Back in action!

Previous threads:

The year is 2026 and much has changed on the world stage. You were only thirteen when the war broke out in 2014, and like most people know nothing of the details. You do know that it involved the world’s two superpowers, the US and China. You know that nuclear weapons were used, though sparingly, and were enough to shatter one side and cripple the other. You know that the UN and other charity shipments of food and aid trickled to nothing months after the UN troops themselves pulled out.

After that you were far too caught up in the need to secure your own survival in the following nine years of carnage that was the result of a near total collapse of the majority of the African countries. Though you suppose one or two nations may still exist in their original condition the bulk of the continent is now made up of hundreds, if not thousands, of miniscule nation states that are constantly at war with their neighbours or trying to combat insurgency within their very own borders.

While the world stage may now be unrecognisable from what it was 10 years ago, Africa is much the same as it always has been, a cesspit of unceasing violence in a beautiful land.

The Free Kivasu Sate is one such mini-nation. Now 25, a man not unversed in the ways of violence, you are the head of what passes for the authority in your community.

Selected Faction
*Free Kivasu State Army (FKSA)

Picture demonstrates immediate area of community, located to the general northeast of Kivasu’s capital, the town of Doma
.
For purposes of scale, it would take about a week by vehicle to travel to Doma and back and in good conditions it would take about a day to get to Pierche from Bankatu.

Each turn = 1 week, 3 actions per week.
D100 system, higher is better (unless stated otherwise).
Turn Action rolls done on averages
Current Action rolls take best of 3 (crits auto accepted 1-10, 90-100 etc)

Free Kivasu State Army (FKSA)

You are Captain of a company from the 3rd Battalion of the FKSA located in Bankatu, population 390. Understrength, the company numbers 56(1) men.

NASA: 11 (2 wounded, 1 critical)
Regulars: 45
Recruits: 0 (both new recruits are now up to the standard for regulars)
Penal-Legionnaires: 1 (1 Included in NASA count)

Picture depicts the mini-nation of the Free Kivasu State. Beyond the southern river lies the True Republic of Congo, and to the far South East lies Mbete King Country, where the FLDK originally fled from.

Red = Kisavu Towns
Yellow Dot = FKSA Control
Green Streak = FDLK Control
Light Green = Plains, Grass/Farmland
Dark Green = Jungle
Light Brown = Hills/scrublands
Dark Brown = Rocky/Mountainous
Light Blue = River/Lakes
Orange = Savannah

A single tile is equal to roughly a third or half a day’s travel. This is in part due to distance but mostly due to the horrid conditions of the roads and the fact that travel at night is seen as an open invitation to FDLK, militia or bandit attack.

New African Surveillance Agents
You have selected these men to stand aside from the average soldier in 2nd Company. Giving them extra pay, training and equipment, you have chosen them for the most hazardous duties, namely those that involve leaving the relative safety of the town. These men are the best shots in 2nd Company, have demonstrated an unerring gift for camouflaging themselves and are quickly learning to co-operate with each other in the field. They have also recently achieved their first victory in the field.

(NASA):
-Major Sergeant ‘Buk’ Rukuba: Soldier, lecher, gambler, considered to be your right hand man by most. He leads the NASA troops
>Drill Sergeant: These past few months have seen you co-operating heavily with Buk and the NCOs in trying to bring the troops up to scratch. He’s getting into the swing of it and, apart from occasionally being body tackled by panicking troopers, he seems to be enjoying it. +5 to training actions involving Buk (generally NASA training unless otherwise stated)
-Private Yamba: Considered the best shot in the company, eagerly joined the new patrol group.
-‘Meat’ Dede: Rapist, convict, hero, machete-wielding Penal Legionnaire. 3 ‘Missions’ remain.
-Private Mesik: Part Hunde (1/4), member of NASA. Still recovering from his wounds (1 week till he can walk again unsupported).

NOTE:
>Camouflage Experts: The men of NASA have taken to camouflage exercises like a fish to water, Buk suspects they may be descended from Abada forest-dwelling spirits. +20 to NASA covert actions.
>Urban Combat: Despite a shaky, and damaging, start the use of the Hunde Manor in training has somewhat paid of. +5 to NASA actions in urban/building environments.

