The year is 1646 Federal. August.

In the airfields of Gelena you inhale the morning dew of the grass. Shitstains and veterans alike join each other side to side, both parties question where they have just been reassigned. Is there a war ?

Did the Voss finally invade the shores while we weren't looking ?

Did Aeon decide that we were filthmongers for copying our tech ?

What about those fictional sand people... the radio doesnt talk about them at all. But it seems they're real enough to warrant a Vosskon war.

Honestly, you probably enlisted to pay off for your schooling. Or like everyone else liked the smell of men , grass and sweat.

You pray for a different nightmare.
Maybe Gym class.

No definitely death.

This situation seems a bit surreal.

But here you are, the loud screaming assholes of these highspeed planes, roaring terrifying reality in your ears from 100 yards away. You try to make out what your officer is about to say. You think he's your officer. He's being awfully loud. Or is it the woman next to him, taking notes...

"All I'm saying is, I think you're making a big deal about nothing."

'Clovis takes smuggling very seriously Miss Konnair.'

"It was a /coffee maker/"

The fiery red head glares across the table at the official looking man, his uniform bearing the mark of the Clovis military.

'Yes, one not meant for sale or distribution /outside/ Clovis borders.'

"C'moooon" Isabelle Konnair mews, clasping her hands together in front of her in mock-begging, the handcuff chain rattling, "I bought that here fair and square-"

'Actually you didn't, you shoplifted it, along with some other items, -and these are all things you tried to smuggle out as well-. Examples include expensive lingerie you attempted to smuggle by wearing-'

"I still claim that was sexual harassment..."

'-a live animal, a rare breed of ferret I believe-

"I found that in the wild..."

'-among numerous other items that I won't bother listing. Add on to this resisting arrest and a few other miscellaneous charges, and we got enough to lock you up for a very long time.'

"..."

'I see you have nothing smart to say about that. Now, from what we've managed to dig up on you, you're apparently the 'adopted blood-related sister, maybe' of one Major 'Iceheart' Konnair, of the Vosskon Royal Guard. Though it looks like they'll have a new CO soon maybe, shame about what happened at Kolstec right?'

The man glances up from her file, trying to judge her reaction, but she just sits there, a neutral expression on her face.

You're all wondering what you're doing on an airfield in the middle of the goddamn year so I won't mince words. All of you standing here today have either been handpicked or you somehow got word of this little outfit.

Let me tell you, all those rumors are true. What rumors you ask ? Well shit, son. why dont you tell me? The Voss are out fucking about in the desert plundering some mystic sandgold, the Aeon are out having a ball with some demonic civil war so I'm pretty damn sure that if we were one ocean, and half a fuck away, this is gonna be something like your problem. Aud spun in her chair idly, tossing a ball up and down while she waited for the mission briefing.
"Hey, Vis." Silence. "Vis!" Nothing. She sighed and rolled over to where he was sitting, eyes unblinking scanning images that she didn't recognize.

"Whatcha lookin' at?" He quietly shuffled the papers away and turned to face her, his eyes scanning her like one his maps.

BDA photographs are looking sharp, Good job everyone looks like the Voss have retreated...

Now lets do a bit of crunch
+500c for securing the border for our freedom loving fringe folk
+10c for every Vosskon head that is either exploded or on fire in this image.
+3000c for the safe retrieval of our VIP

And of course, a generous tip from the Colonel, who wishes you the best, 1,000c.

Alright, now let's see what our Mr. Johnson has to say....
>>
Most men Lakkan had known in the past would be terrified when they found themselves at the front of a Vosskon tank platoon.

Clovis expected better of its soldiers.

But he didn't think too much of this, as he and his companion gleefully traipsed through the wilderness in their stolen behemoth, making a roundabout path back to the Clovis staging area.
>>
>>19478473
Vis tapped Aud's shoulder and gestured to a camera feed from on-board their overwatch plane. She leaned over to see a Voss tank booking it through a deserted valley heading towards their air-base, the Clovis Flag crudely emblazed on the tank, and a pair of dark-skinned men in cowboy hats whooping and cheering.
"Found them."
>>
>>19478469
Time to for the pay 40 cloves for every action phase you participated in, botting or missing a phase is ground to pay docking for that round. (if you took a GI fund you get 32 cloves)

So, assuming that my action for the third phase was skipped, that's 80 cloves for me.

