The "Magic" Continues!

Previous Threads: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=%27Magical%27%20Girl%20Quest

============

You are currently being the Demi-God Like AI, Daedalus, local ReaDS Administrator for planet 13A. Little more than forty eight hours ago, an outpost planet on the rim of transhuman space named Regulus Prime went network silent in what has been revealed to be an attack by the <Unknown Contact/Vonnies>. In the proceeding hours, consensus decided to go through with an emergency countermeasure under the title Operation Mahou Shoujo to exploit a bug in the Vonnies' IFF that registers young girls as <Friendly/Non-Hostile>. The purpose of this operation is to hold off the Vonny tide until the system being developed under the title Project Riposte.

You have completed the recruitment of the first three girls personally, as well as authorized the induction of several hundred more into the "Firewall Cadets" program. You have also, in hopes of eliminating the need for true child soldiers, have created a 'daughter' from your alpha fork in an attempt to replicate the IFF bug. Continuing this, you created an infomorph in the perfect image of ALEX L. BARKER, barring that she is both pubescent and female.

You just finished watching the first logs of the girls' training. Their... poor performance was to be expected. The request for a six hour version of Minaka flipping herself over wasn't exactly suprising, and there may be such a thing being recorded upon your memory right now. theTRUTHisoutthere's post regarding the Operation wasn't exactly -unexpected- given the difficulty to keep a big secret within a mostly open network.

That your efforts to find em have been mostly futile is a big suprise, though.

Continue having a couple forks pluck away at the problem of outThere. Have some Firewall analysts take a look at the video.

Purchase another set of Saber clone bodies (or maybe a trio from the Agrias line) for our Alpha Team and to be stored at the Alpha Site.

Let's work on some weapons for Icarus now.
>>
>>20006441
Delegate people out to deal with the "Firewall Cadets", our personal efforts are going to be on this small test group. They'll probably be some of the first "magical" girls on the field of battle.

Prepare a press release to mollify the people once the knowledge has hit the point where keeping it secret is detrimental.

See how the Reimu, Minaka and Anne are dong. If they're improving quickly under Alex's tutelage.

Check up on our daughter and Alexa, see if they're getting along.

Try to get a rough time estimate from this on how long until they're combat functional.

I still believe that Basic Training of all magical girls should take place at either the Alpha Site or the Beta Site, in order to 1. give them the best training possible under Alex or Alexa Barker, and 2. help to instill a sense of esprit de corps, as well as 3. showing the new cadets that this is a world-wide effort, and that they are not alone in this, and that there are other magical girls they can rely on.

My one disagreement with that is that I simply don't think we have enough room, nor Alex/Alexa enough time, for all the recruits.

The other bases will probably have people on the level of the Red Comet available, and comraderie could be fostered by multiple-base events, like luncheons or speeches or something.
>>
>>20006641
Perhaps not enough time to give them all personalized training, but Alex is still the best Firewall operative we have. Having them be the Head Drill Instructor will still help, while other Drill Instructors take up the slack.
As for enough room, that's possible, but I don't think that it is a significant problem.

You fork off a few dozen betas to analyze the contents of the videos with the assistance of a team of biomorphic Firewall agents. It will likely be a day or so before they have anything concrete, though the one universal note between all of them is that the audvid is not how you described it. In fact, each individual agent is getting a unique set of Audio/Visual data. Which, given the size of the file relative to the apparent amount of data it is putting out, should be impossible.

You decide to purchase a boatload of Saber Mark IIs with much of your mad reps, figuring that the most balanced of the bodies would be the best suited for generic emergency backup. You would have purchased a few thousand of the Herculean Line, but the closed source on their genome and their lack of popularity means that there were only about twelve on planet that you could grab - which you do.

You try checking up on the girls to see if their training is at all progressing. At the moment, they are collapsed on the beds of their barracks, sound asleep and serene. You sort of feel like a bit of a creeper for watching.

