The perimeter wall is rectangular and each corner has a taller tower built into it with an autocannon turret on top. During the battle, the north and south-west cannons were destroyed, however, leaving that side of the wall severely underdefended.

The largest building in the one that you and your taktikal mob stormed to find the hiding Sororitas. It is a supply and command center that seems to be the central hub of the construction process the base was still undergoing. The main area is several storeys high and has three trucks parked inside it alongside stacked crates of machinery, munitions, building materials and tools. Towards the rear of the building are the stairs to the second and third floor which compromises entirely of adminstrative offices - easily convertable to another purpose.

There are also three barracks already constructed seemingly designed to house 20 humies each. It wouldn't be difficult to squeeze a similar number of boyz into each. An armory - the building that the psyker, commissar and priest fled into - is also nearby, far from full but likely to include some interesting dakka. Aside from the many barrels of fuel and sandbags, the only other notable feature to be found are three construction vehicles - two diggers and a crane.

Gutwort is still back at base with his gretchin, and any serious construction efforts will require fetching him. You have many challenges to face, Toofsum - what do you do?

You gather up four of the boyz that you stormed the depot with - tough and skarred from constant brawling amongst themselves, and dead handy with their chain-choppas. Realising that bringing back the gretchen and some more boyz will take up a lot of space, you two take two of the human trucks with you - a boy to drive the truck you take, and two in the other.

Grotlikka, meaner than ever despite his embarassing accident, assures you that the base in in good hands.

Driving back to the Goff camp will take several hours and there is potential for trouble. Do you take a longer, safer route or the speediest? (roll either way)

Before leaving, your boyz make sure to grab a few corpses and paint some bloody symbols on the trucks. Not only will it make your trip back super-fast, but rolling into the camp in distinctly human vehicles would be potentially problematic otherwise.

The trip itself seems to take virtually no time at all. Perhaps it is the paint, or perhaps your driver somehow found a direct route that was also completely safe. Probably a bit of both.

Once back at camp you soon find Gutwort, sitting out front with the gretchen and other meks but snoring loudly in in a chair.

The process takes about an hour. First of all you have to step into the stompy legs, then put on power pak, then the chest and shoulder plates. Slipping on the power klaw again is easy. The most time consuming thing is the resizing and wiring, though clearly Gutwort is honest about being a damn good Mek, as he manages all the fiddly bits without needing grot help. Like he said, the suit was built a bit small for your current size, but a little creative bodging has given you enough room and more - it will take a lot more klobberin' before you need to have it resized again.

Afterwards, Gutwort steps back and admires his 'andiwork. "Gork I'm good at dis. Oh, derez wun more fing I forgot to mention Boss. Had my grotz make up a Waaagh banner too. 'aven't put a symbol onnit yet - figured ya would want a Goff wun, but..."

Most of them look at each other all suspicious like at first, thinking this sounds like a good way to get duffed by the other nobz. On the uvver hand though, you have mega armor and most of the 'ard gitz that's been bothering them didn't. There's a lot of chatter as they discuss it amongst themselves, then the majority move up to you in a chaotic crowd.

Gutwort handles the details and tells them to head to the mek shop on the hill by the south entrance and that there will be some boyz there who will tell 'em wot trukks to get into.

[You guys should be thankful I didn't go with Dok Dre. Figured that would be pretty amusing, too. If you all really want to change it, you can duff once the more important things are out of the way.]

Not wanting to have grots hanging off of you on the way back, you tell a few of the new boyz to go with the gretchen instead, and to watch where they sit. You then climb in the back of the Boyz trukk and, through a combination of boyz riding up on top and squeezing into the cab up front, manage to fit everyone.

The ride back takes a lot longer than the ride into town. Partly because of the blood painted on going bad, and partly because of the extra weight, it is very dark by the time you arrive at the base.

You pull in through the gate and the mobz hop off the truck. It seems that Grotlikka has worked the boyz hard, and a lot of the wreckage and corpses have been piled up properly.

Your boyz are due for a snooze, but your word is law. What now?

Thread is archived on sup/tg/. Thanks for playing again guys, it's been fun again. Sorry that the entire thread has been at the camp, but I guess it's just the way things turn out sometimes. I figure part 6 should be called "Base Buildan'...but for real this time."

I'm hoping the Dok Okk name doesn't annoy too many people. Like I said before, if necessary he can be krumped and renamed after the important stuff is done.

As for the Waaagh Banner issue, I like the idea of the 'Ard Arses but figure that it could be used a little less blatantly. I'm in favor of a more Goffy symbol on the banner itself, but how about if you call your toughest boys the 'Ard Arses?
