Undoubtedly you have seen on the news or heard over a transistor radio that as of yesterday the great nations of the Hegemony have been once again thrust into the perilous flames of war. The Collectivists seek to steal from us the very freedoms we fought them so hard to obtain and maintain and, for the third time, we have been called to defend.
I would like to personally re-assure you that although the road ahead will be difficult, the sacrifices every citizen of our great Hegemony will have to make will be arduous and the task of bringing the Collectivists to heel and safeguarding our peace, prosperity and way of life is daunting the hegemony will win through. Even now our highly trained Hegemony forces are being deployed in strategic locations across the globe. Battles are already being won for the Hegemony and, though the Collectivist sneak attacks did take our armed forces by surprise, the Collectivists are already on the back foot.
Finally, I would like to reiterate the cornerstone of Hegemony warfare doctrine:
We will never strike first with nuclear, chemical or biological weapons. Rest peacefully in the knowledge that the Hegemony will do everything in its power to prevent the use of weapons of mass destruction.
