Lessee, the things on the to do list:

    >"Punish" Blaze: unchecked
    >Talk to King (maybe shoot him/thumb removal?): unchecked
    >Talk about NCA's: unchecked
    >Tally current point total: unchecked

About NCA's: if you haven't done them, focus on gathering resources or fixing the naval battle in our favor.

On that note, if I recall what Orbital told me correctly, the Algorhyme mission was a success, giving us 100 points, and Blaze's NCA got us 30.

Soap/Grey's from a while back did something that might have created a gravity well; not sure how that works but I'm not complaining.

    Oh, right.

So now that we dealt a blow to the Makarian fleet, are we going to focus on fortifying the planet or gather resources to rebuild our fleet?

Thing is, we don't want the Maks to get into low orbit. Maks in low orbit = insta-death.

So we want to deal with them before they get there, in their own domain.

Hence the necessity to skew the battle in our favor as much as possible.

On that note, I REALLY ought to have Walker have a nice little "chat" with King concerning his traitorous acts.

Could we start construction on kill-sats? I mean we could devote some production into them and basically set up a fall back position for our Navy.

Striding through dimly lit hallways a lone figure made his way through the cold damp catacombs. The environment was designed to put the xeno’s at ease in the hopes that it would keep them “calm”. As if the xenos knew the meaning of unease, Soap had been in their psyche’s many times, he knew first hand how alien a concept that was to them. Continuing his journey he found himself musing how mechanical their thinking was, even more so than certain artificial beings he knew. Taking a seemingly random turn Soap moved to a large and heavily barred door. The door was heavily locked and guarded only by a small key console. He had to laugh as he hacked his way into opening the door. It was a clever measure used to prevent unauthorized entry, the console had no password and the only way in was to break the constantly changing encryption. It was an easy feat to do if you designed the software. Within the guarded enclosure lay a beast of horrific design, his pride and joy.

It was chained with extreme caution; apparently the Xeno command still didn’t trust it. Pointless precautions, Zorak wouldn’t hurt a fly unless Soap commanded it too, but maybe it was him that command didn’t trust. The creature had been augmented with salvage tech from the battlefield. This made it more armored but required Nike’s full attention to operate. The Ai’ had to devote herself completely to bridge the Xeno’s organic mind with its synthetic enhancement. Basically Zorak could operate as long as Soap could be seen. As Soap went over the hibernating Zorak’s vitals He hoped to slowly get the xeno accepted by domino’s hoard and have Abbadon take over Nike’s duty, giving the Xeno a second chance. After he had been brain washed by command Soap questions his own justification to do the same. When he used the Mantis to kill its own kind he was reminded of what the inquisition could have commanded him to do. In the dying eyes of the alien he saw what he was in their eyes, an expendable resource having no more value that a spent bullet at the end of the day. He saved Zorak because he wanted to prove to himself he was better than those bastards that at least he had shred of compassion left.

    >Oh, all right, might as well do this anyway.

Walker had monitored the naval battle, and was not impressed - indeed, he was far from it. It took him five minutes of forcefully-slow breathing to calm himself to a point that shooting someone wasn't the first thing that he wanted to do. It took him another five to realize that the entire command room had gone silent from watching him, and that he had gripped the arms of his chair so hard that not only were his fingernails bleeding, but that there were marks left in the material.

For the umpteenth time, Walker closed his eyes, counted to ten, and slowly exhaled. He drew a cigar, cut the tip and lit it, but refrained from actually smoking it, holding the burning cigar before his lips. After what seemed like an eternity to the command crew, he finally decided it was time to take a deep drag from his cigar.

Hopefully to calm his nerves and the "impulsive Walker" from shooting someone or something.

Walker, after several minutes of doing virtually nothing, suddenly stood up. Briskly walking to Fierstrom's office, Walker stopped to snuff out his cigar in his palm, before addressing the aged Inquisitor.

"Excuse me, Inquisitor Fierstrom. If you would be so kind, would it be permissible for the two of us to speak?"

Walker glanced to the side to see Adoria, as well as Fierstrom's personal retinue of female riot knights.

    "In private?"

    >Because Walker's hot-headed, and should probably talk to his boss before he goes and shoots a ranking officer. Don't worry Blaze, I'll deal with you (eventually).

"You're red, Walker." The inquisitor remarks." have a seat but don't try to throw it. "

She glances at Shilba and Ferren, the two silver haired custodians left the room with a routine crouch under the door's arch. Their looming shadows passing over Walker as a warning of what they were capable of with body size alone.

