You look around groggily, handcuffed to the chair.

After a minute, you realize you're in a police interrogation room. You've never been in one before, but you've seen enough Law and Order growing up to recognize it.

You see your reflection in the mirror and idly hope that cut on your cheek doesn't leave a scar.

As you check the reflection, thinking about how good a hot shower would feel right now, a pair of cops enter the room.

One of them is white, older and with Gray hair. Despite his age, he clearly spends most of his free time in the gym. The other is a black dude who looks like a slightly 'broader' Samuel L.

The white one, who's badge reads 'Dawson' leans against the wall while the other sits across from you. His badge marks him as a 'Detective Lake'.

"How are you feeling, son?"

Also, did we roll our car? Because if we did it means our car was too top heavy. Need to get the center of gravity lower.
>>
"Like a Million dollars." You respond, giving your most winning 'Ladies' smile.

"You're almost worth that much." Dawson comments from the door, getting a chuckle from his partner.

"Alright, let me tell you how this stands. You are, of course, free to call an attorney at any time." He shrugs. "You're American, you have your rights. But first, I'd like for you to consider your options."

"Such as?"

"We have you on street racing. Given the fact you spun out and wrecked your care, we have you on reckless endangerment, vandalism, conspiracy to commit felony, and maybe attempted murder."

"Murder?" you ask disbelievingly."

"The car you collided with had a passenger who was injured. Any REAL attorney could have it argued down to manslaughter, but there you go. I'm fairly certain we can get you at least five years, and take your license. Forever."

You wince. Driving's kinda... important. "And behind door number two?"

"The race you were in was sponsored by the 'Breakline Circuit' a sort of neutral ground and entertainment center for various organized crime groups. Yakuza, Mafia, you name it."

"No shit? I just heard there was a set open for all comers."

"Yes, and the winners had a chance of being adopted." Dawson cuts in. "You make it local, they give you a chance at making it big."

"And we need them." Lake comments. "We need them bad."

"... you guys aren't BCPD, are you?"

"Indeed. Investigator Robert Lake, FBI." He tells you with a smile.

"Ah fuck."
>>
>>22538586

"So now I'm going to suggest something crazy. How about we put you behind the wheel again?"

Your mind races. "You want a mole."

"Exactly. We own you, and your shot at freedom and fun. All we need are some names and evidence. And you get to do what you love."

You take a deep breath. You weren't sure what you were expecting, but it wasn't a deep-cover assignment.

[ ] I'm in.
[ ] I need a car.
[ ] I want an attorney.

"I'll need a car." You respond, grin becoming less lackadaisical and more predatory.

Dawson and Lake share a glance, before the black man you share a table with smiles and moves to uncuff you.

After you stand up, stretching and rubbing your wrists, he looks at you. "As of this moment, you're going to be an associate member of the FBI. Dawson's going to take you a garage across town owned by a friend of his. There you'll find a couple choices in cars and some tools to make it your own."

I smile. "Think we can do breakfast as well?"

"We'll hit up a Denny's on the way, give you a chance to do your paperwork." The grey haired man comments as he tosses you your coat.

It's a nice coat, Leather with red trim. Put you back three hundred when you got it.

Had to put off getting a radio, but now that you've totaled that car it seems like you made a good choice.

About ten minutes later, I'm staring at the Paperwork in front of me next to a half eaten pile of hash-browns and blueberry pancakes.

Alright, no objections to 'Sam' moving onto stats.

You have four stats as a driver:

Luck, Finesse, Insight, and Reaction.

Luck is what it sounds like on the tin: better odds in certain situations, and you add half your luck stat to most rolls.

Finesse: Fine control over your car. High finesse is good for drifting, and other complicated maneuvers.

Insight: Reading the situation. The feel of the road and the way the other drivers handle it can tip you off on the biggest threats and the best lines to cut on the course.

Reaction: Reflexes are important when another car hits you, or when you encounter an unexpected patch of ice.

Cars also have four stats:

Durability: Able to take a hit, might be nice to have miss 'totaled her car in front of the cops'.

