OK! Time for me to make some actions! If this is too much guys, just do No.3 (but obviously don't include water bits). Not sure exactly what I can and cannot do.

1. I firstly remove all the swamp water in the area I have designated for my Mangers, the rock barrier stops the swamp water from re-entering.

2. I combine many thick vines and smaller ones into a living pathway, I line the bottom with moss and other such plant life. I raise the edges of this pathway and turn it into a "funnel". I connect it to the nearby waterfall which provides water for the swamp. This water is fresh and I direct the funnel down into the dry area I created.

3. I erect a giant tree in the centre of my soon to be pool, I make it tower over the other trees in the area. I then proceed to cover it in vines for walking and climbing. Hoping the Mangers use it as their home. I make the water pathway twirl around the trunk of the tree, like a spiral, allowing for fresh water to be gathered even up the tree. While swamp water is drinkable for the Mangers, fresh water is much better for them but was not accessible due to the slime and moss covering the wall up to the waterfall. The waterfall comes out from an underground location and thus falls from a cave in the wall.

4. As the water rises in the pool, it eventually pools and overflows the rock barrier, creating a man made waterfall, thus hoping to make it harder to scale. My final act is to place my vine paths from the dry islands in the area and other parts, allowing easy and safe access to both the old swamp and my lagoon.

5. The Mangers can swim, but are not 100% natural swimmers. However, the newly arrived fish (which didn't die as soon as they entered the foetid swamp) act as incentive.
