You are a Magical Girl, and you are very sober at the moment. You were enjoying a very pleasant buzz just a few minutes earlier, though, courtesy of two bottles of vodka and your own Soul Gem swimming in the stuff. It's always hard to deal with things when a horrific black-eyed nightmare in a pink dress suddenly decides to harsh on your buzz, just like that. You flick away the cigarette you've smoked down to its filter, but not before using its dying embers to light another in its place. Your arms dealer and current drinking partner, a small girl named Misaka, is currently drooling into your skirt, sleeping the sleep of the blessed. Your other drinking partner, erstwhile cyclops and Eversor Sakura Kyoko, is busy screaming at her girlfriend over the phone. You've unlocked two entries from your mysterious diary application on your new cellphone. The first entry was talking about some sort of armor, you guess that it's the one you have Misaka working on. The second is...just a bit more disturbing to recount, urging you to go on a fetchquest to end the world before someone else does. You'd like to unlock the others, but the app itself has been disabled temporarily, strangely enough. It's times like this you wish you could say that you've been drinking a bit too much, but you're not. Not at the moment anyway. You are now currently trying to get your fellow Magical Girls together and alert them about the dangers of the golden weapons that a certain pink-haired someone is trying to foist off you and other magical girls. You believe that these weapons, while decidedly stylish and more powerful than their non-gold versions, happen to drive their wielders completely and totally insane.
lYou've seen it happen to someone already, and you had to deal with them the only way you knew how. You've seen it happen to yourself firsthand, too, although you managed not to get carried away. With luck, it may not even happen to you as it did to Kure.No such luck. Not for you, not in this universe. No luck at all.By your watch, it's around four in the afternoon, approaching evening. What do you do? Calling Mami is an option, but you're not so sure you should remind her about what happened to Kirika, even if it is just to warn her. Maybe you should give her some time to deal with it first? Kyuubey is also an option - he'd want to know what Misaka had just said. Keeping your diary's contents to yourself seems to be a good idea, though.
Oh damn is it that time of day already?I guess we should head home. Iori will be back soon right? We can call Mami on the way.
Call Mami to the meeting as well. No sense in her being flipped to Pinky's cause because we want to spare her feelings.
>>19803308Call Kyuubey. He's got the weapons now anyway, and meeting in a secure location to talk about potentially sensitive stuffs seems like a good idea.Start off by telling him about Misaka, and asking if such a meeting would be a good idea.
>>19803308Continue to pet Misaka while we make some calls.Call Kyuubey, inform him of Misaka's drunken but still rather prophetic sounding statement about the missing pieces and ending the world before she does. Then we'll call up all the Magical Girl Gang against Golden Weapons and have us all meet and our place for an information session on what they are, what their purpose is and a vow to not fucking use weapons that turn you bugfuck crazy.Logical leap, we already know that our shield has time powers, we could deduce that fixing it would bring them back to full force and perhaps allow options aside from time stop. Given that we were told to destroy the world it is not a leap to assume that it is through this medium that we would "destroy the world".
>>19803339Hold on, he may want to hold Misaka in quarantine and perhaps see just what corruption by Pinky does. We can't do that to Misaka or any of the others. At the very least, we need to discuss what happened with Mami, Kyoko, Sayaka, and Misaka. Shit, throw in Iori too, seeing as it appears you don't need to be a magical girl for Pinky to do her thing.
>>19803352Telling Kyuubey about Misaka is definitely a bad idea. Although he is kinda reasonable in this setting you have to remember he is a fucking asshole that cares only about his objectives. We don't want Misaka to become a potential liability for him.
>>19803352Depends on how close Deculture sticks to the source material. Homura's shield could time-stop and time travle backwards by about one month to a specific date once all the time stop sand inside the shield moved from one gem to the other. Chiaki's shield, on the other hand, we don't know luch about aside frok the fact that the last time we tried to use it it didn't work and Kirika nearly took our face off because of that...
>>19803308Call Mami.It is distasteful but unavoidable, given her desire to help and protect everyone she is very corruptible by Pinky
>>19803398He has stuck quite close to it for powers and the only real changes have been things like our shield being broken
>>19803398I know about the canon stuff, but as you said we don't know exactly how close we're sticking to source material, so I'm trying to operate entirely on in character knowledge with as few leaps of logic as possible. It's a fun exercise.
>>19803303It was suggested last thread that if Sayaka is preoccupied, we might let her finish her mission. Then gather again for a second meeting. Or tell her ourselves afterwards along with other people whom Sayaka is likely to believe. She IS in the middle of a mission, after all. She may really need that extra grief seed or stuff, and a distraction may prove to be very inconvenient for her.
>>19803455Yeah we can delay the meeting for her to finish her mission but not longer
>>19803455I don't think she is that busy, her and Cyclops seem to be in the middle of a screaming match on the phone. But we can delay, we'll have them over for dinner or something like that.
>>19803455>>19803464I can't take that long to purge a delivery service anyway.
>>19803359He didn't put Murderface in quarantine.>>19803389Oh boy paranoia brigade out in force again.
>>19803389 >>19803359 >>19803352You hold off on calling Kyuubey for now, and dial Mami's number instead. By your last conversation in the Officio, you know that contact between the both of you is going to be a bit...strained. Much more when what you'll be talking to her about is what led to you retiring Kirika in the first place. She picks up after the third ring, and you could hear both her and another voice - Iori - talking excitedly about something. You smile a little, hoping that her current mood would ease your conversation with her a bit - but her voice turns a bit subdued as she finally greets you."Yes? Chiaki-san, can I help you?"...Wishful thinking. You greet her a moment later as you glance down on the still-sleeping Misaka, running your fingers through her hair every now and then. You get what sounds like a purring sound from the somnolent arms dealer as you do so. It's then, too, that you manage to pluck up the courage to tell her about the meeting, cringing inwardly at how you imagine yourself sounding like."...Alright," Mami replies coolly as you finish. "Iori-chan and I are on our way back to your apartment, in any case. Let's all meet there so I can here what you have to say."Well, at least she didn't yell at you or something, right? You bid her goodbye, and she does so, as well. You wait for her to remind you to be careful, but it never comes, replaced instead with the buzz of a dead line. You place the smartphone back into your inventory as you look towards Kyoko, letting out a sigh. It seems that she's just about finished talking to Sayaka as well, and she blinks her one good eye at you. This was going to be a long night.
>>19803483We shouldn't put something like that past him. What better way to gain an understanding of your enemy and their capabilities than watching what their influence can do first hand?
>>19803485Why can't she get her eye back like we did our arm?
We need to make a decision as a group about how we move forward.
>>19803491What better way to shoot your organisation in the foot than by locking your agents' best source of weaponry into a box?
>>19803502Missing an arm makes you weaker, missing an eye and using a Tsuba as an eyepatch makes you more badass. Maybe she doesn't want to fix it or the wound is magical enough in nature that it isn't even worth trying.
>>19803508Most magical girls never change weapons (we are exception as our weapon is not offensive), and Kyuubey must have other sources as well.
>>19803485Why are we in such a hurry? Surely we can let them finish the purge mission first? Were just going to get yelled at.
>>19803514Missing an eye also give you a dead angle and fuck up your depth perception.
>>19803502Either:a. The wound that Kirika gave her is magical so it can't heal properly.orb. She's perfectly fine. The eyepatch is just to look cool.
>>19803546Probably "a". She sounded pretty bitter about having to put the eyepatch on every morning.
>>19803485Exactly half an hour later, all three of you are piled inside a cab headed to your apartment. Misaka has unfortunately been asleep the entire time you carried her in your arms, letting the girl snooze as Kyoko grumbled her way through cleaning up (and locking up) the massive armory that is Warehouse #0069. Kyoko has graciously volunteered to sit shotgun while you and Misaka take the back seat, the arms dealer pillowing her head on your thighs as she stretches out. It's still a ways to your apartment, and with dusk settling in, the rush-hour traffic will probably get you there long after night had already fallen. By then Mami, Iori and Sayaka would already be waiting for you, which suits you just fine.Kyoko is still grumbling about her screaming match with Sayaka, angrily chomping on an unlit cigarette.[]Ask her about her eye.[]Close your eyes and try to get some sleep on your way back to your apartment.
>>19803589[x]Ask her about her eye.
>>19803589[X]Ask her about her eye. Also light her cigarette for her, she isn't doing it right, and get one ourself. Try to phrase it in at least a vaguely polite way.
>>19803589>Misaka has unfortunately been asleep the entire time you carried her in your armsNow I'm wondering what would happen if we transported her in our shield. The mad scientist inside me is curious.
[]Ask her about her eye.Eh, sleep leads to Pinky. We can't have that now.
>>19803589Ask about the eye. She's hardly in the mood and we need sleep, but events are moving faster and faster.
>>19803603We do not perform experiments like that on our Misaka. Especially with a borked shield. If you want we can begin experiments using rats or mice, moving onto larger animals like cats and dogs, then human testing, probably orphans that won't be missed if something goes wrong.
>>19803589Ask her about the eye, we got our arm fixed so can't she get her eye fixed?>insensitivity ho!
>>19803612I'd rather use Kyuubey.
>>19803603Ooh, this. We should probably try with a beetle first or something. Though if we can't control what we pull out, it'd be hilarious to pull out the beetle in a tense moment as opposed to whatever gun the /k/ommandos were salivating over...
>>19803620I'd agree that we should put him in just for the amusement purposes, but we should take his data point with a grain of salt.
Kyouko shouls go back to fellating Pocky. Cigarette filters are not nearly as tasty.Anyhow, it's probably common knowledge that our memory is swiss cheese since we've forgotten our name at least twice so we can probably use that as an excuse to ask about her eye. Morbid curiosity more than anything.
>>19803632I never said we would take it back.
>>19803620I will laugh if we do it and all that happens is he has a constant way to annoy us from then on, especially if we can't bring him back out to harm the little bastard
