The Mob dutifully takes the jeep, while the LARPers use the fallen Tripod for cover.

Hoping to avoid the Samurai's blade, the Alien climbs a nearby tree!

Instead of the usual laser nonsense, the Alien fires a signal beam! With any luck, backup will arrive soon...

The Evil Scientist pops off her rocket launcher.

Both officers are blasted back! The Futuricar is basically totalled.

A Traitoroid pierces Sheriff Beardly with his laser! Officer down!

It is at this moment that the Archer's arm is blasted to smithereens. The hell is a smithereen, anyway?

A.D.U. TURN blah blah

Having recovered from their brief terror, the A.D.U. boys get into battle positions! A Turret Droid is air-dropped for extra firepower, and barricades are quickly set up for cover.

A Burning ember. Specifically, a small burning ember. Typically found in a fireplace or a smithy's forge.

The entire force lets loose with a blinding barrage of lasers, bullets, and laser-bullets - yet they all bounce off the brutal, bony behemoth! At the very least, its turn is pushed back.

As the Eagle chopper-droid circles around the back, however, one of the guns gets lucky - knocking off one of the Skelecron's five heads! Perhaps the creature can be killed after all…

ALIENS TURN ( >1)

The Traitoroids continue their battle - one gets a lucky shot and overloads Farmer Bob's ray guns!

The power cells decompress explosively! Yikes!

"Oh gawd - my hands! I CAN'T FEEL MY HANDS! Just a searing, nerve, wracking pain! This is the worst day of my life!"

"Look on the bright side, champ… at least you don't have space cancer. Probably."

Another Traitoroid blast hits the engine of the Jeep! The Angry Mob scatters as the internal combustion engine goes external!

The cowardly Alien leaps onto the SWAT van as he continues his game of keep-away-from-the-crazy-weaboo.

The Swordsman charges into battle to keep the Traitoroids away from his wounded comrades, but fails to strike any killing blows. Forsooth!

"YOU ROBOTS BAD PEOPERR! I SHOOT TO KIRR NOW!"
Both Matsumoto and the Traitoroid miss terribly… at point-blank range. If it wasn't so funny, it'd almost be tragic.

The Evil Scientist, her rocket spent, jacks the Alien Transport and overs menacingly towards the helpless civilians.

"Yes - flee before the power of SCIENCE!"

POLICE AND LARPERS TURN AGAIN WOW

Unfortunately, her joyride is short-lived as the Police Droids wreck the ships' frail undercarriage.

Meanwhile, the tree has burnt to an unrecognizable pile of ash. Convenient!

Giving up on his elusive quarry, the Samurai bravely drives between the Skelecron's legs in a cunning distraction maneuver!

The Dwarf trots towards the giant menace as fast as his stubby legs will take him.

"Huff...huff... stupid... armor..."

The SWAT officer lends some much-needed support, and takes down one of the Traitoroids with his shotgun!

SKELECRON TURN RAARRRGHARGHRHG
With a cleaving blow, the Skelecron sunders the earth beside the Samurai's buggy, sending it out of control!

The Samurai crashes in the ash-pile.

Having dealt with the pest, the Skelecron decides to deal with the little gun-men…

…by cleaving the decorative pavilion, knocking over the A.D.U. troops and their laser truck!

A.D.U TURN, I THINK
As the battle robots lay down suppressing fire and the foot soldiers struggle to get up, the Eagle strikes from behind, knocking off another head!

The A.D.U. Van uses its UFO Jammer to try to stun the Skelecron.

Success! The creature writhes under the confusing cacophony of radio waves! However, this also angers the monster - its chest-head seethes with flame as its fire breath begins to recharge!

ALIENS TURN, YEP

A Traitoroid avenges its fallen comrade by blasting the SWAT officer!

Meanwhile, the fleeing Alien finally makes it off the map. Maybe he'll move to Mexico and set up shop selling tiny plastic bricks online… anything's better than getting shot at by the police!

POLICE/LARPERS TURN

Farmer Bob manages to open the jailhouse with his teeth and crawls in on his charred stumps. His day got real grimdark, real fast.

The Dwarf valiantly attacks the Skelecron's ankle!… to absolutely no effect. Great.

Recovering from his fall, the Samurai attempts to climb the Skelecron's leg. Go, Samurai, go!

The Swordsman disarms the last Traitoroid with a swing of his mighty sword!

(wait, wasn't there one more? Whatever. It exploded or something. This shit's confusing.)

The surviving SWAT officer pins the Evil Scientist.
"You're under arrest for carjacking, reckless driving, destruction of police property, illegal robotics, carrying explosives without a permit, conspiracy to commit world domination, and, uh… did I forget anything?"

"Ooooh, you're being awfully rough. I have been a bad girl, haven't I?"

"Don't flatter yourself, lady, or I'll add sexual harassment to the list."

The Police Droids march stalwartly on - with no small amount of debris in their way. Honestly, the Police Droids really weren't designed for this kind of shit.

"Ms. Scientist, before you're hauled off to prison, may I ask - why did you do it?"
"Well, you know. Power, fame, alien foot massages. The usual temptations."

SKELECRON TURN, SMAAAAASH

Having quickly grown tired of the Samurai's comeuppance, the Skelecron grabs him from off his leg…

…and brutally throws him into the ATM! Thank goodness for armor. Still, the Samurai's not getting up after that one.

The Skelecron rears back, as if taking a deep breath…

…and lets loose a hellish heat-wave at the A.D.U. van! Fortunately, the van is not only fireproof, but is covered by a generous insurance policy.

A.D.U. TURN - GATTAI!

Gunning the engine, the Van charges forward, catching the Skelecron off balance!

The monster falls flat on its back! Sergeant Oldman opens the cockpit to attack the monster up-close and personal!

"DAG-FLABBITY-NABBIT DANG NANG RASSUM FRASSUM NO-GOOD BONY PILE OF PATOOTIE!"

Who knew an old bugger with arthritis had such a fast trigger finger? Two of the Skelecron's heads are blown to bits!

Not one to be taken down so lightly, the Skelecron tosses Oldman off and rumbles angrily…

…Only to be silenced by the combined firepower of the A.D.U. attack force. Ouch.

Its heads all shattered, the Skelecron crumbles! The A.D.U. has saved the day!

The rookies pose in front of their kill for a photo op.
"Yea, I wasn't scared one bit - I knew we'd take that skeletal sucker down no problem! I didn't even wet myself! Not at all. Dry as a desert."
