    So the Elemental Plane of Fire is composed of fire, things that are on fire, and fire elementals. Elementals don't need to eat or breathe, but according to the Manual of the Planes, they sustain each other by symbiotically setting each other on fire.

    Think about that for a minute. It doesn't make thermodynamic sense, sure, but there's something beautiful there. When you set someone on fire, it's a thing of pure altruism- you don't know for sure that they're going to set you on fire back, but you do it anyway. You do it because they need it, because it feels good, and because even when you set someone else on fire, you're still on fire.

    It's a lot like being in love.

    Fire Elementals love the whole world. They come from a perfect paradise, a world filled with infinite love, and they just want to share it. When they get summoned to our cold, grey world, filled with people walking around unloved, it just makes them sad. We're so obsessed with our expensive suits and big houses and fast cars- you don't need any of those things when you're in love! And even when we do let love into our lives, it's in tiny doses in fixed places and certain times. Love wants to be free! They don't let stupid things like color or creed or gender or species get in the way: they love everybody.

    It's because love is the most natural, and the most powerful thing in the world.

    Love and fire are allways bound together. Alittle redundant but kinda goes green lantern on me. With all these difrent colour's responding to elements or emotions and so on.