>>19803620>>19803632>shove him in>rattle rattle>shake>KYUUBEYS, KYUUBEYS EVERYWHERE>"Oh yes, I can work with this..."
>>19803612>probably orphans that won't be missed if something goes wrongMuslims, definitely muslims.
>>19803610 >>19803602 >>19803600You stare briefly out the passenger door window, looking at all the people living their lives out. Sometimes you wish you were just like them, in a way. Just a normal girl who should probably be worrying about boys and didn't drink like a fish just to feel relatively normal. The funny thing is, you were probably just like that, once. You don't remember, but there's a good chance. The horrible thing about it is that you've gotten so used to this life that you actually don't think you can adjust back. You turn to look at your companion - or rather, the back of her head that's not obscured by her seat's headrest.Well, any case. There's be en something that's been nagging at you ever since you saw it. You've wanted to ask questions about it, but somehow the chance always seemed to slip past, other options becoming more important. You ask Sakura Kyoko about her eyepatch, in the crudest way possible."So are you just lazy about getting your eye healed, or do you just want to look cool?"Smooth, Matsuda. Real smooth.
IM HERE!!!
>>19803679Damn, we're as smooth as a rusty nailbat getting dragged through a fucking warzone.
Aaaaaand there goes one of the few people who still tolerated our presence.Just hope she laughs it off like usual...
Stay classy, Murderface
>>19803730She is used to us being blunt to the point of bitchiness. Her reaction will be priceless though
>>19803679"Huh?" Kyoko blinks, turning in her seat to glance at you. "What the hell are you-- oh, you mean this?" She taps the lashed tsuba covering her left eye. "Yeah, uh...um. This is just between the both of us, okay, Murderface? I mean, you know, I can trust you to keep a secret, right? Like from Sayaka and the rest?"You nod after a moment. You've never really been close to Kyoko, but she'd always made the effort to be jovial, even friendly towards you. You haven't officially returned your feelings regarding that matter, but it seems to suit the both of you just fine, this unspoken agreement."Well, you remember how I got this, right? Sparring match with Kirika. Live weapons and all that. It was supposed to be a sorta exhibition for the newbies, too. I tried not to get carried away like I always do, but apparently Kirika wanted to send a message." She gesticulates with a sideways hand-chop. "Horizontal slash, eye level. The kinda cut that takes the top off your victim's skull and flings it like a frisbee. Barely managed to dodge it, and cut right through the bridge of my nose and my left eye. Bled an entire MESS on the training mats, enough that some of the newbies started faintin' and screamin'."You remember that, all right. Right after that cut, Kirika turned towards you and pointed her blood-soaked sword - not yet golden, then - at you, in a challenge."But I got it healed up. The rest of the damage. But..." She pulls the tsuba up, revealing...nothing. Not even a scar, just skin where the eye should be, as if it never were. "Somethin' about the wound didn't want the magic regenerating the rest of the damage. So Kyuubey just patched things up the best he could."
>>19803796Kyoko shrugs. "Would've made for a neat scar, though, but I think this is better. The patch makes me look more hardcore, anyway." She turns to grin at you, but you have the feeling that there's more to it than that. You agree that using a tsuba as an eyepatch is pretty awesome, though. Super awesome. You brush a few strands of hair away from Misaka's face. At least one of you seems to be getting rest.[]Ask about something else.[]Sleep the rest of the way.
>>19803805[x]sleepytimes
Wait her eyepatch is a tsuba? That's fucking awesome.>>19803805Ask her about her screaming match with Sayaka.See if the blue haired bitch is going to gut us when we meet up.
That went better than expected.Anyhow, I'd vote for quick power nap. We've got what bodes to be an epic screaming match coming up and we could probably use some rest.Besides, it's about time for some more nightmares and hallucinations. Pinky is probably feeling lonely or something.
>>19803805Ask her why she chose a Tsuba, that is coolAlso ask why Sayaka was so angry
>>19803805So, how is the sex with Sayaka?
>>19803805[X]Ask about something else.Don't worry, your secret is safe with me and the tsuba is hardcore. Also spears are better than katanas. I prefer guns but I would take a spear over a katana any day, much more versatile. How's everything going with you and Sayaka? I heard a lot of yelling.
>>19803796Agree to keep the eyepatch a secret but ask why it needs to be a secret. I think we can all agree it looks cool. Also ask about the shouting match with Sayaka and if we need to be careful with her.
>>19803796"Everything alright between you and Sayaka?"
>>19803842Yes, this. But phrase it something like: "I've told you all about my bedwarmer, how is yours doing?"
>>19803796how mad is Sayaka?pet Misaka more. more!
>>19803895Mere petting isn't enough, we might have to move up to scritching her.
>>19803903Scritching?
>>19803911fuck it, full on cuddle time with Misaka pancakes can get stuffed, I want the tech priest
This Misaka is Last Order right? The personality doesn't fit the sisters.
>>19803911Presumably the scratching one does to a pet. Pretty much massaging the skin a bit harder than just petting. But yes, ask about her bedwarmer.
>>19803911To scritch, mainly used in the context of petting a cat, it's a nice gentle scratch on the neck or behind the ears, given that she isn't a cat it'll just be her head.
>>19803903Nah petting her is ok for nowShe is like the crazy tech savant little sister we never had
I vote wake misaka, and ask if she remembers about the shield and black eyes before we get home.
>>19803925That's what I have been asking so far.It seems right
>>19803851 >>19803841 >>19803830"Y-yeah, you think so too?" Kyoko's smile turns into a grin, her cheeks flushing pink as she turns to face you again. "Ah, why the tsuba? It's...well, my grandfather on my mother's side had a really old sword, and he gave it to mom, but she never really got to take care of it. I found the sword disassembled in our family attic. Can't really do anything about the blade, so I just took this one with me instead." Kyoko leans back on her seat, just as the first few drops of rain start to fall against the windshield - and the both of you roll up the windows as the driver switches on the air conditioning. "After everything else that happened, I kept this tsuba with me as a good luck charm. Was planning to melt it down and make a ring or something out of it, but after Kirika cut my eye out, I thought I'd be like Yagyu Jubei and use it." She looks back at you to grin again. "Cool, huh?"Yeah. Real cool. You ask her another question. About Sayaka, this time. You heard the both of them screaming over the phone, earlier. Should you be worried?"Huh? Oh, nah. That's how we usually talk. Although, well, in public, anyway. In private we do that thing where we call each other baby-talk names'n such. It'll make you sick, frankly." Kyoko laughs. "But uh, she does kinda get a bit snippy whenever she's on an assignment. Well, you can understand her, I mean, who likes getting a phone call while you're in the middle of a purge?"
>>19803805Nap time.
Ask to inspect the golden halberd/gun thing Misaka gave her when you have the chance...probably wouldn't work now in a car, but we can look at it when we're back home. If Pinky was able to possess Misaka, how can we know for sure the weapon she gave Kyoko isn't one that will make her go mad.
>>19804040You probably wouldn't appreciate it, either, you agree. You follow up this line of questioning by asking Kyoko about what they do between the sheets.Kyoko is silent for a moment before going completely red."T-that's..." The Eversor mumbles. "--not something I'm entirely comfortable talking about, Murderface. Not comfortable at all. L-let's talk about something else, okay?"You smile slightly as you gently scritch Misaka's scalp, before smoothening out her hair as she continues to sleep on your lap.You let this questioning go. You tried, anyway."Well, what about you, then, Murderface? Why you gotta drink so much?" Kyoko suddenly asks. "I mean, sure, getting buzzed after a few assignment's not that bad, I do it myself, but...it's like you're tryin' to kill your liver before you're even legal enough to do so. And painkillers? You snack on 'em like candy!"How do you respond?
>>19804094"It's easier to drink than it is to try and remember."
>>19804094"I don't remember. Considering our line of work, might be a good idea to keep it that way, hmm?"
>>19804094It's nice that Kyouko is so chill but everything has been going too damn well if you ask me.Chances that things go to hell in a handbasket in the next few posts? At any rate: "I don't remember anything from before Mami found me in that witches barrier and I want to keep things that way."
>>19804094It's how I cope, I need to make sure that I don't remember. I don't even know exactly what I keep down there, but I know I need to make sure it stays buried. I'm aware I'm a self-destructive wreck, but it's better than the alternative.
>>19804094"I don't remember and if I keep it up, with a bit of luck, I never will."
"You have Sayaka, I have these." as we pop a couple of pain killers. "Or, I suppose it could be that I just hate myself and want to die. Which do you prefer?"
>>19804094It's the only way I found to try and dull the pain of a thousand death. And it's not even working much.
>>19804094>>19804147 "I don't remember anything from before Mami found me in that witches barrier and I want to keep things that way."more petting.or cuddles
>>19804094"It takes the edge off. Makes life just a little bit more bearable. I don't remember much, but I do remember that there are some kinds I want to stay forgotten."
>>19804094It's better than a .50 caliber aspirin.
>>19804094"Because despite the amnesia and stuff I`m not good at forgetting things. It won`t make me forget the stuff I want to forget but at least it numbs be enough to not give a fuck anymore."
>>19804094You would not believe how sobering the things that keep happening to me really are.
>>19804094Don't think for a second I don't know how fucked up I am and how everyone sees me.I hate myself so hard it's the only way to keep on living with being me.
>>19804094I drink because I don't remember.I drink because I don't want to remember. My life before Mami found me is nothing. I have no clue who I was or where I was at in my life. I haven't been able to keep going so I drink so I stop thinking about it
>>19804156 >>19804142 >>19804113"...Now who's trying to be cool?" Kyoko murmurs after a moment, turning to glance at you - but she's not grinning as she says this, only a small half-smile. Shaking her head, she turns back to recline on her seat. "Well, Mami-san should have something to say about that, but I don't. You're a big girl, you know what you want to do, and I'm not going to stop you." It's then that you hear her sigh."Murderface, just...hey, if it comes to the point that you'll retire me...don't tell Sayaka, alright? Tell her I got downed in an assignment or something. Don't give her another reason to be angry."She's looking at you now, from the reflection on the rear view mirror. Her one crimson eye staring into yours. It seems that she's asking for reassurance. How do you respond?
>>19804305If you'll do the same when telling Mami and/or Iori
>>19804305Where did this come from?
>>19804305"Pretty sure Sayaka will go before you do. But yeah."