Control: How well your car handles. Are you riding a bucking bronco or a Tennessee Walker?

Speed: I am not explaining this.

Power: Torque vs. Horsepower here, really.

>You have a total of 12 points to start with. No stat can be less than one, or more than five here.

We'll do cars after you've decided on your stat-line.
>>
>>22539208
Alright, looks like Insight is gonna be the most important. You can go as fast as you want, but if you don't know how to read your opponent and the road, it won't mean shit.
>>
>>22539225

They're all equally important.

Insight won't do you good if you don't have the skill to exploit what you know, or the hope for a lucky break.
>>
>>22539208

After you fill out the forms, Dawson gives you a look. "Only 17?"

"Emancipated Minor." you explain. "Got tired of foster homes. Normally use a fake ID but...." You give him a smile. "Already gave the FBI a reason to hate me."

He nods, and sighs. "Alright then. Let's take you to meet your new car."

"Can't wait." you respond, shoving the last bite of pancake in your mouth as he pays the bill.

About a half an hour later, you meet a Older looking man who's introduced to you as 'Bill'.

At Dawson's insistence, he gives you a spare garage he has on the side of the building, and one of a couple of used cars he hasn't managed to sell yet out back.

>Choose a car:

Weston Kickstarter:

Dur 5, Control 2, Speed 4, Power 5.

The Kickstarter was Weston Motor's attempt at making the perfect American Muscle-car, but ended up being too little, too late. Surprisingly springy in the corners for a high-powered brick, but suffers from a bit of under-steer.

Hinode R1

Dur 2, Control 5, Speed 3, Power 3.

Hinode's a Japanese company still getting their bearings in the world today. The R1 is their first racing car, and in some ways it shows. Definitely easy to control, and not the slowest car on the road. Will make you beg for a mercy kill in a stiff cross-wind though.

Drehzahl Heavy.

Dur 6, Control 5, Speed 2, Power 2.

Someone told the Germans that you can't drift in a Cargo van. Someone over there disagreed. It's slow and ugly, but it'll dance in (slow) circles around most drifters.

The kickstarter may have the most total stats, but it's a lolcan'tturn, and considering how we GOT into this mess...

Totals aren't as important as Stat balance/spread and there's also hidden 'modability' stats.

Actually, Drifting in the Kickstarter is VERY viable with the high power and Speed. It's just.... 'you must be this skilled to not die'.

"What kind of bitch doesn't mod their ride?" you ask, mock insulted. "Then again, kinda broke."

"We'll give you a small budget. Also you'll keep what you earn out there."

"Nice. What do I have to start with?"

"Car, plus five g." He says. "You have two days until the next race that we know of."

"alright. I have a curfew?"

"There's a safe-house two blocks that way." He points east down the street. "Apartment building with the baby-blue paint. You're room twelve, building C. Third floor." He tosses you the keys, and a cell-phone. "In there is my number. I'm your handler until further notice, and you WILL check in every 24 hours."

"What if I can't?"

"Then we're sending the cavalry to either arrest you or save you, assuming we didn't already know you were going to miss the deadline to maintain your cover."

You nod, and then place a few calls to parts houses and junkyards.

A wry grin tugs at the corner of your lips, as you sit on the couch.

You can drive.

You have a car.

You aren't hungry, you aren't tired.

There is no reason you shouldn't be driving right now.

You head back to the garage and do a last-minute check-over on your new ride, before jumping in and hitting the gas.

'You need to get a feel for the car before the race' is what the rational part of your mind is telling you. The rest of you is making little engine noises and giggling.

You haven't been in Blue Cove long, but you do know a few nice places to play.

>General city layout is like LA, only smaller and with the mountains a bit closer to the shore.

Mountains: There's an old coal-plant up the mountain with some beautiful curves. It got shut down thanks to some new EPA regs and now the only people who really go up there are local high-school/college kids to either fuck or drive. The road goes almost all the way to the facility from the edge of town with zero connecting roads.