"How many you selling ?"
"At most I can probably afford selling 50 daybreakers along with 100 shells."
" I.. I think we can only buy 25.... but the ammo should stay where it is... How much you want for them ? "
"hmmm the whole is worth 265 cloves but since we'll probably deal with each other again from more ammo I'll sell it to you for 240."
" Ah ! s- sure ! ..be wonderful."
"It's a pleasure dealing with you, so do you think you have anything of value I could sell back in clovis?"
" mmmm our town just burned down so I can't say we have much... only information. Aren't you curious about the guy you just picked up ? "
"Well yes, make it worth my time and I'm adding 50 shells for free."
" I see... Us fringe folk don't fight in much wars, but when there are wars, they happen to come to us... deserters, bandits, they're just tired soldiers and tired people who don't want to mess with this fighting. I used to work in a backwater station and now it got swallowed up by sand. What I do know about working in that station, was that it contained these war winnings from a Colonel Thane. Artifacts they were but last I heard they got swiped you see, by a Kashirn unit. I hear the woman leading that unit had something to do with your Mr. Johnson showing up. Didn't mean to pry... but that child is awful aloof for someone who's been on the ground.. don't you think ?"
"Well I didn't have the chance to talk to the child myself but yes it does seem so."
>>
>>19482323
" High Chances you could get in contact with that woman through your contact. I bet they'd be willing to spare a few artifacts. But I'm no Kashirn emissary, I just look at sand, you see. And you know what I learned from looking at all that sand ? "
"That it's never a good news?"
" We're all the same. You and I, and this dead mountain of sand that's known eternity. Just thought I'd throw what bit of know how I got from working the border patrol for 5 years."
"Hahaha, that was well worth my time consider your 50 extra shells will be there when the weapons are delivered. So, we are all grain of sand pushed foward by eternity wind forming dunes one day and disapearing the other... don't mind if I prefer this metaphor."
" The metaphor can do whatever it wants. It's sand after all.".

For all your artifact needs pass by LasnaudJackal...

Honestly I feel as if I could use more mobility...Something to close gaps faster or increase my defensive capacities. The Jockey is an extremely fine machine, better then most I'd say, but it's speed in wide open spaces isn't top notch...That's all that comes to mind right now on short notice thinking.
>>
>>19483502
I also forgot to say that anything between 100 to 400c is within my price range. But if you have anything you think I might find interesting at a higher price I can keep that in mind.
>>
>>19483513
Hmmm the only things I founds are
Box of Beetles: +/- 1000 cloves put beetles in it for a day and a night and they will dig for a physic bending tunnel that allow instantaneous travel the digging take some time though and you must see where the tunnel ends.

Eye of Shiva: +/-2100 cloves, has the power to slow time around the user and other miscellaneous shenanigans relating to time. The price tag is because it's so stylish.

I'll see if I can find anything cheaper but don't get your hope up.

Kashir could possibly be a recognized nation and that means the whole shape of the world will change.. Voss will have a hell of a harder time claiming their kills as theirs and they might even be struck out of the Aeon peace pact. Now that Kashir will be consigned as a participant of the World Summit, the economy would have to see a big share of their wealth as well... "

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, you wouldn't want to throw that sort of adventure away would you? Oh, and sure we can talk. What's on your mind?

"So, I heard you got paid a mighty sum for that stolen tank right? You /drove/ it out of there right? You wouldn't want anyone finding out you lied and falsified your background records right? You see where I'm getting at right?"

She puts on an innocent grin, with just a small hint of slyness.
>>
But for Aeon...if we could get our hands on a Rook or Knight spec, hell even some parts would be good. We could have significant advantages with our already good armor designs...

