You're tired again. As much as you want to plan this out again, you know that you just want them all gone. Tired of the razors and metals and spikes, tired of everything. You don't notice that your darkmetal arm begins to tremble and the viscous oil within is starting to roil. All you think about is how simple it would be if the metal things would fall apart, would rust and be silent. You feel yourself wishing it were true, that they would just stop being.
And in a moment, they do.
Darkness floods out from you, everywhere. The metal beings stop and chitter, before being taken in by the blanket of shadow. The water seems to be pushed back from you as the burst of magic doesn't seem to explode, but seethes like uncontrollable fog.
Soon the smoke clears, and the silvery water around you is black and inky. On the shore, the same has happened. The shells of the constructs are dim and lifeless, some melting and some rusting, all blackened, though. You cough, feeling faint from exerting so much power, and you feel the world falling away...
