Just because I feel the general paranoia levels have fallen too far here is a little tin foil hat theoryThis is all a mind wipe, we are Negayate we went and did all these evil things and now we are being reset and about to be dumped. This is shown when we get sucked back into the HnG canon and they attempt to counteract this by introducing elements from it to distract us ( the butler motif, Hina, etc etc ) This works because they are using time fuckery thanks to the doctor and Yuki to basically rewrite everything after it went wrong so they can try and cause it to go right to avert a massive fuck up in the metaThose times we seem to have flashes or the canon? Our real memories coming through trying to say something is up, A-tan? Our subconscious trying to make us realize what is wrongEverything may well have started from when Mike picked us up but the mind wipe could of been a bit heavy handed leading to us to use a false name because the real one was locked away in our mind as dangerous, Kraus being how he is isn't an aberration, it is how he is because of how we were. We snapped and went that way so we needed a partner like us.