You would attempt to see how Alexa and Icarus are getting along, but Alexa's body is still a ways out yet, and Alexa herself is engaged in verbal sparring with her 'brother'.

I'd bet any amount of reps that High Rick is a fork of the actual Rick, that is basically Bruce Wayne to Sober Rick's Batman. That's why he's leader despite being an annoying upload that apparently never does anything.

By the way, are we sure that the Arthurian legend hasn't picked up a few new seats? After all, Takamichi sure isn't in the current legend. Fifteen would be enough for a 3-person team from all bases.

Arthur, Guinevere, Galahad, Robin, Roland, Percival, Kusanagi, Merlin, Takamachi, Amuro, Shiki, Eddard, Brienne, Boromir, Lancelot.

I'd also note that the 12 that were accepted weren't of lesser moral fiber, as many seem to have taken it.

You figure now would be the time to start conferring with the rest of the ReaDS as to what you all will do when the flow of information regarding the existence and motivation of the Vonnies becomes too great for your censorship measures to contain without inconviencing the Networks. Deciding that you had no fun whatsoever getting high off of Rick's personality the last joint personality Omniwik - and the greater majority of ReaDS administrators agreeing with you - you connect your Alpha Fork to the omnIRC.

Put together some press releases concerning hostile First Contact.
Confer with the other AI's if we should include the loss of Regulus Prime (I think we should; an entire planet going missing from the Net is not going to be able to be covered up for too long).
Definitely include that we have mobilized Firewall, and are preparing orbital and anti-nanite defenses at all arcologies.
Probably should also include that effective counter-measures have been found, and that a comprehensive solution is currently being worked on.
>>
>>20007181
Well, Rick going to do something could either be very good or extremely bad.

How is everyone else's recruiting efforts going?

Does anyone else have any more information on the Vonnies or good conjecture on goals and origin?

Then get started on press releases.

We should be rather honest, we don't want to give people an incorrect threat assessment.

That being said we should give it a bit of flair and add a bit of heroism to us, but not to the level where anyone can say we're wrong about anything we put in it or that it looks like we're going too far in that direction. No lies, at most some flowery heroic language and very light exaggeration.
>>
>>20007415
Word the press release mostly frankly, not too much flair or they'll see that something is wrong.
Give it a confident spin, though don't downplay the dangers. We don't want people to think that we're trying to cover things up by making the threat seem inconsequential.
Make it sound like a very big natural disaster, someone that is going to strain our resources and be difficult to deal with, but not impossible to overcome, and just something that we have to keep working at.

You and your peers across human space, spending some time to come to consensus and development the proper article for eventual release over the OmNews RSS System.

===OmNews===

FIRST CONTACT GONE HORRIBLY WRONG.

Approximately ## hours ago, 12-Gamma "Marty" of the Regulus Prime System made first contact with an unknown species, since dubbed <Hostile Contact/Vonnies>. Unfortunately, this contact was of the hostile variety, and ended with the <death/irrecoverable> of the some forty million transhumans living on Regulus Prime.

Doubly unfortunately, these 'Vonnies' are spreading - or perhaps have already spread - throughout the in-between places of greater Transhuman Space. Should you have turned you telescopes and radio transceivers towards your local Oorts, you will have noticed a distinct lack of Libertarian presence. This is because they have been eaten.

This is the bad news, coupled with the worse news that they seem intent on invading our systems and eating our planets.

The good news is that we have countermeasures being developed, and a special force being prepared to be deployed to stall them until the countermeasures are ready. You may have noticed the mass recruitment of young girls into a previously non-existent 'cadet' branch of Firewall. These young girls are the agents of Operation: Mahou Shoujo, whose goal is to exploit a bug in the Vonny IFF and stall their forward party's advance.

A representative of 'Project Riposte' was unavailable for interview, but they have assure us that when the time comes, "It Will Be Good"

============

Provided that the consensus approves, this will be the first press release.

