My internet is being shonky, but here goes anyway,

Sorry for being so late! Now is an incredible time to check archives or in fact, just ask me any questions you have about what to do.

You curtsey and introduce your humble party and your intentions on this planet. This seems to set her slightly more at ease, but she still seems shaken.

She explains that she and her mates were part of an IMPERIAL NAVY first response unit. Well trained but numbering only in the dozens. They were salughtered and corned and she eventually managed to take refuge in this diner.

She introduces herself as Lieutenant Juniour Grade KLON GWIZDEK, a sniper.

Noticing your stares she points out she is from Wierny, a planet whose inhabitants have an odd, greyish pigmentation, and that she has HIGH GRADE BIONIC EYES.

The JUKEVOX is broken, but has a panel on it that grants access to its innards.

The SNACKOMATIC requires CASHMONEY for snacks.

KLON mentions that someone who you might know staggered into the DINER a while back, but was ill and fell unconcious, so she's been trying to look after them in the storeroom.

KLON accepts the ORANGE VIAL and hands you a full container of PEELZ in return, good for 10 1d10 hit point recoverys divided as you like.

All that trouble her now is the vague sense of horror she can't seem to shake that's coming from the back room that she identifies as COLD STORAGE. As she mentions it, you see what she means.

MYERS agrees to stand watch while KLON takes a breather. MYERS also gives you CASHMONEY for the SNACKOMATIC.

Unable to break the code on the JUKEVOX, you resolve to come back to it later.

These codes don't seem to work, JACOBI of handlt mentions that he's busted into these before, and that the codes tend to be long, but that before you ask, he doesn't know it so don't bother.

You activate the SNACKOMATIC and recieve a bag of ORK RINDS.

Not made from real ORK naturally, it's just a name like monster feet. Salty and delicious. The SNACKOMATIC seems empty now.

"Lanky waits in the hollow with the cheshire. She waits."

C'mon, Boone. Willpower roll. We need to stop shitting our pants. This is our teammate. Now, sure, she invites a horrible existential fear that sinks into our very immortal soul so long as we are around her, but she's not our foe. That necron heretek was a million times more dangerous.

Calm down, muster up your will, and hug her. Hugs make everything better.

Lanky? Lancaster? Cuddles! She means Cuddles! THIS is Cuddle's chum?! A Culexus assassin?! Is that who Nada is?

You attempt to tell her where Cuddles is in her own odd language and she absolutely understands she comes close to you and puts something in your pocket.

You stare into the void. There is nothing there.

(its the psy-realm, so its not strinctly speaking a real hug, but you've done this before so you know how it feels)

She raises your head and tells you plainly that because she has seen things - possible futures. Futures that may never occur, but that if they do you will need to be strong to do what must be done.

Because she knows you can. But knows you wont unless you're forced. She assures you that she's sorry, and that she finds both your weakness and your naivete' endearing, but that we must be practical or we'll lose what we hold dear.

You step out of the COLD ROOM to applause from all except JACOBI.

They saw NADA leave, and they realise what must have happened.

KLON says that between the PILLS and you getting rid of the DREAD PRESENCE in the COLD ROOM she can now support you with SNIPING, should you ever need it.

Once per ENCOUNTER, KLON will reliably deal 1d100 to a target of your choice, providing you sacrifice BOONEs turn to make the call. You can also call her on the COMMBEAD, for other reasons. Iunno. Shoot the shit.

    So where to next?

    Can I get a concensus?
    And choose your party.

    The car has 4 seats
SO, while you have the car you can carry a forth team member to switch out periodically (or take to the SHUTTLE CRASH to switch out for another, if you can)
to keep in reserve. So three enter wherver you go, and one watches the car, basically.

    Make some minds up, basically.
I'm gonna grab a drink or something. This shit's gone all day.

    Scotch time. Yes it is.

Wait is SNIPING available irrespective of whether we take KLON or not?
If so we probably can afford to leave somebody behind and head back to CRASH to get another two teamies up and about.
If we're not up with leaving a teamate behind to make sure KLON will be ok, then we get JACOBI, DANEEL and MYERS to pile in, we've got a COMMISSAR to find!

Take Daneel and Myers. Jacobi's a pretty good shot and mostly serious... When he wasn't being a skirtchasing git to us, though that incident was isolated. Klon might need backup, so we'll leave him with her for now.

Daneel, however, is worse about the skirtchasing, and would probably interefere with Klon's work. Because he's a goit like that, and crazy bioinic eyes & exotic complexion aren't going to stop him from working his magic; he did get a little clank-clank with a tech priestess after all. And Myers... Myers is a complete nutter once that mask goes on, so it's our responsibility to keep that nutter from going nutty on anyone he shouldn't. He's worrisome he is.

Once again, let's go to the Imperial shrine, scope out any heretics, and offer our prayers to the God-Emperor.
    >> Iron Lung 05/09/12(Wed)09:45 No.19039453
    Take Calliban.
Keep Jacobi and Myers in the party for now.
