You are Legion (Nicknamed by yourself as Bob), familiar to Luke Morcai. Your Master is capable of powerful but time-consuming Circle Magic, which can replicate many spells but requires a great deal of preparation and time, And of the magic he has decided to term Theft. Theft allows Luke to steal anything, so long as it is possible in a physical matter with his hands. You are both embroiled in the Great Grail War, which is a Holy Grail War with four sets of servants.

Your Servant is Astolpho, knight of Charlamagne, Rider Class. Stat page here: pastebin.com/qJw29xd7

----

The plane ride is slow. I wish it would go faster - no one wants to talk, no one wants to say anything. We're all too tense, too uptight.
>>
>>20496499
Hi again, Luke.
OK, two things to say.
First, I might've forgotten to mention it earlier: Arrie's geas is gone because of the "wrath of Rulers" escape clause. In retrospect, should'n've include it, but at the time I thought about attracting Ruler's displeasure as an instant death sentence and designed geas to be used mutually.

Anyway, we should clarify what version of the geas Arrie used on Fatman - he may or may not remain bound at the moment.

Second. Roberta has a mental link with her Servant, yes? It would be good to contact Saber and ask what's going on. If everything went to hell while we were away, I want to be prepared for that.
>>
>>20496561
Arrie used a Command Seal to prevent Slim Jim from hurting us, dude. We're still safe.

Seconding the Saber-idea.
>>
>>20496561
>Second. Roberta has a mental link with her Servant, yes? It would be good to contact Saber and ask what's going on. If everything went to hell while we were away, I want to be prepared for that.

I ask Roberta about this, and she says that her Servant has been working on converting as much of the gangs in Seattle as possible. He has not noticed any major upheavals of late.

>>20496609
This is true - Arrie's first Servant cannot harm me any longer.

It seems we will arrive in a few hours. Anything I should do or ask?
>>
>>20496722
Ask Arrie how she's holding up now that she has to support two servants. That has to be hard on her prana reserves. We may want to set up a system for her similar to the one we have with the buses.

Also, can Arrie cloak the plane, make it undetectable for magic users? There's three masters, two servants and a boatload of powerful magi in there. You're bound to be a target for anyone looking.
>>
>>20496776
>Also, can Arrie cloak the plane, make it undetectable for magic users? There's three masters, two servants and a boatload of powerful magi in there. You're bound to be a target for anyone looking.

That's a good point. The last thing we want right now is some Kiritsugu wannabe around.
>>
>>20496823
And boom goes the dynamite.
>>
>>20496722
Is there any way to contact Merlin/Ganondorf?
Just to make sure things haven't gotten irrevocably fucked.
>>
>>20497653
Not at the moment.

>>20496776
I ask Arrie how she's doing, and she mentions offhand that she has plenty of prana.

"Really? Even with two - "

"Traditionalist." she reminds me. "Also one of the strongest in my family." she adds. "How do you think I was able to supplement your prana?"

"Point." I say, nodding.

We finally touch down.

A stern Chinese fellow, tall and intimidating, meets us. Roberta nods at him as we get off.

Where to first?
>>
>>20498026
I'd say Merlin, but be sure to call ahead.
>>
>>20498026
Catching up with Merlin sounds good. Ganon can wait and we don't have any other contacts or matters to attend at the moment.
>>
>>20498026
Call Merlin, head over there. Pick up a newspaper on the way, see what's been going on in town while you've been gone.
>>
>>20498074
>>20498157

I call Merlin with the information that I have David in tow, and he sounds pleased, calling me over.

When I arrive, he grins and nods.
"Okay, here comes the fun part." he says, "Simply put, I hook you up to the Grail. When the shit goes down and it has to draw from something, it draws from you." he says, pointing at David. "At that point, the Grail is mostly subverted. The wishes may still be twisted, however, so we can just turn it into a mana source for... Let's say, three Servants?" he says, grinning. "How's that sound?"
>>
>>20498426
I see nothing wrong with that.
But if anything this sounds -too- easy.
What are the ways this could go horribly wrong?
Discounting Ganondorf betraying us at the last minute, which I think we've all made peace with being probably inevitable.
Also, do you want to be one of the three?
>>
>>20498426
Sounds pretty good, but... We have now four Servants that we care about: Astie, Jeanne, Merlin himself (provided he is interested in staying in this world) and the Red Saber. What the latter would think about it?
Of course, he can always die, but with our luck...
Otherwise it is pretty cool.
>>
>>20498426
Astolpho and Jeanne make two. Who's going to be the third servant?

Also, yeah, Ganondorf will likely betray us. And I don't think the remaining Rulers will let us get away with this, so we'll have to deal with THEM as well. This may sound easy, but we're not there yet.
>>
>>20498494

Yeah. We should probably get David's opinion and input into all this as well. Merlin's on our team but he is the ultimate troll, so we should be wary of any weird side-effects that he didn't think or care to mention.

