As the tension in the room slowly decreases and Csvakshek tries to gather up his scattered stuff from the ground, Wych turns to you, smiles in a way that humans would call innocent and asks you:
>So, wouldn't you want to get dressed? Nah, not the clothes, you look just fine without them, I mean weapons. Just as I guessed, you are new to the Dark City. You should bear weapon with yourself at all times, even in my house. Go to the armoury and pick something for yourself, expect to use it daily. You'll have to earn your keep afterall. Then come back to me, we still have a few matters to settle. One of the other slaves will show you around, my place is quite big, it would be a shame if you got lost and die in some trap on the first day here. Csvakshek told me that your sub-species are known for narrow mind and unexplainable bloodlust towards certain species, do you have a preference for your guide? I'd hate if you would damage my property.

What do you answer?

In a few minutes a man in his twenties comes in. He seems to be clean shaven, dressed in loose tunic that has a hole on the shoulder, through which an intricate tattoo on his shoulder can be seen. He answers in trembling voice. Xynthia hisses at him in anger:
>He is no lord, you piece of trash, i'll rip your tongue out if I will hear you call him like that again, he is no more than a special guest in this house and the fact that he does not yet bear mark of a slave does not mean that he is a 'lord'!
Slave 114 falls to his knees, sobbing and asking for forgiveness.Xynthia looks at him again, this time with less disdain:
>Well, you'll have to adress him somehow... Just call him by his name. Kant.
Csvakshek politely interrupts her:
>I think miledy called him Kunt last time.
>Well maybe I did, and if so, this is non of your goddman business! Now I think Kant suits him better. You know, if earlier he was Kunt like cunt, then now he is Kant like in 'cant fail'. He serves me now, after all. Sounds more... Warrior-like, doesn't it? Well, whatever, off with both of you.

Power armour is VERY heavy, you will be able to carry it around depowered only for a couple of hours before you will gather enough fatigue to start rolling Body checks.
Bolter + ammo, Chainsword - taken, you can add them to your inventory

we should go native and use a splinter rifle. We'll never risk running out of ammo and we'll be able to mask our kills somewhat.

There is -no- need to leave a calling card with every kill we make, and we'll be able to mask the 'extra' kills we make on the side...

And what happened to Montus' power armor?

These are weapons that are suitable for your size. Splinter rifles have a pretty loose grip, so with minor modification they are suitable for you to use. Hellglaive is big enoughfor you to fight any opponent of your size or smaller.

Hellglaive is disbalanced for 1 arm use. You will look badass, but not much more.

Hellglaive, Splinter rifle as main armaments, chainsword if we can fit it on us and the bolter for special occasions if we're not out of room.

Chainfist has works on the same crystal-based power sources, that numerous imperial power weapons use. For example the one from chainsword would do the trick. Also it would work if attached to portable reactor, like the one in power armour.

Yes, Rippergun could be modified to take in different kind of ammo, like shotgun shells or bolts, however it won't shoot shards that Deldar splinter rifles use.

>>20076559
>Hurr hurr, stupid new slave, everyone uses souls around here to buy stuff. Look at this...
He takes out a glass like coin:
>This is a single soul, got it yesterday, I've tested it at the exchange, they told me it's a real one, but weak, most probably a child or an old man, so it's worth about half a proper soul. I could get you a meeting with people who have access to guns for 5 souls. Masters need them for their stuff, so they value them and you can get almost anything, if you have enough souls. Ofcourse you can carry around precious metals or jewels, or even use slaves to buy stuff, but souls are the best currency. Also, if you will ever land your hands on a soul of a hero, martyr, psyker, or some other important guy - come to me, I'll get you a good rate for it, Masters love that kind of stuff!

Only Haemonculi really know how to kill souls and prevent Dark Eldar from resurection even if their soul is split. Well, i've spoken too much already, Gont, but the short version is - don't worry, you can't kill my soul, I've taken precautions. Ok, so you need another soulstone... Csvakshek, give us one.
As Haemonculus gives her an empty crystal she strides through the room towards you and on her way with a single lightning fast movement slices Macharius' throat. Guardsman grabs himself by the throat, still alive, looking and desperetation around room with dimming eyes, slowly drowning in his own blood...
>Well now, come here, quickly, he'll expire soon. Take the stone, together with me and place it near him...

What do you do?
>>
>>20077190
I'm appreciating your effort in insulting me. we should take some time so I can describe in detail the things I care the most. this way you should be able to hurt my feelings even more deeply.

>>
>>20077328
Montus's priorities, it's not Judith therefore we don't care much about some rank and file guardsman slave.

Take the stone with her and place it near him.

Xynthia, eventually you're going to run out of new names and repeat yourself.
>>
>>20077379
Seconded. Can't do anything for him now, and if we ever GET a chance to help him, we will need his soul to do it.

A shame, I started to like him...

>>20077333
>I am a wonderful mistress, am I not?
>>20077320
That might be possible, but they will no longer be my slaves then, I get enough fights at work, I don't need rebellions at home. Once we get you started, I will need you to do some stuff for me, you might need help. Then I will agree with your plan.

