Last time on Mobile X Destiny, Anon-kun experienced the realm of dreams, where he was able to interact with the girls in his immediate social sphere. It was a unique experience for him. Following that, however, he found himself in another dream, one where life seemed to be completely distorted. After being awoken by Miyuki, the cycle begins again. What will happen today?

"I guess it was a dream," you mutter. Miyuki is looking at you with a smile on your face, and you suddenly feel like an idiot for talking to yourself. "Sorry," you say with an apologetic look on your face.

"It's fine," she says, rolling over you and over to the floor. "Just had me worried there for a second. You normally never sleep talk."

"Normally?" you repeat, curious.

"Well, yeah. That's the first time that you haven't slept normally, I guess," she says with a shrug. "Not a big deal, though. I'm going to take a shower, so be a dear and get yourself ready for today." You grumble as you climb out of bed and head for the bathroom.

"If you're going to shower, at least let me go in first," you say as you slip in past her. You quickly use the bathroom, wash your hands, and head downstairs to cook breakfast. It's nothing special, but once you've set the table, you see Miyuki come downstairs dressed and ready to go. "Enjoy," you say as you head upstairs to shower. Once you're done, you get dressed and head back down to eat. A few minutes later, the front door opens.

"Morning," Chiyo says as she shuts the door behind her. You wave to her as you finish your breakfast, and she sits down close to you. "Did you sleep okay last night?" she asks.

"Well, I had some interesting dreams last night," you say.

"Oh really?" Chiyo asks. "I did, too, though mine were happy dreams."

"It's weird," Miyuki interjects, "Because I did as well. Well," she adds, "They were interesting, anyway."

"What did you dream about?" Chiyo asks.

You start to say, but your cellphone vibrates in your pocket. "Uh," you say, "One second..." If this text is from who you think it is... Your jaw drops when you read what Roslyn said to you. 'The potato woke up.' That's exactly what you told her to tell you if she was in the actual dream. You feel your pulse race a bit. Can this actually happen? You've seen it in manga and anime, even on some TV shows, but actually sharing dreams? It's straight out of fiction. You wounder if you should respond, but then you notice Chiyo and Miyuki looking at you strangely. You realize, then, that your mouth is hanging open.

"Is everything okay?" Miyuki asks.

"Right, I have just received confirmation that our dreams have more meaning than we thought. They're probably prophetic or meaningful in some ways, and can be shared between multiple people.

So, tell me your dreams over breakfast."

Text back to Roslyn, "Huh, didn't expect that to actually work. Sorry about the shoe. We'll talk more later."

"Yeah, it's fine," you say to the girls at the table. You glance down at your phone and decide to mess with Roslyn. '? Wat?' You type it in English and send it back to her, then focus on the task at hand. You clean your dishes and head back into the living room, where you get your stuff. "Time to go, I think," you say.

"Yeah, let's go." Miyuki and Chiyo stand and follow you out the door, and the three of you make your way to school. As you're walking, you notice Chiyo is walking rather close to you, and is between you and Miyuki. You ignore it for the time being, and you all head to class.

When you walk into homeroom, you see Sayuri sitting at your desk. "Good morning, Anon-kun~"

"Good morning," you say as you set your bag on your desk. "What's up?"

"Nothing~" she says happily. "Just bored..."

"Did you do your math homework?" you ask.

"...Maybe."

You pick Sayuri up out of your desk and sit down, still holding onto her. "You can't sit in my desk all through homeroom," you tell her playfully.

"But onii-chan~" she says stubbornly. "I was there first!"

"You can sit right where you are," you say, "Or you can sit in your own seat." She's currently sitting on your lap, so you're fine with either option. You make sure to keep hugging her, though.

You glance over and see Chiyo staring at you, and she looks jealous. She turns to Miyuki when she notices you looking at her and starts talking as if nothing is amiss. That's when you see the door open and Roslyn walks in. She stalks over to her desk and sits down, but says nothing.

You wonder if she's upset about this morning? She shouldn't be, though. If anything, she should just pass it off as nothing, maybe even claim she was sleep texting. At least, that's what you would consider doing to save face. You feel Sayuri struggling in your arms, but she resigns to her fate.

[X] Talk to Roslyn

"Sorry about that shoe thing."

We've already messed with her, but we really ought to get the dream thing out in the open so we can further understand it, mobile gears and all that, because the more we know the less likely we are to die horribly.