>>19804305Just stay away from Pinky and any Golden weapons and you'll probably live far longer than I will.
>>19804327I forgot to add more petting
>>19804305"Nah, I'm pretty sure I'll end up on somebody's list first."Hug her from behind.
Tell her it's not going to come to that, but ask to see her weapon again. Even if she got it from Misaka, we can't be sure Misaka didn't get it from Pinky, what with the whole possession episode we just recently witnessed.
>>19804317second this
>>19804305I hope it doesn't come to that point. I will do what I can to stop that from happening. If it does it will be quick, clean, professional and everyone will hear that you died a hero's death. I would request the same thing from you. Tell Mami and Iori that I died saving a busload of orphans from the toughest witch you've ever seen.
All right, I'll admit it, I'm lost on a couple things here. Why does Kyouko have an eyepatch? In earlier threads, some Anons seemed to know about Kirika when she was just a name. Where's she from?Same for Orika or whatever her name was.
>>19804338She GAVE Misaka the spear to fix up in the first place, Kyoko told us as much and she is too stupid to lieSeriously people paranoia levels are far too high right now
>>19804354I'm not saying Kyoko is lying, you dolt. We just saw Misaka get possessed by Pinky, so who's to say that she didn't give Kyoko a cursed weapon?

>>19804305"Same goes for you. If I have to be retired I want it to be you and Misaka who do this. Keep Mami out of things and stuff. And you and Misaka are probably the only ones who would be able to handle all that stuff without breaking apart."
>>19804350.......IT WAS JUST EXPLAINED
Flippant humor."Are you kidding me? If I get to kill The Great Sakura Kyouko then I'm telling EVERYBODY!" Snorting chuckle followed by reassurance that it won't ever get to that point, but if it does, you'll agree to her request."What makes you say that anyway?"
>>19804350Mahou Shoujo Oriko Magica, along with Kazumi Magika are spin-off mangas from Madoka. Kirika and Oriko are both from Oriko Magica. The spinoff mangas decide to take the Madokaverse and see if they can make it even more depressing for the Magical Girls.