I don't think our niece's Servant will have too much trouble with this; if he is who I think he is, he doesn't want to the world destroyed any more than we do. This is gonna be a tough fight against the other Rulers though.
>>
>>20498531
If I understand Ganondorf's powers correctly, he doesn't actually need the Grail at all.
Like his Independent Action and Triforce of Power seem capable of sustaining him... well, infinitely, unless someone kills him.
Hell, assuming there's a Grail War after this one, would there be anything stopping him from participating as a Master?
>>
>>20498566
Aside from the possibility that the new Grail simply will not grant him Command Seals? And I doubt it will, what with Ganon being alien in this world...
He still can hack someone's arm and get the Seals, though. Or form a contract with a masterless Servant (which is a possibility in this war as well).
>>
>>20498566
True, but I still expect him to fuck us over and go for the ULTIMATE WISH GRANTING DEVICE at some point. It's in his nature, kinda. He wants to conquer the world, but I don't see him as the Solomon-type who'll run a bookstore. Ganon won't tolerate powerful servants threatening his schtick.
>>
>>20498638

True. What concerns me the most is: what if Ganondorf is stringing us along? He's been shown to be a master manipulator and certainly has a history of being able to get others to do his dirty work for him (the Gerudo, Agahnim, and even Vaati).
>>
>>20498638
What are the chances that Gene is dead?
Like we were counting on him and his God Hand to be our anti-Ganon weapon.
But Ganondorf can be a pretty shrewd dude.
>>
>>20498716
Almost certainly.
But we can trust that he is with us as far as 'not destroying the world' goes.
Like even back in his earliest, purest, form as the Demon King Demise, he desired domination and subjugation, not destruction.
It's the classic motivation for hero-villain team-ups: how can I rule the world if there is no world?
>>
>>20498716
Not the same Ganondorf. And he didn't really string the Gerudo along, he was literally their King. He used them for his own purposes, but most of them went along with it.

>>20498723
Not sure. I doubt we can call the Rulers for a status update anymore.
>>
>1 hr since EGO's last post

I hope that rogue mod didn't decide to show up today.
>>
>>20498494
"What does everyone think?" I ask.

The Red Saber nods his head in understanding.

David nods.
"If I'm to do one last good thing for this earth, it should be this." he says simply.

"Then it's agreed." Merlin says when everyone else agrees. "We proceed as 'normal.' I will work on the linking to the Grail. You guys destroy the other Rulers and Servants. Shouldn't be too hard, so long as you gang up, or something." he mutters. "Only problem is, Ganon hasn't spoken to me. Never showed up."
>>
>>20499289
Look behind you an obvious betrayal!

...Is what I'd like to say, but with all the jobbers in this war I have to wonder if one of the other Rulers/Assassin didn't end him.

I suggest we have ourselves a good time and invade the castle.
>>
>>20499289
Get some info first. Find out if anything noteworthy happened while you were gone. Explosions, mass murders, that sort of thing. It'll help us set our priorities straight.
If nothing else has come up, then go knock on Ganons door.
>>
>>20499289
First, the more information, the better.
Second, Ganon could betrayed us. Or he simply doesn't like Merlin. Probably the former. But I think we should still approach him. From the distance. With some backup plan.
We probably should start looking for Gene as the only currently know Servant capable of killing Ganon.
The problem is, we have a freaking large group. Other Servants are likely to gang up on us.
>>
>>20499503
>Other Servants are likely to gang up on us.
So? Let them try. We've got Astolpho, Jeanne and Red Saber, we can handle damn near anything. And Slim Jim, technically, but he doesn't really count.
>>
>>20499536
Given how many haxx characters we've met? It's still something worrying. I'm afraid of the possibility that Ganon convinced Gene (or his Master more likely) to for a temporal alliance against us. He is the only one who can take down Ganon that we are aware of. Would be a shame if they are working together.
But we'll deal with the problems as they arise, I guess.
>>
>>20499536
We cant really use slimjim anymore because well - arry only has a single command seal left. We should remind her not to use it.

I'd like to make a temporary alliance with gene to get rid of ganon and based on his masters attitude after that they could either help out or fuck right off... I don't want to fuck around with david's family any more either.

Three important things to do 1) Kill doomguy 2) Find out if skullface is baron samedi - probably kill him 3) Find carmen sandiego, she might be able to teach Lukas a bit more about how to use his theft-magic.
>>
>>20499586
I frown, thinking on possibilities.
"Looks like we'll have to meet up with Ganon again." I say.

Astolpho nods, and we all get in the car with him.

He frowns as we cross the Purdy Spitt, slowing the car.
"I sense a Servant. A strong one."