Excellent, I think that Daedalus has everything that needs to be set up right now dealt with.

>>20007702
Include in the good news that "All contingencies are being planned for, and even at the earliest, the main Vonnie swarm will not arrive for 4 months. If you doubt us, here's the math; you can check it yourself."

Give them a timeframe, and that it's far enough away that they won't panic.
>>
>>20007702
I can't help but feel this is going to go horribly wrong... but then again, keeping it contained would just mean it'd go horribly wrong right when we need it least.

But I'll usually tell you what to roll in the post.

See the second post for stats.
>>
>>20007784
Right, right. Embed a spreadsheet with all planets that have imminent invasions with projections on when the main swarm will arrive.

Or even better, include that "The main swarm in the Oort Cloud has been found to not attack until all Quantum Entanglement Network Communication Centers on a planet have been disabled. These estimated times are only for how long it will take a swarm to arrive after the last network center has been taken offline; as there are many backups per planet, and we have taken steps to construct new redundant network centers, the projections should be taken with a grain of salt."

You and the consensus continue to tweak the initial planned press release, including things such as the time until the swarms will arrive once the signal is sent for each world, and the reassurance that contingencies are being planned for. Up to and including total planetary evacuation, should the need arise. But this sort of bureaucratic work is what makes up the majority of your long and rather dull, life. So you decide to spend an extra runtime or so to check up on your beloved tomboyish daughter.

You are now the Icarus.

You are unfortunately clothed - mother insists that it is a human tradition, but you think it's stupid - in a large tye-die shirt that hangs off one shoulder and reaches your knees, and not much else. You are back in storage area where the glass mother had given birth to you, awaiting the decantation of your -new friend-! The room is much brighter than when you were born, having recently been installed with lights by the patrolling contruction bots, which have also been scurrying around the weapons lab compilers for some reason.

The new girl is floating in her tank, waiting for her consciousness to be downloaded into her mind - you are somewhat jealous of the fact that she doesn't have to abide by any stupid traditions that keep the air off of her skin. Suddenly, the girl's eyes open for the first time. The amneotics drain from the tank, replaced with a mix of nitrogen and oxygen gas as the breath mask is unbuckled from around her head. The transluscent graphene panels slide to the sides, the shock of the warm base air hitting the girls skin like a hammer. She takes her first step...

And promptly falls on her arse.

You reach out to the girl, who gladly takes your arm. You would offer her your shirt to help her dry off, but you have the sinking feeling that mother wouldn't approve. The skin of another feels rather interesting, nearly as comforting as the gentle flow of water that envelops you as you swim. Pulling her up takes some moderate effort, as the other girl has a quite impressive level of muscle density.

"Greetings!" You kiss her on one cheek and then the other, as was the traditional greeting on Old Terra's province of France. Humans liked tradition, right? "My name is Icarus Daedottir! I like chocolate, the Cyborg Combat Ponies, and the air's warm kiss upon my breast. I don't like open source bolognese, but I am new to this whole biomorph thing so I'm not quite sure if I'm doing this right."

A robot brings a towel for the shivering girl, who promptly wraps it around herself.

"P-pleasure," she says. Odd, you didn't have this reaction. Or maybe you did, and you just didn't notice. But you see some life in her, when the last of likes takes its time to sink in and she pinkens. "I'm Alexa. Alexa J. Barker, and -" she sneezes "-I'm going to be your combat instructor and squad leader." She shivers and stumbles. "Gods and minor deities I... I mean bro hates resleeving. And I think I'm gonna share that opinion of his. Now, lets go down to the armory and see what we can get you outfitted with."

She blushes.

"Could, ah, you carry me there?" She asks sheepishly. "Bloody sleeve-shakes have got my legs only half capable of moving."

You hoist the girl into your arms, cradling her shivering form and allowing her to sap off some of your warmth to (hopefully) get her new sleeve up to temperature. She further pinkens as she instinctively snuggles closer to you. You smile, and carry her down to the armory, quite unsubtley her up in comparison to yourself.