As for the Kashir...if they could stop with those heretic DeathGod rituals and sacrifices...
>>
>>19486120

"And I'd like you not to forget you've got a collar on your neck that I happen to hold one of the kill switches for. Just ought to let you know. If you really wanted to survive long enough to pay off your debt, you'd keep your mouth shut about any such allegations."

She covers her eyes with one hand, and starts shifting around anxiously. "Just... I can't believe I'm even asking for this... I'll forget about your fuckup, if you can convince our dear Miss Quartermaster to get rid of this thing, maybe just.. ah god, make it a shock collar instead, or at least have it made out of leather or something... Please?"
>>
>>19486323

"Maybe if you'd just asked for it out right, I'd consider it. The way you went about this only proves you need that collar. You can't be trusted unless you're kept in line, that much you've just made apparent to me. And I've seen your files, you've got a background of deviant behavior throughout your life, and no corrective method seems to stick. Maybe with this experience you'll stop trying to con your way forward in life and earn it instead."
>>
>>19486401
The girl's hands ball into fists. "Deviant behavior? Did you even fucking read any further than that? I lived on the damn streets! Every single fucking day was a fight to survive." She is fighting back tears at this point. "And you, you have the gall to say I'm irredeemable? You don't even give me a damn chance, not even one request, just like everyone else."

“Sir, I'm not sure whether or not you should be up on your feet right now--”

“I don't need your approval, corpsman! War has begun and I have missed the opening shots! If I am not to take that as an insult, I don't know what I /should/ take that as!” The man had somehow gotten his old robes on, avoided the eyes of the medicae, and was nearly through the building and to the command building when a passing nurse noted that he was out of his bed.

“Your stiches--!”

“They'll heal on their own!” The man barreled his way past the medicae, proceeding to make his way through to the Command Tent. The man's face was locked into an enraged grimace. “Disgraceful,” he muttered, passing by an unwary aide. “First day as an Officer and me and my mech are incapacitated before we even get out onto the field.” His eyes screwed shut from the indignity of having to watch the deployment trucks roll out from base behind a windowpane in Medical.

Unfortunately, it was only a thousand times worse that should get to see the trucks come back, their occupants filled with euphoria and fervor, that the battle--/his/ battle—had been won, their objectives accomplished. 'Without me,' he reminded himself.

He was angry. He had been looking forward to command; the glory, the excitement, thee cstacy of conducting the soundtrack of war—it was something he had imagined since his days in training under Templar Caestus. He had not fulfilled his duty as a commanding officer. Commanding Officer. The words tore at his soul like talons against flesh. He had had high hopes. He felt disgraced.

He was a dangerous man when seeking penance.
>>
Luke smiled at Salazar. "Well, aren't you ambitious! It depends on what the higher-ups say, but if you need anything, ask for Gh-" He stopped himself - "Ghost" was a nickname from an old time, an old place, an old memory. The last battle marked a new beginning for Luke White.

"Ask for 'Spectre.'" With that, he left to get some rest and a bite to eat.

After the first dash, Primary and held weapons are listed. These weapons are useable right away even in overwatch.
Weapons in the Sidearm can be switched to on your turn and is readily available for use in the same turn, if drawn, they are useable in over-watch.

Now let's look at the Item bar:
-Extra Mags x3
-Pistol mags x2
-Grenades
! Steath Training: Grass Camo
! Language Training: Aeoni

Things marked in dashes are equipment related to your weapons like ammo. These can be accessed with a reload action.

Throwables like knives or grenades will likely find their way here. At which point, they can never be used for overwatch if they are in your backpack. However taking them out and using them can be done in the same action.

initial funds: 200$
after equipment purchases: 70$
mission attendance: +80$
current total: 170$

The tall man and the moustached man that is the Osprey unit rests at the mess hall.
"That was some mission, eh." the moustached man said.
"Yep."
"We took out two choppers, but just one casualty from our company!"
"Darn dog."
"You said it. Anyways, I still find it incredible that we share the same last name. What are the chances two people named Sikorski would get into the Clovis military, and assigned the same team?"
"Lots."
"Ain't you a man of few words. Anyways, what are you making there?"
the tall man takes a break from his woodcarving, flipping his carving knife into its own built-in scabbard.
"Stuff."