Jeanne looks about ready to leap out of the car, or something - almost on the verge of panic.
>>
>>20499784

Technically: we've NEVER used Slim Jim! Now that we know what an awesome Magus Arry truly is and what a weak Servant she got from her summoning, I don't blame her a bit for seeking out an ally the first chance she got.
>>
>>20499869
Trust Jeanne's instincts. If she's panicking due to a Servant that means there is something serious coming.

Get out of the car, prepare to fight.
>>
>>20499869

Oh fuck....it's Doomguy, isn't it?? Jeanne was a brave woman in life; if she's almost panicking it's that bad.

Get...out...of the car and be ready for a fight.
>>
>>20499888
Ask Jeanne what's wrong. Is she panicking because she wants to fight, or because she wants to run away? Because running away is easier when we're still IN the car.
>>
>>20499875
Arry used him on doomguy, he lost an arm to it.

>>20499869
Trust her revelation skill, its time to get the fuck out of the car and ask her what's going on.
>>
>>20499869
We are more vulnerable in the car then out in the open, I guess. No room to use Servants.
Ask Jeanne what's wrong and get out of the car.
I sense Ruler, so be prepared for the serious fight.
Fortunately, now we finally have a Saber, so we can stab people until they die.
>>
>>20499869
So... reverse direction and accelerate?
>>
I order Astolpho to stop the car, and help Jeanne out. She falls to her knees, hyperventilating.

"Jeanne! Jeanne, what's wrong!"

"I 'spect that she's a little... stunned over ther reverlation that her big pretender in the sky don't really exist. Just a thought." comes a rough voice from down on the beach. A man in leather armor and a metal skull cap sits there, picking his teeth with a dagger. He's disgusting. Dirty. His weapons and armor are clean, but not him. He laughs morbidly as I look at him.

"Whazzat, shocked? Dat not all Sahvants are pretty little toys?" he barks a laugh, falling into a wheeze.

"Silent..." Jeanne whispers. "It's so silent..."

"Ey, shut yer mouf. The men are talkin'." he looks at me. "Bossman says you'd best turn about and handle shit in the city."
>>
>>20500033
I believe we've just run across red lancer - a heathen, take jeanne's hand, reassure her.
>>
>>20500033
So you're capable of blocking out the presence of God, and you think that makes you special?
I bet you have no idea of how the world truly works.
>>
>>20500033
Okay. Remain calm. This guy did something that managed to shake JEANNE D'ARCs faith in God. He's clearly got some kind of mental power. Maybe something that isolates connections or makes people question their beliefs merely by being close to them. Try and see if your telepathic connection with Astolpho still works.

In the meantime, answer his question. This guy may be an asshole, but there's no need to be rude. Yet.
>>
>>20500106
Red Lancer?
I was thinking Green.
>>
>>20500033
And who would your boss be? Because if it's a Ruler, than no deal.
>>
>>20500033
Ask Arry if she knows who this guy is?
>>
>>20500150
"And who's your boss?"

He chuckles, sheathing the sword and pulling out his spear. Something about it feels ominous. Even I can feel it. Astolpho draws his sword, stepping forth as the Red Saber does - clad in golden armor and a red cape.

"Hoohoohoho. Yer big fellers, I'll give yer that." he says, spitting into the sand. "I'm not here to talk, boy. I'm here to guard the bridge. So iff'n you feel like stayin' alive, you'd best go."

"Tough talk for a guy so outclassed and outnumbered."

"Sez yu."
>>
>>20500241
Look, we're here to meet a man who could punch you and your smug attitude into the stratosphere.
If we're not scared of him, why the fuck would we be afraid of you?
>>
>>20500241
...Steal the bridge.
>>
>>20500291
Stop that
>>
Umm could this could be the viking on stamford bridge, the gear sounds probable
>>
>>20500241
This might be the viking at stamford bridge (I doubt it though) or it could be another viking type masquerading with someone elses legend I suspect it's the second based on how he's affected jeanne's connection to god.

Shame there's no Wolf the Quarrelsome in this grail war to murderize the fuck out of any vikings and string their intestines about a tree like it was fucking Bel-tine
>>
>>20500241
So only to stop us from crossing the bridge? Not from getting to the other side?
Like if someone were to, say, swim across or whatever, you would feel no compulsion to do anything?
>>
>>20500241
Luke, how is your mana? Can Astie produce broken animated mount? Because that would be useful in case of a fight. I think he may draw strength from the bridge or his duties. Especially if his Master spend a Command Seal for it. Destroying bridge may be useful provided there is an alternative way or Astie can get us a flying mount.
Are there any other way to get to Ganon? Because if so, would be better to simply leave, I think.
Otherwise, attempt some diplomacy.
>>
>>20500321
Viking at stamford bridge doesn't sever peoples connection to god, smart masters disguise their servants like we did by making astolfo dress like a girl.
>>
>>20500334
And like Ganondorf's late master made everyone think Ganondorf was Akuma.
>>
>>20500334
>>20500352
That too. If you've summoned a viking why not fuck with people by confusing them into thinking he's a different viking than he actually is.
>>
>>20500326
"So only to stop us from crossing the bridge? Not from getting to the other side?"