Fierstrom looked out at the vidwindows. In her line of sight was the Mothership the Leviathan was being "penned" in. It was like an aquarium to her now, when decades ago she remembered it drifting in the black capable of destroying any one of them in a single instant.

The door shut, the silence between them tensed like a wire.

In a more stable state of mind, Walker would have made a joke about the size of her two custodians. He would have noticed Fierstrom's observance of the Leviathan, and remarked on that too. He also would have made better note of her aged appearance and comment on that as well. If he wasn't so very angry at the moment.

He took a deep breath once again, and sat down, and spent another minute simply trying to formulate a cohesive sentence that didn't start, end, or contain the more colorful words from his vocabulary.

"The battle... what do you take of that... mess? And the... Rear Admiral... what do you make of him?" Walker muttered between gritted teeth.

"You're my boss, after all. It... should be good form to talk before doing something as rash as executing the li-ahem- a CO, no?"

Walker clenched his fists, using the pain of the recent cigar burn to keep himself in check. Somewhere, in the back of his mind, he wondered just how much of his emotional state was being leaked due to his empathic powers.

Whatever it was, it was probably enough that simply looking at his face would make the information redundant.

" Second, should it fall on me to have any hand in the management of your forces... " Her eyes narrowed as if to focus on some distant space no one else could see. " I'm sure that IQ would have me doing soul draining paperwork as a Judicar. "

Without an experienced geneticist on board the feat was a simple cloning game to the techies on board. The flux corruption lead to an over flux of makarians squawking up the incubator room in the brief moments before a kill team swooped in and burned them to death.

Walker's entire mood was thrown off by Fierstrom's comment. So when he heard her addressed as "High Inquisitor," it wasn't him hearing incorrectly. Still, it came as a shock, and it took him several moments to wrap his head around the idea.

Folding his arms, Walker chewed on Fierstrom's words in a clearer state of mind - at the very least, it was not as clouded by anger as it was 30 seconds ago. After several moments of silent contemplation, Walker sighed.

"Well, we can't have that, can we? I dislike having to deal with paperwork at my own level - asking you to take on even more due to my... own personal inadequacies would be unfair, no?"

Walker dryly joked, smiling as he looked to his former boss, the toll of the past weeks and years of combat making themselves known in a weary smile.

"But if it had been me? Ignoring the traitorous act by King, negating weeks of effort to acquire skilled naval mercenaries to assist us in our fight, I suppose I would have divided my forces along the battleships, and fought at a distance. Hit and run tactics: take a crippling shot at a distance, then fall back, and when the Maks move to intercept, hit them again from a different direction."

Walker sighed again, and, removing his hat, ran his hand through his short cropped graying hair.

"What King was planning, I have no idea. While he has so far had an excellent track record prior to this battle, especially considering the forces he's faced each time, the fact still remains that he messed up, bad, nearly crippling us."

Walker stared at the vidwindow displaying the Leviathan, and recalled the naval battle that King commanded. Against a superior force, King managed to hold out, although with casualties.

"And that he betrayed our allies, even if they were pirates... I don't suppose you believe this warrants a death sentence, do you, High Inquisitor?"

    The Algorhymes had gathered.

Soap found himself awed by their presence. Despite all that he encountered while as a member of Bravo nothing could compare the godlike forms of these digital aliens.
They were an impressive race, immortal, vastly intelligent and masters of the digital domain. Soap could still not believe they had agreed to listen to his plea.

“I thank for hearing my request” As he spoke a holographic opera regaled a dramatic retelling of the events.
    .
] Soap had spent much time learning about and from the Algorhymes. They had proven to be more than cold calculating programs. In most respects they were as human as him. They had individuality, had goals and felt all the same emotions. The latter of which Soap was hoping would have them join his cause.

He showed an image of Lost.

“I come asking for aid in recovering an ally of mine.”

Soap crafted a vast battlefield with terrifying renditions of xenos fighting the Valkyrie. The masses fell upon the shining knight like waves unto the shore. Only to be rebuffed each time in a dazzling dance of blades and light.

“She was taken from us in a brutal manner in the midst of a battle.”

Suddenly a dark and shapeless beast grasped the warrior. She struggled in vain as it carried her from her comrades as they desperately reach to save her. The beast let’s loose a blood curdling cry as it disappears in to a tumultuous blood red sea.

“We have tracked to a system but lack the means to recover her.” As he spoke

The view shifted to embellished forms of his allies clawing at fleeting data. Floating numbers gathered into the shape of birds joining together to create the image of the Penevol system.

