As of last thread we were busy getting dating advise from our Uncle about the crazy broad who was trying to kill us.

"She married some schmuck in her clan...some guy who doesn't treat her properly and doesn't respect her for her power. She's a housewife, I think..." The man says with a sigh. "Don't make my mistakes boy."
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:02 No.16987501

"Uncle, I thank you for taking time to impart your knowledge to me, you have my word that no dishonour will befoul your name from my lips."

(That seems to be all the useful information we'll get out of him, methinks. Time to make an exit unless someone else has another question?)
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:04 No.16987512
So now we have two potential waifus. the crazy uchiha chick who will likely try to kill us if we fuck up around her or step out of her "white knight" vision of us, and the Earth girl who we know little about right now, but we stay away from for fear that Inari will kill her.
    >> KumaSennin !!hAxKShXKS9j 11/22/11(Tue)02:05 No.16987518
Don't you guys not trust Momoji to handle herself?
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:09 No.16987536
Hm, you know, now that I think about it, we might just be overestimating Inari a little bit. She's so good at shutting us down because of the other Hyuuga's shes captured. she might have some trouble with a non-Hyuuga shinobi.
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:09 No.16987538

Are we still on the extended mission?

Might be a good idea to swing by the earth kingdom if the treaty is already completed. Should pay a visit to the guy we saved and make more contacts among them.

Gives us a cover to see Momoji as well while we're there.
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:09 No.16987539
I ain't even worried. I'm just waiting for team Shingen, Inari, Momoji, and Honda. Wreck everyone's shit all the time.
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:11 No.16987543

I guess the potential problem is what happens if we spurn her wrongly. Imagine what she could do with that info if she really wanted to hurt us/the clan.
    >> KumaSennin !!hAxKShXKS9j 11/22/11(Tue)02:11 No.16987544
You saved someone from the Land of Wind. Earth and Fire are still in negative diplomatic situations. If you wanted to get in touch with her you'd have to call her out.

    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:13 No.16987556

Ah, my bad. Sidetrip to the Land of Wind might be a good idea.

If we're heading there, we might want to speak to the patriarch if he has any missives he might wish to send. Might as well turn it into an official diplomatic mission.
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:17 No.16987587
I'd say that before we head ANYWHERE, we should at the very least clear out SOME of the riff-raff. Our initial goal here was to get rid of the less lawful members of the land of fire, let's get started on that before attempting other things.

As you clean up the bandits, going far and wide to break them apart, you finally hear of the red-haired giant. He is on the southern part of the country, near the Land of Tea. He is said to be coming off an injury, so he's getting some rest, but he's in good fighting condition. You could probably catch him. Interested?
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:22 No.16987622

Hes the one who was hunting bandits right?

What are our relations with the Tea? Should go and see him.
    >> KumaSennin !!hAxKShXKS9j 11/22/11(Tue)02:25 No.16987638
The Tea is a large empty country with a ton of fields, not really that important. They are neutral, but meaningless.

You head towards the Tea Country and in short order you find the inn where he's staying. Outside the door you see three of his massive spears with a heavy chain around the shaft of each of them.
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)02:28 No.16987658

    Whatever happened to the spear?

    Are we still lugging it?

Did it have one of the chains on it that these have?
    >> KumaSennin !!hAxKShXKS9j 11/22/11(Tue)02:50 No.16987756
There wasn't a chain, but there was a broken loop, he had probably thrown it and snapped it from its chain, which is horrific in and of itself.

The man in question is about seven feet tall with a tall shock of red hair. He's sitting in the bar room and drinking at the bar. A pile of snapped wood is next to him, a broken chair or two, and the bartender cowers in terror from this giant.

Will they not hear? What, ho! you men, you beasts
That quench the fire of your pernicious rage
With purple fountains issuing from your veins,
On pain of torture, from those bloody hands
Throw your mistemper'd weapons to the ground,
And hear the sentence of your moved prince.
Three civil brawls, bred of an airy word,
By thee, old Capulet, and Montague,
Have thrice disturb'd the quiet of our streets,
    And made Verona's ancient citizens
Cast by their grave beseeming ornaments,
To wield old partisans, in hands as old,
    Canker'd with peace, to part your canker'd hate;
If ever you disturb our streets again,
Your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace.
For this time, all the rest depart away:
You Capulet; shall go along with me:
And, Montague, come you this afternoon,
To know our further pleasure in this case,
To old Free-town, our common judgment-place.

