!3QUDPTn2Js 01/25/12(Wed)05:44 No.17668018>>17667940 Axel blinked as his radio buzzed with Iceheart's question. The Lieutenant didn't really talk to them all that much, mostly just barking orders or whatnot. However, she was a tanker like them, and not batshit crazy like those Iron Skull pilots, so he supposed there should be some solidarity among them.
"Aaaah, we're fine in here. Cold as a Royal's heart but nothing too serious." Axel quickly glanced at the tank's control panel to make sure everything was running smoothly. "Alfie, how about you?"
Even though the undead and the Aeon were long gone, Alfie was still curled up in the gunner's seat, like a hermit crab withdrawing into its shell for protection. Without raising her head, she only nodded her head with the slightest of movement.
"Yeah, all that undead crap really startled her for a second there, but we'll pull through." Axel continued. However, he couldn't keep a bit of uncertainty from creeping into his voice. If necromancy was going to become a regular thing in this unit, Alfie would need to learn how to deal with it, and fast, lest she risk ending up on the wrong end of an officer's pistol. |