Other Subordinates:
-Lieutenant Nathaniel: Well-liked by the men for his easy-going nature. Considered to be a bit of a pushover.
>Trader Rapport: The LT has over time earnt a little trust from most of the traders of Bunkatu, +10 to dealings with Bunkatu traders. The Traders may also approach you with business ideas through the LT.
-Sergeant ‘Shakira’ Malike: Ex-casual cross-dresser, now takes pride in his military attire.
-Sergeant Azzam: Big, ugly, doesn’t talk much. Never smiles.
-Sergeant Delacroix: Served in the First Congo War in 1996, believes he’s way too old for this shit.

ADDITIONAL: You benefit from the following bonuses.
>Natural Tactician: Merit played a large part in securing your position. +10 to all tactical and ‘preparatory’ rolls (e.g. ambush setup). More importantly, since you know how damn important it is, you’ve spent your short time here building a solid rapport with your senior NCOs. They can be trusted to support your every decision, at least in front of the men.
>Training Instructor: These past few months have seen you co-operating heavily with Buk and the NCOs in trying to bring the troops up to scratch. You’ve learnt a lot about training new recruits, one of your lessons being that you have to start from the basics and work your way up if you want it to all come together. +10 to training actions, Crit-fails are no longer auto-accepted.
>Perceptive: You have an impressive track record when it comes to reading people. +10 Bonus to perception checks on people. You may request a perception check at any time. You also earn +1W per week from generally coming out on top of any poker(or poker equivalent) matches with your NCOs.

No it's not that, it's that we did in fact kill a child soldier in the last thread.

>>22341424
You are Captain Hannibal Bonaparte, and you are known to have the luck of the Gods on your side. Investigating reports of an attack on a nearby hamlet you sent the NASA squad to investigate. They arrived just time to witness the hamlet come under attack by a massive hostile force, deciding to take advantage of the attacker’s distraction and encircle them in the dark.

Amazingly, perhaps due more to luck and the confusion of the enemy than their own skill, NASA inflicted grievous casualties on a force many times their size. A count of the bodies that have been found put the number of confirmed kills at around a staggering 37, though it is possible some bodies were dragged off by scavengers during the night, only sustaining 2 casualties in return. Meat, the convicted rapist, has had his second trial witnessed, two more trials await him before he is considered a full-member of the company now.

I will admit I fucked up a little last time. There is no way your kill ratio would have been that high without night-vision goggles. So treat any kills recorded last session as ambiguous ‘hits’, meaning you fired and think they dropped, but you’re not sure if they are actually dead beyond the bodies you counted this morning. Sorry folks, will try to avoid stuff ups like that again.

In addition to 2nd Company’s first victory under your command, you have captured 2 of the attackers. Sergeant Major Buk is eager to question them, but would prefer it was in the safety of Bunkatu rather than in the middle of the battlefield. He’s also loathe to leave behind the wealth of arms and resources left on the enemy dead, but it’s still dark and the light from the village fires is dwindling as the fire consumes the last of the small structures. He’s not sure he wants to risk his men to a stragglers or returning forces.

On top of that Pvt Boipelo is losing an awful lot of blood from his chest wound. You don’t actually have medical training, but you’re uncertain that he’d make the trip back to Bunkatu and even less certain that he’d survive the trip to the nearest medical center in Viola.

>Action?
>Strip the bodies
>Question the prisoners now
>Strip and Question (Not like that)
>Leave Immediately with Boipelo
>>
>>22341473
what kind of loot did they have on them? anything useful? also NVG's dont really have anything to do with the enemy grenading themself
>>
>>22341564
if possible send the truck with boipelo to the chapel and see if they can do anything to help the rest of the party stays behind to make sure the locals see us cleaning up (gotta milk this victory for all its worth) and stripping the bodies/taking any weapons ammo and questioning the prisoners
>>
>>22341628
You didn't arrive by truck (which should come back from Doma this week with the shoppng), so you'd have to walk back to Bunkatu, and make a makeshift stretcher as well. The locals have fled, though you don't know if they may be back.

>>22341585
Just whatever they were armed with when they bit the dust. And yes, your rolling was hilarious in that regard.
>>
>>22341789
then have three guys help him get to the chapel have the part hunde (he was tutored at the chapel?) one go with them as escort and two to help him walk
>>
>>22341853
There is a risk in that, the chapel is close and you'd make it before Boipelo bled out, but there is still the risk of stragglers taking a shot at you. Especially in a small group. Furthermore, Pvt Mesik isn't with you. He's still recovering at the chapel. They'd recognise Meat though.
>>
>>22341943
give meat a rifle and send him with them as the escort besides if we encounter any stragglers there is still 3 guys with rifles with boipelo i think wel be fine

1. Journey to Chapel = Meat and his fellows encounter no resistance as they make their way to the chapel. The going is tough of Boipelo, but the makeshift-stretcher (some tree limbs and bark tied together) and the trail they're on means his injuries aren't compounded.

