You look up to look into the living room, and the others are in there, looking over the girl you saved. Tadashi looks up and meets your gaze and nods.

Tadashi arches a brow at his younger sister. "Roslyn, they're after you as well. If you run out there, they'll just try and use you or Sayuri against us."

"I don't care, Tadashi," she says with narrow eyes. "I'm not going to stand idly by and just let this happen. Sayuri is my friend, too, you know!"

"We're going as well," Chiyo says, gesturing to herself and Miyuki. "No one fights alone."

You sigh and look down at the girl you saved. She's sleeping soundly on the couch; Miyuki must have covered her with a blanket after she noticed the girl was drugged. You look back at the others.

To make a plan, you need to know what you're up against. We can't plan until we get there and the longer we take, the more time Ramius has with Sayuri to do who knows what. We're risking the chance to lose out on a stealth attack but I'll take that risk. Besides, as mentioned we have no clue where in the docks they are or how large these docks are. Who knows how much time that will eat up.

"Let me do it." Roslyn pushes you out of the way and kicks the door near the door knob --- hard. The door caves in just around the doorknob, and she manages to open the door. "There you go."

Your eyes get wide. "Well, thanks," you say. "I just hope that didn't give us away." You both sneak into the building and see several boats being supported as storage. You see where the boats would be moved into a lock so they could then be taken out to the water. The water in the lock is almost at ankle level, you'd guess, and in the center of the lock is a girl, being held up by chains.

Without hesitation, you jump down into the water and rush to Sayuri. "Sayuri?" Your voice is a little bit shaky, but you hold it together. You see some bruises on her arms, but that's all you notice.

"Sayuri, I'm here." You try and get her to look at you, but when she does, her eyes seem... empty. It's as if her usual spark is gone. "I came after you as soon as I possibly could, Sayuri." Only silence comes from the small girl. She just continues to stare at you, as if she's staring through you. "Sayuri... please say something."

"...Master." Your eyes widen a little bit, and you hear the sound of water moving behind you.

"So she wasn't kidding." You recognize that voice. "She said you'd find her. Too bad she's wrong about the rest of it."

You turn around and see Ramius standing about twenty feet away from you, his arms crossed. "I have to say, you're either incredibly brave or incredibly foolish, boy. You actually came her alone to find her. I don't know if I should be flattered or if I should be insulted."

I think that we could get an advantage if we can goad Ramius into a villain's monologue... Its a bit risky to bank on the villains who talk too much, but it's also dangerous to attack and potentially take ourselves out of the fight due to heavy injuries. She looks up at you and tilts her head inquisitively, but says nothing. You hear the gun go off, and you instinctively tense up, but nothing happens. You hear the clatter of metal behind you, and you glance back to see a crowbar in the water. You look around and see Roslyn up above the lock, staring down at the situation, a piece of rebar with some concrete at the end in her hand. She leaps down into the water and rushes at Ramius, wielding the rebar... like a hammer. She swings and manages to knock the gun out of his hand, then dives after it. She rolls through the water and ends up in a low, crouching stance with the gun pointed at Ramius.

Ramius rubs his hand with the other. "That actually hurt. I'm surprised you managed to hit that bullet with the crowbar as well. Well done. Unfortunately for you," he says as he reaches behind him and produces another gun, "Is that I carry two guns."

You eye the crowbar in the water. You hear several gunshots and you see Roslyn and Ramius opening fire on each other. Shells -- and bullets -- fall to the water. You and Roslyn look at each other after it appears both she and Ramius are out of ammo.

You nod to Roslyn, and she nods back. She discards the gun and hefts the rebar club and charges Ramius, swinging it like a hammer. You take the time she's buying you to run to the crowbar, pick it up, and head back to the chain. You slide the bar into the chain links and wrap some of the chain around the bar, and start to pry it apart. Each time you hear a gunshot, you tense a little bit. "Hold on, Sayuri," you whisper to her. She continues to stare at you, almost like she's staring through you. Angrily, you work on the chain some more, and you finally manage to break a link. You feel a sense of elation, but that's cut short when you hear another gunshot, followed by a small scream. You turn around and see Ramius holding the gun over Roslyn, the barrel still smoking. Blood is pooling in the water around her shoulder.