Airport: Lots of flat ground and straight lines. Also plenty of obstacles. It got shut down when a new 'international' airport opened across town, and nobody really gives a fuck, other than some huge and cheap storage units.

Streets: There's a not-quite-'bad'-but-certainly-no-cops part of town near here. Be nice for some quick runs between the lights and the tracks.

Railyard: Nice simulation of off-road rally-style racing. Your car is certainly CAPABLE, in theory.

Whistling a chipper tune as you try to find agreeable driving music, you head up the mountain.

You take it slow on the way up, and get a feel for what the road looks like.

The top is a flat lot, empty save a single van shaking like a whore in church. It also gives you a nice over-view of the road below.

You Rev the engine and take off, throwing yourself into the first turn sideways.

>time to explain dice

Stats are Dicepools. Think WoD. Base stat+Modifiers+Skill = Number of dice.

Dice are d10s, succeeding on a 8 or higher. 10's explode. Successes are checked against the difficulty.

Going WAY above the target means you get bonus 'style' points, which is used to buy 'Drama'.

Going just over/under is 'you make it, but (modifier) happens'.

Going WAY under is 'Towtruck'.

Drama are things like 'your opponent has a blowout' or 'suddenly avalanche' Or just 'You find a shortcut'.

You are not the only one who can buy Drama, and you lose some (but not all) points unused at the end of the race, so there's motivation to spend or save what you earn.

Since this is your first time behind the wheel, the test is 3(fin)+2(Luck)+2(Reflex)+4(Con)-3(New car)-1(New Ground type).

Dice adds up to five against a target of three for the gentle curve.

You realize as the corner starts that you over-steered a little bit. A gentle kick to the clutch sorts that out fast enough and you complete the corner with a long, smooth slide. You pull back out of it again and gun it down the straight, slamming the brakes after getting up to speed.

Doesn't quite stop on a dime, but if you ease into it a bit it halts pretty damn quick.

After confirming that you throw yourself into the next corner, and feel it leaning JUST right.

As you start to come out of it, you see headlights fast approaching. Must be some of the local kids out to play.

You swerve to avoid them, and manage it clean enough. Both cars come to a stop behind you as you pass.

Good enough.

You decide to keep going, leaving the kids behind you. you smile as you go into the next corners, and discover that the two you passed apparently had an audience following them. Apparently there's some kinda special thing on tonight.

As you continue, apparently word's passed that someone's on their way down the mountain, and everyone gets to the side to watch you pass.

A cleaner course, but less forgiving if they're going to be on every corner. Luckily you've got a decent feel for the car now.

(New car penalty removed, -2 'fucking kids' penalty imposed.)

"There's a tracker in your phone. I decided to call you since you took a second to park."

"Guess again." You reply, flying out of the doughnut and through a pair of open hanger doors without breaking the slide.

"Last resident of my new pad left a wireless headset. We're cool."

"Alright. There's a couple of races tomorrow night that the Circuit is sponsoring. Open invitation to anyone who hears about them."

"Cool. What kinda options do we have?"

"There's a course that's on the mountain highway out of town, over and into the desert. There's also a time-trial one set to be at a parking garage, and some kind of closed circuit in the roads of the old industrial area. Which one do you want to hit?"

"Give him an autograph with your bumper?"

"Damn near. Luckily dumb-fuck had a less terminally retarded friend save him while I tried to steer away."

"You sure?"

"Yes Mom, I'm fine." You sass. "Now let me practice driving like an idiot so I can piss off mobsters for you."

Maybe you're just too soft, but hearing his sympathy... helped a little bit. You briefly wonder when you turned into a little girl when your Age and Gender is suddenly presented to you by your reflection in the rear-view mirror.

You pull over to have a good laugh at your own expense before finishing your circuit and pulling out onto the road.

Car Lesbians is a femsploitation racing game created by 4chan's /tg/ board. The basic premise is that you have a car and you are a lesbian. You must drive around in your car and make out with other lesbians. Characters have two stats: Hotness and Car. These act as dice pools of d6s for opposed rolls or general skill checks; 4s and 5s count as one success each, 6s count as two successes, and every die that rolls a 1 is -1 success.