"We're not exactly a force structured against open warfare, and I do not think that a 4-way battle royale would bode well for any nation involved. However," Plaid said crossing his arms, "we will see what we can do about reuniting you with your uncle, half-sister, and your servant.

"I suppose we can start with you half-sister and your servant. What were their names? Do you know the whereabouts of the Voss unit that took them? Do you know where they were seen last?"
>>
>>19486521
Isabelle glances at the arriving Commander, this conversation was definitely over. "Fine, just think about what I said Vulture, if not, I can always just go straight to the Quartermaster herself. Perhaps she'll be a bit more merciful."
>>
"Like I said, this sounds shady." Kozak mumbled to nobody in particular, still not having taken off his balaclava despite not being on duty. "Even us folks in Ragnyll have heard about the Voss/Kashir war, and the dark rumors that came with it. Scuttlebutt is that both sides are dabbling in necromancy..."

Kozak sighs and shifts around uncomfortably.

"Now, I'm not saying I necessarily believe in those rumors, but are these really the kind of people we want to be messing with? I mean, at least the Aeons are predictable..."
>>
so it all depends on the amount of cloves we have? so if we had enough cloves could a single player run several units? like an alpha and a bravo unit? how would that affect origin? does the player's origin apply to all of the troops under his command?

Let's talk about platooning:

Don't do it.

> Literally, this is up for debate in the chat room.
>>
Welp, this was either a horrible idea liable to get her killed, or a great one that is such a longshot it's practically in the next country. She had stood outside the Echo's door for minutes, working up the courage before finally rapping her knuckles on it three times in quick succession.

"Pardon me, Miss Lasnaud, Quartermaster lady? It's me, Konnair, the Vosskon Convict. May I trouble you for a moment of your time please?"

Let's see, my half sister was a Starstress by the name of Rai, she had sworn her involvement with the royal line to become a Stargazing priestess... however my father had twisted her tale into that of a Deathgod sacrifice.... Another thing is my servant has silver hair, which is rare for our kind to have. She does not have a name, but I have given her one. Maria.

Last I have heard, they have made contact with the initial voss attackers that had set foot on our holy lands. And my servant was caught during her many trips to the Earthly villages...

It is evident that they were within Voss.. or are dead...
>>
>>19488942
"You may enter."
A tall woman with long white hair is hunched looking and making corrections on what seems to be accounting documents.
"Ah Pvt.Konnair, I have your ammo refills and rations for you and your partner, I know you won't be able to afford them for a while but don't worry as soon as your debt to society is paid you'll be able to afford those."
>>
>>19489029
What little confidence Isabelle had quickly dissipates as she actually comes face to face with Lasnaud. The thought of the woman having the means to simply kill her at any time lingers in the the back of her head the entire conversation.

"Ah yes, that is actually what I wished to speak to you about. I realize it is not my place to even consider asking this, but are there /any/ alternative means to this thing," she says quietly, nervously fingering the large metal collar around her neck. "It's cold, it's tight, I can't wear collared shirts anymore, and it has a freaking bomb in it, which isn't just a danger to me, but to the rest of the unit if they happen to be in the vicinity when it goes off. And heaven forbid it detonates when we are in the transport plane, or if the enemy somehow cracks the frequency."

