You are a little female jumping spider named Bibi living inside a turned over can in a shed with your mate Dorpou and your sack of eggs. In the last session you started collecting materials for your project to make a wheeled cart. During this, you also invented and built two slingshots armed with pebbles, and a bola. Your mate also discovered an actual wheel, saving you for the trouble of making one yourself. He also informed you of the place he found it, and you two planned to go and investigate the far end of the shed for more of them. Unfortunately, it was already dark and you and Dorpou went to sleep.

In the early morning however your bucket was assaulted by a ravenous centipede, which you slew with the aid of your bola and the slingshots. You spent the morning harvesting and storing away anything useful from the corpse, such as food, multiple pairs of legs, chitinous plates and it's mandibles.
Cleaning up the bloody mes left proved however extremely tiring and you two went for a little nap.

It is midday now, you and your mate are sitting in your net, pondering what you shall do next.

    >How this works.
Suggest an action and then depending how feasible it is, the spider will act.

You are just an ordinary spider in moder day earth. You have no special powers, other than your intellect.

Making silk costs proteins, which you can restore by eating. Your mate has his own protein reserves.

You can upgrade your nest with silk.Your nest currently has the following improvements:
    >Hunting lines.
    >Egg chamber.
    >Hiding place.
    >Food storage.
    >Secondary storage.
    >Two slingshots near the entrance.
    >Warning net over the entrance of the bucket, that will send vibrations yo your nest if something walks over it.

You also already though up an use for the armor plates that you got from the centipede. Though shaping the hard chitin plates to work as spider armor can be difficult.

    >>17454261
The danger of the great long beast being dealt with, the shed should indeed be safer, but what exactly do you wish to investigate?

Check the wood bits for their potential as a silk string guitar.

We could also investigate its lair, which was the location of our first misadventure.

Double check Dorpou's spinnerets for any naughtiness sake.

You tell her about what happened after you left from the can, and how you are here now with Dorpou, your mate, to search for the nest of the Great Long One, which you recently killed, and to greet her and ask how she is doing.

"Dorpou? That was what my sister was going to name one of her spawn! Don't you say that you have hooked up with your cousin! And what did I teach you about lying? How in the world could you have defeated the Worm when no one of us adults could? And thank you very much, I am okay, and so are your siblings, now shoo off! There isn't enough prey for all of us on this table!"

You are quite shocked after that storm of verbal abuse.

You move closer to Dorpou to calm him, which works somewhat.

You try to explain her that you just wanted to say hello and tell her that the centipede is dead, and if she ever wants to come and visit she is welcome to do so.
Also you question her assumption of you and Dorpou being related, but she cuts short.

"Well isn't that nice and all, but even assuming that you aren't lying and the centipede is dead, it won't matter much to me. It hunts different prey than I and it can't fit inside the can, so my young won't be threatened.

After informing your mother that your clan would rise to unparalleled greatness, no matter if she likes it or not, you return to your can with Dorpou and Isaac.

The can is still stained with the blood of the Great Long One.

You begin rolling the wheels bag to your nest. You carry one on your back, so that you don't need to do the trip twice. This is however quite laborious, thus your energy is when you reach the bucket only at 2/5 and Dorpou's energy is 3/5

We don't need to hunt now. Even if we eat a bit the storage will still be nearly full. We should use the time to craft things or search for tools. Hunting for surplus food if we already have more then enough isn't a good way to spend our time. Even cuddling with Dorpuu and Isaac to bond the little thing some more would be a better idea I think.

You start working on the chitin plates. The pebbles work great for cracking and breaking the chitin, but for shaping it, you need to find or make something sharp. Something you can cut with.

You also tell Dorpou that you two should make more slingshots.
"Why, there is only the two of us, making more of them would be useless, as only two of them could be used. Maybe when our children are old enough to operate one. Besides, we are starting to run low on wood. Making the supports for this storage consumed lots of it."

Well, it is a bit of both but mostly done on the fly.
You guys never take the path I predict you to take, so I'll have to constantly improvise.

The whole thing with the mother and finding Isaac wasn't planned at all. I just thought that if the pipe was empty, it would be kinda of a letdown.
Though I predicted that if I would present a baby centipede, you guys would most likely adopt it.
The second centipede encounter wasn't originally supposed to happen at all like the way it did, and in fact, the original plan for this quest didn't even involve Dorpou. I thought that you would try to escape the centipede to the outside world, but you instead chose the floor. Derailed this completely, but I honestly don't mind at all.