“It is a hazardous and volatile place and alone we could never hope to succeed.

Soap crafted the valiant but futile charge of him and his allies as they charged into certain doom. They rush into cores of ghoulish wraiths that claw and overcome the warriors. All that remains is the pitiful shapes of the mauled members of Bravo.

“I plead with your sense of justice help us rescue our comrade, give us your aid to avenge this travesty.”

It seemed like forever until the envoy came to him. An Algorhyme known as Percentile came.

“We have decided to aid you and your allies” The Ai bowed its head “When the battle for this planet is finished we will join you.

" On the one hand, you Did invite seasoned.....veterans that make living in the Iron Line feel like Sunday Worship. On the other, they are pirates nonetheless who work off a different set of ideas and ethics. Its one thing that you even managed to get them here at all, it's quite another that you have given a fraction of your trust, and our resources towards funding them. Isn't it the commanders' job to prepare themselves for the ultimate responsibility of dealing with them should things go south ? "

Fierstrom takes out a small wooden box from the drawer and dispenses a sterile white pill into her gloved hands before eating it.

" Now let's consider King's case, headstrong offensive that costed you more than he can chew, applying my former argument, King was inadequate in preparing for the worst case scenario. On top of that, at our worst hour he has gutted a supposed ally in battle before fleeing back with nary a bloodstain on his ship. Shot an ally in the back -who fought alongside your own- and then failed to exterminate them altogether. "

She takes a water cube and let it wash down her mouth before getting up.

" Now I wont question you on which argument is right, in fact this is hardly a tribunal. What is important here is how you as the commander will deal with a band of vengeful and worst of all, formidable outlaws now that they've been pulled to a level where neighborly agreements will not be an option for them anymore. And how killing an otherwise effective Naval commander will solve the former AND get us out of this terrible mess ."

Walker shook his head, chuckling with a weary grin.

"It's as you say it is, Inqui- High Inquisitor. I see it was a good decision to speak to you before running off to plaster King's brains across some bulkhead."

Walker chuckled, finding the situation to be amusing in a sad sense.

"On one hand, he's got a good track record, marred only by this incident. On the other hand, this was a pretty big 'incident,' compounded by illogical actions that is sure to bite us in the ass at a later time, as well as the fact that executing him would mean stripping us of a capable commander in a very desperate hour."

He sighed deeply, now seeming to be talking more to himself and the furniture rather than Fierstrom.

"If he hadn't fired on the Black Flag ship, this would've been so much easier to handle..."

Slowly, Walker stood up, his body aching in protest to all the abuse from a lifetime of soldiering agitated by the activities of the past few weeks.

"Well, I suppose I ought to go find him then, and give him a stern talkin' to, an' all that. Tell him if he messes this one up, that's it for him. Although I guess in that situation, it wouldn't really matter anymore, right High Inquisitor?"

Walker turned to Fierstrom, and gave her a weak smile.

"How strange - wasn't the last time we spoke in your office, our roles were reversed? I don't suppose you're going to slap me, or that I'll start singing, eh, Fierstrom?"

Walker chuckled at the reversal of roles. How far had they come since then, Fierstrom so much more than he had, both in time and distance. Who knew what she had gone through since his Tribunal?

Walker laughed again; the fact that it was hollow was evident to both himself and Fierstrom.

"You know... we lost... Lost... a while back. Dead, gone, just like that; smeared by a rock, her flux stolen right under my nose. And I... couldn't do a damn thing about it. Just like every other time, not a damn thing I could do to stop it. Even if they've got a 'backup' in store, it doesn't mean they don't die. Hell, it just means it's postponed."

Walker removed his TACIM, staring into Fierstrom's eyes.

"With every fight, Bravo-no, I-die, a little bit on the inside. Sure, we get new members, and clones means death isn't always permanent. But... I don't think I can't keep doing this, even if it's the right thing, even if it's my duty. It's killin' me to watch them die, again and again and again. I'm not as strong as people think I am, Fierstrom. I can't keep doing this forever - sooner or later, it's gonna crush me."

"Just... how long, Fierstrom? How long do I need to keep this up before it's decided that I can finally rest? Who is the one who decides when I've been spent, and served my purpose?"

An entire system is a lot of space to search. While he new which system to find Lost in, he had to narrow it down.

To that end, Geist had hired a few private intelligence groups to search for more detailed information about Blackrock and the Penovol system. Station and facility/base locations (whether they be military, civilian, or for research), data concerning who owned and ran Blackrock, who among the Federation or ODF had oversight over them, force composition, communication codes and protocol. Anything they could uncover that he could use to break into the system.

