With another full moon upon you, rumors are heard in the halls of the temple, that the Kitsune were accepted by the Twin Kages of the village. It seems that a new clan has arrived... How they'll affect the village's flow is yet to be seen...

Shrugging off the rumors of the Kitsune's acceptance to the village, you realize that it'll take some time for them to truly get here.. longer for them to acclimate to the life of unified clans...

Calling back Empori, you meet him at the entrance to the temple after changing into street clothes.
He shares the training with you and over the things that Orime and Kuro worked on. It seems that the two of them got into a bit of a scuffle in the midst of improving their attack. Perhaps bird and Oni just don't mix all that well?
Deciding to check on Kuro, you dispell Empori, thinking of doing an ashless summoning as practice when you aren't so drained.

In the early night, you drop by the Cliff of the Birds... aptly named due to the various roosts that the familiars sleep in on the face of the rock. Asking for Kuro, he comes out, looking rather sleepy, though none the worse for wear considering what he's been through in the last twenty-four hours.

Your session with the Sage of Ash went well from the previous day, your brain feels somewhat sore from all the things he had taught you. A young lady in the ashen robes of your clan drops by with a note written by his own hand.

Reading it, you find that while he shows interest in you as an apprentice, he has other duties to attend to outside of the village... Duties with the other warring nations.

With the new day, you find yourself thinking about your team...
Though of course, there are other things to do around your village, and you could always look into getting another guardian from the temple..

Leaving the Cliff of Birds, You at least have some idea of where Sensei Eddie and Kuro are, though the Keeper did not say anything of Orime, and that kind of bothers you.. She might have been picked up second, but then why did Eddie leave me out of the picture? Perhaps it's just training for Kuro...?
You begin to ask Empori to check outside of the village for you when you notice that part of his illusion is distorted. Asking him to remove it, you find that the rain is messing up his form, and progressively. What an amateur mistake! With an Ash Revival, water upsets the form! You've been in the desert so long, it must not have dawned on you. Dismissing Empori before his ash gets too wet,you consider that the mostlikely place that Orime is at right now... is The House.. That you had wanted to avoid.

Heading there, you realize that you could try an ashless summoning to get Empori back out again, the rain shouldn'y affect that, though the technique is still a bit imperfect...

You offer to Orime that earth techniques are likely something of the soul. You both sit down and try to meditate deeply in the rain... But with the constant drip dropping, it begins to get on Orime's nerves and soaks through her kimono, revealing the outline of her chest. Upon opening your eyes at the throws of her frustration, you too find it hard to concentrate with the thought of her wet cleavage in mind.

Quite quickly, and quite frankly the two of you give up on that endeavor until the weather clears up. The two of you sit under an awning that's usually used to shade resting combatants from the sun.

The two of you watch a member from the bird clan and L/S go at it. The Bird's familiar arcing out lightning from its feathers as its master ignites the surroundings to generate steam for an interesting display of conduction.
The attack fails however as the L/S member disappears in the flash and takes down the bird clan member with the chain of their sickle. The Bird needs to be more mindful of his opponent's strengths.. that's a lot like Kuro...

The rain keeps you from using Empori, and you don't have time to focus for the Hell Resurrection... just then, after she's cleared some distance, she summons a portal to hell, runs in, and it closes... She really must want to be left alone... You make a note with your high intellect that she opened that portal quite fast...

Upon completing the technique, you open your eyes... Only to not see Orime.. Instead you see a rather pleasantly angry horned red man with a Red staff and a severe growl.
