!uGYNBMPzOs 12/01/10(Wed)22:26 No.12997366"You wouldnt happen to be willing to spar with me then, would you?" Laelith replies, drawing her sickle.
"I would be happy to." you reply, drawing your sword.
Laelith thinks for a moment before stating "My sash is off limits, by the way." at that she charges you, her balance too far forward, so you sidestep and strike her shapely rear with the flat of your blade. To her credit, the elf doesnt spill to the ground, but she does get the message. As she turns around and takes a proper stance she stares daggers at you with a smile on her face.
After ten minutes you had 'killed' Laelith twice, and landed another good slap to her hindquarters, her temper clearly flaring by then. She launches herself at you again, steel ringing out against meteorite, the pace of the blows ever increasing. The fury of Laeliths attacks drives you back a step before you see her pattern, which you swiftly break, sending her blade flying. You advance, snaking your right foot around behind her right and body checking the elf, spilling her to the ground. "Predictability is death." you advise the exhausted elf, sitting down net to her on the ground.
"But, I was trained in sequences, my studies taught me even more..." she replies her face a tome on confusion, as if she has forgotten something she shouldn't.
"That may work, but not when you allow yourself to be put into repetitive loops, never use a single sequence more than once." you reply. "You did well for having much of your martial prowess sapped by your ex-patrons leaving you though." you reply.
"I know my skills." Laelith replies, clearly not one who is gracious in defeat. "As well as my limits. thank you for the help, Justinian." she replies, rising, and slapping you hand away as she does so... you hadnt actually intended to...
