    The final chapter of this particular story.

    What will happen on this day, this hour, this minute will either be known as one of humanity's greatest push against a monstrous army of zombies or the first signs of her downfall. This is the Story of October University, her survivors, her warriors, her martyrs.

    My name is Dominic Dammit, a stupid fucking name I thought up when this word was ending. In the 2 days that I have fought here and gained friends and a family, I felt truly alive. More so than when this world was already dying.

    We cleared house finally and we've set up everything we could.A few more preparations here and there perhaps, 90 minutes slows down and lurches forward differently for everyone.

    The engineering time burns through the minutes, while our warriors stare at the sun beaten pavement before them, getting ready.

    To no surprise to anyone, the horde of 500 outside has grown to nearly 700 in the few hours that we have fought.

    Worse yet, our numbers declined quite a bit. The suicide soldiers taking the biggest blow.

    Ranks of dudes firing into the horde, even spread along the whole gate so nothing gets around them. Any vehicles used in the assault go in the second the gate goes down, and tear shit up up and down the highway that goes along the wall.

    Melee row first, see if we cant crank out some sort of shields or something for everyone in the first rank.
    Then fire arms, molotovs for the second rank, and any other ranks we can fill in the gap.

    We got snipers? They take up positions on roofs and shoot any zombies that look mutated.

    Alright people, it may not be enough to just sit and weather this. It might be a good idea to come up with a plan to go on the offensive.

    Now yes, we do have an advantage sitting back and letting the zeds come and waste themselves against us. But at the same time, the longer the battle is dragged out, the more casualties we build up. We can't afford a battle of attrition - the zeds will slowly whittle us away.

    We can go on the offensive (to some degree), in which we can move to end the battle before casualties rise. Yes, there's the possibility that we'll incur a rather large amount of casualties that way too. But the risk may well be worth it.

    So, who is up for which choice?

    Oh, so we don't need to give active orders for the turrets then.

    Unless... can we program them all to fire in a line, then slowly walk the line of bullet death up to the entrance, in which case they just constantly fill it with lead death with auto fire? While it would mean that the turrets are not guaranteed to actually be hitting anything, it would act as an effective filter for the incoming horde, allowing our human shooters to focus on those who slip through, and our CQC guys on those who manage to get past the shooters as well.

    I think everyone on foot should pull back to the West Wing of the dorms. We'll barricade the first floor, and since the zombies are dumb, we can whittle them down with gunfire from the second floor.

    MotorKrieg and Iron Snail retreat west and set up a second perimeter while engineering teams attempt to re-setup minefields and sentry turrets.
    Have Iron Snail first roll up to Jinn and Snake, and have them and the South Engineering team hitch a ride before bugging out west.

    We want to fight the boss zombies on our terms, not while there's a wave of regular zombies mere steps behind them.

    Keep BCB on 'cretes or other hardened ground. Use Snail to push fire truck, after popping a shell-shocker at Frankie-Zed and the 160 mob.

    All of our more tank-like melee stars are away. Jinn is in full armor, is he willing to take the chance to be bait? He just has to start walking across the grass and start piling bullets onto Frankie-Zed or the mob, while a couple of our sharpshooters keep an eye on him.

    Let the MK group join the returning motorcade, and start throwing flammables or incendiaries towards the mob. They are useless against the Graboid-Zed anyway.

    Can we call on Bea's inspiring speech for morale boost? And pull Griska and Bullet Bill out of sniping outside mob in order to tackle on these Special Zeds.

    I just woke up and checked it. I basically just take 3 hour naps off and on when there's a Z quest thread up.


    Also, see if the burrowers target on the explosions. If they do then hit that location with a much bigger explosion just after the first goes off. Need to kill something underground? Dig a big hole... with bombs. Either that or we find an underground wall and run them into it

Have the motorkrieg sweep around to the back side of that big mob and start running shit over back there.     Actually, it's not stupid if it forces us to use up Iron Snail's precious Havoc shells on regular walker zombies instead of on a boss.
    Shelly's main cannon rounds are a very limited commodity; we don't even know if any extra shells were included in our last supply shipment and we used up a almost half of them in the Stadium fight.

    Bea, Stig, Jinn, and Snake need to fight that boss that just appeared, and the burrower is still a threat.
    Everyone on foot should fall back to the dorm and attack the horde from the second floor. The MotorKrieg should see if they can rescue the drivers of the two downed cars then fall back to the west.

    We have two BCB squads, one MK squad, Snake, and Jinn for effective ranged combat. Against a hundred and forty-five, and growing, horde of zombies. To compound the matter, grabbies are circling who knows where ready to murder anyone on foot if they make any noise. If the horde's advance isn't stopped in the next turn we will be overrun. I'd suggest sending the Motorkrieg at the front of the horde, but Frankie would fuck them up, so they can only assault the back. If we fire the Havoc shell though it'll blow a nice hole in that horde and there's a good chance it could kill Frankie at the same time. If it doesn't? Then he's all exposed and we mow him down with regular gun fire.
