Well, we got more gangsta than weeaboo it seems. So yeah, we loot Tau guns, modify it, and then send some Flash Gitz to do a taktikhul driveby on them blueskinz. Sometimes we wear some of their yellow armor as bling bling on chains; but more often we wear black. We got a whole lot of painboyz to graft all the bling we get into our skin and teef sometimes, to scare the enemy away.

Anyone remember one of the last decent White Dwarf issues that showcased some guy's Grey Orks? Those were about the only good custom ork faction I've seen.

I think the problem with trying to make your own style Ork faction is that Orks are already crazy unpredictable comic relief, so it's not easy to make them stand out.

Okay, so we are da Foightin' Boyz, a gangsta/yakuza themed Ork WAAAAGGGGHHH with a lot of teef. I'm picturing Orks using Tau armor as bling, and get themselves tattooed with tigersquigs on their back, respect 'tradition', and drivebys on Trukks modified to look like a Mustang. Sometimes their Nobs wear pretty black suits and wield long Knoifes dey call 'Cutty-noives' (katanas), maybe this is after fighting against the Rising Sons. Lots of Doks to graft bling on their skin or teef. And still they have dispute over who's best, Gork or Mork.
All we need now is some writefags and drawfags! Feel free to discuss the rules part of the fluff, or expand on the fluff. It's late where I am... Keep da good work, boyz!

hm.. i have an idea for their origin.

Could it be posible that a massive WAAAHG could take over a hive planet (thats how the planetside cities are called, right?) and after taking over they decided to spare the lives of the humans inside, not for compasion, but to manage the biggest loot an ork could manage to get, an entire city planet? After they spread all over the hive planet, they start to split in different "families", all of them following a top don/oyabun/whatever, but at the same time fighting against eachother to take over terrain and position in the clan.

So far, reading the thread, I like the idea of Waaaniki nobs, our clan taking over a hive planet, and the name Waaagh Tang Klan. Also on 'trading' with Dark Eldar, what about we trade some of the hive populace for gear and bitz? Maybe we also deal with Freebootaz?
We also need special characters and stuff like that. Also, we need to fluff out their conflicts with the Tau and IoM; Maybe we view them as coppers? I'm picturing the Tau like the Japanese police and the IoM like American police... and we're the criminal element.

Most Doks and some Warbosses usually play a game called 'Galf' in the lulls between waaaghs, picked up from the former elites of the hives they now control. It involves using a special crooked stick (the 'Galf-stikk') to hit a 'Galf-ball', in the hopes the Galf-ball hit some git's head squarely and knock the git out. The Galf-ball can be anything from an albino Squig, some unlucky grot painted white, or even skulls, as long as it's round-shaped and white in color. Sometimes, the Galf-stikk is enchanched with rocket addons, but most Orks prefer using ordinary, un-rocketed Galf-stikks.