You pull into your lot right behind Agent Dawson. He nods at you, and the two of you walk into your apartment together.

He shakes his head. "Technically on the clock. I'll take the Chow Mein though." You pass him the box, and he sets a folder on the counter. "Details on where we expect the course to be. Also meet time and location."

"I'll give it a peek later." You assure him, cracking open your beer.

"Also, we need to sort out a cover story. Why I can Waltz in here when you're a criminal." He takes a bite of noodles. "Lake suggested that We go for estranged Father/Daughter. Mother died, we drifted, now having a go at fixing things."

"You'd go after another cop?"

"Justice is worth more than loyalty." He responds evenly, taking a last few bites of noodles, finishing the box off. Oh, and read that file on the race, commit it to memory, it's important.

And before we hit the sack, down a shitload of water, hangovers are primarily caused by dehydration.

And work out details on the "Father" thing. We want to have our story straight, when it happened, when we got back in contact, who raised us when we drifted, if it was our Grandparents or if we just didn't see each other much while still living in the same place. What job our "Father" has, all those little niggling details.

Personal reference, what does Dawson look like? I mean, I know we got a vague description at the top of the thread, but I was hoping for something a smidge more descriptive.

In my mind's eye he looks like pic related

oh, fuck... Disregard file name. That's White Shadow.

I've been writing everything with hi as kinda a Taken Liam Neeson, with a Goatee that's stuck between 'I forgot to shave this morning' and 'I'm growing a beard'.

"Arikawa's a big Yakuza name in the area, but I doubt any of the bigs are gonna show up tomorrow."

"None. The only reason anyone other than me should be calling you is if I'm dead. If it's not me and it's not Lake, go to ground and get the hell out. I'll find you if you're in danger, and if I don't I'm dead and you'll have a headstart on the badguys."

>Time/Location.

You're in your apartment in the south-side of Blue City, in Southern California.

You aren't QUITE in the same world as us, but there are similarities.

Currently, it's the evening of July the 8th, a Friday. 2012.

Warning bells going off in my head.

You'd tell us if magic was a commonplace part of the world, right?

Because I would rather not get blindsided on that one, unless it's rare and not public knowledge.
>>
>>22542216

"Honestly, keep it vague and tell them you don't like tailing about it. Nobody's going to pry into your personal baggage unless they're an asshole. And if they're an asshole, call them on it."

>>22542380

No, it's nothing like that. It's like how 'Gotham' in Batman is some combination of Detroit and Chicago.

Shit like that, so I don't have to exhaustively research real cities and cars.

>>22542384

There might be some weird but plausible tech you don't know about, but outright magic is a no-go.

If you somehow wound up there nobody would know you weren't a local, it's that similar.

Everyone in the world turns out to be a kobold.

Gotcha. Just making sure of things.

I can't think of anything else to ask Dad, so let him head home, read through the file a few times, drink some more alcohol, take a shower, drink plenty of water, get some sleep.
>>
>>22542421
sound like a good plan, also we totally need to find a hot girl to lick whipped cream off her tits when Dad next walks in
>>
>>22542487
Consider it on the to do list. Winning the race we're in next ought to give us a good chance at some cute girls.

Also we need the soundtracks from Initial D and Redline on a portable music player that we can hook up to our car stereo. Not for racing of course, we need to hear the engines, tires, and so on during that, but just for joyriding.

Alright, I'm tired so I shall sleep. If the thread's here tomorrow, I'll keep it going.

I have no idea when the next thread will be yet, but I'd like feedback if you have it. I'm curious as to what you guys think so far.

Also, this was archived already, just in case.

Sleep well.

I'm enjoying it so far, it'll be interesting to see the racing system in an actual head to head race.

I'm liking Samantha as a character, a bit of a blank slate, but we're building on that, it's interesting.

It looks like we can look forward to street races, intrigue, and somehow managing to not get ourself killed.