She lets her hands fall back down to her sides, standing at attention, "Might I suggest an alternative in the form of a simple shock collar. Such a thing would be more than enough to subdue me in the preposterous chance I require it. And well, if it's out of the question, and this is just wishful thinking, but at least can the thing be made out of something more comfortable and smaller? Ma'am?"
>>
>>19489306
Koko sighs at the request.
"Whoever told you they could detonate you at the push of a button lied to you, the explosive in the collar require a code to be sent to it, so even if the enemy somehow managed to find the frequency required to send info to the shaped explosive in your collar they wouldn't even know it unless the code was sent and we both know what that mean. As for removing the collar I don't have the code, nor does anyone in the unit, it will be sent to use once you paid your debts. Also don't try to thinker with it too much if you don't want to end up in a pink mist. It's hard to clean. You're dismissed Pvt.Konnair."
>>
>>19489320
The red head glances down at her feet, disheartened. "Very well Ma'am, I understand, I guess."

"I just have one last piece of business. I no longer require the use of my Ruger R3 rifles and it's ammunition, and I understand you are the go-to person to sell equipment, like you did with 2nd Lieutenant Lakkan and the tank he /somehow/ managed to pilot despite being of outlaw background. I have two R3 rifles, as well as twelve magazines of ammunition, which I purchased for a total of 100 cloves, but I guess you want a fee deducted from that?"
>>
>>19488976

The early Voss offensives? I remember reading the newspaper clippings about the fighting--radio broadcasts, too, by that devil in a dress the Voss use as a propaganda mouthpiece. Terrible, fierce combat--and at the tip of the spear, the Voss Royal Guard. No doubt, your sister and servant are either dead, rotting in prison, or are working with the Voss--to what end, I have no idea, but it can be safe to assume that nothing good can come from these Vosskon projects.

What about your uncle? You said he was in the holy cities? And who would you prefer us to acquire first?
>>
>>19489408
"The units will buy them back for you, I can really only sell collection items to full price in the homeland. Have a nice day Pvt.Konnair."
>>
>>19489414

I would ask you, what's wise. Both the Holy cities and the Voss /royal guard/ as it were would be met with dangerous resistance from one side or the other. But if we should gain more insight on the situation, then I would say the Holy cities would be easier to maneuver into, and retrieving my uncle first would allow us the ability to come up with a plan to infiltrate the Voss, and find the rest of my relatives "
>>
>>19489435
"Ah, right, then I shall be delighted to acquire foreign equipment for you to sell. Thank you for your time Ma'am. I hope we can have a pleasurable relationship-, business relationship as well." She gives an untrained salute, spins on her heels, and exits the room. As soon as the door shuts behind her she collapses back against the wall, relief flooding through her. "She's not so bad..."

'Any luck?'

Isabelle glances in the direction the voice originated from, finding herself looking up at her squadmate, a large, dark skinned woman, her black hair cropped short. "I'm afraid not, but she seems nice enough, I don't think we'll have to worry about her."

Her partner grunts in reply, 'You should speak with Commander Plaid next, see if he has the means to replace our collars.'

"Not until after the next mission, I want to prove myself to the higher-ups first. And I hope you aren't too attached to your Ruger rifle..."

>Sell two R3s and twelve rifle magazines.
>Purchase one H3 rocket
>Current cloves: 70 + whatever I get for selling said items.
>Also, requesting clarification on the Ace Bond, as I have received conflicting information on it. Do I get the 700 right away, and it is paid off after I achieve 10 kills? Or do I need to achieve 10 kills in order to receive the 700?
>>
"Heh, looks like we missed the party." A short, brown haired guy stood in front of the briefing room, his almost comically oversized Aviator Googles dangling wildly around his neck.

"Dont look so disapointed, Mike. Loosing the fuel purchase forms one day before our first mission... I am really amazed that you even managed to find your head this morning."

Thusly chastised by his coworker, the Femto pilot responded in kind.
"O come on, i already apologized like, 7 times in a row now, didnt I?"
"And i am pissed we didnt get to put our names on the payroll this time."
"Hah, we'll have another chance. Take it easy. And Money isn't everything, right?"

"... What are you doing in Clovis again?"
"Hey, i just like flying, and the Clovis airforce has some of the BEST aircrafts a pilot could wish for."

"Whatever, lets just report to the CO that we are ready to go, ok?"

