In a time long before any technologies that would bind a Pokemon to a man's will. There were small villages, fortresses, even kingdoms who relied on those who could connect with the Creatures on a new level.

Leaving home, the young man by the name of Tomas Green goes to the capital city to visit his uncle to get a gift for his Eighteenth summer. He hadn't met his Uncle, though his father said he was never happy with small time things and left for the big city with a few traders. Of course, he had heard of your birth and decided to finally send for you.
Most of the time, one would have some sort of ride in a carage or had hoped onto the nearest merchent's carts for a small fee. But the Greens had little money to pay for it, and Tomas knew he always had a connection to Pokemon he met so he could probably bring one with him on the journey.
On the farm there were a few pokemon your family could probably spare for the journey. Which will you take with you?
A: Growlithe: Keeps much of the Herds of Mareep in line. +2 Speed Fire Type (High natural Loyalty)
B: Meowth: The farm's 'Mouser' keeping pokemon out of the barn. +2 Agility Normal Type (Known for finding shiny things)
C: Mareep: One of the farm's Mareep. +2 Con (Creates a Charge)

---

As Tomas explored the forest the night before going on the small journey, he meets his old friend Gastly. Speaking to it for a while, telling it your leaving makes it float around your head sadly.

After a while you ask it to follow you and it floats happily waving his tongue around. He had such a happy smile and a small gold ring appeared around the Gastly.

You have 1 Bond with Gastly.

After that Night you go off onto the road to the city through town. Using the little money your Parent's can spare, you buy a bag with a bed roll, a week of rations, and you have 100 gp left.

As you go to the edges of town, you have two ways to leave to the big city. a path through many larger cities far apart on the large main trade road. The other a smaller road between small villages with a few mountain passes that would have been shorter...

A: Main road.
B: Dirt Road.

As you go to check out the small farm house you see a burst of Fire coming from the other side with two men fighting.

One has a large sword, and is swinging it widely as he battles the other man. Missing nearly every swing.

The other man has no weapon and is rather old looking. He is tossing different small things. Making small balls of fire on his fingers and tossing them like baseballs at the other man missing quiet a few and charring the earth.

No pokemon are in Sight.

What do you do?

A: Help the old guy!
B: Help the Warrior!
C: Let them fight it out and chat with the winner.

"Get out of the way you stupid boy! This man will murder you just as he is attempting to kill me!" The old man shouted as the warrior rose his sword again.

"For Baron Lardron!" He shouted again about to swing again.

With Rightous fury you try and tackle the larger man and hit him around the middle as the old man was able to get back up.

The warrior throws you with great force at the wall before the Old Man hits him in the chest with a lightning bolt launching him across a large field.

Getting up, you had the Wind knocked out of you holding your chest as you get up.

"Boy...thank you for distracting that Boarish Oaf. He claimed my loyalty to the crown was the signing of my death warrent from Baron Lardron. Fool, there is no Baron here or anywhere. "

After a while he looks at his house which ahs a huge hole in it. "Not as bad as I thought it should have been..."

You allow it to run into the forest and Gastly laughs a bit at it wagging it's tongue at it.

Getting up you walk down the road for a while, even stopping for lunch with little interruptions and come to see, in the far distance what looks like a tower. Along the road you also see a trade caravan in the distance.

You could probably catch up with it if you jogged for a while. Or just not approach them as they went.

As a Ghost-type Pokémon, Gastly tend to be pranksters that go scaring people just for the fun of it. They are also proficient at sneaking up on unsuspecting prey and putting it to sleep or poisoning it through their skin. As Gastly's body is blown away by wind, groups of them gather under the eaves of houses to prevent being blown away.

We could put them all to sleep.

"Hello!" You walk a bit closer and see someone on the Pokemon you recognized. The young man was an old friend from the local town. He went off when he went to go train to be a warrior.

"Tomas! It's Jim." He said smiling a bit as he moved a bit. "Come on up. I'll introduce you to Mister Sterling."

He leads you up to the fat man sitting on the cart and looks at you whipping off his chin from sweat.

