Good evening again /tg/! Sorry it's a bit late today; the clocks just changed here in England and it threw me off rather a bit.

Who's ready for some more Civilization Quest?

Previous thread is archived here: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21313143/

Hello!
>>
>>21357822
And it wouldn't be Civilization Quest without our resident, crazy, god-hungry war-monger! Good to see you, Refrek!

Anyone else ready? I'll kick things off in a minute or two.
>>
>>21358061
I'm ready, also don't forget cannibal!
>>
>>21357822

Hey, are you going to continue Company quest? I rather liked it.
>>
>>21358188
I will do so, maybe tomorrow if I have time.
>>

Holy crap, Dicethrower has no dice. It's a sign of the end times.

> When last we left our heroes!

The majority of the tribe stays back, preparing for the worst, while a small group is sent out, downriver, with instructions to hail the strangers and attempt to see if they are friendly. When the scouts encounter the large canoes, they immediately recognise that, until the hollow-log affairs the tribe has, these are very different; frames of light wood, with birch and animal skins stretched over them. They people riding in them are strange too. Some wear skins and furs, much like the tribe is used to, but some others wear clothes only seen once before: The kind of material worn by goddess of love; Yeneth! Many of the canoes have baskets, sacks and pots in them and while their occupants are armed, it doesn't look at all like a war party. When the scouts hail them, the people in the canoes shout back. It is hard to tell, but it sounds like they try two different languages. When both fail, they simply proceed onwards, some of them even taking up a song to keep time as they paddle.

They don't seem hostile, whoever they are. The ones wearing furs look like they are from the large village downstream, but the others are far stranger.
>>
>>21358404
Do anyone think this is a trading party from the city really really far down river?
>>
Here as well. Sorry for my absence on Saturday
>>
>>21358404
The strangers continue upriver, arriving a little behind the fast-running scouts; they don't seem to be in any particular hurry to get where they're going. When they reach the village, the strangers disembark from their canoes and line up on the shore. In total, there seems to be eight in furs and animal skins, with fully twenty-six more in the stranger clothes. The skin-wearers have the occasional knife, or flint spear, though two have spears with a metal slightly different to copper at the tip. The ones in the strange garb however, possess a mix of spears, axes, strange rectangles of wicker strapped to their arm, or nothing at all.

One of the strangers in unusual clothes, who seems to be their leader and wears metal rings around his forearms, call out a greeting in a language no-one, not even Rina, understands. There's a brief moment of confusion, then he tries again, this time in the same language as the clan downriver. "Wolfsbane! We come as friends, to trade with you! Come out and speak with us, or if you are not the Wolfsbane tribe, tell us where we might find them!"

How will the clan respond?
A) Awe them with a display of force
B) Welcome them as guests
C) Take them prisioner
D) Attack and drive them off
E) Attack and slaughter them all
F) Other
> remember specifics. I don't have to say this again, do I?
>>
>>21358622
>B) Welcome them as guests

Let the tradings begin!
>>
>>21358622
B, make it a grand affair for the whole village. Welcome them into our temples and to meet with our wise ones for a brief explanation of our history.Lets show them that giant writing tablet we made with our history on it if we still have it.
>>
>>21358622

B)

"Welcome, honored friends. Can we assume you are the people from all the way down the river? If you are, then it must be providence that you have come to us on the day of this festival. Sit, eat, let us speak in earnest friendship."

.... you're not secretly planning to murder them and taking their stuff, are you?
>>
>>21358622
B) no need to be show offs.
>>
>>21358757
Of course not, making them our friends could give us a tactical advantage over that other tribe and help us trade for better war tech. They are far too strong in the super far down river tribe for us to thin about going to war with them yet. Eventually though...
>>
Does any one else think the reason Rina can't understand them is that they are from a part or place of the land that Chani's part of the river doesn't touch. Could mean we learn about another god. So lets share culture as soon as we can.
>>
>>21358955
I think they're all the way from the sea. They probably have a sea god of some kind and have a port town down there.
>>
>>21358720
> Not sure I remember that one... Refresh my memory?

