Greetings Fatguys and Catgirls, and welcome BACK to /tg/'s Dragon Quest!

This is Halmorra, a continent home to all manner of creatures great and small, smart and dumb, peaceful and violent. And none are greater, smarter and capable of more violence than Dragons.

Capable of living for thousands of years, there are no more than a hundred or so of these creatures in existence. Titans of Nature, Primordial forces, Living Storms, Winged Death, Benevolent Healer, a Dragon can be all of these things.

Part 1: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21105648/
Part 2: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21120178/
Part 3: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21139200/

Last time on /tg/'s Dragon quest you:

Acquired enough XP to become a Steel Dragon
Found out that you had been asleep for 6 months
Spoke to the hermit properly for the first time
Found out his backstory, and that your armour had caused him to de-age
Rolled a Nat 20 on your first flight check
>>

You currently have 33xp. You will reach the final stage of you life at 50xp

You abilities are:
Spew Molten Metal
Glide
Short Distance Flight (As you rolled a Nat 20 on take off, I'll overlook the 'short-distance' part for now.)
Wingblade
Tailblade
Steel Body
Major Magnetic Manipulation
Heal

Your current knowledge is:

Forging/Crafting: Masterwork
Speech: Advanced
Human social knowledge: Basic
Biological/Healing knowledge: Advanced

Now. Lets get this show on the road.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

You soar through the air, looking down at the world. It seems so small from where you are, it seems weak and brittle. You like it.

Malkon clings to your horns in fear, clearly Humans are not accustomed to such methods of transport.

"Actually..." Malkon begins, you can barely hear him over the sound of air rushing by. "I'd like to make a little stop first."

"Where to?" You as, slowing down and hovering in place.

"The Barbarian Tribe." Malkon replies. "I want to settle that score first."

You are currently heading North towards Kano.

What would you like to do /tg/? (And yes you can ignore Malkon. And yes you can go anywhere on the map at the moment, I'll do my best not to railroad you guys.)

Your first flight took more out of you than you realise, and you crash to the ground. Hard. Your legs fold underneath you as the force overwhelms them, causing your head to slam into the ground, hurling Malkon forward and dealing 36 damage to you.

Your health is now 414/450

The Hermit grabs hold of your horns and barely manages to stay aboard, crashing into your horns which deal 11 damage to him.

Malkon's health is now 49/60

The Barbarians stand in shock, their mouths agape, unsure whether to laugh, attack or flee.

Groaning as you raise yourself off the ground, you hear Malkon panting slightly.

"Are you well, friend?" You ask, the concern evident in your voice.

Malkon chuckles despite the pain. "Yeah, I'm fine. Your thick head took most of the blow."

Malkon sits up straight, and begins to address the poorly dressed crowd.

"Gentlemen. For 16 years your lot have bothered me. Every month you came to steal what little I had, every month you would come to hurt what little I was. Safe in the knowledge that all I had to defend myself with was an old rusted sword."

The grins had dissapeared from the faces of the Barbarians, who now looked angry. Malkon continued.

"Well...now I have a new sword, and as you can see..."He says, gesturing to your mammoth form. "It's a big'un."

Grinning you face the Barbarians and roar, spewing molten metal across the ground and through the air, coating almost a dozen men who scream and flail in agony, before being frozen in place, their twisted forms now a shining silver.

"Now...." Malkon said as the Barbarians scrabbled to get clear. "Who'd like to be the first to apologise?"

Green dragons start with 200 HP and evolve into nature dragons, the one we fought had 500 HP

(You're supposed to be rolling a D20 bro, but I can adjust the result into D20 modo.)

You crash your claw into the ground, shaking the Earth and sending dirt spraying in all directions, tilting your head to look the Barbarians in the eye.

The Barbarians remain frozen in disbelief, unsure of what to do. Another stomp seems to get your message through, and one by one the Barbarians begin to drop to their weapons and kneel. It takes sometime before one of them gathers the courage to speak.