One of your shuriken finds nothing but wood, but the other two hit flesh with a sickly sound of metal slicing flesh as it embeds itself into the neck of a bandit, who cries out and tumbles to the ground, dead before he hits the ground.

The bandits fire a barrage of arrows at your large friend who gets hit again and again with a grunt. However, one sets him off for some reason and he snarls, black hard chitinous material creeping along his thick arms, and he howls out in anger, laughing at the same time. His right arm is now tipped with a massive clawed hand and he jumps easily ten feet into the air and rends a bandit clean in half with his claw, catching the tree and pulling himself up. You scale a tree quickly and thrust a finger forward, hitting the man's neck and causing his entire chakra system to be blown apart by your Gentle Fist. He collapses with a trickle of blood at his lips.

Bandit after bandit swings at you with their clubs and blades, but you weave around them effortlessly, finger-thrusting some of them in the neck when they get too close.

Your comrade continues on his path of murder and soon all the bandits are dead around him as he turns to face you, his eyes hysterical as he laughs and begins to shake, trying to control his fury. You can see his chakra system is raging out of control, but you see a single chakra node where his chakra is most potent, perhaps shutting it down would cease his bloodlust.

The Senjuu have no formal power to force the Hyuuga to war. None whatsoever.

However, they can strongly request that their cousins come with them to battle, if they so choose. They could, however, just leave the fight to themselves.

From what you gather the impending war seems to be coming mostly from Uchiha and Senjuu being pitted as foils against one another so frequently it has become almost an unspoken war, and Tobirama has urged his brother to move the Clan to end the conflict.

You are escorted outside of the complex when Hashirama begins to speak to everyone. Standing outside you sense a chakra inbound fast to you. When you turn to face it you hear, "Fuyo-Style: Earthen Embrace Jutsu!" Strong tanned arms grip you and hug you tightly, picking you up off the ground with ease before the warm smell of cedar and honey reaches your nose, and you hear the familiar laugh of Momoji, "Why haven't you come and seen me? "Good." She says simply and eventually as you walk she settles more close to your elbow, but whenever you look you receive a bop on the arm. Your shoulder is pretty sore by the time you get to the restaurant.

When you arrive you can see why it's so expensive, everything is made right in front of you with the freshest ingredients and tastes amazing. The meal goes on for about an hour and you can tell from the way she eats, the way she talks to you, and how she sits, that she clearly has some professional upbringing. She's possibly a Noble Clan, like yours, but close to the top.

After the meal she takes you to a bar where the two of you sit down in a private booth and she starts drinking. Whatever appearance of nobility she had in public is gone now. She throws drink after drink down the hatch and winds up finishing her second sake bottle by the time you have a quarter left in her first. She grins widely at the end of it all as she shakes her head, "You know, you're alright Shingen, I like you. But you knew that." He points you at an area in the distance, but something troubles you about the spear. You look again, it's not explosive tags. It's an imprint from such a strong application of chakra in that shape. Using your massive genius you figure out that it was feet, using chakra to grip to the wood, but done clumsily, so much so that the wood is warped from the area. "The woman." He notes, pointing at the spear, "Haven't missed in a while."

You bound off in the direction he indicated, finding a small trail of blood which dies off after a few hundred feet. You scan the area but, as usual, find nothing of note. She's slipped away from you again.

Head back, we should get Jako into a the hands of a medical expert. Retrieve any spears for him and then go see if we can speak to the Senju brothers. They are after all the reason why we've come here.

    Dammit, she got away again.
We need to better be able to track her.

Anyone got any ideas on how to track her down?
Otherwise, I suppose we should go back to Jako, and try to identify the shinobi that attacked him.

Bleh. Figures we can't catch her. I guess see if we can find out anything about the other two shinobi Jako killed. Might be worth warning Momoji now though.

Check the bodies then and then check Momoji. She's strong enough to handle herself but we should check on her just in case. hell we have the chakra let's shunshin around like a mofo.