The gates to the village (still only really held by rope 'hinges' made from animal sinew) are opened and the party of foreigners welcomed in. They quickly make themselves welcome by, upon hearing of a festival, presenting gifts to the gathered tribes. It comes across as slightly too convenient, until someone remembers they must have passed the River Brothers, before reaching you. To the elders of the River Brothers, they present sacks (made from the same material as their clothes) of strange seeds, axes and hoes to clear the forest and cultivate the land. To the Lion Tribe, they bequeath a long, leaf-shaped knife, the length of a man's forearm, which they show to be sharp and strong, by taking a ring of copper, setting it on a log and cutting it clean in half in a single stroke, the blade barely being marred at all! Then they come to the Wolfsbane tribe and ask, "Who among you rules?"

How will the tribe answer?
A) Present the head of the largest family in the village
B) Reply that the heads of each family rule as a council
C) Present a hero
D) Other
>>
>>21359024
B) we don't need a single ruler at this point
>>
>>21359024
>B) Reply that the heads of each family rule as a council

B)
>>
>>21359024
B, we're not gonna lie about our ways of life. it may be strange to them, but after all, we're the hosts, and therefore they should keep the comments to themselves
>>
>>21359024
B) Also include all of our priests on the affair.

We must not become in debt too much with these men though. We are independent and must stay so.
>>
>>21359024
D

Present them with a recently captured Trout.

If they think we're crazy, they wont try to exploit us economically.
>>
>>21359024
Also, we are not the Wolfsbane tribe. We are the Long Fangs, Wolfsbane simply is the largest family among us.
>>
>>21359259
I wrote it down when we came up with the wolfsbane so I know he is write
>>
>>21359291
I am sorry about this post I hit send way to early.

I wrote down the name of the tribe when we agreed on it and like last week I went to the archives to double check and it was wolfsbane.
>>
>>21359316
Huh, I could have sword we were the long fangs.
>>
>>21359316
Ok found it, we used to be the Long Fangs back in the late teens and early twenties, but I can't find where we switched to WolfsBane.
>>
>>21359390
> Yeah, I double-checked it too. Sorry dood.

The man tries to hide a visible wince, before clapping his hands. Another man comes forward, holding a small wooden box. The leader opens the box and lifts out a series of coppery, metal rings. Trym's sharp eyes catch a glimpse of silver being covered by dried grass, before the box is closed. The stranger presents these rings to the heads of the tribe's families, pointing out how artfully they are polished and carved. "Tokens and gifts for the mighty tribe," he smiles broadly, "All these gifts are but a small taste of what I can offer you." Between the common tribesfolk and the visitors (who were very well-pleased with their gifts), the strangers are invited to the festivities, where they drink, dance, eat and generally relax with the everyone else, despite not sharing the same language. (Incidentally, Rina does mention that the reason she cannot speak their native tongue is because their home is not a place Chani has been able to observe. Good catch).

Who will the tribe's council speak to during the festivities?
A) The River Brothers
B) The Lion Tribe
C) The strangers
D) No-one; just let everyone relax and have a good time.
>>
>>21359527
I would like to talk to the river brother but we need to learn about the strangers C)
>>
>>21359527
>C) The strangers

They came here for a reason after all.
>>
>>21359527
The tribe will be fairly long, can we not speak to multiple groups?
>>
>>21359527
C) We must learn all we can about them, do we have any of our lovely alcohol? Maybe we can loosen their lips...
>>
>>21359597
*festival, not tribe.

Also I think the reason he winced is because a council is much harder to sway and control than a single entity. Case in point that tribe down river and it's chieftain, he is obviously in the palm of their hand. I must again emphasize we must stay independent and not put ourselves in debt to this tribe. That path only holds danger.

Also, if we can not talk to multiple I vote for B. They are powerful allies and I would like to discuss their experience with the strangers.
>>
>>21359597
Naturally you can. This is just who to speak to first.

Feel free to take your time deciding what you'd like to talk about! Your GM hasn't eaten yet and would like to make some pasta...
>>
>>21359627
yeah, it is quite obvious that they are trying to buy us out
>>
>>21359639
I say we speak to the Lion Lords first, then the River Brothers, and finally the strangers. Let us talk about their experiences with them before we talk to them. It will give us a better handle on what they want.
>>
>>21359639
Looks like we are going to wait before we can talk to the other tribes. So While we wait every one having a good time.
>>
>>21359760
But don't you guys think talking with the other tribes first will give us a leg up in negotiations with the strangers? I mean if we know what they did to the other tribes and how they interacted with them then we will have a stronger position to negotiate from.