> 200 Starting money, 700 Ace Bounds, 300 Early Bird grants, 1200 Total

>-Femto 800,

>-P1 20, might need it
>!Ragnyllian Squirrel Aspect 100,

>>
>>19489414

Let me be the first of the armored group to welcome you back commander, we missed you in the first battle and we hope to serve you well in the second.
>>
"Soooo. Let me get this clear. You will, not just let us go for our... Less then legal train robbing business, but you will wipe our criminal records AND all we have to do is kill a bunch of people? Well geez mister. Do we get to go outside occasionally?"
"No"
"Can we get any spending money?"
"Only what we give you?"
"Can I have my hat back?"
"Yes"
"Deal. We'll make sure to play nice around the barracks. Or do we have to stay in our cell when we aren't let out?"

>Do i get the 200 Cloves at the start because I am a convict?
>Is the weapon I pick to be my free weapon type the type I am stuck with or do I get to choose between missions?
>>
>>19489446

Well, both targets seem to be equally important to you, young Salazar. You wouldn't happen to know just what we'll be going up against if we took either route, would you?

In any case, what do you think, ladies and gents? Shall we rescue the uncle from the siege of the holy cities or liberate the sister and servant from the oppression of the Voss boot?
>>
Forgot my tripcode
>>
>>19493830

I'd like to propose that we try and get the uncle back sir. Seems to me like he's in a more dire position while the sister and servant could already be dead for all we know.
>>
>>19493830
securing the uncle should be top priority, I'm pretty sure it's the only know variable in all this.

>>19489446
Can we expect any help from your subjects while in Kashir territory?
>>
>>19493830

"If you ask me sir, the holy city will be able to continue holding out for a while if its really that holy and a capital and shit. rumour has it that the Voss Royal Guard suffered heavy losses in some kinda backwater engagement. I say strike whilst the iron is still hot. If we are lucky we can catch em while they are still rebuilding, and take one of the most dangerous vosskon Regiments out before the conflict has even started. And who knows, we might even be able to take a hostage in return?"
>>
>>19490609

You don't have that extra 200 starting money, the Early Bird Grant is essentially your free 300 starting cloves.

>>19493348

Yes, you do have that starting money (considering outfitting funds), and someone will get back to you on the second question.
>>
>>19494724

Also Magpie, that means you don't have to spend $100 training a pilot, you're just paying the $800 for your vehicle.
>>
>>19494724

In that case I outfit my squad with the 300 Cloves as thus

>100 Cloves for Unit Training
>Pick S1 as my free weapon type
>100 Cloves for 100 Shotgun Shells
>70 Cloves for 7 Helmets
>30 Cloves for 3 Ration packs

"Boss why have we got these cheap shotguns?"
"On loan from the unit Van Der Graaf. We get the money, we get to go home. So we are gonna have to go cheap so we save more money. Capeche?"
>>
>>19495366

Nnnngh, forgot Trip again
>>
I've come to a decision: Salazar, we will make for the Kashir holy cities and save your uncle. If what you've said is true, rescuing him and his men will allow us an edge when we move to rescue your sister and servant. No doubt they will be grateful for the assistance as well.

I must ask a few questions, though: Where are the holy cities? Who are we fighting? What enemy types are we going up against--lots of armor? Troops? We need to know what and where we're fighting to gear up appropriately.
>>
>>19496104
"Gear up appropriately? What's wrong with having over half of us just taking anti tank rifles again?"
>>
>>19497213
It's for the other half of us that don't have giant mechs of anti-tank rifles sweety.
>>
A package is left in front of Quartermaster Lasnaud's quarters, containing a training book, two rifles, and a dozen full magazines, all neatly tucked away. The note on top reads:

'Koko, turns out you can sell our equipment fulled price too. Here's that 100 cloves worth of stuff I talked about earlier, take a percentage and get the rest back to me when you can, preferably more than what I'd get selling it myself. I also picked up a gift, hopefully it will come in handy.
Pvt. Isabelle Konnair'

>Start funds, 770
>Purchase 'Comm Hacking' and give to [met]E.LasnaudJackal.
>Purchase Grappling training, Helmets and two K4s for self.