"Macharius, forgive me. Recite your litanies, guardsman."

Litany to follow in a moment...
>>
>>20077328
To be spoken as we move toward Macharius:

"Emperor, forgive your servant his sins. Spread your divine light to give strength to the ones I have failed."

mental recitation:

O Emperor of Mankind, send your gaze to this guardsman, watch over your servant and soldier, and protect him from peril.

Then learn, for Marcharius' sacrifice must not be in vain.

Macharius was never a big dreamer. He knew that world is a tough place and he will not get much in the way of happiness here. But he was content. There was Maria and there was the Emperor. She gave him peace and He gave him purpose. When war came to Dasteron IV, he fought. He wasn't a hero, but he fought with all the courage he could muster in his human heart. He fought and bled for the Imperium, even when others laughed and called him a fool. Then war turned ugly. Orks they could fight, but there were others, shadows from the dark, burning cities far beyond the front lines. He was glad when they reassigned him to guard his home. But it wasn't for long. Shadows struck. Home burned, Emperor fell, Maria... There was no more Maria. Macharius became a living shell, who had all of his hopes crushed and all of his dreams shattered. A slave in body and prisoner in soul, there was nothing in the galaxy for him except suffering. Then... Angel of Death descended upon him, bringing a message of liberation and hiding a knife behind his back. You can feel all of this, as you look into the tears in his eyes, as he bleeds his very soul into the stone you hold. His lips repeat a silent plea "save me, Emperor", but God is not listening to him. His eyes turn glassy and he falls down, holding your leg, you think you can feel his soul leaving through his weak fingertips, flowing through you into the stone in your hand... Macharius is gone.

"A waste. He had more potential for your benefit alive. Are you really in a position to waste slaves as such?"

I'm guessing this soul won't be worth much. How many can I fit into this stone anyway? I wish to use my kills as currency for a change.

>Well there, congratulations, you just harvested your first soul! This calls for celebration, I'd say, if you were not a slave... You can keep it, he wasn't worth much. The souls of my kin that you'll harvest will be worth much, MUCH more. And I'll share with you, and maybe even teach you drink them, if you are good enough. See you when you return from Colliseum, bye, Dont.
She and Csvakshek leave the room, other slaves soon come to drag out Macharius' dead body. His eyes still look at you in surprise and disappointment as corpse leaves the room. One of the slaves approaches you:
>I am slave 128, we were told to go to the city under your command, master Dont. Do you wish to order us something?
>>
>>20077728
"Are any of you permitted to carry weapons in the city? If so, gather them and prepare to depart."

So, you enter the streets of Commoragh for the first time... Spires, constructions and endless walkways are more impressive than anything you've ever seen even in the biggest hives. Slave 128, a middle aged, grey-haired human, is very helpful:
>We are right now in one of the best and most orderly regions of Dark City, it is known as Middle Darkness, only High Commoragh is more prestigious than this, Mistress Xynthia Scardrake is valued by the Masters.

He shares some additional information with you:
http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Commorragh#.UBSFJaNg_IU

Your journey to the Colliseum is very quiet, on your way you pass through thousands of Dark Kin, their slaves and even a few Razorguard outposts, but all of them just take a look at your tattoo and let you pass. A few traders try to sell you some spook, little Tau girls or some ancient scrolls, but slaves 128 and 199 help you evade them. As you lose all those scavengers, you soon come to the gigantic arena, your destination. At the gates, Dark Eldar guardian sneers at you:
>Xynthia's pet, aren't you? Welcome to Colliseum of Cult of Strife. If you'll speak too much, you'll lose your tongue, if you watch too much, you'll lose your tongue, if you are curious, we will let you know how we feed our beasts. What do you want here?

>You are humble one, aren't you? Strange, big guys like you are valuable, because they are hard to train to be humble little bitches that we need them to be. Well, it's our gain. Come right in.
In a few minutes you are already walking down the Colliseum's corridor. It's real chaos here, you can see huge xeno-beasts in cages, being fed raw meat, gladiators of various species perfecting their combat techniques and victors, who just returned from the arena, singing drunken loud songs. As you go down even further, you see a spectacle - Wych fucking some mutant gladiator, probably in mid combat, without any shame in front of a crowd of spectators, who cheer and bet money on how is it going to end. Finally, you pass Halls of Pain, where losers are screaming as low tier Haemonculi amputate their limbs, save their lives, upgrade their bodies, or simply torture them for pleasure.
>Here it is armoury. Broken stuff is in the corner, you can take whatever you want from there.

You look through the heap of various discarded stuff and you find these things:

+Power Armour(34%, malfunctioning power core, friendly machine spirit)
+A Kroot rifle
+Half of Inquisitorial Rosette

Do you want to take any of these?
>>
>>20078516

Take the armor and the rosette. Attempt to determine if the kroot can fix the kroot rifle or not.

if it signals that it might, personally carry the weapon to avoid causing a scene.