Also, this entire affair was created in order to increase tribe unity and talk about our eventually offensive war against the tribe down river. We still need to talk about that while we are here.
>>
>>21359825
I guess your right so lets talk to the lion tribe first.
>>
Anyone want to say what we want to say before we say it just for the sake of time.
>>
The tribe decides to talk with the Lion Tribe first. It seems from the very start, this is the first time they have encountered the strangers. They seem very pleased with their gift however, showing it off greatly. They seem to consider that the strangers must have lots of such things, if they can just give them away. They seem very eager to acquire more of such things.

Would you like to discuss anything else with them?
A) Make request
B) Offer gift
C) Cultural exchange
D) Discuss military
E) Make agreements
F) Other
G) Talk to someone else
>>
>>21360247
D) First we will discuss the organization of our military and how it will function. I outlined a structure a while back.
A) Make a request of them sending some of their best warriors over to teach our militia better techniques
B) Send some of loud devouts over to do the same for their militia.
F) Discuss what the strangers told them and what they discussed while they were over there.
>>
>>21360247
F) ask them how they plan to use the gift the stangers. ask them if they will use the gift to make more just like it and if they aren't going to then ask if they will let us do it.
>>
>>21360300
my A and B should be combined into 1 and called a cultural exchange.
>>
>>21360300
The Lion Tribe seem somewhat uninterested in discussing the 'structure' of the oath to aid one another. They seem to think that if you need help, they will provide it and expect the same. They don't really see the need to complicate matters. Likewise, they say that if members of either tribe wanted to train together, they would be happy to agree to this, but will not order anyone to take part.

There also appears to have been some mis-communication. The strangers must have passed by the River Brothers' village to reach here, but this is the first meeting the Lion Tribe has ever had with them.

>>21360310
The Lion tribe hasn't got the first idea how they'd use the gift to produce more like it. It's the finished product; there are no clues as to how it was made, or how the metal is so much harder than copper.

Will the tribe discuss anything else with the Lion Tribe?
A) Make request
B) Offer gift
C) Cultural exchange
D) Discuss military
E) Make agreements
F) Other
G) Talk to someone else
>>
>>21360772
F) ask them who they acquired the sword from if this is their first time meeting the strangers.
>>
>>21360810
the strangers just gave it to them right now.
>>
>>21360830
Oh, never mind then.
Then I vote for G) Talking with the River Brothers.
>>
>>21360870
G) thanks for the talk hope you are enjoying yourself with the festival I hope our friendship will grow in the years to come river brothers.
>>
>>21360810
> herp-a-derp

>>21360870
>>21360935
The guests from the River Brothers are struck unawares by the strangers arrival. Apparently, they must have been just behind, reaching the village after the delegation left. They do seem to be spending a great deal of time talking with them however.

What will the tribe discuss with the River Brothers?
A) Make request
B) Offer gift
C) Cultural exchange
D) Discuss military
E) Make agreements
F) Other
G) Talk to someone else
>>
>>21361054
A) please tell us the extent of your relationship with the strangers what have you received from them what have you given them?
>>
>>21361054
D) Discuss our pact to aid one another in defense in times of war and discuss the renewed possibility of an offensive war against the tribe down river.

F) Inquire as to how Tyrm and his wife are doing.
>>
>>21361162
The guests don't know who they are unfortunately.
>>
>>21361261
I think they no more than we do about the strangers. So why not ask them about it.
>>
>>21361367
Does anyone want to have a proposal of making this festival a yearly event, and each year we switch between one of the tribes in the dominion (except if we have conquered a tribe in that year, then we automatically hold it in that tribe).
>>
>>21361411
maybe sounds like it could be fun.
>>
>>21361411
Yeah, that sounds like it would be a good idea. Building relationships and all is never a bad idea.
>>
>>21361054
A. I'd like to see if we could trade them something for a sack of their new seeds. For all we know, the seeds could be something we haven't chanced upon yet and new food is always good nice for the trive
>>
>>21361474
I was wonder just to day what ever happened to all the other people. Glad your not dead.
>>
>>21361510
Pardon, tribe*
>>
>>21361162
The guests are a little confuse by the questions and accusation implicit in them. This is the first time they've met this new tribe, they protest! The tools and seeds they have been given now are the extent of what they know of. If they have traded with the River Brothers otherwise, it must be after this party left for the festival!

>>21361209
Trym and his wife are doing splendidly. They're here for the festival in fact. Syfron is expecting her first child some time this year!