She just has skin where her eye is now.>Where's she from? Both Kirika and Oriko are from one of the Madoka spinoffs, forgot which one. The group that Midori works for is also in one of the spinoffs.

I mean, she's got a real hair trigger temper, an' she'll probably get into heaps of trouble if I'm not around anymore..."You reach over and pat her shoulder, before giving it a squeeze. You try to reassure her, as best as you could given the circumstances, that you'd do as she asked. Hell, you'd even fabricate the evidence if it came to that."Thanks, Chiaki." Kyoko seems to relax under your grip, a sigh escaping her lips. "That...that means a lot. And yeah, I'll do the same for you, if it ever comes to that. Which I'm hoping it won't, but life is a bitch, ain't it?"It is, indeed.Outside, the rain continues to pour. Beating against the cab's roof, a quick stacatto beat that slowly lulls you into sleep."Yeah, better get some shuteye while you can, Murderface. We're still some time from your pad, anyhow." Kyoko's jovial tone is back. "I'll wake you up when you're there."Well, at least she called you by your first name, right?

>>19804611Sounds like a plan.
Oh boy, time for nightmares and hallucinations!
>>19804554You fall asleep, and wake up for what seems to be moments later to Kyoko shaking your shoulder gently from outside. The cab seems to have already stopped right in front of your apartment building. You mumble something about paying, and Kyoko stops you, saying she already took care of it. You nod dumbly, sleep still muddling you up, and you clumsily wipe drool from the corner of your lips before reaching down with both hands and lifting the still-snoozing Misaka into your arms. The cab is sent off as the three of you make your way to your apartment, which is at the fifth floor of this particular building. The elevator ride is uneventful enough, and the door to your apartment opens quickly as Kyoko gives it a few short raps with her knuckle, the multiple locks behind it being undone rather clumsily but speedily enough.Mami is the first to greet you as the door swings open. She's still in the office lady clothes you've seen her in this morning at the Officio, complete with black armband - but she's in a decidedly better mood. "Ah, Kyoko-chan, Chiaki-san. Come in, you're just in time. Iori-san and I have just finished making dinner." She blinks at the sleeping girl in your arms. "...What happened to Misaka-chan? She looks a bit tired, and--" It's then that she steps closer and gives all three of you a sniff. "Have you three been drinking...?"
>>19804697We wanted to give Kirika a proper send off. The way she died wasn't befitting one of us

>>19804697"Yeah, but only a little."Better to not mention Kirika and spoil Mami's good mood.
>>19804697We were earlier, it fit the occasion. We're sober by now. Misaka decided to take a nap a while back and I didn't have the heart to wake her up.Also Mami has one hell of a sharp nose to smell vodka on us. That

