You should be on the cart pretending to be a normal chest. that way if the caravan is attacked they'll ignore you until they decide to grab you, at which point you slit their throats which would be exposed when they try to lift you.

Also? Having an OBVIOUSLY MAGICAL chest is just going to make you a bigger target. You're not even terrifying to behold like a Sapient Pearwood chest!

Where's Silver? She should be inside you so she can jump out at attackers. Then they'll be all "THIS CHEST IS VOMITING SOLDIERS AT US! RUN THE FUCK AWAY!"

Demons feed off of emotion. As a mimic I don't really get much emotion other then shock or anger so most of my diet is souls. I don't 'need' them to live but it does make me strong. A few hundred more and maybe I can be something other then a mimic.