"Please uh, forgive us oh Caveman." He grunts, his voice grating and broken. "We were playing. All we do is fight the South Tribe, eat, then fight again. We needed entertainment."

You feel Malkon slide off your head, then see him approach the man, his armour glowing bright in comparison to the Barbarians dull furs. For a moment they stare each other down, seeing what the other will do.

"Entertainment?" Malkon replies, almost in disbelief, his voice betraying traces of anger. "You saw robbing and beating an old man as ENTERTAINMENT?!"

With a swift movement, Malkon smacked the backside of his hand against the Barbarians face, catching him off guard and causing him to fall sideways.

The other Barbarians begin to move, but none dare interfere within your presence

"MY. PAIN. IS. ENTERTAINMENT?!" Malkon roars, punctuating each word with a kick to the Barbarians stomach. "16. YEARS. OF. YOU. BASTARDS."

There's blood pouring from the Barbarian's mouth now.

What do you do /tg/?

>>21192205
Your HP rises depending on how far along you are to your next life stage. You literally only just reached your second stage. Green Dragons and their following evolutions are the second hardiest creatures, second only to your kind. That Nature Dragon has been around a lot longer than you.

The air is quiet now, the only sound for miles is the dull thud that Malkon's boot makes as it hits flesh. You almost find yourself bobbing your huge head to the rhythm.

Out of the corner of your eye you notice something, then your hear it. The tiniest of whistles. Turning your head, you see a several arrows hurtling towards you and Malkon.

Bringing a single wing forward, you cover Malkon from the silent shafts and they hurtle into your wing and bounce off with a metallic *ping*, dealing 1 damage.

Your health is now 413/450

You both turn to see your attackers.

A large group of men is now approaching, wearing similar furs to the men already kneeling. Leading the group is a large human, taller than Malkon and almost three times the width, this man is wielding an axe with a handle longer than your claws.

"WHO DARES?!" The man roars as he approaches, clearly less easily intimidated by your stature than his...underlings? Perhaps in this human society, leadership is dictated by strength. You wonder if this applies to all human culture.

You roar, your voice thundering across the land and echoing through to the heavens. "A Dragon dares, human. Drop your pitiful weapons, and I may spare your frail forms."

The Chieftain's face twists into a growl, his sense of survival wrestling with his ego.

"And if I refuse?" He mutters under his breath, barely loud enough for you to hear.

There is an almost inhuman scream as the Barbarian is devoured alive, his cries of pain reverberating around your throat as he slips down is, his still-living body burning in the molten metal that lays withing you.

You turn to face the rest of the Barbarian tribe, who have now all fallen to their knees and are watching you closely.

"You claim to know this Dragon's lair?" You ask, contempt and doubt evident in your voice.

Beads of nervous sweat appear on his brow as he nods, his eyes teary, but truthful. You raise your head away, the man's unclenching is almost audible.

Small, cuboid houses surround the base of the spire, unfurnished but secure and weatherproof. Smaller, triangular huts mark the gorund just a bit further from the centre, showing where the original encampment once stood.

In the middle is your gleaming spire, which stretches towards the sky, a circular roost extending outwards at its tip.

What do you do /tg/?

(the next post will be the last, been at this for 5 hours now.)

Fly around for a few minutes and memorize notable landmarks.
After that, go land in the village we originally planned to go to.

You spread your wings and roar, pushing down and hurtling into the sky, the force of your wingbeat sending the Barbarians stumbling backwards.

Whilst in the sky, you hear Malkon speak to you.

"I'm worried about you." He wonders aloud...

---------------------------------------------

And thats all for tonight folks, hope you enjoyed the show!

You defeated a group of Barbarians and slayed their leader! That deserves oh...2xp?

You now have 35xp. You will reach the next stage of your life at 50xp

Your HP is now 480!

As for landmarks, you've already got the nearby ones located on the map in the OP.

In any case, I need a rest.

Good night guys. I'll be back soon for more Dragon adventures!