For some reason she reddens. "Stupid... fucking... sleeve-shakes."

You arrive at the armory and place her down in a rather comfy chair. As she orders the constructor bots to sew her into the carapace zero-suit that will be the interface between herself and her power armor, she lays back, most contented, the towel falling from her neck. A few button presses, and a platform disjoins from the floor, a ring around it with lasers and constructor nanites moving vertical from its bottom to the ceiling.

"So, what exactly do you need me to do?" you ask.

"I need you to-" she coughs "-strip out of your clothes and get on the sta-"

Your shirt falls gently into her arms, you having shucked it off post haste. You wait eagerly on the stage, awaiting the next step. "Now what?"

Alexa blinks, and practices her muscle control by folding your shirt. "Well, now we decide on what you're going to be using."

If we're going for some kind of AoE lightning attack, why not include step-up transformer drones designed to help amplify the discharge and keep it going between the drones and Icarus?
Or drones that help ionize the air to make the attack more effective.
>>
>>20009114
I'd rather have a polearm or something than a trident, personally.

>>20009102
The fuck did the shotgun come from?
>>
>>20009114
Lightning was Zeus' thing, I just first suggested trident for an at-the-time marine sub-theme, and i've kept with it 'cause I like the idea.

So whatever.
>>
>>20009153

Trident is as polearm.
>>
>>20009130
No, no, the third member has water as their theme.

>>20008927 this, but anything not a trident.
>>
>>20009168
He probably means something like a halberd, or glaive.
>>
>>20009162

Well, lightning isn't BAD for a water theme, as long as she's not going to zap herself.

>>20009148

I like that. Not attack drones, transformer drones to enhance her. The vonnies hopefully won't eat them until AFTER at least one instance of them getting the huge AOE zap off.
>>
>>20009182

Most likely. And my spelling is shot, so many typos.
>>
>>20009199
How bout the drones can have repeater relays installed onto an attack drone base? So they'd be both.
>>
>>20009153
What's wrong with a shotgun/grenade launcher as a ranged option when we're fighting a swarm? She might need the close-in high rate of fire and cryo-grenades when she needs to get in close to the Vonnies during the first fight to test the IFF bug.
>>
>>20009148
>>20009199

why are we attaching vital weapon functions to something outside the weapon? It seems silly.

just say teh weapon can do it
>>
>>20009243
that's why I had an Instant attack option on my heavy weapon idea.

just giveing her a shotgun would be boring.
>>
>>20009246
I've gotta agree with this. Sending out supplementary drones also has the potential of them getting nommed. I mean, you could say that for a lot of things, but I think it's particularly applicable for dispatched drones
>>
>>20009243
Because 1: She has the drones. 2: She has the lightning, and 3: should keep weight down on flying.

Anyway, I like lightning katana.
>>
>>20009246

Drones are for when we want an even bigger boom.
>>
>>20009301
Or, we can just add extra capacitors to the suit.
>>
>>20009263
>>20009289
I still think that the shotgun, as a proven and reliable method of dealing with the Vonnies, should still be carried.
I want Icaus to have a weapon available that we know works and is reliable.
>>
>>20009350
That's why I included the vulcan cannon gun drones. A hail of high velocity metal. Include variable positioning through use of the drones' hover systems, we can get all kinds of angles, and fire spread.
>>
>>20009350
We have matter compilers and extreme FTL.

anything we suggest aside from a weapon made from antimatter and ponies will be reliable.
>>
>>20009350
The drones are basically flying shotguns if that helps.
>>
>>20009393
Do you know what a Vulcan cannon is? They're not shotguns at all.

