    It's only Turn 16, and the Titans have dropped you in the hot seat! Earlier in the turn your subordinates engaged in battle against two hundred mixed veteran infantry coming up the road toward your capital, and managed to win. Given that for all of them it was either their first time in a pitched battle or first time coordinating with ground forces mistakes were made and experiences were hard won, but ultimately your forces proved themselves victorious and wiped out the entire Khanate forces, though not before they fired off a signal of some sort.

    While the survivors pick up after their own dead, you make your way back to the capital to get a handle on things.

    You begin, on your way back, to feel a strange buzzing beginning in your head, like something is trying to get your attention. When you focus on it the world darkens and goes blurry, and you find yourself floating in some odd sort of suit in a black room. What appears to be some sort of luminescent secretary in a blue uniform sits nearby, and you realize after a moment that it's an Archon, an elite Knight-Class unit.

    The idea is to have the enemy stacks in a road (yellow), we veil the actual path (blue) with our foolamancer to look like a swamp (purple), and a swamp hex to look like a road (orange), then we use a weirdamancer to give that unit the swamp-cappable tag, then we use a thinkamancer to make that unit think nothing of how they gained the tag and to think it's a good idea to use their new gained abilities to move through the swamp, then our weirdamncer removes the tag and BAM! Now all their stats are reduce to 0, including move. There's not a way for them to go out of the hex by themselves, though they could mount on some flyers to get out of there. But think about it even a lowly unit of slashers would make minced meat out of them. TM already said this tactic is viable, though we need a thinkamancer for it to work.

Now, that stack is accompanying the strongest forces of the Khan, they're not neccesarily the same, we need info from Charlie about that. If they're not that tactic will be useful, even if we don't use it agains the Khan forces it will be there for later.

    This is their main force. This isn't a caravan, it's their elite air force that they use to swoop in and pop all their armies right on the spot with. They are a reference to Mongolian raiders of the past, think of how powerful a cavalry they had, that's this group. We need all the help we can get which is out swamp, not moving our main force out hexes away from the capitol like a raid would do. That's serving us up on a silver platter. That what the previous armies have done and died with larger forces than us.

Much larger sides than us have tried that and lost to their amazing air force blitz and huge numbers of cheap troops popped right where they need them. The only way we can surrvive this is by being a rock against the waves. Our swamp cuts half their advantage of huge numbers. It funnels them in along the road right where we can turn it into a meat grinder. We need archers and shitloads of archers to stop their airforce. We want them to attack our captiol.     I have a proposition.

    A three stage ambush. We set up a ring of archer stacks in the swamp, where we susspect the Khan will go. We set up another ring inside the ring(sup dog), also including Daemons.

    We don't attack as they pass through. At least, assuming we get our turn first. Once we start our turn, we lead a large force into the Khan's hex, dance fighting and being as flashy as possible. Archers sneak in below in the swamps and target the mounts. The MOUNTS, particularly the lesser mounts. Soften the Dwagons up if possible, but the focus is on the lesser mounts of the Khans guard. Croak them, and they can't move.

    Khan will of course try to get the fuck out his turn(our attacking force will withdraw from the hex before we take too much damage, they're are chiefly for a distraction)

    When he tries to run, he'll run face first into our archer stacks, who should more or less be safe on the ground. And after that, he'll run into ANOTHER stack/s of archers when he tries to flee even further.

    Even if Khan survives himself, his forces will be battered and broken, with luck, he'll even be isolated when our next turn comes up, allowing as to finish him off.

    guys we have 80 hexes of road they have to pass down when they bring their army to us. That's 80 hexes they have to move over that are surrounded by swamp and we can fire archer volleys from. A piker moves 10 hexes a turn. That's a lot of volleys that we can't even be attacked from. Any ground army is toast, we have to build up the demons for air battle and get more archers come time. they were 180-220 hexes away and now they are 150.