"You stupid bitch," Ramius growls. "I'm going to break you far more than I broke that little girl over there." He looks up at you and sees the broken chain and you standing next to it, crowbar in hand. "Well shit." He shifts the gun to you and squeezes the trigger, but the only response is a click. "Oh come on!" He drops the magazine and reaches into one of his extra pockets, digging for what you expect to be a fresh one.

You see Roslyn lying in the water, struggling to move, and you feel your rage building again. He steps aside, holding his free hand out, taunting you.

"No... Anon-kun, give me your hand." You do, and she smiles. "Take this..." You see an orange glow from her hands, and you feel a sphere-shaped object get pressed into your palm. You look down and see an orange-tinted, transparent sphere with a pair of hammers crossing over a shield. "This should help a bit."

"What do you mean?" you ask.

"I don't... I don't know." Her face tenses up briefly. "I think this will help, at least." You see the sphere glow orange, and then disappear. In your right hand, you feel a warmth coursing through your blood, up your arm and into your body. With that warmth comes a new strength, a new energy. She looks up at you and smiles, then with her left hand, pulls you close to her and kisses you. When you separate from her, her smile widens. "Kick his ass."

You nod and pick up the rebar in your right hand, the crowbar in the left, and turn to Ramius. "Had your touching last moments?" Ramius asks with a chuckle. The rebar is surprisingly light in your hand. "Well, it looks like you really want to fight me, boy. I'll humor you a bit. Come on." He slides the fresh magazine home and pulls back the slide and grins. He takes aim at you, but you're already moving towards him, carrying yourself low to present a smaller target to his impending gunfire. He lets a few rounds off and they hit you, but they feel like pellets hitting you, not bullets.

You get about three feet from him and you swing the rebar up like a hammer, catching Ramius in the elbow of his left arm. You spin with the momentum and bring the crowbar up and, with the hook end, aim for his neck. The hook manages to catch part of his skin, drawing blood, but he manages to step back enough to lessen the blow. You can't help but growl as you feel that same feeling from earlier suffusing your body. The things he did to Sayuri... It boils your blood. You swing the crowbar at his right hand, but he uses the gun to actually block the swing, and in return he delivers a quick punch to your midsection. It hurts, but it doesn't knock you down. "Eh?" He delivers another punch, and another, but you still don't go down.

IT'S HAPPENING.

Tossing your arm back a bit, he straights up and aims at you, point blank, and before you can do anything, he squeezes the trigger repeatedly, emptying the magazine into your chest. The bullets make their impact, but they drop. It hurts beyond anything you've ever felt, and it draws blood, but they don't penetrate your skin. When the gun clicks empty, you attack again. You lash out with a kick to his midsection, and Ramius takes a few steps back, staggered. You take another step forward and swing the hammer back, up, and over at Ramius' head. He takes a step back, resulting in a miss, but you take another step forward and swing horizontally with the crowbar. Ramius catches it with his hand and glares at you. "I should've shot her in the head, it seems," he says through gritted teeth. "I won't make that mistake twice." He takes a step forward and pushes your crowbar away and performs a combat roll back away from you to a crouching position. He drops the spent magazine and slams a new one back in and takes aim at you.

You sense movement above you and you see Tadashi and the girls looking down. You push them out of your mind as you press the attack, swinging your makeshift weapons like hammers. You hear the gunshots, feel the gunshots, but you refuse to acknowledge the pain. You close the distance to Ramius faster than usual and catch him in the side of the head with the concrete end of the rebar. The concrete shatters on impact, sending Ramius sprawling.