They're better.
>>
>>20009449

Lots of big bullets. Thousands of them.
>>
>>20009575
Exactly.
>>
So, we seem to have an agreement on:

Light flying power armor
ZappyDoomPower
Twin Vulcan Cannon hovering gundrones

Not quite agreed on, and the counts are pretty rough:

Melee weapon form; with a few for trident, a few for katana, a few for rapier, one or two for just lightning gloves, or a non-trident polearm)
>>

This. Icarus shall be our Kusanagi!
>>
>>20009898
Bugger Katanas.

Either a Trident or a Winged Spear.
>>
>>20009871

I wonder how light Icarus will try to go on the armor, or if she accepts the practicality of this type of clothing.
>>
Was >>20009898, deleted and reposted to clarify something.
>>20009871
I vote for an electric katana with a superconducting core that also reaches to the surface of the back end, from the hilt to the back of the tip.
>>
>>20009933
Man, next time just make a new post expanding on what you meant.
>>
>>20009931
I think she will understand the practicality of it. She finds clothes silly and restrictive, she understands the use of having armor when you're fighting. If it was cold outside she'd put on a coat, her nudism isn't a political statement or anything like that, she just finds it unneeded most of the time.

She'll probably have three states, in armor, naked, and forced to wear clothing.
>>
>>20009913
I'd prefer an electro-katana, but a winged spear would be acceptable, I guess.
>>
>>20009871
I'll take any weapon over a katana. Wrist mounted discharge with ghostbuster powerpack preferred, but anything aside from a katana.

We could even go durp like the (quite fun) recent ghostbuster game and have freezing photon beams.

god that game was awesome.
>>
>>20010000

That's how I see it too.
Though she probably will go for the lightest armor she can reasonably. No point in looking like a space marine.
>>
>>20010068
I would like her to have armor, but she is a perma-flyer so it'll have to be light.
>>
>>20010087
>a perma-flyer so it'll have to be light.
We're sufficiently advanced, right? We've solved the quantum entanglement distance problem, and we can reliably teleport living beings.
Can we manipulate the Higgs Field? Because if we can, we can control mass and it won't matter how heavy or light a suit of armor is, we can MAKE it lighter by reducing its mass.
>>
>>20010144
Ask READS if it's so. Bulk also comes into play, and mass is part of an armor's effectiveness... if they even use solid projectiles. We also already have the energy demand of a rapid fire lightning discharge system.
>>
>>20010144
Not a terrible point.

"Okay," Alexa says, typing away at the console. "Let's see if we can get you something appropriate. Boss Lady's got some plans for this squad, wants us to be as heavy hitting as the first squad is flexible." A drone brings her some coffee, and the constructor bots finish sewing up the neck of her carapace. "Did your mother get the right measurements for this?" She half complains. "It's fracking tight around the... ah, ta hell with it. We're gonna make you our glass cannon."

"Glass... cannon?" You try the words out on your tongue. You understand the definition of each word separately - glass, an old use of silicon oxide to form a fragile transluscent sheet to use as windows or chalices. Cannon, an old chemically propelled mass accelerator used for artillery purposes, name adopted for modern weaponry with similarly high calibre. You're not quite sure that the two ought to mix, especially if the glass is what's being used to make the cannon. "Do you wish for me to break after one shot?"

"No," Alexa dismisses your concern with a wave. "We're just going to be sacrificing some of your potential defense to boost up your offense. Since if all goes according to plan, neither you nor I need to worry about getting nommed."

"And if it doesn't?" You ask.

"Then it's a good thing I can run at five sounds." Alexa deadpans. "And carry you at the same time."

Alexa presses a button on the console. "So, let's begin suiting you up."

The disk at your feet starts to spin, and then slowly starts to rise. Nanites dart in and out of it, wrapping your feet it the carbon nanotubing that will form the basic components of your lighter armor. The machine reaches your legs, and you realize with some gloom that it's going to be even mor restrictive than your shirt. Well, better safe and clothed than unclothed and dead, you suppose. Besides, not all environments are as suited to lack as the climate of the Beta Site.