With a grunt, Warsaw pushed himself out of the cryopod and stumbled across the deck, catching himself on a cryopod on the opposite wall. "Good evening, Dr. Warsaw," the lab-tech standing nearby said, her tone pleasant, but curt. Whilst Warsaw stood shivering in an attempt to get some warmth back into his body, the lab-tech gave him a brief overview of recent events. Chief among them the return of the 'dead' boarding party, and the battle with the Makarian fleet. When she finished the lab-tech waited patiently as Warsaw finished acclimatising to his own body. You know, I was planning on using the mission to rescue Lost as an excuse to test out the Makarian warp drive.

Or the other way around; I'm not too sure but it's rather irrelevant.

The idea was that once we finished fighting at Titan, we'd finally have some breathing room, and we'd finally get around to using that warp drive. Now sticking it on the O'Reilly first seems kind of silly, and presumably, we have some scientists reverse-engineering it. So instead, we'd stick it on a Cruiser or something. At this point, we load it up with some guys, you know, "people that Walker trusts," which would obviously include Geist and not Adoria. We could easily justify sending in the ground pounders on the basis of "it's an experimental warp drive, so we need someone competent to protect it." You know, fight off angry Maks or pirates, you get the idea.

Since we're testing the drive, we'd need to pick a system to jump to. Not one that's close, because presumably, we wouldn't be able to tell if the drive worked properly or not. And since we know about the Penavol system, and that it's pretty boring and nothing supposedly goes on there, we'd be all, "well, why not Penavol?"

At that point, we'd contact whoever is in charge of that place (don't want the guards shitting bricks when you drop out on top of their heads, I suppose), and if they ask why we're showing up, we'd just go all Area 51 on them with the whole "classified state secret, citizen" yadda yadda blah.

At that point, it would be up to Geist and whoever goes with him to rescue Lost without tripping thirty billion alarms.

Although alternatively, the rescue party can opt to drop out just beyond the system, and move in undetected in a shuttle or a non-Bravo ship to conduct the rescue op. That way we can absolve suspicion of our involvement to some degree.

Feel free to ignore this though, because if you get caught, I'm dropping you all like a rock.

I can't quite remember what the deathpress jammer is again - is it the one that blocks flux signals from flying away?

Unfortunately, I can't think of any valid reason for Walker to request those kind of things. I'm not saying "no, Walker won't help you;" rather it's that I can't think up of a valid excuse for Walker to use that could get him this stuff.

You could probably try reverse-engineering the saint staff/gun and converting it to a field-like projector to get a similar if not better effect.

But in any case, until Titan is dealt with, Walker won't be committing any available resources to anything that won't help us not die painful deaths at the hands of the Makarians.

The idea is that we are 'testing' the mak drive right? The idea for the deathpress jammer and the coms jamming equipment is that it'd be used to prevent word of it getting out and to help us cover up any accidents should we miss our mark and end up somewhere far in the past or something.

Avoiding paradox and the like that would happen from word getting out if we happened to accidentally pop up at random backwater colony A sometime in the past or something like that.

Oh. Forgot about the time shenanigans part.

Sure, I guess Walker would fill out the requisition forms then. But only AFTER Titan is finished, or at a more appropriate time.

No point in planning for a future if there isn't one, you know?

In the meantime, I suggest you do something with the Algorhymes, or something concerning ships. Having more shooty things is always a plus.

Blaze had come to medical after getting back from his points gathering mission, feeling a little better about himself. He liked being useful, and he figured those resources he managed to salvage and requisition would be a welcome addition to Bravo's coffers. He'd received a message telling him to head to medical. It didn't say what for, but he wasn't one to question orders. Entering, he told the attendant about the message, who directed him towards the surgery wing. Surgery wing? He didn't have anything wrong with him. Then it dawned on him. Medical also handled biological and cybernetic upgrades. He was probably due for one, what with how long he'd been with Bravo.

He was met by a nano surgeon, who directed him to strip down.

"Getting right to business, huh? I'm down with that."

    The surgeon smirked.

"If I got a point for every time I've heard that joke, I'd be able to fund my own battle fleet."