2. Chapel Arrival = Father Hwan is furious to find armed men outside requesting his assitance. He all but refuses you entry, stating that by doing this you have put the chapel and the children who school there in danger. Mama Riziki calms him down, citing Jesus' forgiveness and pointing out that a godly man could not turn away a wounded person regardless of their sins or background. He doesn't like it, but Pvt Boipelo is taken inside to be treated, but only on the condition that Meat and the other soldiers leave immediately.

-----------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, back at the site of the battle, Buk and the others tie the prisoners to a tree and strip the bodies of weaponry and other useful items. Buk inspects each item recovered, the men are entitled to personal effects but weaponry and possible useful information is turned over. The list of goods for the Company are as follows:

-35 workable AKs
-1 Machine Gun
-1 Damaged Machine Gun
-8 Grenades
-1 Map of Bunkatu region (no markings)
-20W of other items that Buk convinces the men should go to the captain (officer badges and the like)
NOTE: From the items and uniforms, though makeshift, Buk is certain that these are FDLK troops. This is worrying as the battles with the FDLK should be far to the south.

By now dawnlight is starting to show, and Private Yamba spots through his scope several figures approaching the village from the road.

Eh, I'm going to run this pretty much all day regardless of how many people show up. And you can hardly blame people recovering from new years eve.
-------------------------------------------------

Jerry nearly shoots Buk when he hails them but Elder Denge stops him. Buk approaches them and fills them in on the events of last night, and who had attacked them. Denge is a tall man, wiry muscles clearly visible beneath his sweat-soaked shirt. On his chin he sports a small tuft of silver lined hair, but that is all he has in the way of hair. He is distraught, his wife and son were killed in the attack.

“But if not for you, my daughter would be dead as well. All of my people would be dead, or worse taken. Thank you.”

His eyes turn back to the smoking hamlet.

"Our home is gone. We knew there were FDLK nearby, we fought them off once before. But there were so many this time..."

He turns back to Buk.

"We already owe our lives to your people, but I would ask one more favour. We cannot live here now, there is too much death. And who is to say they will not return again? I had considered taking my people to the camps in Viola, but it is so far away and this Captain you speak of... Would you escort my people there, to Bunkatu?"

The NASA troops escort the survivors of the hamlet of Linda to Bunkatu, taking with them the prisoners and the scavenged goods. From a hamlet numbering perhaps 40-50 souls only 25 remain. 9 armed men including Denge, and 16 women, children or otherwise infirm.

"Denge stand tall my friend you and your fellows are welcome to join us. We could always use more hands around the town's protection from the rebels. Of course we can provide homes for your families, we fight for much the same reason as yourselves to protect our home and our livelihood."

You also tell him that he and his men will definitely be getting paid, and at NASA rates. You expect him to be at the forefront with the rest of your best fighting men.
There are tears in his eyes as he gets down on his knees and...prostrates himself before you, rambling in his native tounge (which you don't speak). You're not sure whether he is thank his God or you but you are definitely embarrassed now.

I dig all this warlord business, so good luck to OP and I hope this goes well.
>>
>>22344923
Yeah, but does the government have a ton more men than us or are we just about equal to them? There's no point in helping them expand if it will make the nation harder to conquer, though we could go full Caesar and and declare ourselves Emperor of Africa.

You do not have a listing of the company's currently serving, but you'd hazard a guess that the other towns would have roughly a company or two protecting them as well.
The city of Doma is where the main army is located.

So all in all, you'd guess that the Free Kivasu State Army would number around 2,000 regulars IF the serving companies were at peak strength.

Alright. I wasn't suggesting we do anything rash I was just asking how many men the government actually has. In theory we could actually go full Julius Caesar.