"Yer think yer right clever, eh?" he asks, hefting his spear. "Aight, Fair warning given." and he hurls it. Astolpho pushes me aside, and takes it in the shoulder, stumbling.

And then the spear explodes, Astolpho screaming as he falls, clutching his shoulder as the monster pulls out his shield and closes with Red Saber. His sword is knocked aside, and he barely recovers in time to kick the Lancer in the belly, sending him back a few steps - but his shield rises and blocks the sword that the Saber wields.

Astolpho.

I rush to his side. He clutches his shoulder in pain, the spear already gone - along with his armor.
"It hurts, it hurts, it hurts, it hurts..." he whimpers.

What the fuck are we dealing with here? A Lancer who can stand ground against a SABER?!
>>
>>20500241
Call his bluff - he doesn't give a shit about the bridge and his legend doesn't have anything to do with it. He is still dangerous but I genuinely doubt he's the viking at stamford bridge. His fucking with jeanne's direct line to god is too suspicious, call him a heathen, talk shit about him try to make him slip up.

Also we suspect our other allies servant is Yue Fei
>>
>>20500389
OK, so this guy is Turgeis the Devil
Apparently pure evil and pure badass.
And very bad news to us personally.
Gain some room for maneuvers. Flying mounts would be very helpful right about now if Astie is in a condition to fight.
Shake him out of it, btw. Pain or not, we can't afford to lose time right now. The fight has begun, after all.
If he isn't capable of fighting right now... Retreat.
>>
>>20500389
>Making Jeanne panic like that
>Hurting our knight
Alright, that's it, this guy dies.

Tell Arrie to look after Astolpho. There may be poison or some kind of magic in the spear that's now in the wound.
Is Jeanne up for fighting or is she still panicking? It's just a trick from Lancer, tell her it should vanish once he's dead.
Next, Lancer himself. He's using his shield to defend himself from Saber, so see if there's an opportunity to Steal it.
>>
>>20500389
"We name you Turgeis the Devil and you are a living blasphemy. May you thank whatever pagan gods you pray to that there is no Wolf the Quarrelsome summoned to this grail to rip you apart"

State this openly, then its up to you luke if you want to fight him or walk away - our roster isn't exactly good for tangling with this guy if it is turgeis though.
>>
>>20500466
Hm. Luke, I know this guy looks filthy, but how does he smell?
>>
>>20500494
"We name you Turgeis the Devil and you are a living blasphemy. May you thank whatever pagan gods you pray to that there is no Wolf the Quarrelsome summoned to this grail to rip you apart."

Turgies laughs as he scores a stab in the side of the Red Saber, kicking him away.
"Outmatched? Y'all are piss! Pissy little servants of a pissy little god. Get outter mah sight while yer still live, yah bunch of sheepfuckers." he tosses his short sword into the ground, and plants his spear.
"Or else. Bossman says I'm ter let yer go iff'n yeh cause no trouble more." Red Saber is still on one knee from that blow while Arry looks over Astolpho's wound. His armor... is trying to return, but it's gone, leaving him in a little black dress.
I help Jeanne up, and she presses agaisnt me - her armor is gone as well.

At my shock, Turgies laughs.
"Faith laid bare and dead." he says. "Such a sight."
>>
>>20500555
Wait a second, sure that's true for Rider and Ruler, but what about Saber?
Whatever gods he worships are neither theirs nor yours.
>>
>>20500579
I think it applies to all gods, not just the Catholic one.

Speaking of, anyone know of any chinese swordsmen that liked the divine stuff a whole lot?
>>
>>20500555
OK, I want to see this guy's stats.
Depending on what exactly he'd done we would either retreat for good or retreat to regroup and strike again if his spear has lasting effects.
I have a few plans, though they rely on large mana income (generators, anyone?) and the exact effect of the spear.
>>
>>20500555
Luke, if you wish to challenge this guy, and not just retreat, then this will be a Mage only fight, as the Servants won't be of much help.
Do you and Arry, and whoever else is with you (are there anyone else with you) think you can take this norseman down?
>>
>>20500588
>>20500579
You can see Red Saber wasn't as hurt as our other servants.
Faith works in different ways, and if he is the guy some are speculating(Yue Fei) then his "utmost loyalty for his country and people" could be considered some kind of faith.

Otherwise maybe Lancer stats are simply higher than Saber stats
>>
>>20500555
...as much as I hate to say his, we can't take this guy right now. Not without a plan.

Back off. We know you're supposed to be the brave and reckless one, but there's a difference between being brave and being fucking retarded. Jeanne is literally defenseless here (since her armor probably came directly FROM God), Astolpho is hurt bad, and Red Saber is also slightly hurt.