Blaze got out of his clothes, and went through a nano bath to sterilize his body before being sent into the surgery room, a white walled, completely sterile cube with a single grav pod in the center, surrounded by various robotic arms tipped with various multi purpose operating instruments. They looked a lot more dangerous and painful than they ought to be. The surgeon entered after him, and directed him to get in the grav pod.
    >> [K]Blaze !HeLloxNGm. 04/20/11(Wed)23:34 No.14663759
The grav pod was a series of gravity manipulators in the floor and ceiling designed to keep a person's body suspended and completely immobile in the air, for delicate, full body procedures for which a normal table would be unsuitable. Blaze stepped into the center of the bottom set of gravity tethers, and the surgeon engaged them, lifting Blaze up and into a position with his arms and legs outstretched. He tried to move a little. He was completely immobile. The surgeon nodded.

    "Good. You're nice and restrained."

Blaze tried to look over, but his head was also held in place by the powerful gravity tethers. He could only move his eyeballs, and speak to a certain extent.

"Kinky... Uh, why do I need to be restrained so much?"

The surgeon opened the door to leave, looking over her shoulder at him with a wry smile.

"So you don't squirm too much. Oh, by the way, Walker says 'maybe this'll teach you to stay away from needles.'"

She closed the door after her. Blaze looked nervously around at the medical implements which surrounded him.

"WHAT?! DOC! DOC!? DOC!! I GET ANASTHETICS RIGHT? THIS IS SOME SICK JOKE! HA HA, FUNNY, THAT REALLY SLAPS ME ON THE KNEES!"

The surgeon entered the control room, turning some music on and quietly humming to herself.

"Hmhmhmm... well! Time to start the operation!"
    >> [K]Blaze !HeLloxNGm. 04/20/11(Wed)23:36 No.14663785
The medical arms whirred to life, aligning with his bones and joints, closing in painfully slowly. Blaze's eyes darted around at them as they moved in. Those were definitely not just syringes.

"THOSE AREN'T NEEDLES, THOSE ARE FUCKING DRILLS!!!"

The drills bored through Blaze's skin, and while small, they caused no small amount of pain, blood trickling off and into the gravity tethers, small droplets hanging in the air around him. Blaze clenched his jaw shut as the thin drills bored into his flesh, exhaling through his teeth, saliva jetting out from the intensity with which he breathed. This was just the beginning.

    "FFFFFFFFF YOU BITCH! YOOOOU BIIIIIGHREHHRUYYHHHHHGGHHHK."

The drills reached his bones, boring through them and into his marrow. Ninites poured out from microscopic vents in each drill, invading his bones and muscles forcefully, cracking through his bones and tearing through his muscles.

    "NNNNNGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH"

The nanites created numerous micro fractures throughout his bones, weaving carbon nano fiber through them as they did so. A second wave of nanites healed the spots where the nano fibers didn't intrude, initiating rapid osteogenesis. In his marrow, nanites rebuilt it to allow it to generate new blood cells faster, and the platelets to cause rapid clotting to prevent blood loss in the event of injury. His muscle fibers were woven with a smart reactive material that would harden when enough kinetic energy was applied. The effect was attacks wouldn't pierce through his flesh as easily, and the tissue was resistant to the effects of hydrostatic shock.
    >> [K]Blaze !HeLloxNGm. 04/20/11(Wed)23:37 No.14663804
Speaking of shock, that's exactly what Blaze went through. The pain caused him to black out, bloody mucus and saliva splattered from his nose and mouth where he'd exhaled violently as the nanites worked, ripping through him in just a single minute. He lay suspended there, still immobile. The surgeon looked down as the scan results came in.

"Vitals... good. Ossification... complete. Projected combat vitality and durability enhanced by... 42.159%! A rousing success!"

She looked at Blaze through the view screen as he lay immobile in the air.
"Mmmm... always nice to see a good body improved... WITH SCIENCE!"

    Okay

So according to OC, a prior NCA made by Grey has resulted in Titan and it's 12 moons to shift alignment such that there's gonna be a gravity well that will interfere with the Makarians. Likely near or on their warp point.

Problem is, those moons are now on a collision course with Titan.

So here's what I was thinking:

There's these things called mass-generating rings; they're what allows an Interceptor to move and whatnot. I was thinking of crafting a whole bunch of those and using them to "steer" the moons to avert the collision.

And preferably into the path of the incoming Makarian fleet.

We could also install those array guns (like what was on Blacksad) on each of those moons, and use the mass-generator ring steering to position them in such a way that there won't be a catastrophic collision, and we'd have big guns pointed at the Makarian fleet.

I was also thinking of maybe replicating that giant centipede thing in the FEX mission - except that instead of simply eating the dirt, it, along with maybe some very specialized xenoforms, will eat/process rocks and fire them into space.