The River Brothers flat-out refuse to discuss the defensive pact, the elders asked about it having grown quite sick of the topic. They further impress upon the council that any aid from the river brothers in an attack downriver is out of the question! This is the first contact they have had with the strangers, or the other tribe and so far, they have found absolutely no reason, or basis for the tribe's accusations or plans! They warn the council not to speak of this to them again!

What will the tribe do now?
A) Make request
B) Offer gift
C) Cultural exchange
D) Discuss military
E) Make agreements
F) Other
G) Talk to someone else
>>
>>21361511
Nope, not dead, lol. I work from Midnight until noon during the week but I try to get here for a couple decisions when I can. Saturdays though, I'm here all day.
>>
>>21361555
I keep missing Saturdays being that is the only day I have to actually get shit done.
>>
>>21361534
G) lets talk the the strangers

I wonder why they are so apposed to war.
>>
>>21361534
A. Once again, see if we could trade for on of those sacks of seeds and maybe a hoe or two. I'm sure they're better than what we have.

And

"We apologize for our previous insistence of a mutual defense pact. Some of our more "worrisome" members are certain this new tribe represents some sort of threat and not the opportunity to learn and grow that they clearly are. We apologize again for this and seek only to expand out trade and agreements with your mighty tribe. This topic will not be discussed again and we thank you for attending this festival in good faith of our continued cultural experience."
>>
>>21361534
F) Tell them this is not the tribe that we want to attack, but a different tribe from even farther down river. Also, do not be taken in by their gifts, it is obvious they are trying to buy us all.
>>
>>21361654
Yes, but this is a different tribe, this is the one from near the sea not the ones who we have met before.
>>
>>21361676
Even so, the only tribe that wants anything to do with defensive pacts is the Lion Tribe. It would just be easier to drop the topic until something happens or is about to happen rather than risk pissing off people we depend on.
>>
>>21361710
That's just it we don't depend on the river tribe.
>>
>>21361710
However we do not depend on the River Brothers. If anything in the past they have depended on us in order to not starve.
>>
>>21361774
How do you figure? They could possibly block us from traveling farther down river if they wanted to. We also use their village as a stopping point for resupply when we explore past them. Hell if our food supply gets any worse, we'll probably need to trade with them for grain. I don't know if you noticed, but the lion tribe doesnt seem interested in farming. Heck, we don't even know if they farm at all.
>>
>>21361873
Militarily we are far stronger than them, and they have been forced to come to us or face starvation. Honestly we are a much more powerful tribe than them and if necessary I am sure we will be able to put down any resistance. Besides, they will not to to war with us. Our tribes are joined under a single family, inner house politics are just that.
>>
>>21361873
I'm not saying the tribes further down river wont dick us over at some point, but pissing off tribes this close to us by bringing up a point they already refuse to talk about on multiple occasions wont do any good. And we might as well learn as much as we can from those other tribes before shit hits the fan. That's all I'm saying.
>>
>>21361873
At this moment we don't depend on them and I aim to keep it that way. I am Pretty sure that after this summer we will be able ,if we work on our food supplies, to get enough food to last us every year. In the past we just weren't worried about food until it got bad since we didn't prepare for the future it has come back to bite us in the ass just a little bit.
>>
>>21361971
And do you think it would just be us again them? You don't think possibly think that these tribes from father down the river won't see that the river brothers are more easily controlled and help them beat us? I don't know how deep britfag wants to go with this, but real life shows that such things do actually happen a lot.
>>
Britfag I have a question but I was looking at the archive and the difference in population between part 31 and 32 is a lot and there seams to be no reason for the change?
>>
>>21362023
That's why we need to emphasize the military pact, they are obviously infatuated with the tribes down river! We need to make sure they don't end up being controlled. Doing this now could prevent them of being out enemies later.
>>
>>21361654
The River Brothers agree to trade, but at a later date, once they have got some use out of the gifts themselves.

>>21361660
The River Brothers reply curtly that they will be the judge of the friends they keep. The gifts are appreciated and they shall not deny them or suspect them without good reason. They coolly refuse to have any part in any attack and refuse to make any further conversation.

>>21361636
The strangers are having a high old time! Being new, they command a lot of attention and certain things surpass language barriers. Drink is one of them! The leader seems least inebriated however and is quite ready to talk.

What will the tribe discuss?
A) Trade
B) Technology
C) Traditions
D) Other
>>
>>21362060
Forcing them into something they don't want to do in the first place will make them love is then? No, I dont think so. Killing people because they don't want to do something sounds a bit overzealous and it will only create an enemy anyway, my friend.
>>
>>21362146
B) Tech is the most pressing thing we need.
>>
>>21362166
I should really proofread things I write. Typos. Le sigh.

