    Whenever you make a new thread, be sure to start with an update of some kind. This what most quests do and it gives a good point to launch the quest. Otherwise people need to read the last thread again.

    The idea is to Show the warriors, Chosen and one Ranger band as the only army.
    The enemy, seeing our weaker army will charge over the river to meet us and when they are half-way across our ambush will be sprung and they will be attacked from all sides, leaving none alive!

    Enemy militia ranks charged at your trained, northren well equipped soldiers after just passing a stream. Yeah it was idiotic. You soldiers just countercharged after enemy ranks just stepped out from the river.

    You charge into swordsmen ranks. Bjorn at your side you two descend upon the enemy like an iron hammer. Quickly putting your sword to work you disembowel first enemy and behead the second while Bjorn cleaves another into two. Soon corpses of enemy soldiers make up small hills which you climb atop on continue to fight. Still you are getting tired and recieving some fresh wounds.

    Okay, here is the deal:

    The knights seem to be unwilling to move, so we prepare to send raiders against them and one Berserkers.

    Our Main line will make fighting, slow retreat, assembling in such a way that when the berserkers rush out of the forest, most of the enemy Army will be right infront of them.

    The chose from the left-most warband must evenly protect our rangers and fight the swrodsmen, a warrior warband will assist them in this.

    Razsgath looks at the battle unfolding before him. He feels his blood burning. He wants to be there, in the thick of fight. Crusing and battering his enemies, tearing them limb from limb. He waits in excitement. When the horn who is signal for them to cahrge echoes in forest his heart skips a beat. Raising his axes high he roars jumps out of the forest ready to yell his battle.....     You know. A farmers life is boring one. With nothing good in it, just hardships and misfortunes. And when your intolerable life just goes bullshit in a morning suddenly a life in the army can seemd to be a good exit. Especially when you are in archer battalions. You travel around, get paid at least for your efforts, have better meals than farmers and you dont have to get blood on your uniform most of the times. At least that was what Jonas though until he saw 100 half naked barbarian rushing out from the forest headed straight for them. Not the mention also being used as target practice as barbarian archers. He looked at the oncoming berserkers.

    -Wow. This sucks.

    Was all he could manage before one of the berserkers slammed into him, knocking him out but not killing him outright. İt was by some strange luck Jonas would live to see another day. Other archers... Probably not.

    so the berserkers move a little bit near the river to lure the knights.
    The rangers move near the river to shoot the knights.
    The raiders move to flank the Knights.
    The final berserker warband moves to attack the knights.

    The rest can also assist the attack on the knights.

    Use the raiders to take out as many of the retreating enemy as possible (with the exception of the heavy cavalry) and the bezserkers that the cavalry are charging at go into a loose square formation and let the cavalry get through the side they charge into, then they all close up and hack them to bits. Failing that could the bezserkers retreat back over the river without being caught by the cavalry?

    Well knights change their direction when they see berserkers trying to cut off the escape of routing militia Quickly they turn back to attack berserker who just came out from the woods. Their presence seem to somehow rally the militia too. Knights and militia slammed into berkserkers. Berserkerrs fought like lions. Bringing many down but eventually they were cut down. Only 7 survived of 50. But fortunes turned once more when Johan and her raiders come to the aid of berserkers.