"Jim, who is this? I have no interest in sharing my cart with anyone. No matter how much coin they have." He said pulling out a fan. He fans himself while looking at you and views the Gastly and grins.

As you nod and smile looking over the pokemon you notice there are mostly pokemon of an 'exotic' nature. Some you've only heard about and others you've Never seen or heard tell of.

There are a few Sandiles from the eastern deserts, a small Sneasle from the northern mountains, and in the far back, closest to the fat man. You can see a small black and red pokemon hiding in the shadows sleeping...
>>
>>22311448
... these are living breathing creatures... its the equivalent of shoplifting a dog...

Talk to Jim, see if this guy is on the up-and-up. If not, I think a camp of pokemon could do with liberation from their enslavers.

But now there's Zorua.. that could be handy.

"I'm sorry but, This is my Pokemon. He got lost a long ways away when I went on a trip to see family. If you don't mind I'll be taking him back." Tomas says firmly.

Sterling glares a bit, "How do you know it's your's. And why should I give it back?"

Jim looks at him and says, "My company does not take well to theives...if you don't give back someone's pokemon they lost it's stealing and...well We'll leave you to the bandits of the road."

The man pales and starts to sweat. "F-fine! Take your damn pokemon." He says looking pissed snapping his fingers to have Jim move the cage toward you and opening the lock.

The pokmeon looks you in the eyes smiling and moves to sit on your shoulder, it's a bit dirty and a even a bit skinny from being in the cage but other wise alright!

You set up your bedroll near the guards with Sterling having his own private little tent.

You feed your new pokemon that day's rations while the guards share their Stew with you.

Jim seemed happy to see you and you have a fine conversation. He doesn't ask about when you went on the trip or anything of the sorts. But he glared a bit at the tent with Sterling inside.

As the night went on, you check Gastly and Zoura out for any injuries. Gastly had none and Zoura seemed still a bit Skittish and a bit hungry.

"Thank you..." You hear as you lay your head down and a few small bits for the Zoura to sleep.

The Next morning you wake up before the rest. You could walk ahead alone, or wait for them to get up.

"What's your name little buddy?" You ask him as you walk up the hill closer to the Tower.

"Shadow, I'm called Shadow." He said smiling.

"H-hey! You stay back you!" It was Shadow still, after a second you hear him continue, "No you can't keep the man in the web." Another bit of chittering, this time closer, "No you can't eat him either!"

"Fine fine! Hold on!" You hear as Shadow runs closer, "Uh...Listen Tomas...It might be a good idea for us to just carry this person outside for now. The Ariadoses are getting jittery...and hungry..." He says in warning as you see a few red shapes in the shadows.

A: Free him now.
B: Carry him out.
C: Write in.

That's my idea. We can come back later, maybe leave the wild PokeMon alone to keep any vagabonds and riffraff away.

Who knows, maybe one day we can get it all fixed up, nice and neat, full of our Ghost and Shadow PokeMon. We could use it as a base of operations to be a Robin Hood-esque figure; after learning stuff from that Wizard we met before, of course.

Hell, maybe the wizard could move in with us.Maybe we will find other companions to turn it into something truly awesome.

You have to pick him up Bridal style but work on bringing him outside running. There are no spiders in your way but...you can Feel all their eyes watching you.

"Thank god for getting me out of there." the guy shook his head.

"Get me out of here...Please." He said as you help pulling away the webbing. As you fear much of his chest and arms, you notice a huge amount of gold chains, quiet a few Fancy rings, and a fine black suit.

"Good...Thank you." He pulls off his leg webbings with you and sat on the ground. "Do you got any food? I'm starving...I was stuck down there sense yesterday when the Damn spiders caught me..."

What do you do now?

We know why he was down there, he bought the place off a hermit; obviously, when one buys a building, one investigates it.

We should offer him some rations, see what he knows about the place. Whatever he's learned might be of benefit when we return.

Let him keep the gold chains, though; he went in and suffered through a lot to get them, he deserves it.

You give him some food and he eats it quickly as he speaks, "I got the Tower after the last guy who owned it Died. The local lord of the lands put it up for sale sense the man had no relatives. I thought it was a nice place, perfect steal for a sort of Inn."

