There is only pain.

And war.

And a mocking laughter of some cruel god in the shadows.

For a moment you see flashes of a distant life, a life that belonged to a boy that died on the Mechanicus operating table on Luna, before the mutations. Then Chapter Master, smiles at you with that gentle sadness and gives your orders before the last battle, your personal Armageddon that will end you. There is ancient evil metal in the distance, spilling the blood of your brothers on the milk-white snow. But that is not your war. Then you see her. Judith, the angel, the sister, the meaning. The one you failed to protect. You are dead for everyone except her. Is there hope? But hope requires sacrifice in this world. Light shines brightest before being devoured by shadows. And that strange feeling in your hearts. Is it..?

Then you open your mouth, breathe in and come back into existance again. So that's what space ships feel when they jump into the warp for the first time. But wait, no. This is not the warp. Webway, some ancient place of heretical sorcery that Eldar use to travel between the worlds. Slowly, you come into your senses. What you thought to have lasted for ages, seems to have happened minutes ago. Your body is still sweating from the fight in the ancient temple and the stump of the arm you lost is still bloody and hurts like hell. You look around.

A beautiful shifting mass of lights and mists, it reminds you of flowing water, stars in the night or maybe spirals of smoke from the fire. Behind you there is an inactive Webway gate, but all the inscriptions are in xeno runes. There is no sign of the Dark Eldar and numerous passageways lead out of this temple. What do you do?

Webway is a strange and mysterious place. As you proceed through the ancient Eldar ruins, you notice that they are very different - some of the statues and buildings seem to have been built yesterday, while others are just a little more than piles of rubble that have been here for millenia. With cold shiver you remember all the terrible stories that brothers shared in their free time about the unholy tricks Warp plays with time. Sometimes whole ships would go missing in the Immaterium and emerge after centuries without any knowledge how much time has passed, while others are said to have even managed to turn the laws of universe on their head and comeback before they have even left... You don't get lost and manage to keep the track of where exactly you are, but there is no sign of Judith or the damned raiders anywhere. After hours of searching you have to admit for yourself, that they have slipped your fingers. However you continue to wander through the labyrinth, looking for some clue that could help you. Soon, you notice some strange portal in a niche you passed, it seems active and emanates bright green light. Do you risk using it or continue going there, where you are a little bit more sure that your soul will not get ripped out?

Once more you cease to exist, but only for a split second, before you appear in some strange hall. It is brightly illuminated by strange stone lamps in the walls and there are many different webway gates here, it must have been a transport hub. However now many of these are destroyed, shattered and covered in strange green fungi that seems to be alive. Suddenly you remember your training back in the Chapter about the daemonic entities. Ghaz most likely is not a proper daemon, just a 7th rank psychic automata, a mere warp spawn, thought given form. It has no identity of it's own and close to no agency, so it absorbs emotional emanations from it's creator - you, in this case. The longer you will stay around him, the more he will become like in terms of personality, because he will literally 'borrow' your memories, thoughts and mental patterns. Once you point at the portal Ghaz makes a sad face.

Just to clarify it:

In my 40k-verse emotions and 'power of will' are very important, so technically Eldar 'Daemons' are just as much possible as Imperial Saints. However most of Eldar put their faith into the new god they are creating + try to supress as much emotions as possible, so this is very rare. Regarding 'Daemon prince' of Cegoratch - i don't think it works like that, but receiving 'Gifts' from him or other major blessings - quite possible. Then, when you can fuck with time, minds, fates and sanities in power level you become DP, but you still aren't 'possessed' by Cegoratch, he isn't interested in manifesting himself in material universe.