He'll get what's coming to him soon enough, but for now we need to retreat, lick our wounds and plan a counteroffensive. Retreat for now, but see if Arry can leave a familiar that can keep an eye on him somewhere closeby where he won't see it.
>>
>>20500683
"Rider, Ruler... Go ghost. We need to flee." We all pile into the car, and take a u-turn, heading home. Astolpho's pain won't go away - he says he feels the wound heal, however, his armor won't return. Jeanne recovers after we leave, and Roberta says that her servant is feeling fine.

I slam my heel against the steering wheel. I can't believe I allowed Astolpho to get hurt like that. Just like that, my strength in this war is crippled.
>>
>>20500555
"Wait a second, you were ordered to stop us specifically weren't you?"
"Goddamnit, has Blue Caster betrayed us already?"
>>
>>20500683

Logic Bob speaks wisely. Retreat, recover, and plan for later. If you have Ganondorf's number, call him and warn him about this guy. I have a feeling the King of Evil knows about this Viking asshole but just in case he doesn't...it might take a HAXX Caster to put this Lancer down.
>>
>>20500893
I don't really recall Turgeis being tied to disease or plague much.
He was just an exceptionally dickish Viking leader who loved raiding churches.
Also founded Dublin, incidentally.
If Merlin can't heal Astolfo, I'd wager that killing Turgeis might do the trick.
>>
>>20500936
Turgeis the Devil.
He fucks with faith.
Astolpho is a paladin.
Astolpho thanks to Turgeis being a dick has fallen as a paladin
>>
>>20500976

Ganondorf doesn't serve any deity...other than maybe himself. IF Turgeis isn't working with Ganondorf already, then the King of Evil may be the best candidate to put this bastard down...or one of the Berserkers.
>>
>>20500893
Okay, Master, let's be logical here for a second.
-Turgeis is highly effective against 'holy' servants, who draw their strength from faith.
-Ganondorf can only be killed by a holy weapon.
-Turgeis is guarding the bridge to Ganondorf's home.

Ganon's not your ally anymore. He might not be out for your blood at the moment, but that may change. We need a plan to kill this fucker.

That's for later, though. Astolpho comes first. No use in beating yourself up over it. It's a risk that comes with the Grail War. Take it easy for now, maybe go to Merlin or David to see if they can help with healing. Or maybe Jeanne can somehow 'bless' his wound so it will heal again?
>>
>>20500893
What about his stats? Didn't you see them?
It seems Ganon betrayed us already.
Anyway, current plans: use generator to generate fuckton of prana and get some exploding mounts to, well, explode this guy.
Alternatively, use David. He suppressed Magic Resistance before, so even if this viking has it (and he probably does, he's a Lancer), David can still affect him in his uber-mode. Then he can amplify mana evaporation process (Servants spent mana for literally everything they do and without it they simply dissolve).
Alternatively, get shitload of explosives and drop them from hippogriff on him.

Attempts shall be made after Astie recovers as much as he can.

Killing him is our top priority currently: I suspect Astie's armor will return once this guy is dead. Like with the Lancer from 4th war and his cursed lance.
>>
>>20501012
So that's why you call yourself Logic Bob.
You're probably right, but it's worth noting that Turgeis was ordered to let us go if we retreated.
That means that Ganondorf doesn't want us dead yet.
>>
...Even though he has the God Hand, Gene himself isn't a very devout person at all is he?
So in theory he's still our ace in the hole.
Any way to contact his bitchy master?
>>
>>20501123
Yeah, probably. I got the number.

...Well, okay, Arry did, through some social hacking and shockingly good acting. So I could call her, or... Cid's master. I could try to contact Carmen, though that never works well. When we get back, I do my best to soothe Rider's pain, but he's barely coherent.
>>
Do you have Ganondorf's number Luke?
If so, call him up.
Maybe say something like "I am detecting a distinct lack of trust in this partnership."
>>
>>20501194

This. I don't expect Ganondorf to confirm or deny our suspicions but he is an arrogant SOB: he might if he thinks he has the upper hand just to laugh at you.

Then call Gene's Master and Cid's. If Turgeis IS working with the King of Evil, then they've become a grave threat to everyone.
>>
>>20501247
On some level, I think this might be some well-earned paranoia on his part.
Like just as we know he's probably going to betray us, he knows that we know that he's probably going to betray us.
So finding a Servant who can neutralize his one weakness seems like good sense to me.
Plus Turgeis probably could have chased and killed us if he was told to.
So I'm not sure if Ganondorf is completely off team save the world yet.
Although I'd say he's definitely on probation.
>>
>>20501185
OK... Can Jeanne do something in the matters of faith for Astie? Blessings are in order. It could help. And couldn't harm to try.