I (sort of) stuffed that up just a little, but not enough for it to really matter. Sorry about the wait.
-------------------------------------------------
1. Contact Chapel = 5. Major Critical Failure!
Father Rwan (not Hwan, sorry for spelling) was already angry when a truck full of your men pull up in front of the Chapel. Currently the only children staying there are the orphans, a few women from the burnt out Hamlet to the South-East, and 3 boys from Ikozi staying there till their father’s pick them up.
He adamantly refuses to evacuate, the FDLK have never bothered them before and he has been running this chapel for 5 years now. Mama Riziki is terribly upset, and this infuriates father Rwan further as he points out that the only reason the FDLK would show interest in the chapel now is because they have been treating your wounded. Father Rwan forbids you from ever bringing your wounded here again, saying that you and other men of violence are precisely what is wrong with this country.

2. Integrate Denge’s men = 55.75.
The men of Linda lacked the ammunition, if not the motivation, to hone their marksmanship skills as regularly as you. They are proving to be decent shots albeit largely below the company average. Buk reckons that, in a week’s time, they’ll be ready to start integrating with NASA.

3. Housing the Linda Refugees = 65.
After a week of earnest construction, with most of the raw materials either scavenged or paid for by the refugees, a portion of the old livestock pen has been transformed into a couple of structures good enough to offer protection and shelter from the weather. The refugees are incredibly grateful for the assistance, and you are viewed more favorably by the townspeople as well.

>>22345486
4. Interrogation = 35.
The two prisoners either knew little of anything or have demonstrated impressive spirit in the face of your harsher interrogation techniques. All you can get out of them is that they had been spending the last few months lying low in the jungles until their leader received a message and pushed them northward. They swear they don’t know where the others went, though they can only number about 20 now. You dispose of them by:
>Releasing 1(or both) to send a message to the FDLK
>Public Execution
>Handing them over to Denge’s people

5. Request = 92. Minor Critical Success!
Your report on the current actions is passed on through the usual LT operator and you soon find yourself talking to a Major from central. He informs you that the conflict to the South is taking most of the military’s attention, but he is impressed with your report and assures you that reinforcements will be arriving in a month’s time. With new orders.

6. Boipelo = 58.3. (Crits cancelled each other out).
He is recovering steadily in the medical center and is now conscious. They plan to send him back to you in a month’s time, though he’ll be staying with a relative so no need to pay. On another note, Private Mesik is now walking unsupported again and able to join in on most NASA activities. Private Yamba has hung up his ‘lucky boot’ in the Barracks.
>>

The first soldier is torn apart by the people before he can even be taken to the place execution. The second is far, FAR less lucky. It was easily the most disturbing thing you had seen since your childhood. Buk and a few of the men only stop laughing when they notice your frown.

----------------------------------------
Missive
The missive delivered to you by the Lieutenant bears heavy news. Reading between the lines, you can tell that the fighting to the south has not gone in favour of the government. The town of Sapo was lost to the rebels a few days ago and the military has been pushed back to Bandama, where there is heavy fighting. Your sister company, 1st Company of 3rd Battalion, was almost entirely destroyed when Sapo fell. You are, effectively, the highest ranking officer of 3rd Battalion.
There is a not-so-subtle reminder at the bottom that making this loss to the south public knowledge will be counted as derision and incitement to desert, and will be dealt with as such.

Location: Bunkatu
Population: 406 Civilians, 66(1) Military
Wealth: 175
NOTE: Wages for this month have arrived, and with them your Radio Operator (Corporal Beidi) and a new Lieutenant Hundar assigned to your company. The other Lieutenant who escorted the wages here hands over a missive to you.

NOTE: 2 of the women refugees (from weeks back) have shacked up with members of 2nd Company (one of which is old Sergeant Delacroix). The last one is working in the bakery, providing for the older woman and her own baby son.

NOTE: You have two prisoners who have been enjoying the hospitality of 2nd Company.

Income
+30W Wages p/wk (paid monthly)
+9W Bribes/Tariffs (your cut from the soldiers earnings)
Note: This is considered normal in your country.
+1W Poker Night

Expenditure
-15W p/w Food Ration Supplement (paid monthly)
-6W Extra pay to Patrol Squad (NASA)
-2W Shooting Comp
-3 Medical Bill

Fortifications
-3 Guard Posts at each road entrance, can block vehicles and provide adequate cover for 10
-Villa, looks like it was built to resemble a castle. Will withstand RPGs but you wouldn’t bet on it holding up under sustained artillery.
-High Ground: The Hunde Manor has been torn down and work has started on a new fortification (Needs two more actions).