"Glad we came when we did." You said smiling.

"If you want this place, I'd be happy to give it to you or something. If you can get me one of the Damn spiders out here so I can trap it and bring it back home. Those things would be the perfect poison factories to sell to Apothocaries if we kept it alive." He said whistfully.
>>

This, but make sure he's ready to make good on the offer of the deed. Giamt spiders or no, a Tower is a tower.

Could the hermit be the wizard we met before?

We do this thing.
With the help of Shadow's trickery to lure one,

I say we also try to get a spinarak if one comes out. That'd be a nice souvenir...
>>

"I think it wouldn't be that bad." Shadow said on your shoulder. " I mean, if he plans on using it for milking it's Venom. It'll be well fed most likely And kept happy."

"Alright...Guess that isn't that bad Sir." Tomas said with a grin as the man grins a bit.

"I got an idea!" Shadow says and runs into the fallen door, it takes you a second to figure it out.

"He just ran in..." Tomas said, he turned to look at Giest, "Save him!" He runs inside and sees Shadow talking a bit and gets in 'ear shot'.

"Yeah. He just wants Venom. Plus, Tomas is super cool. Saved me from a Fatass, so if he does find out the one who went is being abused. He'll burst in there like a badass and save them."

After a bit more chittering, a HUGE aradidose walks out from the Cellar.

When Tomas say it, he thought it was three.

It was the size of a Ponyta and it looked at Shadow chittering a bit nodding.

"I promise." Shadow said smiling as it chittered nodding again walking out the door.

"...What did you do?" You ask Shadow in disbelief.

"Promised them a home if one left. Of course now they like you since you can't kick them out." Shadow said smiling a bit and hopped back on your shoulder.

"What if I want to?" You ask Shadow.

"They'll bite you, kill you, and fill your skull with Eggs." As shadow says that a small Spinderak falls on your head. It chitters for a second.

"Oh, and he's coming with you."

Another large Head pops out and nods a him, as you think a second and you find a few pens thinking for a second and grabbing a bit of cloth from an old curtain and doodle a small Smily face with Black Eyes, Red mouth, and Bright green nose.

"If you see this. It's cool. Alright? And No capturing people. If you have to Scare them off but no Kidnapping and killing unless they try and hurt you."

As it Chitters he smiles a bit, "Wow...you really just got it for me." He says looking at Tomas.

"Alright, a deals a deal." He pulls out a Signet Ring,a ring that would have a certain symbol and able to seal a letter with a bit of Wax.

"The Ring means the Tower is your's. Along with a bout...3 Miles of forest in all directions except that to the Road." He says smiling a bit.

"Are you going to the Capital?" You ask as you smile a bit petting Shadow.

"Actually Yes, I'm the Son of Sir Emerald." He said with a bit of flair. "Are you going?"

"Yeah. We could travel together if you wish."

"Hold on, I want to go clear out the tower incase there are anything of value inside." You say as you go back in.

"Fine, I'll make a fire. Hell if I'm going back inside there."

You look through a few of the floors and find quiet a few things. All in all you find...

1 X Large kind of Fang.
2 X Bottles of of red junk.
3 X Bottles of Wine.
5 X Rings. (Simple gold)
3 X Stones (1 Leaf, one Dusk, One Dawn)
1 X Short sword.

Along with Three more small gemstones. (All sapphires.) At the top level you also find something a bit...Gross. Infront of the grand study at the top of the tower you find a huge bloody. As in there is a HUGE blood stain on it.

1: Yeah...Not fucking with that.
2: I better check inside...
3: Write in.

That's not much, you think before opening the door with a quick shove. Inside you gawk at what's on the desk.

On it was a pair of Feathers, One Silver and Gold. It was on a small stand. It stands out to you as an item of Insane importance AND value...

You know, i just wanted to share my thoughts with you:

A great tower where we found gold and silver feathers (likely related to Lugia and Ho-oh)

A trainer specialising in Ghost Pokemon.

A badge, to be given to friends and rivals to allow them into our tower, maybe to have a friendly spar?

I think we are destined to become the founder of the Ecruteak City arena.
