    (WITH THE HELP OF KYOJI!)

Bloody Mary screams in incoherent rage and charges at you, drawing a large... beam saber? Since when can Zeon suits use beam weapo-

You barely manage to block the saber with your own as she brings it down at you, intent on erasing you from existence. The new Gundam flies around, shooting the Zeon suit in the back. Mary curses as she falls, backpedaling. "THIS ISN'T OVER, SHANNON!" she screams. The sand around her roils and crashes in waves, coming up even to meet you. When it comes down, she's gone.

    WHAT DO YOU DO?

You go down to the Goufs, or what's left of them. Just a bunch of scrap.

YOU GOT 5 TONS OF SCRAP!

Upon return to the ship, you can see that it held up remarkably well, the good news being that only the catapult damaged. The bad news is that the catapult is damaged. Diez and Lister, who piloted the Ground Type and the GMDam respectively, both let out a low whistle as they see the new Gundam.

"Who's piloting that one?" Lister asks, clearly interested. You hop out of the Prototype and try and open up the new one. It opens at your touch, revealing an empty cockpit.

Examine it and attempt to activate it. We should determine if it's a Daemonball-type strange unit or just a normal Gundam. Make sure to search the whole cockpit for things of interest.

You get in the cockpit, and start fiddling around. The controls appear to be exactly the same as the prototype. Taking a few steps, however, reveals that it's got a bit more power under the hood- A surprising fact, considering the Prototype's already impressive specs. Nothing supernatural about it, though... You keep looking for 5 more minutes, and come away empty-handed. Hopping down, you walk back to Lister and Diez. "It must have been on autopilot or something," you say, guilelessly. Lister raises an eyebrow, but says nothing. Diez, on the other hand, is flabbergasted.

"That thing outpiloted all of us on AUTOPILOT?" he mutters. "The hell is that thing- For that matter, where the hell did it come from?"

Shannon, however, is the main character, and also a newtype. Both of those are pluses in gundam-verse. I'm also going to assume we've got the version ori's shown, which has magnetic coated joints and connection points for upgrades. I'm thinking not only will Lister not be able to control the 7th gundam effectively, but we might also be able to put a bit control array on it and turn it into a real "newtype weapon".

Shannon may not be the best pilot in our lineup, but she's the only one that can ever hope to use the new suit to its maximum potential. And I'd rather have him find out sooner rather than later how out-of-control the thing is, so that he doesn't get himself killed when it surprises him on the battlefield.

To that end, I'd like to suggest an in-depth rundown on the new suit's design. It probably would have been prudent in-game anyway. It did, after all, materialize and fly itself.