In the skies and in the foothills of high mountains, there exists the many gates that lead to the Heavenly cities. Heaven's Gate which has been taken by the Voss, and now, Redemption's Gate which exists on the other side of Kashir is the backdoor into the holy cities. The path is infested with great monsters, monstrous weather patterns, and ascends terrifying heights into the city of Paradise where he will greet his foes with an army full of warriors that have overcome these obstacles "

" But if we fly there, we don't have to do any of that. "

" As for compensation I will grant you 30 cloves for every servant rescued , 1000 for my Owl of an Uncle on top of the 10 cloves you may gain for every possible Voss soldier defeated... if they show up "
>>
>>19500930
"Monstrous Weather Patterns? Sounds like i don't really wanna get hit by that. I dunno 'bout the Big Birds, but my Femto is a bit ... touchy when it comes to sudden weather changes."

"But oh well, the compensation sure is sweet, and flying there will be a challenge too! So i am all for it!"

>>19494724
>>19494747

Thanks for the info. Then make my loadout:

>700 Ace Bounds, 300 Early Bird grants, 1000 Total

>-Femto 800,
>-10 Bombs 100
>!Ragnyllian Rabbit Aspect 100,
> 0 Cloves left

"O come on Mike, did you really put ALL our loaned money into bombs?"
"Sure did, so we make a bigger splash if we meet the enemy!"
"It didn't occur to you that we might also want to get fed?"
>>
>>19500930

Monsters? Like what--gigantic lizards that can eat tanks in one bite? Gigantic serpents that burrow under the ground?

It doesn't look like flying in will be a viable options--the only thing we've got that can brave those high winds are Femtos, and I'm not in the mood for trading my mech for a plane, much less giving the entire unit fliers. Is there a way we can signal your uncle ahead of time that we are friendly, possibly sending us some troop support as we make our way up to the Gate? I would suggest you come along with us for his assurances, but I would rather not jeopardize your safety.
>>

Well, not meaning to rain on your monster parade here but we're capable of completely circumventing that if it is a flying island...

So what's it gonna be , knock on their front door and hope they let us in ? Or Insert ourselves from the sky and hope for a bag and grab ?

Your lives, your choice. Either way, it'll look like we got the Kashirn old guard , or monsters to deal with if not the Voss, this time around "
>>
>eight hundred cloves for the Jockey
>one hundred cloves for the "G" attachment
>one hundred cloves for the "T" attachment
>total cost is one thousand cloves
>Early Bird Grant confers three hundred cloves
>Ace Bond confers seven hundred cloves
>total cost of one thousand cloves met; ten confirmed kills owed
>>
>>19501685

Going through the monsters all the way to the front gate might be seen as a trial by fire to those Kashir at the gate. Fight through the monsters, they see we're worthy enough for them to welcome us in. If we fly in, however, I guess we can use the Big Bird transport planes to get us in nice and close. Then we can extract Salazar's uncle and fly off, simple as that. No matter which route we take, still leaves us the problem of identifying ourselves as friendlies to a group of war-crazed veterans sitting on the gate. Salazar--is there any way you know of that we could pull that off? I'd rather not get shot at when we get up to where his troops can see us.
>>
>>19501685
I say we go in through the back. No use in pissing off the Voss more than we already have. Plus, if the Kashir holed up here turn out to be hostile, at least we'll end up only having to fight one army rather than two.
>>
a bump before bed
>>
>>19501685

"I'd really hate to have to fly in those strange weather formations on that path thingy, and 'sides, isnt Salazar the Kashir heir? I'd say curbstomping their old guard wouldnt be that great for public relations if you catch my drift... Can't we just radio em that we're incoming and then fly in? I mean, it must be worth somethin that we're working for their princess. Only thing we'd have to deal with would be the Voss airforce, and though their VTOL capabilities are kinda impressive they're no match for our speed. We could just, dunno, fly around them?"