Think the bugs from Starship Troopers, but much less explode-y and more "throwing football-sized chunks rocks into space."

    Well, maybe not that big.

Anyway, plans, we need 'em. Because we're gonna get smeared in the next game.

wouldn't it be way too late to enact any of those plans?

from what I understood, mak fleet will arrive in under a day or two

probably enough time to NCA set up additional orbital defenses or something but not enough time to set up cannons like Blacksad

and what exactly was the effect of the gravity well again? from waht I understood, we could pick where the maks will jump out right?

The moons were a mess, Dom had thought. But now was the time to make the best of it. His scouts had located crude pools of minerate under the topsoil and had begun siphoning out the needed minerals to bolster the naval forces. It wasn't much, a few hives here or there and outfitting chutes where roaches would launch themselves off from.

Gaseous hive balloons circulated at a nervous rate
supplying what limited oxygen they had to the jumpy miners that held their breath and worked at a steady rate. If the Commander was capable of moving planets, then the little prince with his growing army of bugs should be able to afford them the precious minutes needed to let Bravo do what was needed.

It was quiet around the pen. Ever since Dragon had left, Dom had gone silent for weeks talking briefly only to Found and sometimes Walker through their heads. No one else garnered the understanding that those two did and so, his eerie silence produced more and more armed escorts to tail him first covertly, and now, within arm's reach.

    Ok Idea.

Since we have so much trackway on next map why dont we just accelerate like fuck towards the enemy. We're not gonna survive a prolonged battle, and when it comes to trying to outmaneuver them , they still have the upper hand esp since titan is right there as a target.

So we just power through their lines, a buncha fighter squads , some pre fired nukes that will be travelling with our interceptors, a small group of naval ships. 2-3 cruisers or a battle ship on top. Once the battleship destroys and we hit negative -30 we'll be fine staying on titan for a while cause all the post mission pay will just come rolling in. Like an avalanche. LIKE AN AVALANCHE.

This gamble will be 2-3 turns depending, and whatever , cruiser or battleship that is left can fire an insertion party into the mothership and we can pretty much take it from there.

My only concern with that plan is the two or three surviving Mak array ships shooting the nukes while they're still in the middle of our forces.

Other than that I volunteer for the first boarding party!

so we set the objective as to get a capital ship to the mak mothership and force a ground mission then

we could also use the gravity well as an excuse to have some friendly defense platforms on the map, say it made the mak fleet jumped out close to a defensive line or something

or we could use it to divide the mak fleet, make the initial number of enemies on the map more manageable with the rest appearing a couple of phases later. . .

A decent idea, but one that I'm a bit hesitant on running, if only because of the massive point expenditures. Workable, and likely to succeed compared to a straight up pure-naval fight, but it's really risky.

I don't suppose we can start it off by accelerating a moon (or two) straight into their lines right as they jump out? While the smaller ships may be able to evade, the larger ones probably won't be able to. And since they'd be so close to it, the gravity will prevent them from warping away.

Any other alternatives, people? I'd like to get as many plans and ideas as we can get so we can explore all our options.

Titan and her 12 moons. Their drift is listed.

Arrange them how you like at the start of the battle.
Makarians cannot warp within 1 length of them.

Commander Keen and other forces are also pooling their resources, valued at 200 Points.

These points wont be redeemed for anything after the battle.

Delicious. I don't suppose we know the location that they will be starting at, no?

In any case, a possible plan would be to arrange the moons in a checkerboard pattern, and cover them with guns. Make it so that in order to get to Titan, they first need to run a gauntlet of moving moons. Hell, we can make them move around Titan like the cars in Frogger.

We can also fill the gaps between the planets with mines - nukes, orbital guns, whatever we can think of. Make it so that just trying to get past would kill a considerable bunch.

Presumably, they would get through. At that point, we'd have our forces arrayed against them, but close enough to Titan that they still won't be able to warp, and will likely be in range of any low/high orbit cannons we manage to get on the ground.

At that point, the forces should be evened somewhat, and we can still bull-rush them with boarding parties.

Let's see... current point estimates from the previous thread puts us at:

    120 for Naval
24 for Ground (100 in reserve).

We have gotten an additional 130 through the Algorhymes and Blaze's prior NCA.

So I'll allocate 80 points to naval, so our naval CO will be sitting at a cushy 200 points, and ground at 74 (+100).

So King/Weird/whoever will CO naval will have our own 200 points, plus the non-recoverable 200 points of Commander Keen.