>>19804697Answer with a completly straight face: "No, we haven`t."
>>19804711This. Considering what we're about to brief the team on, we can't avoid talking about Kirika. We should also play up that she was a victim of the Murawhatsits fucking with her head, sending over the edge she was dancing along. She may have been a psycho bitch, but she was still a comrade in arms.
>>19804697Of course not, we're underage!Silly Mami-chan.
>>19804697Both you and Kyoko glance at each other, speechless - before Kyoko pipes up, seemingly thinking quickly for the both of you. "J-just a bit! I brought some vodka coolers for Murderface and Misaka here. Western brand, tastes a bit fruity but almost no alcohol at all! Really!" She gives her widest smile, which for Kyoko doesn't look really comforting at all - but Mami seems to buy it, nodding after a moment and smiling. "Well, I'm glad it's not another one of someone's binge drinking, but vodka coolers are still unhealthy." She glances pointedly at you, and you can't help but look down and feel just a bit ashamed. "You three had better get in. Chiaki-san, I'll take Misaka. Better for her to sleep it off in a futon."You nod as you hand off Misaka to Mami, your hands touching briefly. Mami takes no notice of this as she hauls the arms dealer into her arms, before turning around and walking back into your apartment. You exchange glances with Kyoko again, and bump fists quietly, before stepping inside and taking off your shoes, closing the door behind you."Sayaka in yet?" The red-haired Eversor asks loudly.
>>19804823Mess is an understatement, you think as you glance at the wastebin near the shoe rack - it's half-full of wadded-up tissues red with blood. Probably Sayaka wiping the worst of the blood off her boots before stepping into the apartment proper. At least Iori didn't seem to be scared of seeing a bloody magical girl ringing up in front for a visit. In fact, the idol seems to be in good spirits, fussing over what looks like two rather bulky-looking packages, wrapped in expensive paper, sitting right on your favorite chair. She smiles at you as you approach."Ah, welcome back, Chiaki-san." Iori positively beams at you in greeting, and you mumble something in reciprocation. You're not used to being greeted in that manner - you usually come home to an early apartment."I helped Mami-san make dinner today!"That's...that's great. You're not sure how to respond to that, except ask her if she made you pancakes.[]Ask about the packages.[]Get this discussion started as soon as Sayaka comes back from the shower.

