs, just kinda run and scream."

"You're joking. You knocked the smug right out of Kirei. I would LOVE to have your autograph."

She stiffen surprised. "You mean that?"

"Absolutely."

She surprises me with a hug. "That's one of the nicest things anybody's said to me." she says in a stage whisper, confirming my suspicions as to her awareness. I look at my assembled party over her shoulder as they give me looks in varying degrees of 'are you fucking kidding me'.

"Glad I could make you feel better." I tell her as I return the hug. "As much as I hate to spoil the moment, we did come here on business."

"You're right!" She says with sudden mock seriousness, spinning to fix Kirei and Rin with scathing looks. "Shame on you for letting me get sidetracked like that!"

I do nothing for a long time, just watching innocently. After a long, tense silence, Arcueid step forward and begins on a tirade about dragging her ALL THE WAY across the city to meet KIREI because of IMPORTANT CONVERSATIONS when she could be off actually HUNTING the DAMN VAMPIRE or maybe doing SOMETHING ROMANTIC with her BOYFRIEND.... A statement which catches Kirei and Ilya off guard like they had been physically struck.

"And furthermore, I.... I..... pfft, sorry Shirou, I couldn't keep it- *snnck* -going." She apologizes haltingly as she doubles over in laughter.

"You were doing so well too." I comment with a sigh.

"I'M SORRY!" She says in manner that suggests that she's not sorry at all. After a minute she manages to pull herself together as everyone else slowly attempts to put their sanity back together. "No really, I couldn't resist. You people need to lighten up.Seriously. you should've seen your face." She says pointing at Kirei, before comically attempting to replicate it. She then turns on Berserker. "I'm surprised you aren't laughing."

"You gave Ameerah a terrible fright!" He chides. "It would be rude of me to laugh at her distress."

"You didn't think it was funny?"

"I did not say that, I said laughing out loud would be terribly rude." He responds calmly, before leaning in to Ilya's side. "I know her identity is a bit of a shock, but she's no less trustworthy than before. She spared you this knowledge out of kindness, knowing it would distress you."
>>
>>22638124

With his words, Ilya calms down significantly, and Rin follows suit shortly thereafter.

Kirei remains perfectly on guard, however. "Rin has business related to her inheritance to discuss with me, and I would be happy to help her with the Vampire menace."

"You say that like I'm gonna be offended." Arcueid notes with a disappointed frown.

"Because by church doctrine, you are very much a part of the 'Vampire Menace'." He responds calmly. "While I would prefer not to anger you, doctrine is fairly explicit on this count."

She sighs disappointed. "Alright, I suppose I'll wait outside."

"I shall keep you company, Madame." Berserker notes. "After all, I feel like as much an intruder here as you."

"So I'm watching the kids then?" Lancer asks.

"Yes of course. And if you allow harm to befall my Master or her friends, I will hunt you beyond Akasha and make you suffer." He responds with the same casual cheer as he steps out the door.

Rin seems more than slightly upset with me, as does Ilya. Kirei merely looks at me like I'm insane. "Are you attempting to court multiple women, or your own demise?"

"Who said anything about courting anyone? I just want everyone to survive."

He's silent for a full three seconds before finally finding the words he's searching for. "Shirou, I'd hate for you to take this as an insult, but are you Gay?"

It has this in common with every other Rei Hiroe doujin

I think AC-Guy Vetoed that awhile back...
>>
>>22638364

>Strictly speaking, I never actually Vetoed it. I just stated a discomfort for personal reasons.

>That said, when given the option to turn left or right, you guys did choose to go the one way with it. Reversing that decision now would be... awkward at best.

Very good. So unless we go full retard we don't have to worry about our slightly insane loli wingman (winggirl? wingsister? whats the proper term here?) trying to jump our nuts.
>>
>>22638386
I'm relatively sure most of us here are in the same boat.
Like you said, we choce Onii-chan route already.

SHIROU, MASTER OF ROMANCE!
>>
>>22638406
I don't feel uncomfortable, but Illya simply works better as sister.
>>
>>22638400
Exactly, and that's why we can't let her get the idea that we're forming a harem on purpose
>>
>Alright, I need to swap computers and then I'll wrap this thread up in the next couple of posts.

"I'm really uncomfortable being asked that question by a Catholic priest. For MANY reasons."

"... Shirou, I am morally obligated to at least express a contempt for you stringing several young ladies along."

"I am stringing along no-one." I tell him "and furthermore my personal life, or lack thereof has no bearing on this conversation."

"Well-"

"Furthermore, I fail to see how it's any of your business."

"Rin's involved in your... whatever the hell you're doing. I'm supposed to look out for her welfare."

"I think she's more than capable of making her own decisions on the matter." I tell him, sitting back down across the way.

"Oh? And I'm not even allowed to voice an opin-"

"Kirei." Rin cuts him off gently. "There's a time and a place. Right now, there's more important things at hand."

"... Very well. You are here for some of your Father's secrets?"

She nods. "Starting with the identity of the gold Archer. Feel free to speak it out here, since I'll simply tell them anyway." She pauses. "Unless your Geas prevents that?"

"No. you're here and they have your permission to be here. That's sufficient." He clears his throat. "The identity of the 'Gold Archer' as you call him, is to my knowledge Gilgamesh. Apparently his legend states that he owned all the treasures in the world, which allows him access to copies of a grand variety of Noble Phantasms owned by other heroic spirits. There's more to what he can do other than use his treasury, but I don't know all his secrets."

I sit there, thinking. An armory based power. I won't know how powerful he actually is until we meet again, but....

"What are the odds of him being defeated?"

"He was vanquished in the last war. Not killed entirely, apparently, but weakened and defeated. It can be done."

"No hidden weaknesses that you know of?"

"No. His ego is enormous, almost to the point of a bad comedy. But he's also earned every inch of that self confidence."

>Any questions you'd like to ask him about the Tosaka family/Gilgamesh? I'll work in the info dump at the top of the next thread.
>>
>>22638704
"Do his legends tell of him owning a demonic motorbike?"

More seriously though. "Who defeated him in the last war?
>>
>>22638720
This. We must ask Kirei to give us in full detail all information he has about Gil's fights and whereabouts during the 4th war.
>>
>>22638704
Who was Gil's master during the last war, and who is his master now?
Do the Tohsakas possess any knowledge about Avenger?
Do they know of any means to cause a Master in a future War to summon a Heroic Spirit from the current one? Particularly methods that would cause said spirit to remember the previous war.
Would they be able to help figure just what, exactly, Shirou is?
>>
>>22638704
"Why did he have a motorcycle? Do you have any ideas what he might have been doing in the interim between the wars? Do you have any connection to Gilgamesh? Is there a limit to the NPs available to him either in variety or amount usable at a single time? Do you know of any artifacts in specific he does not possess? Can Gil use them to the same level as their true wielder? How is he maintaining himself? Was anything hinky with the grail last time around? Why is he fixated on Saber? Did you ever hear Gilly mention anyone named Enkidu? Who were the other combatants in the last war and how did he fair against them?"

This did pique my curiousity.

>>22638704
Questions:
Why is Gilgamesh still here?
Who defeated/killed the Rin's father?
Did he leave any other clues/heirlooms?

What's his goal in all this? Ruling the world?
He has money, he has treasure, he apparently can stay in this world without a master... What else could he want, except for Saber?
>>
>>22639155
If memory serves he believes Humans have become weak, Soft and undeserving of his rule. He would like to start fresh with those strong enough to surivive

I get the feeling one of them might be that Perpetual Prana Pumper idea.
