>We'll have our own Conclave! With hookers! And blackjack!
You know what? Forget the Conclave!
And we're back!
So. . . Any chance of worldship locations found?
>>19281148We can roll to check again, if you want to risk it.
Also, last thread is archived.http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/19279527/You get to vote for me twice, today!
>>19281157Let's.
rolled 9 = 9>>19281157Let's just keep going until we destroy the thing.
>>19281157Fuck it, let's risk it. We've gotten most of what we can out of this busted up worldship anyway.
rolled 3 = 3>>19281157Worldship hunting.
rolled 11 = 11here's nothing
rolled 20 = 20>>19281157Rolling for Worldship destruction!
>>19281225And Kaboom.
>>19281197>>19281219(That, right there, is the roll I wanted before)We find some interesting files that seem like star maps, but the computer screen flashes red, error messages flood across, and finally the whole thing bleeds a distressing shade of mauve, and dies. The lights flicker, then fade. The worldship's computer, it seems, has finally failed. After waiting in space since before the creation of the Protoss species, its rise, the creation and fall of the Overmind, and our entire life, it has finally worn out.
>>19281418Oh well.Have some cloaked Overlords check out positions on those star maps.
rolled 18 = 18>>19281418have some one brute force take it apart and learn how it was built
>>19281476Voodoo and crystals. Now lets scour space fot Tassarar.Side note, try typing onr handed sideways.
MEANWHILE, ON EARTH...Kerrigan arrives on the Earth in an overlord (despite her objections, we talked her into using Dapperlord. We even made him a special cane, with a golden handle shaped like the Earth!) just outside of New York. As she sets foot upon the planet that birthed her species, a thousand doves are released, and millions of cheering Infested Terrans welcome her. She is escorted to a massive parade float, just ahead of the massive balloons.(Roll 1d100)
rolled 57 = 57>>19281602We love you Sis!
rolled 53 = 53>>19281602Are we going to have to pacify some rednecks? Because it sounds like we're going to have to pacify some rednecks.
rolled 53 = 53Let's see how she'll react to the "Futility of War" float that Artisanlord hastily constructed at the last second.
>>19281694Or the giant golden statue of us hugging her that we replaced Lady Liberty with.
>>19281617>>19281618As the parade passes through Central Park, surrounded by a seemingly endless crowd of cheering Terrans, gunfire erupts. A small cadre of humans advances on the parade, screaming about the superiority of the race. Everybody goes silent while they march. The parade stops dead. Kerrigan, her voice amplified, says flatly..."You're kidding, right?"For a moment, the humans look confident. Then, they look like forty soldiers being torn limb from limb by a hundred million people. The parade continues. We are still chuckling to ourselves as a fleet of Protoss warships emerges from warp over Tarsonis. They punch through the Terrans' main defenses. There is still fighting, but without reinforcements, the world will fall.
>>19281872Warp in several battlegroups from surrounding systems, and prep the ships at Yoshus for launch. Get Warbrate to organize a defense of Tarsonis. We will not let anyone destroy it now that we finally have it in our grasp.
Oh, shit.Isn't there a cerbrate on Tarsonis?
>>19281872I'm tempted to send a crap load of Lovemuffins.
>>19281990Yes. Defensebrate is on Tarsonis. Citybrate is on Moria.>>19281921Warbrate springs into action, preparing the fleet. It wants to know if we should use the heighliners to get ships in faster, or to get ships in from UED space.
>>19281872Send reinforcements!Get defense reports from units stationed there and try to estimate enemy fleet composition.Prep some psi-cannon-mounted units for insurance in case any psionic gunk happens.
>>19282036Would it be feasible to warp in heighliners, unload them, then have them warp out real quick-like?The defense of one of our Cerebrates is very important. But losing a Heighliner to Tassadar could also be fairly disastrous, especially if he has another fleet just waiting to warp into the system.
>>19282036Use the Heighliners to get ships in faster. Use them to continue to ferry ships to the Tarsonis system as the battle progresses to provide constant reinforcements.Tarsonis must not fall!