>>19804848>[]Get this discussion started as soon as Sayaka comes back from the shower.Best get the worst of it out of the way now. Plus, we might want to open those presents in private as they're probably embarrassing.
[X]Ask about the packages.
How about both? It'll be some time before Sayaka is done, so we might as well unintentionally lead the idol on a bit.
>>19804848Just ask her how shopping with Mami was.
>>19804848[X]Get this discussion started as soon as Sayaka comes back from the shower.Tell her we won't try and ruin the surprise by asking what's in the package.Ask what's for dinner.
Did... did we just 'Sis Fist' Kyoko? Damn. Maybe we should get her drunk more often. Seems to smooth things out a lot between us. Granted, it's a little annoying, but the side benefits have proven well worth it.
>>19804848Thanks you. I can't wait to taste Iori .... 's cooking.What's with the boxes?
I seriously think there's something missing, since it goes from Kyoko asking if Sayaka's here, to something about the mess she left on her way in.
>>19804848start the meetwe have a tech priest, forget about the loli
>>19804848[x]Get this discussion started as soon as Sayaka comes back from the shower. We'll ask about the packages afterwards and let ourselves be embarrassed. We're self-destructive enough that a little bit of embarrassment and humiliation is a small price to pay for erstwhile allies to feel better about us.Though we should have enough time before Sayaka gets out of the shower to ask what's for dinner.
>>19804888Well we mostly get along with Kyoko anyway, just she gets annoying fast when we are the only one drinkingOr when we want to be left aloneSo roughly 90% of the time The other 10% she is awesome to have aroundIt is Sayaka that we really dislike but that's because she seems to hate usAnd of course we just fucking hate kyuubey and make that apparent whenever possible and not detrimental to the situation
>>19804909Kyoko is just oblivious to her surroundings.Losing an eye didn't help her in that regard apparently
>>19804978No no, "mess" can't be an understatement if it was never stated in the first place. There is a missing line in which it was said Sayaka was a bit of a mess when she arrived and was cleaning herself in the shower
>>19805036Not from what I can see.The second post is us looking at the shoe rack and bin and seeing bloody tissues. Then we guess that she is cleaning the rest of the blood off herself since Sayaka unlike us keeps clean more regularlyBecuase Mami is taking care of Misaka, Iori is waiting for us and Kyoko is probably off to the shower for some fun with her bed warmer
>>19805063At least that's how I understood it
>>19805036There's a small jump, but it doesn't feel like a missing post, just glossing over us sitting down.It works, she says that mess is an understatement when referring to the giant pile of bloody stuff in the wastebin. It is perhaps not the optimum phrasing but it works. While it was not explicitly stated that Sayaka in the main text it is made clear by the decision boxes.
>>19804861 >>19804877 >>19804882>>19804914 >>19804919You glance at the packages again, severely tempted to ask Iori what's inside the ominous packaging - but you focus on her smiling at you instead, working up a small one of your own. You thank her for going to the effort of making you dinner, even if she didn't have to for the second time."Oh, it's alright, Chiaki-san!" She smiles, seemingly quite proud of herself. "I rarely do get a chance to cook for other people, so it was quite the experience!"You're...you're sure it's going to be delicious, you manage to decipher from Kyoko's silent hand signals, the Eversor standing a few ways behind Iori, hidden from the idol's view. She probably saw you floundering, and decided to help out.You owe her one, you think as she gives you a triumphant thumbs up."A-ah, I'm...I hope you do like it, Chiaki-san. I made the dinner for you, after all." She says, cheeks faintly pink. You open your mouth to reply when you hear a door slamming shut from somewhere within your apartment - and out comes Sayaka in nothing but a towel and a frown, scrubbing at her blue hair. "Ergh, it took a while to get all the blood out..." She blinks at you, her frown easing slightly. "Hey, Murderface. I used your bath, Mami said it was okay. Cleaned up afterwards though, so you don't complain."You shrug at this. That is the extent of your communication with Miki Sayaka, who then turns towards Kyoko. You see it right away - she's still frowning, but she's glad to see the Eversor. "Well, we're all here, any case." Sayaka says after a moment. "What was so important you had to call me up in the middle of a purge, Murderface?"Everyone's eyes are on you.How do you explain the situation?
Time to explain about Pinky and the golden weapons without sounding totally batshit or drunk....We're screwed, huh?
>>198051651. Explain the whole black eyes thing2. Make sure Sayaka doesn't touch any of the golden weapons.3. Explain that Misaka has been hit with a case of the black eyes.
>>19805165>How do you explain the situation? In detail, but only after we have eaten.
>>19805207Bring up the thing you talked about in the meeting with the Boss.
>>19805165Start at the start.Explain how we got our gun like we did with Kyuubey and how when we went to see Kirika what happened and her whole explanation about Pinky mention we see her in time stop and the bullshit Kirika spouted about the weapons etc and how we are pretty sure they make their wielders more violent and crazyMention our incident with Sayaka and how we took both weapons to kyuubey afterwards for him to look after and research but we think they might be bound to usExplain we want them all to know this so they can avoid the same thing happening to them since we care about them in some capacity
>>19805165Golden weapons make you go crazy. Don't use golden weapons. This is your brain, this is Kirika's brain on golden swords. Don't do golden swords. If a pink-haired stranger offers you golden weapons, just say NO.
>>19805165everything we told QBwhile we eat dinner. Get a bottle of whiskey to drink while we explain
>>19805209>>19805214>>19805165Let's also ask them if they have heard of Akemi Homura
>>19805165Mami is here with us right? If not get her in on this before we start. If you ever see a pink haired girl with completely black eyes do not accept any of her gifts. She makes Kyuubey look like someone who cares. She is a massive fucking witch hivemind thing, she is handing out golden weapons for some purpose, these weapons as shown by Kirika, drive the wielder crazy, change their eyes to black, and make them talk about the "flesh of fallen angels". You are probably thinking that I'm drunk or have finally gone off the deep end, feel free to check with Kyubey or independently verify anything you can.
>>19805165We have to go back to the incidents that each girl has been a part of when Pinky has exerted her influence. Our first meeting with her at the bar with Kyoko, the assignment with Iori and getting the golden deagle, hearing about the golden sword Kirika had and asking her about it at the yakuza bar. Things devolve from there with the flesh of fallen angels, and even Mami bore witness to what Kirika had become. Our eyes starting to go black when we threatened Sayaka, and the voice telling us to kill both Kirika and Mami, which is why we tossed the deagle aside before the fight. Then we tell them what QB has said about a grief seed the size of a planet, and how he thinks they may be connected. Then, our incident with Misaka while drinking...coolers...yeah, coolers.
>>19805165Let's tell them everything we told Kyuubs, adding what he told us about Faust and that.Don't drink while we're doing it.
>>19805239oh this is good. Throw this in after the explainjng is done!
>>19805165Mami's here, right?"So the golden gun I had and the golden katana that Kirika had, were given to us by some pink-haired girl with all black eyes."QB pretty much believes she's some kind of super-witch called Faust that he and the other Incubators are tracking. All I know is, she's bad news."She gives out these golden weapons, and they change a person. Use or hold one long enough, and it starts to twist you, make you crazy. We all saw it with Kirika. Hell, even happened to me a bit. Handed both of them to QB as soon as I figured out what was happening. "Pinky's trying to get the holders of these weapons to fight and kill each other; don't know why, and don't particularly care, but I don't want anything to do with it. "I know it sounds crazy, but ask QB if you doubt me."Kirika and I, we pretty much hated each other. But retiring her is one experience I don't want to feel again."
