>>20171153Fuck em!Though I probably should have fed my brother's cats before I left on this walk
>>20171133Man, I'm sorry. So much shit happens to you, yet you still try to continue this regularly.Ac-guy, I salute you.
>>20171158>On the one hand, it would mean not getting to run AC-Quest.>On the other, it means not having to run AC-Quest.>I think after we finish up this arc , I'm gonna run something lighter/sillier in the chapter two/three break.
>>20171316You can do it, AC-Guy. I believe in you.
YOU ARE ALEX RASTON.Currently most of your team is out of commission because Legion is trying to destroy their minds by hypnotizing them and making them live their worst fears and deepest darkness.Doing so has put him squarely at the top of your shit list, as you call out to Elsie, your squad's sniper. Also your girlfriend, and you aren't sure which role she plays in your life makes her pain harder for you to bear."Alex? Thank god." She says "I just got a call... my Dad...." She starts to cry again as you listen, trying to find a way to get her to snap out of it.>What say?

>>20171405"Elsie, listen to me. He's trying to get into your head; the fucker that calls himself Legion and let those Black Rock fucks into Vegas, is making you relive your worst nightmares. You gotta snap out of it."

>>20171405Elsie, get it together. I know it hurts, but I need you with me right now. I need you to be strong for me Elsie. What you're hearing isn't real, come back to me so we can kill the person who is doing this.
>>20171428>Military service. Well, militia.>Elsie was never told the details, and you found out later that the reason for that was because.... well it was pretty bad. Messy and horribly painful.
Time for AC Quest!>>20171458Going to go with this.
>>20171405Hell with it."I know, Elsie. I know, and now I need you to listen to me: this already happened. We're in Vegas, and the asshole responsible for what happened at Hope is here in front of us. He's probably responsible for a lot of other people's misfortune, too. But right now, I need you here. And… I love you."

rolled 26 = 26I am legitimately worried about Laurie, though, based on the snippet we got of his. Does Alex have any knowledge about what Laurie's nightmare could be?
>>20171945[x] Good, because I need to see how Laurie's doing. We've got to get as many of the team broken out of the dream as quickly as possible. We'll work on making them able to fight once they're all out.
>>20172008There's also the possibility that going to Laurie can make everything we just did for Elsie pointless.Their all being mind-raped, judging how they react is hard.
>>20172008Well right now, If we let this go, she wont come out of it. Immediately go after laurie next. Also, we don't know hes being man-raped.

We have to be certain. If she falls back under when we go to check on Laurie we just wasted the time we spent here trying to pull Elsie out.
[X] It'll be alright, I'm right here.We gotta be sure otherwise it's all for naught.
>So....>Which way swings the vote?

"Those weird looking MTs are about to enter effective range for my gun. I'm taking up a better sniping position." >>20189566>>20189572>So since it's too damn late to make any real progress in the actual quest, let's talk aspects.>Aspects, for those who don't understand them are basically a trait or a belief that can be evoked for an effect.>Aspects are something of a double edged sword by their very nature, since someone can invoke someone else's aspects, if they know what they are.>For instance, somebody could have the aspect 'World's greatest swordsman'. This would be something they could invoke to give a bonus in combat situations, or in some instances instantly ace a test related to wielding a sword.>However it would also mean they have a reputation as a talented swordsman, and would have to deal with people constantly demanding duels to try and prove they're the better warrior or something.>I'm basically giving Alex one right now for you guys to pick. Based on choices made between now and the chapters end, you'll get another one that reflects Alex as a character.
>>20189626>have to deal with people constantly demanding duels to try and prove they're the better warrior or something. So it'd be like having the Number 2 headband?
>>20189679>I... guess?>I feel like I'm missing the reference.
>>20189626All I can think of is, "Mama Bear," protecting and seeing to the needs of those important to us.And I am balls tired, so I'm going to bed.G'night, AC-Quest
>>20189706Afro Samurai.Possible Aspects "Big Damn Hero", "Surfing the Nuke", "Give Me Your Face".
>>20189706Afro Samurai. Basically, there are two headbands. The Number One headband pretty much makes you a god. The Number Two headband gives you the right to challenge the guy who has the Number One headband. Nobody who doesn't have the Number Two headband can challenge the guy with the Number One headband. So the guy with the Number Two headband has to deal with EVERYONE wanting to kill him and take his headband so they can challenge the guy with the Number One headband for the chance to be a god.
>>20189732Surfing the Nuke sounds amusing, but I'm not sure how that would work. Bonus to Crazy Ivan tactics?
>Feel free to debate this and discuss it until you've decided. I have to go to bed, since it's one A.M. here and I need to be up in like four hours.
>>20189775That could work. We're compelled to take Crazy Ivan actions, but we do that anyways, placing our life in danger, that sort of thing. We get a bonus to unusual tactics, especially those that operate best when they're not expected, things involving large amounts of explosives and surviving in improbable circumstances.
>>20189855>>201897752am find ac quest placing a vote for surfing the nuke, goodnight /tg/,im just going to leave this here
>>20189855Right, but we we're at our best doing Crazy Ivan tactics to save an ally. Going by the sheet, that is, and if we get Riding the Nuke.Being compelled to take Crazy Ivan methods over usual just sounds like a win to me. A very risky, unnecessary danger win, but a win all the same.
>>20189732voting for Surfing the nuke/ radiation rodeo/ Crazy Ivan.we usually get put in situations where the best way out would be the weirdest possible choice.either that, or we just like insane tactics.
>>20189855I like this idea. The other edge of the sword so to speak being that these are normally the most dangerous tactics we could choose to take.
maybe the drawback could be that you would inspire people to be like you and they end up failing horribly.ari for example could try and be like alex and wind up dieing trying to pull off something tricky
>>20189922We should just call it Crazy Ivan>>20189950>>20189950And I like this, but... I dunno, the consequences of failing a Crazy Ivan are generally penalising enough.Maybe we should just make it an "amplifier", higher reward to higher risks.
Augh, I was thinking of suggesting a "Rage Through the Pain." Aspect, where Alex rapes more face the more backed into a corner and fucked up he is. Since he always seems to get injured and Pushed into horrible situations, and then Turn around and tear peoples faces off anyway. But it looks like theres already a consensus
>Let's take an aspect about how we do crazy shit>(Almost) Never do crazy shit outside of the sims>Okay.Y'know, what, sure. Let's do it. Then maybe we will.
I'm not even sure why I'm bumping this now.
