No. Space Marines and Forces of the Inquisition.

It introduced...the land raider redeemer (For grey knights instead of just regualar marines) and the Chimera/Rhino hybrid the Repressor, which I think was the best thing in the book but still not really enough for either grey knights OR Sisters.

Maybe a suit of Heavy Power Armour. 2+ but no inv, slow and purposeful and a heavy weapon. Just what you need for killing things as tough as the Necrons.

A flyer of some sort, either a troop transport or a strike fighter. The Sisters do have spaceships, just no warships.

Maybe Armour 11 all round only weapon is a vulcan-megabolter or just a few long-barrel multimeltas (Range 36). Fast enough to rival the Dark Eldar.

There are still plenty of things you could give the Sisters.

The Badab War is probably the most interesting background concerning marines in the entire 40k canon. What I know of this suggests I'll like it, because it explores what happens when Marines aren't prissy-perfect do-gooders. Huron says, "fuck you," to the Imperium and turns tyrants, bringing in several other chapters under his schism. He marshals armies of marines and rebel guard and fights against the loyalist chapters sent against him. The war draws to a stalemate, and the loyalists are gradually replaced by much more ruthless-but-loyal chapters who are probably much worse than the Astral Claws ever were. The Minotaurs kill 20% of the sector population as collateral damage in four months, and they're the -good- guys.

Fair point. But consider the Red Corsairs are more of an ever-present thorn in the Imperium's side than the traitor legions even if they aren't actually as much of a threat overall. And his numbers are huge now, because lots of renegade marines from other chapters join up with Huron's fleet. He even has a Space Wolf battle barge or something now, I think.

Can't bump it any more. Also it seems scanon won't do rest part of book. Such a pity :( Background is the most interesting part in all IA books.
Thou if anyone have some hope, feel free to help this thread stay alive.

I liked it better when Red Scorpions had to pay 25 points to change the sergeants into apothecaries.

Except he's actually sort of better. Less attacks, but S4.

Is the Tyrant's Legion actually a good/usable army list?

    Red Scorpions seem hax.

I tried them out in a game. Managed to defeat an BA opponent. Only one game but I think they're meh. The auxilia suck, don't make the mistake of spamming them.

Anons, please help this thread endure. I hope Scanon (previous or new) eventually will deliver.
    >> Anonymous 10/13/10(Wed)19:18 No.12433721
In any case, I leave this thread in your hands for now.

There is nothing more I can do than commend my soul to the Emperor and continue to bump this thread until the day that Scanon returns or another arrives to take his mantle.