Carmen would be the best choice provided she will be interested at all. But... unreliable.
I say Gene. With him we at least have something of a working relationship. And we can promise his Master to help in her fight later. Just don't tell her that we currently have five Servants on our side (Astie, Jeanne, Red Saber, Merlin and Fatman - we can't use him, but he's still "ours").
Big alliance can scare her into seeking other opportunities.
>>
>>20501313
On the other hand, God Hand... Probably not the best weapon for this fight.
Lets see... Try to get Cid. Promise his Master help in his fight in exchange. He may not believe us about the end of the world, but I hope he understand value of a temporal alliance.
If you can't get him, try to get Gene.
>>
>>20501185
I say call Gene's master. Gene is pretty much the best hand-to-hand combatant out there, so he should be able to fight him on somewhat equal ground, especially together with Red Saber.

Also, write a note to Carmen. You need training in thievery, master. She may show up, she may not. There's no harm in trying.
>>
>>20501523
I write the note, then call Rose.

"Hello?"

"Yes, it's me, Luke-" I stop midsentance. She hung up. "The butch hung up on me!" David laughs, and gestures for the phone. I hand it to him, and he leaves the room. Ten minutes later, he laughing and nodding.

"Yes, yes. That's noon tomorrow. I'll dress my best." he says, hanging up. "Still got it." he says with a grin.

"You're a louse, father."

"Bet your ass." he says with a chuckle, nodding to me. "Well, what now?" he asks.

"I'm not certain." I find myself saying. "We've a whole day..."

Turgeis the Devil
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Strength A
Endurance B
Agility C
Mana D
Luck E
(Skills go here)

The Devil's Tooth
Anti-Personell
Rank C

The spear Turgeis used in many of his campaigns, it is nominally mundane: Crafted from normal materials by an average smithy in a normal place. However, Turgeis has stained it with the blood of so many members of the Church that is has gained special abilities. When held aloft with a cry of battle, it creates an aura of fear great enough to surpass Magic Resistance up to rank C. Further, the Spear will shatter and dispel any Sacrements it touches. Finally, those with Mental Pollution due to faith will recieve triple damage from blows from this weapon.

When invoked and thrown, it will remove "god's grace" from a large area, dropping all Luck Checks into an automatic failure.

Unbeliever
Personal
Rank EX

Turgeis was known for his hatred and despoilment of many religious sites, and this disbelief and hatred has manifested in this passive Noble Phantasm. Sacrements used on Turgeis must first succeed a Luck check before damaging him, and any that do only deal half damage. Effects that would hinder his movements or lower his capabilities only last half as long.

The Horde
Anti-Army
Rank D

When near any shore, Turgeis can summon the might of his people, summoning a horde of Vikings that function like one hundred C-Ranked Heroic Spirits.
>>
>>20501601
First, restoration of faith. Ask Jeanne if she can do anything for Astie in relation to God. It could help him. And there is no harm in trying.
After that, I think you should be here for him. Leaving him alone would be a dickish move, strategy be damned.
You can send others for Skullface, provided they don't need to cross bridge for it.
>>
>>20501614
So he already depowered Jeanne and Astolfo, fought evenly with Saber, and could still have summoned one hundred Vikings?
He really was playing nice.
>>
>>20501614
Those vikings dissipate in an hour, by the way.
>>
>>20501601
Give Ganon a call
>>
>>20501778
I try, but it's disconnected.

>>20501642
Jeanne frowns, but gently takes Astolfo's hands and leads him into another room.

>Skullface
Where would I even begin? I'm not sure if I even have any leads.
>>
>>20501887
Can Red Caster tell us what he's been up to?
Like has he met any servants, masters, and rulers?
Or has he pretty much been doing gang violence the same time?
Maybe he's met the White Caster?
Although I fear he might have died.
>>
>>20501887
Well, you can call Cid's Master for information exchange. Perhaps he knows about the Skullface. Perhaps he just has information on some Servants that he's willing to trade for our. I'm not sure he knows about Ganon being in this war, so we can tell him that. And our viking buddy's identity as well.
And Turok.
Identities and abilities, provided he has some valuable information in return.
A simple enough deal that he has no reasons to refuse.

>comparing ofskind
Yes, captcha, lets compare Servants known to us.
>>
>>20501967
This seems good. Also ask if Arry has any ideas on how to beat Turgeis.
>>
Assuming that Ganondorf isn't dead, and Turgeis is working for him, what are the odds that Ganon killed Turgeis's former master, and then offered the viking a job as his Servant?
>>
>>20502261
Pretty good. And giving his infinite mana supply, there are good chances our viking buddy is not the only one. For all we know Ganon has a small army.

>viseeme many
Captcha agrees.
>>
>>20502363
...Even though I'm still pretty sure he doesn't want to end the world, maybe he found a way to save it that doesn't involve working with us?
>>
>>20502363
So what you're saying is, Ganondorf is doing everything in his power to become the final boss of the Grail War?
>>
>>20502523
Well, he has a castle full of traps and (presumably) puzzles, he has at least one mini-boss guarding an entrance to said castle, he can be defeated only under special circumstances...
Yeah, pretty much.
There are three Rulers to consider, though.
They are all bosses in their own right.

>>20502478
Which is simple: get four or more Servants under his wing, let the war continue into infinity. With his independent mana supply he doesn't actually need the Grail. So he can allow it to simply hang here never to be materialized and conquer the world. It's not like he cares about what will happen when he dies.
>>
>>20502623
That won't work unless he can kill all three Rulers.
(We haven't seen the last of Doomguy).
>>
>>20502659
One of the rulers is Bible-based. He wouldn't be a match for Turgeis.
>>
>>20502705
...Can we make this work for us?
>>
So yeah, I'd say our current agenda is to see if Red Saber has anything to say to us, and maybe see if we can get Cid to join team Save the World?
I don't really know how to find out more about Skull Guy beyond wandering around and hoping for a random encounter.
>>
I think if possible, we should leave Ganondorf and whatever Servants he has alone.
Sure they're evil, but they don't want us dead yet.
Plus he might take some heat off us, and become the target of the Rulers ire by being a big evil lightning rod.
>>
>>20502917
Again, I think Astie will not fully recover until we kill the viking.
After that, we'll see. Ganon is currently the biggest threat to us and we should deal with him sooner or later.
If some other matter caught our interest, we'll deal with it first, however.

>>20501887

In any case, Ganon clearly does not want us anywhere near him - that means he's up to something.

We need to find out what.
>>
>>20503504
Well yeah.
...When we get some new, non-holy Servants to join our team.
>>
It doesn't help us any that in Nasu canon, "Gods" and "God" really do not exist, does it?

Anyways, I just came to remind everyone about the moon cell from Fate/Extra and how it supposedly has INFINITE POWER. Might be worth looking into, as a better alternative to everything else we have planned. Though I understand if some people are against doing a Holy Grail War within a Holy Grail War if we fuck up interfacing with the SERAPH system.
>>
Jeanne emerges from the room, and approaches me with a sigh.
"I don't think it's a good idea to have him move about." she says, quietly. He's... Damaged."

"Well, yeah, but-"

"No. I mean... In a way similar to how Roland broke his horse. Very similar, in fact. If we're not careful, he will... Break."

I go pale.

"It won't happen without provocation." she assures me. "But still. His devoutness was great, and the strike rang true. We should consider ourselves lucky he still lives."

I call Cid's master.

"Mmm. Rough spot." he says. "How can I help?"

"Just... like that?"

"Just like that."

"... I've too much shit on my plate - I need Skullface looked into, I need someone to find a way to kill Turgies and Ganon. I need to know about the other Rulers. Things like that."

"...I'll gather what I can, kid."

JHe hangs up, and the phone rings again.
>>
>>20504027
Merlin managed to fix the broken horse, didn't he? Maybe he can help out again somehow. Getting some more of that tea might be a good idea. There's nothing we won't do to save our knight, dammit.

Anyway, the phone is ringing. Better answer, master.
>>
>>20504027
We must have a slew of new numbers just by this War. Do we know this one?
>>
>>20504027
Does she know if killing Turgeis will break the curse?
As for who's on the phone, I'm betting Ganondorf.
>>
>>20504129
If it is Ganondorf, try and contain your hostility, master.
I doubt he's calling to gloat.
Tell him that if he wants to maintain this alliance, he's to order Turgeis to tell us how to break his spear's curse, or provide some alternate means of breaking it.
>>
>>20504075
...No, I don't.

"Hello?"

A garbled voice replies,
"Space Needle. Tonight. Alone. I will teach you."
>>
>>20508410
Ooooh, it's Carmen! Hi Carmen! Looks like you have a date tonight, master. Lucky boy, you.

Call Merlin, maybe he knows a solution for this since he managed to fix Astolpho's broken horsie before. Tell him we'll do anything it takes. Giving a perverted mage like him a blank cheque for whatever he wants from us is a small price to pay for getting our knight back.

Then wait for evening to come, I suppose. Try to take care of Astolpho while thinking of painful ways to kill Turgeis. Because we NEED painful ways to kill Turgeis. There's no way in HELL we'll settle for non-painful ways anymore. He will die and he will die SCREAMING.
>>
>>20508410
OK, I'm back from slumber.
Call Merlin. Perhaps he has something that will help.
Go on date with Carmen.
Tell Jeanne and Arry to watch over Astie.