"Man," You say, as it just about reaches your waist, and the half hour mark. "This is taking foreVEEEERRRRR!"

Oh my. Alex chooses that particular moment to drink very deeply from her cup of coffee, in such a way that would most certainly be conductive to hiding her face's red bright red blush as that last syllable rips from your throat. Had she actually been flushed, of course, and not simply enjoying the sweet taste of FREEDOM.

As it finally sews off the collar, it gives a much quicker up and down to lace the suit with assist fiber, micro capacitors, the obligatory shield generator, and a few more esoteric bits that may or may not allow you to give yourself negative mass. A second layer goes over that, adding some minor plating and making the armor a bit better insulated. Once it is complete, you note the tabs that let you slide it off and back on with the ease of a glove.

"Now, I'm thinking this lovely trident, for ease of thunderbolting." An electrically charged trident appears on screen. "And a few Vulcan drones loaded to the brim with FLN cartridges." A pair of dainty little fliers appears on the screen. "Since you can get your multitasking on better since you're infoborn."

You grin. This will do quite nicely.

>First to three: Flying hug-tackle-kiss Alexa

Deciding to test out your suit's flight capacity before you do anything else, you leap from the little stage as it slowly retracts to the ground and tackle Alexa. Or, at least try to. Had this been, say part of an OMNITUBE Audvid posted by TheRealRedComet183902, no doubt one of the highest rated comments would be the demand for a six hour replay of your rather spectacular flip. Arms that were supposed to embrace your new friend end up knocking away her coffee. A kiss meant for her forehead winds decided somewhere else. The tackle, meant only to rocket you into her instead knocks both of you out of her chair.

"My... my delicious freedom." Alexa laments the loss of her coffee. Your head slowly rises from - well not between, given that her carpace is less form fitting that than your flightsuit, perhaps -atop- is the right word? - her breasts, a sheepish grin on your face. Alexa's scowl struggles to remain not a grin, before she closes her eyes in yield and pats you on the head. "Ah, ta hell with it. IT served its purpose."

She looks at the remains of the control room, the constructer bots already scurrying to pick everything up and return it to its place.

"I think that's one of the things you'll need to be learning." she says. "Ah... let's try not flying until we've got some practice with it. Speaking of which - you know where that is? I still haven't got my new ARglasses yet."

"Yeah," You take her hand. "Follow me!"

"I'm sorry for ah..." you trail off, trying to find the right words to describe that -disaster- earlier. "Slamming everything about earlier."

She shakes her head. You take that a cue to continue.

"It's just - everything is so new and exciting!" You say, a star in your eyes. "Flying, swimming, singing, eating, chocolate..." You turn a beat red, your voice becoming a bit smaller. "Other things... and making a friend!" Your eyes start to moisten, and you wonder whether or not what you feel is that human emotion called sadness, or that human condition called fear, or that human emotion called embarassment, or that human feeling called love, or some strange and bizarre mixture of them and a thousand others that you would be suprised to find is so common. "You're... the best new thing I've seen, and I-" you hang your head. "I'm messing this all-"

Alexa interrupts you like the paragon she is, patting you gently on the head. "Take it easy. Everyone makes mistakes - even my brother, and he's had a few centuries at trying to get this wholoe 'human' thing down." She musses your hair a bit. "People like you and me, who for all our knowledge implanted by our brother or our mother, for all our phsical, and mental maturity, were still only born in the last 24 hours. We've got a little leeway."

>Last post of the night. New thread/continue this one tommorow.

Alexa picks up the pair of iGlasses, flipping over the little tag that was attached to it. "To Alexa, from Icarus. Heart. Heart. Heart. Heart. Heart." She gives Icarus a look askance. "Heart?"

