    The facility itself is a medium sized stationary on the outskirts of the large asteroid field known as the Diamond Shoals. They are equipped with sixty Light Corvettes and an allowance of six new Corvettes each year to replace damaged corvettes. The Chief reports that of the one hundred eighty additional corvettes this facility was supposed to receive, only thirteen have been delivered.

    The majority of the corvettes in service are from when this facility was first built. The rest were.... 'Donated' by various Turanic Pirate Groups.

    The research is primarily geared towards better harvesting techniques and efficiencies.

    They are armed with a number of mass drivers and a single plasma torpedo tube for destruction of asteroids which break free from the field and are a threat to the facility.