Plan for dealing with our viking buddy:
We bring Red Saber, Gene and converted gangsters with us. Arry too, she can hide us in case we need to retreat really quick.
We locate gangsters somewhere where the viking can't see them right away, but not too far away from us.
Then Red Saber enters the fight with him.
Gene in ghost form wait nearby for when the viking is distracted, then joins the fight.
Red Saber calls for gangster only if the viking use the Horde Phantasm. Their task would be to die for us and distract horde long enough for Gene and Saber to finish Turgeis.
We also may wish to bring David with us. It's a risk, but I think he can deal with the Horde by amplifying their disappearance. Not for much else: Turgeis himself don't age, and because of Ganon have infinite supply of mana.
>>
>>20508906
If yue fei is taking control of gangs id prefer Lukas not waste their lives needlessly. Date with Carmen may be nice, bring your glove though as she stole another masters voice with a kiss, in fact if that guy is still alive you need to pay him back for his help with doomguy and the loss of the cowboy - try to get his voice back. Carmen may be a trick.
>>
>>20508906
I call Merlin and tell him what happened, and he says that the best way out is to end Turgeis. He'll think on the matter.

I get in the car and drive to the Space Needle, taking the elevator up. A land lands on my shoulder there.

"Hello." she says. "You wanted my help?"
>>
>>20509282
"Nothing like learning from the master"
>>
>>20509316
Seems fine.

"Once I asked a man to tell me what my Origin was, who I was at the very core.
And he told me that it was theft.
And so I stole, power, identity, even lives, and yet even as I took, I was running away from my identity, wanting to be the greatest mage in the world no matter the cost.
But when Red Caster-- when Jeanne, was about to be destroyed by the Grail that sustained her, I embraced who... what I am without reservation and sought to steal her from one of the most potent sources of power in this world.
But it wasn't enough. The only thing I would have taken would have been my own life for my hubris.
Until you taught me how.
I want to learn more. I want to perhaps feel pride in what I am.
I know that there is nothing in this world you cannot take, and I don't have much to give, but should you teach me, I will offer almost anything, even my very soul."
>>
>>20509282
"What can I say? Send a thief to teach a thief. And you're the best thief in the history of... well... history. Hell, you STOLE history several times over. You already helped me once. Will you help me again?"
>>
>>20509627
>offering soul
You were doing great until that part. Never, ever offer your soul, especially to someone who is probably able to collect.
>>
>>20509676

"What can I say? Send a thief to teach a thief. And you're the best thief in the history of... well... history. Hell, you STOLE history several times over. You already helped me once. Will you help me again?"

I turn to face her, but she's not there. Her voice, soft and silky, is behind me.
"Maybe so. Maybe. You see, you're not a great thief yet. Your hands are strong, your will is great - but you are nothing when it comes to stealth." she says quietly, as the elevator arrives. "If you can make it to the other end of this floor without being percieved, I will teach you."
>>
>>20509938
I figure that if she wanted it, she probably doesn't need Luke's permission to take it.
But yeah that's probably a bad idea, I just couldn't think of any other dramatic ways to end the speech.
>>
>>20509985
...She's not wrong there.
Although how you're supposed to manage that I have no idea.
Make sure she's not including herself on the list of people you shouldn't be perceived by.
>>
>>20509985
Is this floor a public place? If so, maybe you should just walk normally across. Nobody will pay any serious attention to you if they think you're supposed to be there, after all.
>>
>>20509985
"Perceived by who? You obviously can see me. And what count as being perceived? The best way to not be noticed in the crowd is to act like people around you, after all."

Other than that... Well, not much choice. Do you by any chance have Arry's blood chocolate or just her blood? Because that would've been great right about now.
Or perhaps you can turn your magecraft to this purpose? Try to remember what you felt under Arry's spell and then try to recreate it.
I doubt it will work, but may as well try.
>>
>>20510071
I don't have Arry's blood on me, at the moment.

"But... how?"

"Fine, let me teach you one thing." she says, her gloved hand sliding over my jaw.

My head screams. My sight blurs, and fades, and pain overwhelms me. I grunt, holding the side of the elevator for balance.

Heists.
Great heists. Things too big to hold, too large to holg, too great to touch - but.

More important.

The sensation of not being there at all. The sensation of knowing who is watching. The feeling of being seen, heart, smelled, tasted, touched.

I know it. I know it deeply. My head is exploding, my head is cracking.

But I know.

"Can you do it now?"
>>
>>20510703
I guess
Let's try it
>>
>>20510703
"I will not know until I try."
Well, try it. No choice but to go forward.
Be careful and watch before you go.
>>
>>20510703
Okay, Lukey boy, try to remember what just happened to you. Visualize it. Recreate it in your mind. Will it to happen, and then... let it out.
Try it, kiddo. We believe in you.
>>
>>20510703
Try it now. Then once you get your training steal the master of the unnamed cowboys voice back - leave a note saying "Lukas Morcai wuz here, thanks for everything doll now I need to return something you shouldn't have taken from someone. Someone who I've never heard speak a word, but was among the truest allies I've never deserved, I suggest you not take things from him again".
>>
>>20512680
Nah.
>>
rolled 10 = 10

>>20512680
We can steal back the guy's voice when to show "we've surpassed the master" later.
