Welcome to PokeCiv.

You've probably seen the basics of the other Civ games, ranging from a normal realist version, the D&D styles with drow and dwarves.

But this one is the same style but you will have to work with the creatures known as Pokemon. Basically dealing with creatures that can destroy landmasses with battles. Adding a bit of extra... difficulty.

Basically these are the way we're going to do this.
First pick the place where you want to start this little 'adventure'.

The Orange Archipelago will be a very tropical climate with large and small islands. (I have a map to show you to help you pick the island.)

Jhoto and Kanto are rather similar and have normal seasons.

Hoenn is also somewhat of a warmer climate while some of the northern most areas have a bit of ice far from the volcano in region.

Sinnoh is a very cold region with harsher winters and mountains nearly everywhere. This would make living here a bit harder and much more reliable on hunting or finding a steady food source.

Unova has harsher deserts and is quite cold in some areas while some are warmer. It is a very diverse region with large water ways.

Your goal is to basically survive this world. Though many of you think that this will be a large city full of people.

Tribes will have a start of the game.

About 1 child will be born a month and every 6 months they'll become an adult. (Teens and kids are going to been as the same.)
50 Adults.
20 Kids.
5 Elders

You'll have the basics of dirty cave settlements and that's it. If your lucky you'll find fire quickly and how to cook different 'creatures' you can catch.
>>
This also has a mix of different things you can change in the world. If you think of something interesting to give the group. (Magic in some convoluted way.) Totally good too.

Any votes?
>>
Let's go Hoenn.
>>
>>21516252
We'll go with Hoenn in a few if we don't have any other votes.
>>
Any requests for the area to start in the Hoenn region?

The world around them changed. The creatures that caused them to come together wandered the nearby forest, mountains, and rivers.

The small group stayed near the small plain. Away for some of the creatures that would cause them harm. They had banded together for the purpose of survival.

They were being led by an older man with a small beard who had connected them all.

He smiles kindly at them all, "Come friends we must ----"

B: Make some shelter in the tree area near the waterfall and rocky river rapids.
>>
>>21517049
The bridge could be a fallen tree or something. Otherwise, yeah, that's R114.
>>
>>21517049
(Correct.)

A few of the fallen stones and trees give the group an idea. They move to where the water flows down the mountain with much sound and build against the cliff face and the trees.

They make small homes on the cliff and in the trees themselves using very little. As the stones have nothing to stablize them.

And they use this as better than nothing to keep them warm at night.

(Guess it'll work. Exploring won the first one though it seems.)

Two small groups are made. The smaller of the two patrol the surrounding area near the waterfall and closer to the river until splitting up with larger of the two.

The second group is charged with going to the mountain...they trek up a small bit of stones to explore where most of the sounds and lights came from. As they peak over they see marks in the stones. Large gashes in the stones and burnt sections on the side of the mountain.

As one brave soul explores quietly goes around and finds something in a stone pile. He picks the large oval thing before hearing another sound and running away with it in his hands. They head back to the village with the odd oval object which none no anything about.

The leader of the village takes it to examine it in his own home.

The little creature gets out of the arms of the leader and runs into the clearing. The large creature sees it and cries in joy. It makes sounds in between one another and it points to the boulders it is hiding behind.

A few immediately flee while two are stuck in place by fear. A large blast of light destroys the stones the two are hiding behind and sends them rolling down the mountain into the River.

The beast does not follow...but the small creature doesn't come down the mountain after them. It makes the group nervous as they carry their injuried two men back to the village. To let the leader decide what to do while this happens.

As the group comes home, they hear something flying above them again. They see the large mother monster and cower in their village. As they wait for the end...nothing happens. It looks at them and drops an pair of objects.

It wasn't very large. The leader approaches slowly and the little green creature waves from it's mother's back as he reaches it. He takes the object...It isn't very large and an odd black color with an odd feeling flowing through it.

He takes a torch and goes to investigate and instantly regrets it. He nearly has his taken off by a blast of fire and he instantly runs back to the village.

No one dares leave the village to investigate what caused the fire. But all are nervous.

As one of the men who normally went spear fishing went to the river alone. He fished with his spear with more red and blue creatures than normal helping him. It was strange that there were so many. As he fishes more...he sees something crashing through the forest on the other side. He holds his spear carefully as the large black and grey creature jumps over to attack him...or he would have. If not for the river creatures.

As you know...pokemon have a loyalty to those kind to it. Kain, the name of the man who was fishing, had always given plenty of his catch to the creatures. So they had decided to pay him back...they all jump out and bring the large canine down into the river and tear it a new asshole.

Then throw it out of the water, it's ass throughly kicked and now it whined and whimpered hiding behind him from the river who smiled at him. The largest did a flip out of the water as he smiled. The canine whimpered as he walked back to the village. It followed him bloody and injuried.

The village feeds the beast and patches it up. It stays in the village...docile and following kain. Least his fish friends kick it's ass.

The fish have moved closer to the village. Sometimes, as a joke, they put out a torch or a small fire. They seem to be a good natural fire depo.

The dog is instantly brought with a small party to dig a few holes to make watering plants easier. Using the dog's natural strength they dig a few holes. Most don't go deep enough but a few go fine for planting a few things.

The men start to dig pits full of spikes around the area when they break into a small cavern. A few men go in with a torch and find it's fairly large and shines with things in the walls...amazing.

They finish building other small pits with spears in them while keeping the hole to the odd underground bit free from the spikes.

As a small group goes into the cavern...they see it's quiet...well...HUGE. Massive tunnels going around the area from the huge main area with a large fresh water lake. A few of the blue and red fish pop out of the large lake and do a few flips in the crystals that give off a strange light...they find that a few have small tunnels that no one can crawl through. Though strange sounds come from the other side.

As they move down, not all want to go and only a few willingly go down with a few small huts to live in. The sounds during the night are louder in the underground tunnels.

...123...I can do something with that.)

A few men go to the beasts with berries in hands. They stand carefully away slowly leaving them showing they are no threat. They make different sounds as they eat and one makes an odd sound and a blast of fire comes from it's rear end.

They are slowly working toward the village and very docile. Usually making sounds of "Num num...' And "Cama...rup...'
----
The men in the caves work into new bits of it. Finding a few more small caverns and build a way up and down. A few families move into the caverns for their safety.