A. Trade. We need things, they have things. They'll probably be a bit iffy on giving away tech secrets but there are other ways to get tech than outright asking for it if you catch my drift.
>>
>>21362146
C) I want to know all about the religion if they have it what gods do they worship stuff like that do they have a head leader or what.
>>
>>21362209
>>21362218
>>21362201
Lol, we seem to have a three way split.
>>
>>21362252
I don't know why we can't do all 3 of them. They tie in nicely
>>
>>21362302
Just means more work for britfag that all.
>>
>>21362302
I remember something like this happening many, many threads ago. Or maybe it wasnt like it.

If I do recall correctly though, when this shit happens it either gets rolled on or it's split and nothing is all that effective. I still call for trade myself, you can still learn a lot of stuff from trade and we could always entice somebody away next time we travel down river with a payment of some kind to teach us tech.

You know, bring up a farmer with the offer to become an esteemed member of the village if he shares what he knows and all that shizzle. Bring in a miner who knows how to look for deposits. Just my idea though.
>>
>>21362367
No this is a talk so we get to do all three.
>>
> Sorry about that folks. Burning me some (very late) dinner. God there's a lot here...

>>21362046
Yeah, that's a result of my bad forward-planning. What you saw was the regrettable result of an un-tested system. I think it's fixed now though... Mostly. I'm learning here as much as you folks.

Now, much as I'd like to go on with the discussions... NO-ONE WAS SPECIFIC! I cannot work with NOTHING here people. PLEASE, in future, give reasoning, or a little flavour text. ANYTHING. I'll delay this action a little longer, so people can get their word in.
>>
>>21362779
I said I would Like to learn about the gods if any they worship and what kind of leader do they have.
>>
>>21362813
*The gods they worship if any. I need to think before I post.
>>
>>21362813
well, let me be a tie breaker and support this
>>
>>21362779
I would like to know what kinds of technology they have in terms of war tech, siege weapons, advanced tactics, metallurgy, and what that blade the gave the lion lords is and what it is made out of.
>>
>>21362813
and I guess for fluff I can say " We the wolfsbane people have many gods that help us but we were wondering if you worshiped gods like us or your like the river brothers who do not know a god."

"We have a council of elders that help and guide the tribe we were wondering what kind of leader do you have that guides your tribe."

" For trade do we have anything your people would be interested in trading for your metals that were used in the large knife."
>>
>>21362779
Fudge it.

B. "We see that your tribe possesses a new type of metal which our tribe could make great use of in a number of different ways. Clearly by the use of that long knife you have given to the Lion Tribe it appears to be much stronger than what we currently have and we would like to learn its secrets.

With such knowledge we would be more able to feed our tribefolk and strengthen our defenses to bring a little more security to our people against the harshness of our world. We could build better homes with which to keep our people more comfortable in the cold winters so that fear of freezing would be a thing of the past. With your help, we could do many great things. What we ask is a trade to better ourselves and our neighbors. As we once did with the Lion Tribe, we wish that you send up a scout who could find such metals and a smith who could teach us these secrets. We assure you that they would be held in high regard and would not lack in the essentials of life.

If this request sounds fair to you, I am sure we could reach an agreement that would be beneficial to both sides in this great exchange."
>>
>>21363025
Specific enough, Britfag?

Also, I mean, we could totally make weapons with this new metal, obvious, but that probably wouldnt have been good to point out aaaaand they probably already know that anyway unless they are not so smart, which I doubt.
>>
>>21362813
The lead trader smiles and explains that their village is ruled over by one chief, who is chosen from among the families, by a council of the family heads. For three generations, this practice has brought them great prosperity, he claims. Their gods made them from sea foam and driftwood, thus, they are a divine people, unlike the other races who simply came into being. Among the other gods they revere are the likes of Yeneth, whom they were able to discover and pay homage to, thanks to their advanced lifestyle giving them the spare time to think on things like love. He invites several of the tribe to visit the village and see its wonders for themselves.

>>21362873
The man laughs when asked on the military and gestures to his own guards with a shrug. The metal though, he explains is called 'bronze' and is very different to copper. He refuses to say any more on the matter however, save that he can sell it to the tribe, if they so desire.