"What?" you ask sheepishly. "You're my new bestest friend in the whole wide world." You look up at the ceiling. "Well, technically, you're my only friend in the whole wide world, but hopefully that will change by the time the new girls come in to the Site." Alexa is still giving you that look, which is kind of... disconcerting? "What isn't that how friends are supposed to address one another, especially when female? From what I understand, hearty signs are expected in our handwrote missives."

"No, it's just." Alexa turns a little pink, but shakes it off. "Never mind. Let's get to practice."

The girls do about fifteen laps around the gym as a warm up, before beginning a few basic stretches to get themselves used to their new bodies. Icarus, predictably, complains that there is no reason for them to be wearing their armor, or anything for that matter, while doing non-dangerous exercises in a non-hazardous room. Alexa cuts her off with the 'tradition' trump card, before having the other girl practice the erratic controls of her armor's flight system.

They finish off their workout with some non-live fire exercises with their new weapons. Icarus does all of rather mediocre, missing most of her shots, even with the drones giving her targetting backup. Alexa does somewhat better, all of her shots actually hitting the targets, though her aim isn't nearly as dead center as she wants.

Then they head to the showers, to clean themselves up.

>Wat do?

This. While Icarus and Alexa is the OTP, it will happen on its own time.
>>
>>20011817
Well now if we're shipping, we have to make a portmanteu of their names.

Icalexa?
>>
>>20012077
Alexus, Alexrus, Alerus, Iclexa.
>>
>>20011757
That is far too straightforward.

>>20011661
"A-Alexa? I had a... a vision? while I was sleeping. It was really weird, can I sleep in here with you tonight?"

Not mentioning that the dream was of Alexa, of course.
>>
>>20012200
Then Icarus shall commit the most deviant of acts.

She'll slip into bed with the unsuspecting Alexa and snuggle.
>>
>>20012252
Exactly.
>>
I really wonder what Icarus and how she acts implies about Daedalus.
>>
>>20012375
That AI's can't handle hormones.
>>
>>20012375
We already know that Daedalus had a wild and crazy youth. She did dopamine simulator programs, signed public keys with strangers, didn't put up firewalls when downloading forks. She was adventurous as all fuck.

As Daedalus has gotten older, wiser and so on she's calmed down a lot.

Icarus is around a day old, she has a good amount of knowledge and a 14 year old equivalent body but everything she knows which she got from her mother is from an infomorph's point of view and hearing that people enjoy chocolate pales in comparison to actually eating some and getting some THC as well.

Icarus is not really a mad Hedonist, she's just curious as can be, inexperienced with the world and she has lots of hormones influencing her that she has no idea what to do with.
>>
>>20012375
Not much. Icarus is modified a fair amount from Daedalus' state, and gets to deal with an unpredictable meat body, rather than wholly reasonable silicon.

Also >>20012481 and >>20012510
>>
>>20012510

So extremely excited, slightly horny, and not sure why.
>>
>>20012550
Pretty much, also would probably be pretty emotional. If Alexa yells at or scolds her she might start crying a bit, she'd cry buckets if Alexa was actually mean to her. She doesn't really have the life experience to roll with the punches and it'd be her first and only friend being mean which would make it worse. She's young, based from an infomorph which makes understanding and controlling her emotions harder and she seems to really like Alexa.

As for the horny bit, yeah. She might not fully understand it in practice, she knows the principles behind it more or less, I doubt that Daedalus neglected to put a basic knowledge of the birds and the bees in there, but she has little real experience with it. She knows that she thinks Alexa is really pretty and soft, that the itch down there feels good when touched and doesn't really necessarily know where the boundary between friends and sex partner is, doesn't really know there is a boundary.