You look down at Sayuri who is looking rather comfortable in her current position, so you call over to Roslyn. "Roslyn? Can I talk to you for a second?" She glances over at you and sees Sayuri sitting in your lap. She rolls her eyes and walks over to you.

"What is it?" she asks. She's clearly grumpy.

"Sorry about the shoe thing," you say with a small smirk. You still think it's entertaining. "Also, sorry about messing with you this morning with the text."

"I knew it," she says angrily. "I was thinking I was insane all morning because of that!"

"Well, you're not, as far as I can tell," you reassure her. "But what does this mean? We can share dreams?"

"Apparently," she says sourly. She's still pouting about the text message, unless she's also pouting about what happened in the dream? That would mean... the bath?

Sayuri wiggles around on your lap to get a better look at you and Roslyn. "What are you guys talking about?" she asks.

"I'm not entirely sure yet," you say with a shrug. "Last night, I had a dream and Roslyn was in it."

"You're dreaming about another girl!?" she exclaims. "I'm so hurt, Anon-kun..."

"Hey hey hey! Come on! The point is, she had the same dream."

"Wait, really?" Sayuri asks. "It's as if the two of you are tied by the red string of fate!" She sighs. "I guess I have no chance at all, huh?" You're speechless after that outburst.

"I-it's not like I wanted to share his dream!" Roslyn says, flustered. "It just happened!"

"What happened in the dream?" Sayuri asks innocently.

"We... talked," Roslyn says slowly.

"About what?"

"You're just full of questions, aren't you?" you interject, to save Roslyn from gloing red in the face. "We talked about stuff and I asked her to send me a weird text if she remembered the dream."

"You're hiding something," Sayuri says knowingly. "What is it that you don't want to say?"

If it was just us involved I'd say spill it, who cares? But we have to remember that Roslyn's involved, and this might be too much embarrassment for her. The line between adorably miffed and legitimately angry is very thin for this girl.

"Ah, well, she appeared in my dream," you explain, "But as we were talking, I imagined her shoe on her head. Instantly, her left shoe disappeared from her foot and appeared on her head." Sayuri laughs, and she drops it. You see a relieved look on Roslyn's face, and she goes to sit down when the teacher walks in. Sayuri loks up at you, and you let her go. The morning discussion is fairly tame, with mentions to the festival coming up next week. Once that is done, everyone proceeds to math.

Math is relatively easy and passes by without much thought. History, on the other hand, leaves you with the age-old dillema: sit alone, sit with Sora, or sit with the group? You decide to stick to tradition and you sit with Sora, who ignores you when you pull up a seat next to her.

Fifteen into the class and movie, Sora still hasn't said anything to you, much to your surprise. You figured it might be good to let her take the lead in terms of conversation, but nothing has happened.

"So," you say, "I'm glad to see you have a firm hold on all your writings..." You know it's a bit of a stretch to start a conversation, but the dream was definitely important. If you ended up in her dream, she might remember it. Then again...

"Yes, it is," she replies quietly. "It's curious that you say that," she continues.

"Oh?"

"I had a dream last night that my notebook fell apart. I had a difficult time collecting all the pages back, but I had some help." She closes her notebook and sets her pen on her desk and casts her gaze at the projector screen.

"You had help?" you inquire.

"Yes, I did," she says. She doesn't elaborate. She's clearly dodging the topic, to your dismay.

"I have a rather good guess as to who it was that helped you, considering I was there," you say with a knowing look.

She responds by merely looking at you with a blank look, but then she says, "That's a bit presumptious of you, isn't it?"

"No, I don't think so," you say defensively. She goes quiet and just stares at the screen for a long time. "It was me, wasn't it?"

She turns to you with a dangerous look. "What makes you think you were in my dream?"

"I said already," you explain, "I was there. I had a dream where I saw you, and your notebook blew apart by the wind. No one helped you, so I stepped in. I narrowly saved one of your pages from landing in a fountain."

Her eyes widen when you explain it, but her surprise vanishes and is replaced her cold visage, and she turns back and looks at her notebook. Is she just afraid, or is it something else entirely?

You start to say something, but the bell rings, and everyone gets up to leave. You stop Sora before she leaves, though. "Listen... I apologize if I upset you or anything, but I've had dreams lately with my friends in them, and last night, it got very strange. She had the exact same dream." You leave out the confirmation part. "So, if you want to talk about it or something, I'll probably be on the roof at lunch. You're my friend, and you're always welcome to hang out with me and everyone else, Sora. You don't have to be a stranger."

She nods, and then leaves, and you follow suit.
