!uGYNBMPzOs 11/03/10(Wed)23:45 No.12672503>>12672363 from what she told you, it depends on the mount and if it is properly trained and conditioned for what you give it, they are incredibly durable creatures and with proper training they can bear almost anything.
Steel, reliable, cheap, the bare minimum.
Meteorite: stronger than steel, and MUCH more resistant to heat, but heavier and not cheap to use do to the heats it needs to be heated to.
Mithia: slightly weaker than meteorite, lighter and more malleable. Its main advantage is that lightness, so it int much good for barding on an Uursan the size of spite, the fact that elfs prefer to work with it more than any other race makes it hard to get in the Empire
Adamantium: The strongest, heaviest natural ore. Intensely rare, but impervious to rust, corrosion, and most other forms of wear. expensive as hell though.
Kextraeita (Dwarven Steel): the strongest material known to the world. Only Dwarves know how to make it, and they are loathe to share its secrets, they almost revere the substance, but it is nigh impervious to any sort of damage, doesnt weigh much more than Mithia, and can be made to cover more area with ease.
so, what kind of barding are you looking for then, and how high end do you want to go? |
