    Hey /tg/,

I'd like to figure out the stats for standard Necron Warriors and possibly Flayed Ones.

I was looking through Death Watch's The Emperor Protects and I'm thinking of having a Necron encounter for a game I might run soon.

    Any ideas?

    Spectral Harbinger Profile

    WS: 55 BS: 48 S: 50 T: 55 Ag: 45 Int: 30 Per: 45 WP: 45 Fel: ––

    Armour: Metallic Exoskeleton (All 8).
    Weapons: Bladed Claws (1d10+9 R; Pen 2, Tearing, †Phase

First off, remember that spectral wraiths' melee attacks are 1d10+15, not 1d10+9 (Unnatural Strength x3 and SB 5).
Necrons warriors are basically slower marines, so I'd just work off of the Marine entry in "Purge the Unclean" as an archetype for stats.

Hlm. I'm running my (DH) group through a 'cron game and so far I've only run them against 'non-fluff-accurate' 'crons. I agree with everything you've got there, except, though, the high Ag and Dodge
'crons have pretty shitty iniative and aren't ones for moving quickly in any sort of hurry, they just tank it on their epic toughness, armour and-
    Wait, what's the Spectral Harbinger?
I, for a moment there thought you were talking about a regular 'cron Warrior.

Spectral Harbingers are wraiths, it is just that they cannot say that they are, because the scenario in Deathwatch takes place before the first canon recorded encounter between Imperial and Necorn forces.
I think that the Tomb Spyder (it is under a different name too, I think) has the Gauss rules.

The Tomb Spyder is armed with a Particle Emitter, which is a MUCH stronger gauss weapon than the flayer.

I also need something to grant it the 'terrifying visage' ability in Warhammer 40k roleplay. Right now all it has is Fear (4) which is 2 better than a Warrior and Immortal, but that seems like a cheap cop out where fear is concerned...

that... are some high end stats for a normal warrior
armor equivalent to space marine power armor, and abilities that surpasses those of most DW marines? sure, the strenght is not unnatural (and thank god for that)...
the toughness seems about right, they are necrons afterall, damn robots...
but I would lower their WS and BS a bit, 48 is a bit damn high for standard warrior, what has the necron lord, 100 in both?
ag 29 sure why not. They are slow ones, afterall, and not having dodge seems a 15% chance to dodge about right.
Willpower... I think I must complain here. They are fearless, yes, but we all know that they can decide to fall back if hurt badly (its the *logical* thing to do) and they dont like to fight until they have to phase out from too big damage.
intelligence... Im impressed you even gave them one. Afterall they are close to mindless slaves of the C'tan, having lost their mind piece for piece everytime their bodies got blown up and patched together. If I remember right, in one book all a necron that sees a human inside their tomb says is: found a surviver* and then moves on. Doesnt sound awful intelligent to me, but maybe you should give them a feat that, even though they have 35 intelligence, they just arent *clever*.
    no FS?
Well this way they can at least make a debate with a techpriest/marine

I really wish I could complain about the stats more. I really do. But yeah. thats all I can say.