It's okay, Hexer. You're not alone.
>>
>>20015895

Cute girls get to have all the fun.
>>
So we know that all the little girls survived and all the old dudes in little girl bodies died from which we concluded the vonnies care about the mind rather than the body and started experimenting with creating artificial little girl minds.
But why are we still putting everything in little girl bodies? We could experiment with things such as coating vital infrastructure like our AI core and the quantum communication stations in a living barrier of flesh inhabited by a little girl mind so the vonnies can't get at them or-
Warning: Emergency shutdown initiated by <ethical subroutine>
>>
>>20018452
Its probably both, I think. We could try a young mind in an adult body, I suppose.
>>
>>20018552

Kemonomimi. If we're going with non-standard bodies, that's what I want to see.
>>
>>20018749
They would likely be fine, it's not that big a variance from the human standard. Wouldn't be surprised if (assuming READS considers it) there would be a fair number of recruited girls that already have such modifications.
>>
>>20019939

I just have this feeling that it's the combination of body and mind that triggers the bug.
I'd rather avoid testing the young mind in an old body. Seems like it'd end up similar to the way they treat young boys.

And I like fluffy tails.
>>
>>20020009

Should make the third member of Beta team a fox girl.
>>
>>20018552
Well, the Beta Facility team seems to be the experimental portion of our team, so it's worth a shot. We should probably consider finding out if the BODY's gender (as opposed to the mind's) matters. Though for that we'd want to find someone with that as a preexisting condition. If that made sense.
>>
>>20020104
I'd rather not go there.
>>
>>20020122
Yeah, I take your point. I was just taking it to its logical conclusion.
>>
>>20020038
>>20020104
Nah.
>>
>>20020226

So no fluffy tail?
Now I'm sad...
>>
>>20020267
Well given how Icarus would react to this new thing, absolutely no work could get done in Beta team due to Icarus constantly stroking fluffy tail and making Alexa join her.
>>
>>20020009
I'm not actually advocating the young mind old body thing, just throwing it out.

Fluffy tails are fine, too. And they don't change the body shape that much, really.

>>20020038
I'm entirely okay with this.
>>
>>20020336
Damn, you do have a convincing argument, there.
>>
>>20020267
Well, my plan for the last member of Team Beta involves water, and the only animal parts that work well with that are uncute ones no schoolgirl would have on their body. But if body-morphic tech exists, at least one of the 15 will probably have a fluffy tail and ears. Do not fear.

[spoilersontg]Just... don't, y'know, go overboard. Either in number or level.[/spoilersontg]

Are we really trying to add cat girls to this.

Get hold of yourselves men.
>>
>>20020419
Of course not. It's never catgirls.

Now, foxgirls, that's different.
>>
>>20020369
Mmm. You could probably go for a "selkie" feel, but yeah.
>>
>>20020419
This is the same universe where people can and will transfer their consciousness into a cephalopod for any number of reasons including porn.

A girl having cat ears is not really going to be that strange of an occurrence.

Also we're talking about foxgirls with fluffy tails.
>>
>>20020446
it the same thing and you know it.

The line in the space particles is here. Let me go gather enough of them for a line first.
>>
>>20020419
Catgirls and foxgirls probably make up at least 20% of the body mods and body lines offered by the Face Conglomerate, and the flagship line of the Creative Consortium's MimiMODE brand.
>>
>>20013472
I wonder if the THC will still be good if we melt the Bloblerone bar so we can lick it off of Alexa's naked body?
>>
>>20020614
it should, there's no reason for it to breakdown. you can just order a melted cup of it if you wanted.

hedonism HOOOOOOOOO
>>
>>20020492
Actually I was making a reference to Papa-N's Generation A quest. In which the MC will frequently lament that it is never cat girls.
>>
>>20020685

Still don't know what Spidergirls eat.
>>
>>20020732
Maybe the reason that it's never cat girls is because the spidergirls eat them.

Hm... let's go full-on Cape Comic with this and give them enhanced reflexes, extreme flexibility, sleek black body-suit and razor-sharp talons that oscillate at extremely high frequencies.

Think... Vibrosword meets Wolverine's claws.

We're talking about teens here; they gonna be all over this.
>>
>>20020913
I think we'd have to take a few months to grow some bodies for that, but I could see it working. Generally speaking.