Make sure that Misaka is awake during this meeting as she was directly affected by it earlier.
Note that there are probably 20 golden weapons that are possibly tied to the Tarot cards.
>>19805165"You're probably known about the Kirika case and why she had to be retir- killed. Well, the truth is, it wasn't entirely her fault. We know that she had been using a fancy golden katana some time ago before my assignment."It's linked to her insanity. Lately, I've had episodes, felt like killing people, an unnecessary urge to kill. Sayaka, you would remember me pulling a golden gun on her."I didn't buy that gun, it was given to me. Some girl with pink hair and black eyes. Kyuubey calls her Faust. Sayaka, you saw me that time. My eyes were black. I have reason this girl, Faust or Pinky, is handing out these weapons and they make people go insane. QB can back me up on this."They also have roman numerals marked on them. My gun was marked VIII, Kirika's katana was marked XX. That means there's 18 more. So, if you see Pinky, don't talk to her. Don't use strange golden weapons she seems to hand out."Also mention Misaka's message, if they know about Homura Akemi and exactly how Mami found us.
Wait a minute. There's this one thing that's been bugging me. Is Misaka a magical girl too or is she just a very eccentric normal?
>>19805325She doesn't seem to be a magical girl but she does see to have either ESP/Telepathy or can hear the machine spirits
>>19805325She's a psychic not a magical girl.
>>19805325A very eccentric "normal" so far as we know
>>19805165"Well, I need a good strong drink first."..."Alright, lets begin at the beginning. This is gonna sound crazy, but hear me out for a minute. There's this pink-haired girl invading people's minds, at first she just talks to you, but there will be a point where she offers you help, in the form of a golden weapon suiting your personal preference. Mine was a Desert Eagle, Kure's was a katana. Problem is, using these weapons... well, it drives you slowly insane. Your eyes, they turn black and you will be at risk of being consumed by rage. Sayaka, you'll remember that. I'm sorry about that time. The reason I had to retire Kure was because she succumbed to it. I gave both weapons to QB for research and safekeeping. As such, my warning is two-fold. Don't ever talk to an imaginary pink-haired girl, and don't ever accept or use any golden weapons, from her, or anyone else just in case. I should also mention that the weapons are marked with roman numerals, but what they mean i have yet to find out. y gun was marked VIII, Kirika's katana was marked XX. That means there's at least 18 more. Ask QB about this if you still think this is crazy, he'll confirm it."Do we tell about misaka's prophecy?
Don't forget that the golden weapons seem to have a tendency to keep showing up even after they've been discarded. Might not be important, but it doesn't hurt to mention every single detail about the damn things.
>>19805363Kyoko heard it, so it's going to be known soon enough regardless of if we keep quiet.
>>19805402That was never proven we just think that's how they work,For example we never threw it away and had it come back it just came to hand when we went for a gun
>>19805405She was also drunk as hell and waved it off as Misaka being odd
>>19805413No harm in mentioning it though, especially if we suddenly find ourselves wielding one during the meeting.
>>19805427True, but it served as the catalyst for us telling Kyoko about Pinky and the weapons, as well as this meeting.
>>19805319 >>19805304 >>19805258 As soon as you finish your explanation - one you felt was one of the better times you explained something, despite just how utterly unbelievable it is even to you, and you're the one saying it - silence falls over the entire apartment like a thick blanket, broken only by Misaka's even breathing, the arms dealer curled up in the middle of your double futon beside your favorite chair. You expected Sayaka to laugh, and Mami to quietly shake her head in dismay at your trying to worm your way out of trouble with lies and deceit. Hell, if someone spun the same yarn on you you'd throw them out for wasting your time. That hasn't happened yet, so maybe that's a good sign. It's Mami who speaks first. She seems to be calm, but her shivering hands belie her true state at the moment."So...Chiaki-san, you're saying that a Witch is behind this? A powerful one preying upon Magical Girls by turning them insane with these golden weapons?"You nod at this, not really sure on what to say to try and press the veracity of her words."And...Kirika-san was the first victim? That was why you had to retire her, Chiaki-san?""I'd believe it." Sayaka says after a moment, her arms crossed underneath her chest. "So that's why your eyes turned black then. Had to admit, I was convinced you'd bow my brains out the back of my head when I saw that golden peashooter of yours." She shakes her head. "Christ, Murderface. You scared me then."Kyoko blinks at this. "H-hey, what did you do? Murderface, did you point a gun at Sayaka...?"You nod. You explain that it wasn't really your fault, but the gun's. You stopped yourself just in time, though, and that counts. Doesn't it?
>>19805514Incoming crazy red haired eversor momentPossibly with her normally bitchy girlfriend backing us up for once
>>19805514Admit we're not exactly proud of it... it really scared us as well. And we're really, really sorry.
>>19805514"Why do you think we got rid of the damn thing?"
Sorry, not really proud of it. But she did nearly shank my kidneys so I think we're even now.
>>19805514We're actually really sorry about that. Secretly inside, it's more that we were manipulated into pointing the gun at Sayaka that makes us regret it, since it shut her up real good. But no one else needs to know that. And I think we should tell them to not try to go off on their own on this, and let QB and the other Incubators handle Faust/Pinky.This seems to be one of the few things that the Incubators, with their rival magical girl agencies, can agree on since it fucks up all of their own plans.
>>19805560This. Oh god, don't let us undo two threads worth of bonding.
>>19805514>And...Kirika-san was the first victim?Well, the first one at our agency.QB's probably looking to see if other magical girls contracted to other Incubators have been suborned as well.
>>19805514"Y-yeah, but--" Kyoko is clearly torn at the discovery of this tidbit. Torn between her friendship with you, and you basically being inches away from venting her girlfriend's brains with a trigger pull. "Murderface, why didn't you--""It's not her fault, Kyoko-chan." Mami cuts in. "I had my suspicions about the sword when Kirika-san started favoring it, but..." She shakes her head, mournfully. "I should've known there was something strange about that thing. And now it's too late..."You don't know what to say about that, and the entire apartment falls silent once more. Sayaka speaks up again after a while, however."So, wait. Just now, Misaka said something in a trance about these golden weapons? Like you have to collect them all, or something? What for?"". . ." You don't know how to say THAT particular kind of information without appearing to be a complete and total risk to everyone, so you just shrug, saying that it was just that you had to gather them. Kyoko blinks at you, but says nothing."Well, I don't care what Witch it is, but if she's got designs on me or anything, she's got another thing coming." Sayaka scoffs. "I just have to make sure that I don't get into any faustian deals by accepting any golden crap, right? I mean, besides Kyuubey, of course. Same goes for Mami and Kyoko too, right?"You nod. That's basically it."Alright. That seems easy enough." Sayaka smirks. "Could've just told us through text or something, Murderface. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you actually give a shit about somebody else other than yourself."How do you respond?
>>19805514explain that we were primarily worried about Mami at that point and not really thinking straight, but that it was also for Mami's sake that we backed down and came to our senses.