Actions available: 3

LT Hundar, scowling, advocates a patrol to the more remote regions to the North. Or perhaps to the North-East where the FDLK control some mines.
Sergeant Delacroix, who for some reason cannot stop smiling, suggests either working on the fortification, which is right now just a mound and a trench or two. He says physical integration into the shooting comp can wait until the fortification is complete.
Sergeant Buk wants to concentrate on integrating the Denge's men into NASA (forgot the bonus he gives).

You need to send someone to Ikozi to buy quality wood and materials for a watch tower (12W). You could try to get it elsewhere but it's more expensive.

1. NASA integration

2. Buy Tower Materials from Ikozi (you only have to buy it, they'll transport it down to you)

3. Shopping/Scoutning???

Although not as well trained as most of your own troops, it’s clear that Sgt. Denge ran a tight ship and his men work well together, though not as well with the NASA troops, though they are taking to camouflage lessons well. Buk feels that with one more week of training they’ll be up to the standard for NASA. On top of that he wants 2 more fellows from the Company’s regulars who have shown some promise.

2. Buy Materials = 2. Major Critical Failure!

You send members of NASA to investigate. A farmer near the hamlet to the southwest, next to Lindi, spotted the motorcycle taking the trail to Ikozi. Along the trail your men find no body and no motorcycle.

When your men reach Ikozi they are stopped by armed militia. They are wary, but answer your questions. They did not see a motorcycle arrive, but they ARE willing to sell you the Wood for 36W.

You are Sergeant Benjamin Malike, known to most of your comrades as Shakira. Onetime casual cross-dresser, you have taken great pains to be the smartest dressed man in the Company ever since the Captain spoke of the need for discipline. Now the wig only comes out at parties, or if you think you need extra luck in a poker match in the officer’s mess.

The Lieutenant isn’t an idiot, he knows there is no way these guys got these weapons legitimately so he went around and bought the rest of the supplies first, that way you could get out of Doma quick before someone pegs you for taking part in this deal. Usually the government doesn’t give much of a crap about this shady black-market gun ring, but with a full blown war with the rebels to the south they’re going to crack down hard on any leeches in their system. And you bet they won’t care that you and the Company probably needs this stuff more than they do.

You and the LT leave the truck parked outside of the building, on the side street. All but two of the soldiers get out, leaving only the driver and the machine gunner. You can see down the road a few people passing the street and nearby a few guys are playing some sort of card game at a café, playing an awful music, beyond that the street is deserted. The sellers, or at least their hired guns, meet you outside the doors. The LT, yourself and 2 more men are allowed in. The rest are asked to stay outside.

Noticing that they are also armed you decline to pass over your own weapon, a polished AK-47, though Lieutenant Nathaniel does hand over his sidearm. They shrug when you refuse, leading you through a series of abandoned rooms till you get to a courtyard.
>>
>>22348980

A well dressed man waits with four more bodyguards. Apart from that this place seems abandoned. To the side you can see spot a crate full of the Fn-FALS, about 8 of them. There are another 3 crates behind it. The seller gets straight to business.

"Did you bring the money?"
>>
>>22349052
Give him a considering look before saying "Let me see if these are in working order and you'll have your money."

LT Nathaniel nods. "It is waiting in the truck outside. I thought it best that we see for ourselves that you have not missed anything about these weapons."

The sellers face darkens. "You suggest I lie?"

Your French was never very good, but you manage to sort of follow the conversation as the two argue and eventually the seller nods and the LT gestures that you study the weapons on the other side of the room.

Motioning to your two fellows to stay put you walk over to the crate of Fn-FALs. The weapons seem in perfect condition; in fact they look brand new, you nod to LT to indicate as such. You’re surprised, for 2W you’d expected worn out, jammed relics but these look like they’ve just come out of a factory. You’re not the sharpest tool in the shed, as your mother used to say, but you realize that these goods are hot, hot, HOT. Stealing this from the army can easily get you executed. You don't notice the seller innocuously moving so that he is no longer between your two comrades and the bodyguards, two armed with AKs and the rest with pistols.

You’re so busy pondering the weapons that it barely registers when you hear the sound the loud clack of AKs being turned off of their safety. The two soldiers notice, but they don’t react fast enough to prevent the 6 thugs mowing them down. You leap behind the cover of the crates, knocking one over while Nathaniel makes it as far as the door before being gunned down.

>Uh-oh, what do?
>My roll is to see what you knocked over.

Lower 40 is Fn-FAL, no ammo.
Lower than 60 is RPG with ammo.
Lower than 80 is Grenades.