>>19282068>Would it be feasible to warp in heighliners, unload them, then have them warp out real quick-like?That's what we built them to do, actually. Still, it takes a couple of seconds to load and unload, so there is always risk.>>19282081>Use heighliners to deploy faster: 1>Use heighliners to bring in UED space units: 0
>>19282129Do the same thing as we did with the UED fight forever ago; warp the heighliners in a safe distance away, unload there, and have the forces warp the rest of the way themselves.
rolled 16 = 16>>19282129>Use heighliners to deploy faster:
>>19282161Alright, let's do this then. The terrans in the Korpulu sector have gone through so much. Why do you torment them so, Tassadar?
>>19282262>>19282252Good enough for me. Roll 3d100
rolled 33, 29, 27 = 89>>19282303
rolled 75, 79, 41 = 195>>19282303/tg/ dice rolling.Prepare for impact.
rolled 44, 36, 38 = 118>>19282303How dare you attack our Terran Reservation. They're an endangered species, you prick!
rolled 60, 6, 26 = 92>>19282303yes sir right away
>>19282315>>19282334Defensebrate feeds tactical information from its buildings and relays the reports from the very small Terran defense militia to Warbrate, who floats above an orbital platform near Yoshus. Our heighliners gather at a rendezvous point three AU out of the system, stopping only to unload units before returning to Yoshus to pick up more. The fleet begins moving before all the units coming arrive, as the Protoss fleet is pressing the battle into position directly above Defensebrate. Warbrate believes this is evidence that Defensebrate is the actual target. The Protoss ships react surprisingly quick to our arrival; a group of shuttles in the upper atmosphere jump away almost immediately. The warships are a little more sluggish, but they form up with alacrity.Despite having seen no landing party, the Terran populace is panicked. Fearful riots are cropping up in the streets. Defensebrate wistfully remarks that it'd be hard to notice any invaders, what with the locals already destroying the cities.
>>19282532>invasion>people riotI don't understand that at all. Why would the riot, of all actions to take?
>>19282532Use the ZergTV Emergency Broadcast System to transmit to all of Tarsonis that the Zerg have already entered the Tarsonis system with reinforcements, and that more defenders are on their way.Have Defensebrate reinforce the Tarsonis Defense Grid, and begin intensive patrols to find the rest of Tassadar's fleet.
>>19282593Because people are dumbasses. We should probably get Defencebrate away from Tarsonis simply for the reason that I don't want another Overmind to happen.
>>19282593Well, on the one hand, the entire Koprulu Sector's Terran population is bred from convicts and political prisoners on the one hand, and on the other, the last time somebody attacked a Terran world like this, it was Bernie, come to rape everything and everyone until they died. Some of them are acting out in-born personality traits. Others are having flashbacks.
>>19282630Defensebrate can begin the process of moving, but it will take time, and it won't be able to give as much attention to the battle at hand.
>>19282682Hold off on moving for now.Let's finish the battle in space. Also, begin landing Zerg troops to help defense Defencebrate. I wouldn't put it past Tassadar if the big, bold attack was just a distraction for a sneaky assassination by Dark Templar, just like he pulled back during the Second Battle of Aiur.
>>19282778That's the kind of paranoia I was hoping for!Again, roll 3d100 to advance the battle.
rolled 79, 77, 67 = 223>>19282819And Defensebrate will be killed while we're preparing to defend him due to /tg/ dice.
rolled 58, 69, 85 = 212>>19282819Rolling for 'toss shenanigans.
rolled 40, 38, 51 = 129>>19282819Tassadar slipped through our claws twice; I don't want him to become another Kingston.