>>19805641We should really wake Misaka for all of this, or at least give her THE SPEECH sometime later.
>>19805641>I'd say you actually give a shit about somebody else other than yourself."The vicodine and oxycodone aren't working as good, and cheap alcohol just gives me a headache."Say it completely deadpan."But no. I don't want anyone else to go out the way Kirika did. I hated her, and she hated me, but she still deserved better than that."
>>19805641"I just don't want to deal with retiring anyone else. It's too risky."
>>19805641"Hey, you all are the closest thing I've got to friends...well except you, Sayaka."Then ask Mami how exactly she found us, and if any of them know about Akemi Homura.
>>19805641Mami bakes me pancakes. Kyouko is sort of a friend. Misaka makes my favorite toys and you... uh... you looked after Misaka in the last mission, I guess. Since Mami dragged me out of that witch's barrier, I've been amnesiac and having terrible nightmares. The booze and the pills kept them at bay, but now they're chasing me into the real world and they've already lead to Kirika's retirement. now excuse me, you self righteous bitch, if I show an ounce of concern for others cause this is all, quite frankly, somewhat freaky.

If Kyuubey asks me to punch your ticket, you won't even know what hit you until your severed head finally rolls to a stop in front of me.It's now Kyoko's turn to frown. "Hey, Sayaka, that's a bit too much--"Sayaka holds up a hand. "It's the same courtesy I'd extend to you, Kyoko, and the same one I'd want extended to me, too. Unlike Murderface here who had to get other people involved, but since that's over I won't mention it again." There's a flash of brilliant blue light as she transforms, her cape falling about her shoulders as her Magical Girl costume manifests on her body. She tosses Kyoko her towel. "Meet you back at the apartment. I need to be debriefed and get the payment from Kyuubey.""A-ah...alright." Kyoko nods. "Take it easy, alright?" She calls uncertainly after Sayaka, who leaves without a word, cape billowing out behind her. You're tempted to step on the hem to try and trip her, but that'd ruin her exit. The front door slamming close marks her departure from your apartment, leaving you, Mami, Kyoko and Iori to listen to Misaka's snoring in the most awkward silence in your life. >>19805828[x]Ask about the packages!Need a distraction fast.
Tell Kyoko that's just Sayaka's coping mechanism at work. Good front and all that, right. Also, Packages. And speaking of, Vodka victory party pic? I know our Chiaki doesn't have the long hair, but it's the best I could do with photoshop.
>>19805828FOODEating is a good way to take our mind off of stuff.
>>19805828Dinner
>>19805937Pretty decent, chum.
>>19805937good point. we are the expert on coping mechanisms after all.
>>19805828Packages, packages, packages!
do you keep track how many times we have shot with the golden gun? because if you are i will proceed to be very paranoid about that.
invite Kyoko to dinner, eat, then check on Misaka!
>>19805984I think we've only fired it once, when it appeared in our hand to kill Iori's would-be rapist.
Just shrug. The people whose opinions matter to us would understand, no need to justify ourself to Sayaka
>>19806030 USED it once, FIRED it 6 or 7 times. Two on Midori, and one bullet for each otaku killed.
>>19806056I thought we used the uzis for the otakus.
>>19805872 >>19805862 >>19805850You're not the touchy-feely sort, and you never will be, but you know an emergency when you see one. No thanks to Sakaya, in any case. Clasping a hand on Kyoko's shoulder and giving a squeeze, it's then that you turn to Iori (who'd been quiet all this time) about the packages sitting in your favorite chair."Oh, these!" Iori brightens up palpably, as if glad to be able to talk about something she actually knows. "W-well, erm...I don't know if Kyuubey-san had already told you, Chiaki-san, but I hired you for another assignment. It's...it's really nothing dangerous, since it's going to be a strictly a black tie event and there's a lot of security, but Kyuubey said if I have to go, I should go with a proper escort. He said he didn't know anyone better than you to handle it, so..." She smiles and unwraps both packages - revealing what looks to be a black butler's uniform AND a maid uniform, the formal sort with the long skirt. "Kyuubey-san said that you didn't have any dresses and that you'd need a proper disguise to be able to escort me in person, so I had these made." You could hear Kyoko's muffled laughter beside you as you look down at the costumes. "T-they're to your exact size, so they'll definitely fit - I didn't know what you'd pick so I decided to have both made, just in case." Iori smiles uncertainly. "Chiaki-san? Um, why is your eyebrow twitching like that...?"
>>19806056No, we killed most of the rapist-otakus with MAC-10's.We killed the guy that was about to rape Iori with the DEagle, though. So I think it's 3 shots fired.
>>19806056We've only fired it twice. One bullet for each of Midori's legs.We used the uzis to kill the otaku.
>>19806030Two shots. Blowing up Midori's kneecaps.
>>19806056i thought the otaku got the something like the Mac 10 treatment, we did however take Midori's legs with 2 shots from the golden DEagle.
>>19806072"Nerves, probably." Kyoko sniggers. You're glad the red-haired Eversor's recovered, but now you dearly want to punch her in the face. "Hey, Murderface, get the maid costume. You'd look good in that. Crossplay's not exactly your style, anyway."Iori frowns at this. "I was hoping she'd pick the butler, but...Chiaki-san in a maid costume...?" You could almost hear the gears in her brain click together, concocting visuals you have no plan of making into reality. "Hey, that isn't too bad..."Mami nods. "Maid costume, definitely. I think Chiaki-san would look lovely in it."Well, which one do you pick?[]Maid Costume. []Butler Costume.[]THE FLESH OF FALLEN ANGELS

>>19806099Try both on first. Entertain our "guests".Go with the Maid Costume in the end.
>>19805937Nice pic
Go with the maid outfit. More space to hide weaponsWe should put the butler costume on and see how it looks though
>>19806099either of these rolls will end in horror but the butler uniform might prevent most of the possible and inappropriate touching.
>>19806099[x] WhiskeyThen, try them both on, see how they look. ...we have a mirror in our apartment, right?
>>19806099[x]maid costume
>>19806144I support this idea
THE FLESH OF FALLEN ANGELS!!I mean, maid costume. Just because it would be the most insconpicuous one. Personally, I'd prefer butler but crossplay would stand out.
>>19806099>[]THE FLESH OF FALLEN ANGELSNo, but seriously, let's butle the shit outta this thing.
>>19806140And does anyone actually give a shit?I am hearing a biiiiiiiiiig nothis is decultures thread he can go wherever he wants

Alright, I think this is a good place to pause!I'll reveal which costume Chiaki chooses in the next thread.Thank you for participating, everyone! I apologize once more for the lack of action in these past threads. It will be resolved soon enough.
>>19806099Butlers? Bah!We're maid of sterner stuff!

>>19806267>>19806240You know what both of them remind me of that quest

>>19806308Mahou shonen questActually better than average but a few people hate it because it is run daily is slice of life anime shenanigans, harem and the participants have funApparently those things are just pure anathema to fa/tg/uys everywhere The worst part is the actual participants don't push shit outside their threads. People complaining about it do
archived, hope you all like the description.
>>19806347>A slightly drunk but very sober magical girlI would have preferred "A formerly drunk and now very sober magical girl".
>>19806304I usually attempt to photoshop things that are awesome. QAnd Vodka Victory Party was awesome and D'aww worthy. I just regret I couldn't do a 'Petting Misaka's head' image. Misaka Imouto voted for best lil' sister ever.
>>19806342it's nice to see someone be so reasonable about it.
>>19806359I think it fits.We are still drunk but the events sobered us up artificiallyI think we need to test our soul gem drinking method in more types of alcohol as well

>>19806266Would anybody else happen to have this image? Been trying to upload it for the better part of an hour, cause I wanted to share it with you guys but my phone staunchly refuses to do so.Seems like it came out of a VN, girl in a maid costume dropping pipe-bombs from her skirt with the dialogue "Well then, gokigenyou, motherfuckers!"
>>19806263I just wanted to say that these quest threads have been the best I've seen in quite a while and I really enjoy and look forward to them, Deculture. You should be getting paid for this. Seriously.

>>19807046It certainly looks like it.
>>19807046That would it, yes. Though the version I have doesn't have the motivator text at the bottom. At any rate, thanks for posting it.Hoping she does end up in the maid costume just to pull off something like that.
>>19807046That does look like something chiaki would do.