The fact that LT Nathaniel is dead doesn’t register for you, you just can’t handle it while your own is life is being threatened at this very moment. So you push back that bitterness and resolve to cut these bastards to pieces. You crawl over to get into a position to loud the RPG, it’s pretty damn hard to do with people trying to shoot at you but it’s not like that’s anything new for you. For some reason the seller is making them stop and screaming at them for shooting, probably because it’s his product they’re firing at, and in the brief pause you can hear gunfire outside as well.

You kneel out of cover with the RPG slung over your shoulder, armed and ready, hoping to catch at least a few of them in bundle, if they’ve spread out you think you’d only be able to bag two before they get you in turn. But they haven’t spread out. In fact, as you get up you are greeted with the site of all 7 of them, 6 thugs and the seller, crowded around in a group. He’s berating them, throwing his hands in the air and hitting one of them. It’s too good to be true. He doesn’t see even see you when you pull the trigger but the look of absolute horror on the faces of the more alert bodyguards is numbered as one of your favourite memories, second only perhaps to a particularly delightful encounter with a saucy Peruvian backpacker. Back when backpackers were still a thing.

And still, even the woman who got you into cross-dressing in the first place is perhaps not quite as memorable as the delightful whoosh of the launch, nor the beautiful trail of smoke that the RPG leaves, and had nowhere the same level of satisfaction in seeing 7 of your hated enemies disassembled and then reassembled throughout the room. You look around and laugh when you notice that the seller has been decapitated, his head landing in the arm of another eviscerated bodyguard, as if he was diving to catch it.

As satisfying as that was, there is still gunfire outside.

It also went some way in preventing you running out to find all of your guys dead. But come on, what else would a 100 with an RPG do?
----------------------------------------------
Reloading the RPG, you contemplate the meaning of Peruvian Ass as you trot back through the abandoned building to your truck, where the gunfire is coming from. You arrive to find 3 of your men dead, and the men who had previously been playing poker shooting at the survivors. There are about 4 of them, all taking cover in the café, with the corpses of 3 of their fellows sprawled out across the road. The machine gunner opens fire from the back of the truck again. The bullets patter off uselessly against the concrete building the café is built into, but the none-too-clever thug who took cover behind a turned over table is dispatched.
>Action?
>>
>>22350251

So the Minor Crits cancel each other out but that still leaves a pretty high roll.
-----------------------------------------------

Determined to prove that your last shot was not just a fluke, you point and aim your RPG at the café. Café is a French word, and you were never very good with your French. Stands to reason that your relationship with cafes be equally sour, and blowing one up definitely gets you well on your way in that regard. You don’t have to wait for the smoke and dust to clear before knowing that there is nothing left alive in that café, and there isn’t much of a café left at any rate.
You also may or may not have killed the owner. Oh well.

The surviving privates give a great cheer, you looking every inch the Big Damn Hero. You have other things on your mind, this little encounter clearly hasn’t been on the quiet side. Though amazingly it seems to have occurred all in only a minute or two from the first shot. The forces from central will be arriving soon, but if you get out of the immediate area no one will stop you on account of your uniforms. You need to decide what to do, and quickly.

You pile up the crates into the truck, you didn't have time to check what was in all of them but you know that one contains 8 Fn-FALS and another contains 2 RPGs and 4 more shots. Piling up the bodies is sobering, and the men are quiet as they take off the shirts of their comrades to cover the bodies at the bottom of the truck. You take the drivers seat, telling the men to shut up. sit in the back, and let you do the talking.

You make it all the way to the end of the street before being stopped by a Sergeant and 5 other men. It's far away enough that you're not immediately suspicious, but close enough that he'll be wandering why the hell you're driving away from the shooting when he's been ordered towards it.

Africa has plenty of Gods, though it seems only the God of Style is really paying any attention to Shakira's cross-dressing with approval. And perhaps the God of RPGs.

You make it safely back to Bunkatu, your victory marred by the fact that you have lost so many of your own. The deaths, especially Lieutenant Nahaniel's, is taken hard. The Captain does thank you personally after hearing the report from yourself and the other men, commending you on your actions and congratulating you on your that resulted from your quick thinking.

It could have gone much worse, he tell's you. But inside you guiltily tell yourself it could have gone better.

---------------------------------

With that I think I'll finish up here for tonight. Hope you guys have enjoyed yourselves. I would like to run this again sometime late Saturday (4chan time), but I will have to wait until then to be sure. Even if I don't run it I'll post a thread stating when it will next be up.
