After battling your way off an uncharted world, you returned to the lawless city of New Jerusalem to collect your horde of treasure - treasure stolen from High Lord Bryston Spruesworth, nephew of the Emperor and ruler of this sector.

There you met and befriended Endman of Futuron, an adventurer without fear. With his aid you bought the loyalty of Azimuth of the Ice Men and the space knight Rom, and liberated your treasure once more.

Attacked by bounty hunters at the starport gates, you saved the life of the beautiful Officer Clarke of the Space Police and learned that a second, illegal bounty had been placed on your head by Spruesworth.

Clarke, in turn, confided that most of the Space Police had been corrupted by Spruesworth's influence.

Now wanted dead or alive, with a seemingly endless stream of bounty hunters on your tail, the three of you have joined forces to bring down Spruesworth's corrupt regime.

Seeking allies, you fled to the hellish swamp-world of Oasis, where you found a thousand miners willing to revolt, if you could improve their chances of survival.

Striking a bargain, the miners provided you with a bargaining chip: blockonium, the substance every starship engine requires to function.

In need of aid and with nowhere else to turn, you crossed the border into Blacktron space to bargain with its nightmarish inhabitants.

The Blacktrons, in turn, were eager to aid in Spruesworth's demise, and provided you with a shadow field generator, which they claimed can render your ship invisible to all sight and sensor.

Now, in orbit above the desolate Blacktron world, you plan your next move.

The corpse of a long-dead Imperial soldier lies entombed in Clarke's cryofreeze, but his decades-old access code granting entrance to the Imperial city on Regis Major lies within your ship's computer.