Anything else the tribe wants to ask?
A) Trade
B) Technology
C) Traditions
D) Other
E) End conversation
>>
>>21363117
I don't suppose we could trade them for some bronze and then secretly send Hrunti's priest down with them to spy on their mining facility, eh?

Or I suppose we could send the delegation down with the sole purpose of trying to find out the same thing but along more conventional means.

I mean though that Hrunti's priest would probably be better able to hide and get back to us with anything observations he may have made. I don't know.

I guess we're stuck trading for bronze until we find some tin. That said, there is probably tin in the river since that's where most ancient sources found it, but that would be meta gaming.

D) We would Like to send a group of our people to go and see your tribe but we fear that we have not idea were it is can we send a group with you and they will return when they feel the need too.

What do you guys think of the idea?
>>
>>21363356
Sounds good to me.
>>
>>21363117
A) Ask when we can discuss trade.

Also, these guys are nice and arrogant. I have some nice ideas.

> Is actually a bit clueless about where tin might be found
> Thanks!
> But who says it's in your river?

The trader agrees to take a small (no more than six) party with him, back to his village. He also gives directions; that it is straight down the river, all the way to the coast, then the village should be clearly visible, even from a great distance!

The stranger agrees quite readily to speak of trade on the following morning, as soon as his head stops ringing from the noise and the berry liquor he has drunk. He remarks that it is rather stronger than what he is used to.

The festivities wind down for the evening, though they are set to continue several days yet!

Lets turn them into Irish drunks trade liquor like crazy.
>>

Tin would be find around rocky costal areas.

The following morning, the trader lays out his goods for the clan to browse. While Rina agrees to translate again, she does voice an objection, "I feel as though the tribe has come to rely upon me. In some ways, it is a good thing, but I often feel that I am the only one called upon, when anyone needs to speak to another tribe. I don't mean to complain, but... If anything were to happen to me, surely it would be better to have someone else who is able to speak other languages too?" Having said her piece, she once again returns to translating for the council and the Wise Ones.

The trader has a selection of goods he is willing to barter for, including lengths of the strange material his clothes are made from, a variety of woodsman's tools made from bronze and several pretty copper trinkets. There is even a drinking bowl in silver and a pair of arm-rings made of the same metal!

"Come, buy and trade. Tell me, what might you have for me, in exchange for these items?"

I am confused is that you britfag or is that what we will do tomorrow.
>>
>>21363786
How the fuck did I forget my own name?!
>>
>>21363882
What other thread are you posting in.
>>
>>21363911
Nothing of interest at all, just nothing that merits namefagging in. Guess it's later than I thought! We'll handle the trading, then leave it for tonight. We have a decent amount done.
>>
>>21363786
Go for the woodsman's tools. They'll be most beneficial in my opinion, but new clothes wouldn't hurt either I suppose.

And trade them berry liquor. I think they enjoyed berry liquor.
>>
>>21363786
We don't need individual items, we need information. What is the price of the secret of creating bronze?
>>
>>21363786
Trade the berry liquor for the clothes. Maybe we can figure out how to make our own with some sort of reverse engineering.
>>
>>21363956
We wont get it from these guys. It would be best to just have our little delegation try and scope it our and learn what they can when they go down river. There is always somebody with the knowledge willing to trade it for a price and they cant watch everybody all of the time.
>>
I suggest sending hrunti's priest along with delegation. Hopefully he will be able track down the metal bronze and how its forged hopefully acquiring a sample of tin.
>>
>>21364119
I agree.

>>21364018
Fine then, I suggest we buy ourselves those woodmen tools and some cloth. We should offer some of our instruments and berry liquor.
>>
>>21364119
Excellent idea, sir.
>>
>>21363935
The strangers aren't particularly fond of the berry liquor this morning. Its strength has put them off somewhat, it seems. They are willing to trade a variety of bronze tools, in exchange for many jars of the liquor, various bone and copper knick-knacks and several animal skins. Likewise, they will trace cloth for much the same.

When asked, the trader just bursts out laughing, "More than you can afford, friend! More than this entire little village!"

> God damn, I'm actually falling asleep. Well, you have until the next thread to contemplate the kind of trade you want to make.
> The next thread will be on THURSDAY at 1630EST. I'll be sure to check it in plenty of advance, as I know the clocks are being fiddled with about this time of year.
> I hope you all have a good evening and a nice couple of days! I hope to see you next time! Bring friends! The more the merrier!

> Night all.