>>19282849>>19282844In the skies, the Protoss seem to have realized that they are outnumbered. They have taken a very defensive posture, and are taking no risks. This change in tactic irritates Warbrate, who is finding their formations tough to crack. Still, it lessens our casualties, and more reinforcements are still on the way, so it can't complain too much.Gorn volunteers to send its own honor guard to protect Defensebrate. We take the risk of bringing the heighliners carrying them much closer to the planet (though still far out of thee range of combat) for expedience. They land forces around the cerebrate and begin to form up a defensive perimeter.>>19282844>And Defensebrate will be killed while we're preparing to defend him due to /tg/ dice....so, um, this is awkward...roll 2d20.
rolled 12, 17 = 29>>19282972Shit, there really was a Dark Templar assassination squad on their way to Defensebrate?
rolled 15, 18 = 33>>19282972:V
rolled 11, 14 = 25>>19282972Aw shit.
>>19283003>>19283042(Honestly, I expected you guys to freak out as soon as I told you Defensebrate was on the surface...)The moment a unit steps out of range of an overlord, it is sliced completely in half.Gorn's forces leap into action. The overlords begin weaving a pattern over Defensebrate, and a small battle begins. The cloaked Protoss are outnumbered, though, and soon enough we hear their wills break."There are too many, brothers! We must withdraw!""No! We did not forsake the Khala to retreat like cowards!"The second speaker's bravado is inspiring enough that even we feel like they should stay and fight, but the Devouring One that leaps on him from behind, reaches around, and tears his rib cage in half, ignoring the battle to feast on the spilled entrails before the Protoss is even dead, convinces the warriors that discretion is the better part of valor. They scatter, doubtless retreating to a predetermined fallback point. We restrain Gorn from pursuit; it would be just like a Dark Templar to lure us away, like that. A few minutes later, a shuttle takes off and begins fleeing the world. In space, the Protoss forces immediately turn away, and begin a rather obvious effort to clear an escape corridor. Warbrate asks us whether we should allow them to withdraw (retreat is, of course, disgraceful to the Protoss, and Warbrate knows how much we love disgracing our opponents. It's so thoughtful!).MEANWHILE, ON EARTH...Kerrigan's festive parade has ended, and she's been officially presented with the Key to the Sol System. Pictures were taken. She sat on a massive throne we built for her. We tried to convince her that Earth royalty always wear terrifically large, ornate pauldrons, but she didn't go for it.
>>19283279>She sat on a massive throne we built for her.Hah! She really IS our little sister-princess!Anyway, back to Tarsonis. Yes, let them escape. But as the Protoss flee, make sure to hit as many of their ships as we can with parasites so that we can track them.
>>19283279I say that Warbrate should try to disable as many ships as possible without incurring heavy losses; that might give us some protoss biomatter to work with. But otherwise let them retreat and try to give pursuit with our own cloaked units so that we can attempt to track them.Be ready to have forces to warp to Moria to aid Citybrate. Also, good work Gorn.
>>19283279And while we're at it, I want a personal guard for every cerebrate that is off of our main planet.I will not lose another cerebrate. . . wait.I will not lose another SANE cerebrate.
Tassadar is obviously still on his "kill all zerg" phase.Inform Khas that he's allied with the Dark Templar and tried to assassinate a cerebrate. This would result in us going down for a bit, and zerg would rampage wildly and possibly harm uninvolved protoss.Clearly, Tassadar has become a terrorist threat that must be neutralized for the good of all children of the Xel'Naga.
>>19283375Citybrate is glad that we care. Toaster seems to think the guards are unnecessary, but it is sitting on the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in recorded history, so cockiness is to be expected.>>19283347>>19283334The Protoss escape mostly unharmed. We set upon their disabled ships as soon as their fleet leaves. Most self-destruct. We manage to capture eight Protoss from those left.Nargil and Internbrate are both very excited for the opportunity to watch Labbrate break and infest them. We hope it's like riding a bike.Mkay. I think that's a good place to stop for the night.Somebody voted for the 3rd for next thread, but I could also do the 8th if that's better for more people.http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/19281105/
>>19283618Both work for me.
>>19283634Guess we'll go with the 3rd, then. See you guys, then!'til then, infestors gonna infest.