You take a few steps towards him and see him struggling to his feet. One side of his head is bloody as all hell, and if circumstances were different, you would likely vomit at the sight. He starts crawling towards Sayuri, who is walking towards him of her own free will. You run towards him, but by the time you get there, Ramius is holding Sayuri around the waist. He gives you a bloody smile. "You think this is over so easily?" he asks. "Heal me, slut. If you do, I'll reward you after your friend is a corpse." You see Sayuri's hands go to Ramius' face.

"Sayuri!! Stop!!" You drop the crowbar and reach out to her with your hand, but she just looks at you.

"Why?" she asks, her voice deadpan. Her hand touches Ramius and her hand glows a light red, and you see the wounds on his face start to slowly disappear. As they do, you see them appearing on Sayuri's face instead. She keeps a straight face the entire time until the transfer ends, and then she screams in pain. Ramius stands up, grinning like the sadistic bastard that he is.

"Good job, slut. Now I can grant this poor soul a release from its torment." Ramius walks away from her writhing form and ejects the magazine, then reaches for a new one. "Eh? I'm out. Well, I'll just fetch a new one." He looks at you. "Enjoy your last few moments, boy." He begins walking to a corner of the room, leaving you there near the sobbing Sayuri.

You run to the girl and drop your weapon, picking her up in your arms. She's bleeding terribly, and her tears are mixing with the blood. You can't help but feel your own tears start to fall from your eyes, seeing her in this state. "Sayuri... No..."

She looks up at you, still crying uncontrollably. "Anon-kuuunnn!!!" She tries to move, but she can't. She continues sobbing, but now she's clinging to you. "Make the pain stop...!"

You bring her closer to you and give her a full embrace. "Sayuri... I'm so sorry... I failed you..." You kiss her on the head, unsure of what to do.

"Anon-kun... I love you...!"

You look at her, and she's still sobbing into your chest, but she says it again. "I love you...! Please... I don't want to feel this pain anymore..." Her body is almost convulsing at this point.

You hear the water moving ahead of you, and you see Ramius approaching you, his gun drawn. "Ready to die, maggot?" He puts the barrel of the gun to your head. "Say your last words."

In your arms, the little girl looks up at you, and you see that spark come back. From nowhere, she looks like the Sayuri you know once again. Despite her pain, she smiles at you. Time seems to slow down, and Sayuri perks up. It's almost comical how her face is a combination of pain and glee, and she reaches for Ramius and touches him on the leg. A red color glows from her hands, and you see the damage to her face fading away. As it slowly disappears, you hear Ramius shout in pain. "AAARGH!" You feel the pressure of the barrel vanish from your head, but you hear a gunshot. You look at see Ramius on the ground, writhing in pain, obviously taken off guard from the sudden appearance of the pain he was fighting moments prior.

You set Sayuri down and pick up the rebar. "I'm going to kill you for making her suffer."

"No, you aren't." You look up and see a familiar-looking bald man. He jumps down, holding a rifle in your direction. "You did good, kid, taking down one of our best operatives. Collect your wounded and split before I put a bullet in the little one behind you and the girl over there. And your three friends." He gestures with his rifle to Tadashi, Miyuki, and Chiyo. Your grip on the rebar tightens.

You nod and pick Sayuri up. You watch as Magnus picks Ramius up with one hand and tosses him over his shoulder. He slings his rifle and produces a small pistol-like device and fires up to the ceiling. It's a grappling hook, of all things. He pulls himself up, carrying Ramius, and he vanishes from sight. You and Sayuri head over to the group. Tadashi has Roslyn in his arms. "We need to leave," Tadashi says.

"Agreed." You all manage to get out of the building relatively quickly, and head back.

"You did great, Anon-kun," Roslyn says, looking at you. "You did well..."

You all manage to get back to your house with relative ease. Chiyo unlocks the door and you all head inside, and you have Tadashi take Roslyn up to your room to take care of Roslyn. Sayuri continues to cling to you in your arms. "Thank you for saving me... You never abandoned me... " She smiles up at you. "I love you."

You look down at her and just smile.
