If you are going to try to break through this ring, it will be very hard, especially having in mind, that both of you are wounded.

As you enter the Tau fort, you notice, that there are numerous buildings to choose from, however as this is a military base, there are no buildings that would be completely insignificant:

Baracks x6
Command HQ
Generators
Armoury(locked, chance to unlock 15%)
Some kind of opening into underground turrets
Mess Hall
Vehicle Bay
Landing Pads
Communications centre

However there are some(very few) guards in the base, they have not yet spotted you... Rolling for the exact number.

Even Orca's are not very spacious for space marines, that are supposed to carry a dozen of Tau soldiers, so aircraft that is designed just for one Tau will be impossible for you to hide in. Also please remember that there are 2 of you. Also, there was a suggestion to go to Command centre. What do you do?

P.S. There are 11 guards atm in the camp and there will be a thousand more in 10 minutes

Command post, generators and armoury are the only three guarded facilities in the base. To get into command centre, roll d100 under 65 to get in with stealth or don't even roll if you want to paint walls in blue.

Yes, communications centre seems to be unguarded, you could enter it easily.

Silently taking down guards would be below 80. However then the risk that someone will miss them will go up each minute.

As someone who knows a thing or two about guns, I completely agree with you, that in nowdays it would be impossible to silence such a weapon. However in 40k it is possible, and even fluff states that.

Elegion and Vectus move like shadows among the buildings until they reach Communications centre. A single bored Tau takes a few slates and leaves it, he doesn't even lock the door. It seems, that xenos have built their infernal device well, it doesn't give you any openings to use. However, you can at least read some of the communications that were going through here. Here are a few important fact you found out:

>This base is designated 23, it means that there are at least 22 more outposts like this.
>This base is part of project called 'Tsunami', it is detailed as military-research-expansion effort, but almost everything is top secret and you can't access those files
>There is something called 'Bringer' in this base, apparently it is connected to the mysterious appearance of Tau in Segmentum Obscurus
>This base expects another 'package' tommorow, in 40 hours from now on. Message also promises reinforcements.

You and Vectus proceed towards the northern wall of the fort, trying not to get noticed by the guards, when you detonate demo-charges in the communications centre. Tau guards start running around, screaming, all concentrated in the southern part of the base, as you prepare to leave through the opposite side. Suddenly, Vectus holds your hand, listening to the cries of a sergeant.

Into the tunnels it is then... You decide, that after your message is delivered, this mission might indeed be worth the risk and turn back to base. As you approach, you notice, that tunnel entrance is guarded by 6 Tau warriors. A dozen seconds and twenty paces later it is guarded by 6 corpses, entrance is clear. You can already hear the hum of Tau anti-grav tanks approaching the base.

It seems indeed he does. As you go down the tunnels, you soon notice, that they are carved in stone, and old, very old, definitely not built by the Tau. In the crossroads you meet a confused Tau squad, you slaughter them without a doubt, the only one who manages to evade more than one hit from you is their kroot ally, but his beak too is crushed under your armoured boot in mere moments. First of the Kroot mercenaries are already trying to storm the room, but Vectus is mowing them down in calculated volleys, saving ammunition. From somewhere far above, you hear a call to surrender against the Greater Good, second time today. It seems they never learn. Vectus throws another grenade into the doorway, after that they stop offering you piece. Little xenos have decided to kill you and with cold frustration you realise that there are ten times more of them up there than you have rounds. But at least you know that it was not in vain. Vectus turns to you:
