    I must say, the continuing rapid expansion of the colony and its resourses has certainly kept me busy. As of right now I have only catalogged perhaps less than half the number of colonists into the Colony Roster. It certainly did not help that our previuos AI crashed and burned, taking the original roster chit with it.
    Currently, morale is high amongst the workers and staff. Unfortunately, I am getting reports of... friction between the workers and the new security personnel apparantly sent to us by the brass. I will need to speak with both parties on this matter, especially this Commandant Forthwright. He seems to be the ringleader and is a more pompous ass than I am...
    Speaking of circuses, I heard on the grapevine that we got our first religeous nutjob, and what a nut he is. I will need to speak with Senior Security Officer Reeds about this maybe give him a custodial job where cannot do any serious harm.
    Also our new psychatrist has no indoor voice. It really grating to hear it through comms. Going to see if I can find a mute.
    Ah, last note. I've been reading the energy reports given to me by Electronics Specialist Lister and I noticed that the newly built Artrium is pulling far more power from the grid than normal, even considering the small biolab we installed to appease those finicky scientists. I will need to file an inquery on that when I have the time.
    Oh and now we have to deal with con-artists and a very angry constable.

    You should ask the astro-physicist for exact details, but the basic gist is that good ol' fuel has a lot more *oomph* than any electric propulsion on that scale, meaning for a satellite that is much more manoeuvrable. There is a solar array and electric propulsion already on it for smaller course corrections and such, but if you want the satellite to dodge any sort of astral projectile you need fuel.

    "Calm down sir, we have just received word that the AI situation has been resolved. You will be able to return once things are cleaned up. Probably in one week."

    Furious and angry, nothing will stop Carson from seeing his creation first hand. He intimidates the spaceport into getting him on the emergency relief shuttle, thanks to his contractual engineer badge.

    Carson begins the flight back to the station.
